Phase synchronization of two linearly coupled Rossler oscillators with parameter misfits is explored.It is found that depending on parameter mismatches,the synchronization of phases exhibits different manners.The synchronization regime can be divided into three regimes.For small mismatches,the amplitude-insensitive regime gives the phase-dominant synchronization; When the parameter misfit increases,the amplitudes and phases of oscillators are correlated,and the amplitudes will dominate the synchronous dynamics for very large mismatches.The lag time among phases exhibits a power law when phase synchronization is achieved.  相似文献

This paper detects and characterizes the diverse roles played by bounded noise in chaotic phase synchronization (CPS) of weakly coupled nonlinear stochastic systems. Analysis of a paradigmatic model of two bidirectional coupled three-level food chains is carried out by various statistical measures such as Shannon entropy and mutual information. The results indicate that inside the synchronous regime, CPS is considerably reduced under the influence of bounded noise; near the onset of phase synchronization, temporal phase locking is diversely changed with the increase of noise, i.e., either weak or strong noise also degrades the degree of CPS, while intermediate noise enhances CPS remarkably, and an optimal noise intensity is detected that maximizes the enhancement.  相似文献

Lag synchronization is a recently discovered theoretical phenomenon where the dynamical variables of two coupled, nonidentical chaotic oscillators are synchronized with a time delay relative to each other. We investigate experimentally and numerically to what extent lag synchronization can be observed in physical systems where noise is inevitable. Our measurements and numerical computation suggest that lag synchronization is typically destroyed when the noise level is comparable to the amount of average system mismatch. At small noise levels, lag synchronization occurs in an intermittent fashion.  相似文献

The dynamics of one-way coupled systems with discrete time is considered. The behavior of the coupled logistic maps is compared to the dynamics of maps obtained using the Poincaré sectioning procedure applied to the coupled continuous-time systems in the phase synchronization regime. The behavior (previously considered as asynchronous) of the coupled maps that appears when the complete synchronization regime is broken as the coupling parameter decreases, corresponds to the phase synchronization of flow systems, and should be considered as a synchronous regime. A quantitative measure of the degree of synchronism for the interacting systems with discrete time is proposed.  相似文献

This paper deals with the chaotic oscillator synchronization. An approach to the synchronization of chaotic oscillators has been proposed. This approach is based on the analysis of different time scales in the time series generated by the coupled chaotic oscillators. It has been shown that complete synchronization, phase synchronization, lag synchronization, and generalized synchronization are the particular cases of the synchronized behavior called "time-scale synchronization." The quantitative measure of chaotic oscillator synchronous behavior has been proposed. This approach has been applied for the coupled R?ssler systems and two coupled Chua's circuits.  相似文献

The noise influence on the generalized synchronization mode in dissipative coupled chaotic systems is analyzed. It is shown that the noise practically does not influence the threshold of the synchronous mode occurrence. The generalized synchronization is noise-resistant. The reasons for the revealed particularity are explained by means of the modified system approach [18] and verified by the results of numerical simulation of unidirectional coupled flow systems and discrete mapping.  相似文献

时滞和噪声在复杂网络中普遍存在,而含有耦合时滞和噪声摄动的耦合网络同步的研究工作却极其稀少. 本文针对噪声环境下具有不同节点动力学、不同拓扑结构及不同节点数目的耦合时滞网络,提出了两个网络之间的广义投影滞后同步. 首先,构建了更加贴近现实的驱动-响应网络同步的理论框架;其次,基于随机时滞微分方程LaSalle不变性原理,严格证明了在合理的控制器作用下,驱动网络和响应网络在几乎必然渐近稳定性意义下能够取得广义投影滞后同步;最后,借助于计算机仿真,通过具体的网络模型验证了理论推理的有效性. 数值模拟结果表明,驱动网络与响应网络不但能够达到广义投影滞后同步,而且同步效果不依赖于耦合时滞和比例因子的选取,同时也揭示了更新增益和耦合时滞对同步收敛速度的显著性影响. 关键词: 复杂网络 广义投影滞后同步 随机噪声 时滞  相似文献

Generalized synchronization is analyzed in unidirectionally coupled oscillatory systems exhibiting spatiotemporal chaotic behavior described by Ginzburg-Landau equations. Several types of coupling between the systems are analyzed. The largest spatial Lyapunov exponent is proposed as a new characteristic of the state of a distributed system, and its calculation is described for a distributed oscillatory system. Partial generalized synchronization is introduced as a new type of chaotic synchronization in spatially nonuniform distributed systems. The physical mechanisms responsible for the onset of generalized chaotic synchronization in spatially distributed oscillatory systems are elucidated. It is shown that the onset of generalized chaotic synchronization is described by a modified Ginzburg-Landau equation with additional dissipation irrespective of the type of coupling. The effect of noise on the onset of a generalized synchronization regime in coupled distributed systems is analyzed.  相似文献

