介绍了在合肥光源重大维修改造工程期间,开发的一套基于扫频激励法的工作点测量系统。测量系统硬件包括基于条带BPM的信号拾取电极、前端信号调理模块、一台带跟踪输出的信号分析仪N9000AEP、功率放大器以及用于激励束流的条带激励器。系统控制软件采用EPICS开发,基于EPICS Stream Device设计的输入输出控制器(soft IOC)运行在服务器虚拟机中,通过VXI11协议进行通信实现对信号分析仪的控制和数据获取;用户操作界面采用EPICS平台下的EDM开发,通过Channel Access与IOC通信。在HLS-II储存环上对工作点测量系统进行了在线的调试。调试结果说明,在扫频范围为2.1 MHz到4.1 MHz时,工作点测量系统的统计分辨率在水平方向上好于0.000 3,在垂直方向上好于0.000 2。  相似文献

A monitoring system for measuring absolute intensity and the space—time structure of extracted beams of Nuclotron based on ionization and activation methods has been created and tested. A complex of detection equipment based on scintillation detectors for investigating dp elastic scattering at the internal target of the Nuclotron developed in the framework of the Deuteron Spin Structure (DSS) project is presented. The principle of the internal target position monitor at the Nuclotron is described. It has been developed for use in experiments with detection of particles in the forward direction. The scheme of the deuteron beam polarization measurements at Nuclotron are presented. A deuteron beam polarimeter based on the spin-asymmetry measurements in the dp-elastic scattering at large angles in center-of-mass system has been constructed at the internal target station at the Nuclotron of JINR. This polarimeter is planned to use for the measurements of the vector and tensor components of deuteron beam polarizations at the energies 270–2000 MeV simultaneously. In the framework of the NICA project preparation and experiments with the extracted Nuclotron beams, the development of an advanced system of circulating-beam diagnostics based on microchannel plates is presented. The detector prototype that has been developed, created, and tested on Nuclotron beams during four runs allows the space-time characteristics of a beam to be measured within a range of singly charged ion intensities from 106 to 109, which is not covered by the existing measuring tools.  相似文献

The results of the first extraction of the 3.42 A GeV 12C beam at Nuclotron and its transportation to the experimental area is presented.  介绍了Schottky信号的产生原理。研制了CSRe的Schottky束流诊断系统,该系统由一对平行的Schottky电极板、四分之一波螺旋谐振腔、低噪声放大器及数据获取系统组成。利用能量为481.88 MeV/u的78Kr36+束流对Schottky束流诊断系统进行灵敏度测试。结果表明该系统能够测量流强大于82 nA的束流。  相似文献

A novel optical arrangement for fluorescence detection that employs spatial separation as well as spectral filter to increase the signal to noise ratio is proposed. Using a prism and two mirrors, the elliptical laser beam of a laser diode, as an excitation light, is homogenized and the transmitted excitation light is separated from the fluorescence not to reach the collecting optics. Uncooled CCD can capture the fluorescence image of up to 40 fluorescently-labeled protein patterns without scanning or mechanical translation. This paper presents the simulation, construction and measurement results of the developed optical system. The measurements show that the combination of prism and mirrors converts the excitation light from the laser diode to uniform illumination on the specimen, and provides the separation between excitation and fluorescence light to give high signal to noise ratio. It is also possible to assay various protein concentrations ranging from 1000 to 10 ng/ml reliably. We believe that the proposed fluorescence detection system can be used to build a commercially valuable, low cost, hand-held or miniature fast detection device for point-of-care applications.  相似文献

The preamplifier based on the ASIC NINO for the Time of Flight system (TOF) of MPD/NICA was developed and tested. The signal is read from both sides of the strip of the multi gap Resistive Plate Chamber (MRPC). In total there are around 14000 channels of electronics. To measure time of flight of secondary particles from collision of heavy ions on the collider NICA the Time over Threshold (ToT) method is used. According to the bench tests the preamplifier board showed stable work and good time resolution <10 ps for one channel. It was also tested at the test beam facility of the Nuclotron. The time resolution of the TOF detector which used the described preamplifier was reached ~42 ps.  相似文献

A program of polarization studies is presented; this program can enhance our understanding of the constituents from which the spin of hadrons and lightest nuclei is constructed. Beams of polarized lightest nuclei at Nuclotron are required to complete this program. Calculations of linear resonance strengths at Nuclotron, which may result in depolarization effects, are presented. The application of a new method for conserving particle beam polarization at crossing these resonances at Nuclotron is discussed.  相似文献

