In this paper,a canonical ensemble model for black hole quantum tunneling radiation is introduced. We find that the probability distribution function is the same as the emission rate of a spherical shell in the Parikh-Wilczek tunneling framework. With this model, the probability distribution function corresponding to the emission shell system is calculated. Therefore, the concrete quantum tunneling spectrum of the Schwarzschild black hole is obtained.

Phase transition is important for understanding the nature and evolution of the black hole thermodynamic system. In this study, we predicted the phase transition of the third-order Lovelock black hole using the winding numbers in complex analysis, and qualitatively validated this prediction by the generalized free energy. For the 7<d<12-dimensional black holes in hyperbolic topology and the 7-dimensional black hole in spherical topology, the winding number obtained is three, which indicates that the system undergoes first-order and second-order phase transitions. For the 7<d<12-dimensional black holes in spherical topology, the winding number is four, and two scenarios of phase transitions exist, one involving a purely second-order phase transition and the other involving simultaneous first-order and second-order phase transitions. This result further deepens the research on black hole phase transitions using the complex analysis.

We study the absorption probability and Hawking radiation of the scalar field in a d-dimensional black hole with quantum correction arising from the polymer quantization. We find that the quantum length scale k (i.e., the bounce radius) modifies the standard results in greybody factors and Hawking radiation on the brane and into the bulk. For the black hole with the larger mass M the effects of the parameter k in the four-dimensional black hole spacetime are entirely different from those in the high dimensional cases. When the mass of black hole M becomes very small, we also find that only the sign of the change rate of the greybody factors on the brane with respect to the dimensional number depends sharply on the bounce radius k. These information can help us know more about the extra dimension and the black holes with quantum correction.

in the extended phase space, while there have been several studies on the black hole thermodynamics in the restricted phase space. In this paper, we analyze the topological properties of charged AdS black holes in the restricted phase space under the higher-dimension and higher-order curvature gravity frame. The results show that the topological number of the charged black hole in the same canonical ensembles is a constant and is independent of the concrete dual thermodynamical parameters. However, the topological number in the grand canonical ensemble is different from that in the canonical ensemble for the same black hole system. Furthermore, these results are independent of dimension d and highest order k of the Lanczos-Lovelock densities.

for a quantum corrected Schwarzschild black hole, finding that they violate universal inequalities proved for asymptotically flat black holes that satisfy the null energy condition in the framework of Einstein gravity. This violation seems to be a common phenomenon when considering quantum modification of Einstein gravity. Furthermore, we study the shadows, lensing rings, and photon rings in the quantum corrected Schwarzschild black hole. The violation leads to a larger bright lensing ring in the observational appearance of the thin disk emission near the black hole compared with the classical Schwarzschild black hole. Our analysis may provide observational evidence for the quantum effect of general relativity.

We extend the ideas introduced in the previous work to a more general space-time. In particular we consider the Kantowski-Sachs space time with space section with topology . In this way we want to study a general space time that we think to be the space time inside the horizon of a black hole. In this case the phase space is four dimensional and we simply apply the quantization procedure suggested by loop quantum gravity and based on an alternative to the Schroedinger representation introduced by H. Halvorson. Through this quantization procedure we show that the inverse of the volume density and the Schwarzschild curvature invariant are upper bounded and so the space time is singularity free. Also in this case we can extend dynamically the space time beyond the classical singularity.

This paper studies the thermodynamic properties of the Kerr-Sen black hole from the viewpoint of geometry. It calculates the temperature and heat capacity of the black hole,Weinhold metric and Ruppeiner metric are also obtained respectively. It finds that they are both curved and the curvature scalar of Weinhold curvature implies no information about the phase transition while the Ruppeiner one does. But they both carry no information about the second-order phase transition point reproduced from the capacity.Besides, the Legendre invariant metric of the Kerr-Sen black hole has been discussed and its scalar curvature gives the information about the second-order phase transition point.

It calculates the heat capacity and the temperature of the black hole, Weinhold metric and Ruppeiner metric are also obtained respectively. It finds that they are both curved and the scalar curvature of the Weinhold geometry consists with the first-order transition point reproduced from the capacity, while the Ruppeiner one is both in accordance with the first-order and the second-order phase transition points reproduced from the capacity.

We investigate thermodynamics of the (2 1)-dimensional AdS black hole in grand canonical ensemble. In the York‘s formalism, the black hole is enclosed in a “box“ with a finite radius and the boundary temperature, radius and potential are fixed in the grand canonical ensemble. We investigate the thermodynamical properties such as action, entropy, temperature, etc. We only find the stable solution for (2 1)-dimensional AdS black hole and do not find the instanton with the negative heat capacity.`` 相似文献
