In this paper, we study the existence of positive solutions for singular impulsive differential equations with integral boundary conditions where the nonlinearity f(t,u,v) may be singular at u = 0 and v = 0. The proof is based on the theory of Leray–Schauder degree, together with a truncation technique. Some recent results in the literature are generalized and improved. Existence theory is developed for the equation ?(u)=F(u), where ? is a formally self-adjoint singular second-order differential expression and F is nonlinear. The problem is treated in a Hilbert space and we do not require the operators induced by ? to have completely continuous resolvents. Nonlinear boundary conditions are allowed. Also, F is assumed to be weakly continuous and monotone at one point. Boundary behavior of functions associated with the domains of definitions of the operators associated with ? in the singular case is investigated. A special class of self-adjoint operators associated with ? is obtained.  相似文献

Existence of solutions to the two-point boundary value problem (p(t)y')' = q(t)f(t, y,p(t)y'), y(l) = 0, limt→0+ p(t)y'(t) = 0 is established under a variety of conditions. Here p(0) = 0 is allowed, and q is not assumed to be continuous at 0, so the problem may be doubly singular. and give sufficient conditions for the existence of any number of symmetric positive solutions of (E)-(B). The relationships between the results in this paper and some recent work by Henderson and Thompson (Proc. Amer. Math. Soc. 128 (2000), 2373-2379) are discussed.

This paper focuses on solving the two point boundary value problem, in which boundary conditions are systems of nonlinear equations. The shooting method was used together with a combination of Newton’s method and Broyden’s method, to update the initial values of the differential equations. The experiments showed that the proposed method performed well, in the sense that the overall amount of work was less than that of the Newton Shooting method.  相似文献