We present the first analytical investigation of lag chaos synchronization between two unidirectionally coupled identical time-delayed systems in the case when these systems are governed by two characteristic times: the delay time in the coupling is generally different from the delay time in the coupled systems. Also, for the first time we demonstrate that parameter mismatches can explain the fact that the lag time is equal to the coupling delay. These findings can be helpful to explain coupling-delay lag time in chaos synchronization.  相似文献

We discuss the constructive role of noise (white and colored) in chaos synchronization in time-delayed systems. We first numerically investigate noise-induced synchronization (NIS) between two identical uncoupled Ikeda and Mackey–Glass systems. We find that synchronization occurs above a critical noise intensity that differs for different colors of noise. Synchronization onset is characterized by the value of the maximum transverse Lyapunov exponent. We then discuss the enhancement of chaos synchronization between two time-delayed systems when they are coupled unidirectionally. The effect of parameter mismatch for NIS is described in detail. We provide experimental evidence of NIS for a Mackey–Glass-like system in an electronic circuit using different colors of noise. An integration scheme for time-delayed systems in the presence of additive white and colored noise is discussed.  相似文献

In this paper we describe the transition to phase synchronization for systems of coupled nonlinear oscillators that individually follow the Feigenbaum route to chaos. A nested structure of phase synchronized regions of different attractor families is observed. With this structure, the transition to nonsynchronous behavior is determined by the loss of stability for the most stable synchronous mode. It is shown that the appearance of hyperchaos and the transition from lag synchronization to phase synchronization are related to the merging of chaotic attractors from different families. An increase of the coupling strength in the system of two coupled R?ssler oscillators leads from a nonsynchronized state through phase synchronization to the regime of lag synchronization. The role of unstable periodic orbits in these transitions is investigated. Changes in the structure of attracting sets are discussed. We demonstrate that the onset of phase synchronization is related to phase-lockings on the surfaces of unstable tori, whereas transition from phase to lag synchronization is preceded by a decrease in the number of unstable periodic orbits.  相似文献

We study the regime of anticipated synchronization in unidirectionally coupled model neurons subject to a common external aperiodic forcing that makes their behavior unpredictable. We show numerically and by analog hardware electronic circuits that, under appropriate coupling conditions, the pulses fired by the slave neuron anticipate (i.e., predict) the pulses fired by the master neuron. This anticipated synchronization occurs even when the common external forcing is white noise.  相似文献

We have studied noise-induced synchronization in a distributed autooscillatory system described by the Ginzburg-Landau equations, which occur in a regime of chaotic spatiotemporal oscillations. A new regime of synchronous behavior, called incomplete noise-induced synchronization (INIS), is revealed, which can arise only in spatially distributed systems. The mechanism leading to the development of INIS in a distributed medium under the action of a distributed source of noise is analytically described. Good coincidence of analytical and numerical results is demonstrated.  相似文献

The processes of establishing of generalized chaotic synchronization in a network of mutually coupled continuous-time systems are investigated. The nature of interaction between the network elements in transitioning from synchronous to asynchronous behavior while increasing the communication parameter is studied. A synchronization regime, the nearest neighbors method, and calculations of the spectrum of Lyapunov exponents are used to clarify features of the interaction between network elements and the occurrence of a generalized chaotic.  相似文献

In an analysis of the interaction of self-excited and stimulated oscillations in the transient and steady-state regimes during the synchronization of Thomson systems, it is shown that, depending on the amplitude and detuning of the driving emf, the synchronous regime can be reached by a locking of the self-oscillation frequency as a result of the self-parametric effect and damping of the self-excited oscillations.  相似文献

The influence of noise on the generalized synchronization regime in the chaotic systems with dissipative coupling is considered. If attractors of the drive and response systems have an infinitely large basin of attraction, generalized synchronization is shown to possess a great stability with respect to noise. The reasons of the revealed particularity are explained by means of the modified system approach [A.E. Hramov, A.A. Koronovskii, Phys. Rev. E 71, 067201 (2005)] and confirmed by the results of numerical calculations and experimental studies. The main results are illustrated using the examples of unidirectionally coupled chaotic oscillators and discrete maps as well as spatially extended dynamical systems. Different types of the model noise are analyzed. Possible applications of the revealed particularity are briefly discussed.  相似文献

In this paper, partial synchronization (PaS) in networks of coupled chaotic oscillator systems and synchronization in sparsely coupled spatiotemporal systems are explored. For the PaS, we reveal that the existence of PaS patterns depends on the symmetry property of the network topology, while the emergence of the PaS pattern depends crucially on the stability of the corresponding solution. An analytical criterion in judging the stability of PaS state on a given network are proposed in terms of a comparison between the Lyapunov exponent spectrum of the PaS manifold and that of the transversal manifold. The competition and selections of the PaS patterns induced by the presence of multiple topological symmetries of the network are studied in terms of the criterion. The phase diagram in distinguishing the synchronous and the asynchronous states is given. The criterion in judging PaS is further applied to the study of synchronization of two sparsely coupled spatiotemporal chaotic systems. Different synchronization regimes are distinguished. The present study reveals the intrinsic collective bifurcation of coupled dynamical systems prior to the emergence of global synchronization.  相似文献
