LiNbO3 films were epitaxially grown on c-sapphire substrates using oxygen radical-assisted laser molecular beam epitaxy (MBE). X-ray diffraction-based structural analysis showed that the films were epitaxial. Triple-axis rocking curve measurements of the LiNbO3 (0 0 0 6) reflection revealed that the film was highly c-oriented with an extremely narrow mosaic; the full width at half maximum of the LiNbO3 (0 0 0 6) rocking curve was 0.0036°, comparable to the value of high-quality bulk crystals. The surface of the film was very smooth, with a surface roughness r.m.s. value, measured by atomic force microscope, of 0.4 nm for a film of thickness 15 nm. The chemical composition of the film measured by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) was stoichiometric within the accuracy of XPS measurement. 相似文献

The propagation of LaMnO3 laser ablation plume in oxygen background has been investigated using fast photography of overall visible plume emission and time-resolved optical emission spectroscopy. The plume expansion was studied with ambient oxygen pressures ranging from vacuum level to 100 Pa. Free-expansion, splitting, sharpening and stopping of the plume were observed at different pressures and time delays after the laser pulse. Time-resolved optical emission spectroscopy showed that oxides are mainly formed through reaction of the atomic species ablated from the target with oxygen in the gas-phase. These reactions mainly affect the content of lanthanum oxide in the plume, while emission of manganese oxide is barely observed in all the range of pressure investigated. 相似文献

We report on the spatial and temporal evolution of the plume generated during ultrafast laser ablation of a pure copper target with 800 nm, ≈50 fs, Ti: Sapphire laser pulses. Time-gated imaging was used to record 2-dimensional images of plume populations. The temporal evolution of neutral (Cu*), and ionic (Cu+) components of the plume are separately imaged by exploiting bandpass interference filters, while nanoparticles are investigated by collecting their characteristic broadband emission. The ionic component of the plume moves two to three times faster than the neutral component, with a velocity which is almost independent of laser fluence. Plume emission intensity variations at different fluences and delay times are studied for both atomic and nanoparticle components. 相似文献

The structure of a strip LiNbO3 waveguide clad with a planar LiNbOa waveguide is proposed to fabricate a long-period waveguide grating (LPWG). It is shown theoretically that an LPWG device based on such a special LiNbOa waveguide structure is of the merit of thermal stability. The methods for fabrication of planar waveguide, channel waveguide and grating are suggested and discussed. Detailed design consideration is exemplified based on a soft-proton-exchange planar waveguide clad Ti-diffused LiNbOa (Z-cut) strip waveguide. 相似文献

We report a femtosecond optical parametric oscillator based on MgO-doped PPLN synchronously pumped by a mode-locked Ti:sapphire laser. The wavelengths of the signal and idler are continuously tuned from 1100 to 1300hm and from 2080 to 2930nm, respectively, by changing the pump wavelength and the OPO cavity length. The maximum signal output power of 130mW at the wavelength of 1225nm is obtained, pumped by 900roW of 800hm laser radiation. This corresponds to a total conversion efficiency of 22.1%. The signal pulse duration is measured to be 167fs by intensity autocorrelation with chirped mirrors for intracavity dispersion compensation. 相似文献

The possibilities of pulsed laser single ablation (PLSA) from the frozen target materials, such as inert gases (Ar, Kr, Xe), N2 and CH4, using KrF excimer and YAG(SHG) lasers have been investigated. The single ablations were realized by the pulsed YAG(SHG) laser in a relatively short time, but the KrF excimer laser was unsuccessful. As an example of the application of pulsed laser co-ablation (PLCA) of the frozen target, polycrystalline hexagonal SiC films were formed without any post-thermal annealing by using frozen CH4 on Si targets. The films, however, contain splashing Si particles. On the other hand, the PLSA method, using a mixture of frozen N2 and CH4 targets, enabled the formation of amorphous C-N films without splashing particles. 相似文献

