The influence of the position of nitro group toward the carboxylic group on the vibration structure of the molecule was estimated. Optimized geometrical structures were calculated (HF, B3PW91, B3LYP). Experimental and theoretical FT‐IR, FT‐Raman, and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectra of the title compounds were recorded and analyzed. The most important vibrational bands of nitro and carboxyl groups and the benzene ring were assigned. Wavenumbers and intensities for the three acids studied were compared and discussed. Data of chemical shifts in 1H and 13C NMR spectra of 2‐, 3‐, and 4‐nitrobenzoic acids were analyzed in comparison with benzoic acid molecule. Preparation of Tetramethylammonium Azidosulfite and Tetramethylammonium Cyanate Sulfur Dioxide‐Adduct, [(CH3)4N]+[SO2N3], [(CH3)4N]+[SO2OCN] and Crystal Structure of [(CH3)4N]+[SO2N3] Tetramethylammonium azide forms with sulfur dioxide an azidosulfite salt. It is characterized by NMR and vibrational spectroscopy and the crystal structure analysis. [(CH3)4N]+[SO2N3] crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/c with a = 551.3(1) pm, b = 1095.2(1) pm, c = 1465.0(1) pm, β = 100.63(1)°, and four formula units in the unit cell. The crystal structure possesses a strong S–N interaction between the N3– anions and the SO2 molecules. The S–N distance of 200.5(2) pm is longer than a covalent single S–N bond. The structure is compared with ab initio calculated data. Furthermore an adduct of tetrametylammonium cyanate and sulfur dioxide is reported. It is characterised by NMR and vibrational spectroscopy. 13‐cis‐β,β‐Carotene, C40H56, crystallizes with a complete molecule in the asymmetric unit, whereas 15‐cis‐β,β‐carotene, also C40H56, has twofold symmetry about an axis through the central bond of the polyene chain. The polyene methyl groups are arranged on one side of the polyene chains for each molecule and the 6‐scisβ end groups, with the cyclohexene rings in half‐chair conformations, are twisted out of the planes of the polyene chains by angles ranging from 41.37 (17) to 52.2 (4)°. The molecules in each structure pack so that the arms of one occupy the cleft of the next, and there is significant π–π stacking of the almost‐parallel polyene chains of the 15‐cis isomer, which approach at distances of 3.319 (1)–3.591 (1) Å.  相似文献

N‐heterocyclic carbenes (NHCs) based on imidazole‐2‐ylidene ( 1 ) or the saturated imidazolidine‐2‐ylidene ( 2 ) scaffolds are long‐lived singlet carbenes. Both benefit from inductive stabilization of the sigma lone pair on carbon by neighboring N atoms and delocalization of the N pi lone pairs into the nominally vacant p‐pi atomic orbital at the carbene carbon. With thermochemical schemes G4 and CBS‐QB3, we estimate the relative thermodynamic stabilization of smaller ring carbenes and acyclic species which may share the keys to NHC stability. These include four‐membered ring systems incorporating the carbene center, two trivalent N centers, and either a boron or a phosphorus atom to complete the ring. Amino‐substituted cyclopropenylidenes have been reported but three‐membered rings containing the carbene center and two N atoms are not known. Our calculations suggest that amino‐substituted cyclopropenylidenes are comparable in stability to the four‐membered NHCs but that diazacyclopropanylidenes would be substantially less effectively stabilized. Concluding the series are acyclic carbenes with and without neighboring N atoms and a series of “two‐membered ring” azapropadienenylidene cations of form :C?N?W with W = an electron‐withdrawing agent. We have studied W = NO2, CH2(+), CF2(+), and (CN)2C(+). Although these systems display a degree of stabilization and carbene‐like electronic structure, the stability of the NHCs is unsurpassed. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.  相似文献

A highly regio‐ and enantioselective rhodium‐catalyzed 1,4‐addition of arylboronic acids to β,γ‐unsaturated α‐ketoamides using a simple new chiral sulfinylphosphine ligand is described. This transformation provides an attractive approach to construct chiral nonracemic γ,γ‐diarylsubstituted carbonyl compounds, as exemplified in the concise syntheses of sertraline and tetrahydroquinoline‐2‐carboxylamide.  相似文献

Three title compounds 4a—4c have been synthesized by the cyclodehydration of 1’-benzylidine-4’-(3β-substituted-5α-cholestane-6-yl)thiosemicarbazones 2a—2c with thioglycolic acid followed by the treatment with cold conc. H2SO4 in dioxane. The compounds 2a—2c were prepared by condensation of 3β-substituted-5α-cholestan- 6-one-thiosemicarbazones 1a—1c with benzaldehyde. These thiosemicarbazones 1a—1c were obtained by the reaction of corresponding 3β-substituted-5α-cholestan-6-ones with thiosemicarbazide in the presence of few drops of conc. HCl in methanol. The structures of the products have been established on the basis of their elemental, analytical and spectral data.  相似文献

Nucleophilic trifluoromethylation of α‐imino ketones 2 , derived from arylglyoxal, with RuppertPrakash reagent (CF3SiMe3) offers a convenient access to the corresponding O‐silylated β‐imino‐α‐(trifluoromethyl) alcohols. In a ‘one‐pot’ procedure, by treatment with NaBH4, these products smoothly undergo reduction and desilylation yielding the expected β‐amino‐α‐(trifluoromethyl) alcohols 4 . The latter were used as starting materials for the synthesis of diverse trifluoromethylated heterocycles, including aziridines 5 , 1,3‐oxazolidines 8 , 1,3‐oxazolidin‐2‐ones 9 , 1,3,2‐oxazaphospholidine 2‐oxides 10 , 1,2,3‐oxathiazolidine 2‐oxides 11 , and morpholine‐2,3‐diones 12 . An optically active 5‐(trifluoromethyl)‐substituted 1,3‐oxazolidin‐2‐one 9g was also obtained.  相似文献

Enantioselective conjugate reduction of a wide range of α,β‐unsaturated carboxylic esters was achieved using chiral Ir N,P complexes as hydrogenation catalysts. Depending on the substitution pattern of the substrate, different ligands perform best. α,β‐Unsaturated carboxylic esters substituted at the α position are less problematic substrates than originally anticipated and in some cases α‐substituted substrates actually reacted with higher enantioselectivity than their β‐substituted analogues. The resulting saturated esters with a stereogenic center in the α or β position were obtained in high enantiomeric purity.  相似文献

Although many chiral catalysts are known that allow highly enantioselective hydrogenation of a wide range of olefins, no suitable catalysts for the asymmetric hydrogenation of α,β‐unsaturated nitriles have been reported so far. We have found that Ir N,P ligand complexes, which under normal conditions do not show any reactivity towards α,β‐unsaturated nitriles, become highly active catalysts upon addition of N,N‐diisopropylethylamine. The base‐activated catalysts enable conjugate reduction of α,β‐unsaturated nitriles with H2 at low catalyst loadings, affording the corresponding saturated nitriles with high conversion and excellent enantioselectivity. In contrast, alkenes lacking a conjugated cyano group do not react under these conditions, making it possible to selectively reduce the conjugated C?C bond of an α,β‐unsaturated nitrile, while leaving other types of C?C bonds in the molecule intact.  相似文献