为了在一次扫描质子核探针实验中能获取多种物理信息,研制了多功能信号探测与数据获取系统。系统由组合探测器、多站多参量数据采集与束流扫描、样品台控制与显微观测三个子系统组成。组合探测器包括了Si(Li)X射线探测器,高纯Geγ射线探测器,以及Au(Si)面垒带电粒子探测器,可完成多种物理参数的同时获取。系统的核心数据采集与束流扫描系统基于NI公司的PXI-7852R数据采集卡和LabVIEW软件平台,具备了多个物理信号采集、多能谱显示以及束流扫描和二维成像等功能。六轴高精度真空样品台由计算机控制,可实现显微图像对样品的定位及对扫描区域的可视化选择。初步实验验证了该系统的可靠性与稳定性。  相似文献

A system for in-situ Raman monitoring of thin film growth during Microwave Plasma Assisted Chemical Vapour Deposition (μPACVD) process was developed. Dedicated Raman probe system was designed for precise focusing of an excitation laser beam into the growing film. The probes have to be placed outside the reaction chamber (working distance about 20 cm) in order to avoid interference of the process by work of measurement devices (non-invasive measurements). Analysis and calculation supported by simulations based on Monte-Carlo ray-tracing method and Beam Propagation Method showed that glancing-incidence optical configuration is of the Raman system is the most sufficient one. Range of the most effective incidence angles of the excitation beam was determined. Shape and size of laser spot at the sample was determined. Correction of spherical aberrations by use of doublets was proposed to ensure efficient focusing of the excitation beam into the investigated film.  相似文献

A flatly topped circular beam (“top-hat beam”) is employed as the excitation beam for photothermal deflection and surface thermal lens techniques. The Fresnel diffraction model is applied to describe the photothermal signals. The theoretical comparison between a Gaussian beam and a top-hat beam excited photothermal signal amplitudes shows that the use of the top-hat beam excitation improves the measurement sensitivity of the photothermal techniques. Experimental results for both photothermal deflection and surface thermal lens are presented. The potential applications of the top-hat beam excited photothermal techniques are highlighted.  相似文献

Serial assembly and tests of dipole and quadrupole magnets of the NICA Booster have started at the Laboratory of High Energy Physics of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR). The accelerator is fitted with Nuclotron-type magnets with a superconducting winding and an iron yoke for shaping the needed magnetic field. The design of magnets for NICA was optimized (based on the experience gained in constructing and operating the JINR Nuclotron) for the production of magnetic fields of the required configuration in terms of the beam dynamics in the accelerator and the collider. Measurements of parameters of the field of each magnet are expected to be performed in the process of assembly and testing of each module of the magnet-cryostat system of the NICA Booster and Collider. The results of magnetic measurements for the NICA Booster dipole magnet are presented.  相似文献

This paper describes a method for reducing the influence of cascades on the measurement of electron excitation cross sections using the optical method and a fast beam atomic target. By using a fast beam of target atoms one can reduce the influence of cascades on a measurement, and estimate the cascade contribution to the excitation signal. 采用欠采样技术为中国散裂中子源(CSNS)直线加速器研制了全数字化束流相位测量电子学系统。介绍了该系统的测量原理、整体设计情况,并进行了实验测试。测试采用324 MHz,100 mVpp的正弦信号,测试结果显示相位分辨率优于0.1°,通道间相位不一致性可控制在±0.2°以内,满足设计指标要求。  相似文献

Investigation of time-of-flight spectra of excited krypton molecular ions observed under electron-beam bombardment of excitation tube electrodes is continued. Particular attention is focused on a study of the profile of the light signal produced in the dissociation of the molecular ions. An analysis of the light signal profile provides information on the processes involved in the formation and destruction of molecular ions. A model developed for these processes permitted calculation of the light signal profile. A comparison is made with experimental data on the spectral lines of krypton atoms and ions, whose excitation is caused by the destruction of the molecular ions.  相似文献

The main goal of the Nuclotron-M project, approved in 2007, was formulated as follows: modernization of the main accelerator systems for reliable and safe operation of the Nuclotron as a part of the accelerator facility NICA (Nuclotron-based Ion Collider Facility) being constructed at JINR. Demonstration of heavy-ion beam acceleration (with atomic mass number higher than 100) as well as safe and stable operation of the main superconducting system operation at a magnetic field of up to 2 T had been defined as criteria of successful project fulfillment. Another very important issue is performance of stable, long-term beam runs and increase of the accelerated beam intensity. All the main goals of the Nuclotron-M project had been successfully achieved by the end of 2010. In this report we give an overview of the project realization chronology and present the main experimental results obtained at LHEP Nuclotron accelerator facility in the period from 2007 to early 2011.  相似文献