利用时空分辨的测量技术,测定了XeCl紫外激光烧蚀金属Cu消融粒子的发射光谱随时间与空间的强度分布。通过在不同的氢气压强下拍摄到的XeCl308nm紫外激光烧蚀金属Cu消融粒子的发光羽照片,发现激光消融粒子发光羽的颜色在不同区域有不同的颜色,不同区域的发光羽颜色随环境气压的改变而变化。随环境气压的增大,发光羽不仅逐渐变小,而且逐渐变淡。对激光消融粒子发光羽的机理进行了探讨,激光消融粒子发光羽的发光动力学模式在不同区域有不同的发光模式,且随环境气压的变化而改变。定性地解释了所观察的实验现象。 相似文献

We observed very intense and highly reproducible photoluminescence (PL) spectra for SiOx films obtained by laser ablation of Si targets in 50-mTorr oxygen gas followed by proper annealing. It was found that the PL peak continuously changes from 1.4 eV at the center of the samples to 1.8 eV at the sample edge. The optimum values of the oxygen component in SiOx was x=1.3-1.4 and the optimum annealing temperature was 1000 °C for intense PL. From transmission electron microscopy images of annealed films, Si nanocrystallites are found to be formed in the matrix of SiO2 grown from the SiOx and have diameters of 2-3 nm. These indicate that a high density of Si nanocrystallites with diameters of 2-3 nm in the SiO2 phase are probably responsible for the PL and that the Si nanostructure is well formed from the as-deposited, metastable SiOx (x=1.3-1.4) films by annealing at 1000 °C. 相似文献

We report an experimental analysis of the plasma plume produced during ultrafast laser ablation of a copper target, in high vacuum. The plasma plume optical emission is studied by using a hybrid time-gated imaging technique which allows obtaining simultaneous information on the spectral and spatial characteristics of the emitting species. We investigated the structural properties of LaNiO3 thin films of three different thicknesses deposited by pulsed laser deposition on Si(001) mainly by using a synchrotron X-ray scattering measurement. The LaNiO3 thin films were grown with the (00l) preferred growth direction, showing completely random distribution in the in-plane direction. In the early stage of the growth, the film was almost unstrained. However, as the film grew further, tensile strain was markedly involved. Also its surface became rougher but its crystalline quality improved significantly with increasing film thickness. A completely (00l)-oriented (Pb0.4Zr0.6)TiO3 thin film was successfully grown on such a LaNiO3/Si(001) substrate at a substrate temperature of 350 °C by using the same pulsed laser deposition. Our results show that the LaNiO3 film can serve effectively as a bottom electrode layer for the preparation of a well-oriented (Pb0.4Zr0.6)TiO3 thin film on Si substrates. 相似文献

In this study, the pulsed laser ablation of RuO2 and SrRuO3 (SRO) is investigated by observing the fluorescence from excited atoms in the plume by using a framing streak camera. Vaporization, phase explosion and boiling are suggested to play the main roles in the processes for the interaction between the laser beam and target. Collisions and adiabatic expansion are also suggested before particles move forward with shifted Maxwellian spatial distribution. In O2 pressure, numerous collisions between fast and slow atoms occur and result in the exchange of speeds. The structural and electrical (conductivity and work-function) properties of RuO2 and SRO thin films are measured. Epitaxial SRO growth was obtained at growth temperatures down to 350 °C. Ferroelectric and high- dielectric thin-film capacitors with RuO2 or SRO thin film electrode are also studied. 相似文献

在室温下通过外加电场极化法,首次用较低的极化开关电场~5.5 kV/mm,在厚为1 mm、长为20 mm、宽为18 mm的掺镁铌酸锂基片上成功的制备了周期为4.8~5.2 μm的一阶准相位匹配倍频光学微结构;并在室温下,以波长为980 nm的半导体激光器为基频光源,对所研制的微结构样品进行倍频通光实验,在入射基频光为800 mW时,产生约40 mW的490 nm的倍频光,其对应转换效率为5%,实验过程中未见绿致吸收光折变现象. 相似文献
