基于双电源电压和双阈值电压技术,提出了一种优化全局互连性能的新方法.文中首先定义了一个包含互连延时、带宽和功耗等因素的品质因子用以描述全局互连特性,然后在给定延时牺牲的前提下,通过最大化品质因子求得优化的双电压数值用以节省功耗.仿真结果显示,在65 nm工艺下,针对5%,10%和20%的允许牺牲延时,所提方法相较于单电压方法可分别获得27.8%,40.3%和56.9%的功耗节省.同时发现,随着工艺进步,功耗节省更加明显.该方法可用于高性能全局互连的优化和设计. 关键词: 全局互连 双电源电压 双阈值电压 功耗  相似文献

We propose an asymmetrical Mach–Zehnder interferometer (MZI) for efficient pulse generation and compression using porous silicon (PS) waveguide, fibre delay line and couplers. We show a pulse compression of about 0.4 ns at the output port with third-order super-Gaussian input pulse in ~2 ns time duration and ~40.3 W peak power level. Also, we show the possibility of obtaining compressed single- or double-pulse with judicious choice of various parameters like input peak power, delay time and input pulse width.  相似文献

The near- and far-field propagation of initially super-Gaussian field distributions is discussed. upon propagation, the beam profile is shown to undergo distortions of a magnitude which increases with the super-Gaussian order. These distortions can lead to a significant increase of the on-axis intensity in the near-field. The beam quality, evaluated both in terms of the beam parameter product and theM 2 factor, is shown to decrease as the super-Gaussian order gets larger. These calculations also illustrate the difficulties associated with theM 2 factor when characterizing the propagation of a beam with increasingly sharp edges. The effect of the transmission of the super-Gaussian field through a super-Gaussian graded-reflectivity mirror (GRM) is also discussed. The results of this study have direct implication in the domain of GRM resonator design.  相似文献

The spatial chirp generated in the Ti:sapphire multipass amplifier is numerically investigated based on the onedimensional(1D) and two-dimensional(2D) Frantz–Nodvik equations. The simulation indicates that the spatial chirp is induced by the spatially inhomogeneous gain, and it can be almost eliminated by utilization of proper beam profiles and spot sizes of the signal and pump pulses, for example, the pump pulse has a top-hatted beam profile and the signal pulse has a super-Gaussian beam profile with a relatively larger spot size. In this way, a clear understanding of spatial chirp mechanisms in the Ti:sapphire multipass amplifier is proposed, therefore we can effectively almost eliminate the spatial chirp and improve the beam quality of a high-power Ti:sapphire chirped pulse amplifier system.  相似文献

We derived the theoretical results of soliton interactions in optical fiber with super-Gaussian slidingfrequency filters. The results demonstrate that the interactions between optical fiber solitons can be effectively suppressed by super-Gaussian sliding-frequency filters. And the results also show that the super-Gaussian filter with sliding is more effective in suppressing soliton interactions than that without sliding.  相似文献

非对称切趾对啁啾光纤光栅特性优化的分析   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
基于对啁啾光纤布拉格光栅反射谱和时延曲线的分析,引入非对称切趾技术。综合时延曲线纹波和反射谱纹波平滑两方面考虑,将对称切趾技术的最佳切趾比例、左移和右移两种非对称切趾技术以及采用不同切趾函数对光纤光栅特性参量的优化效果进行了分析和比较。结果表明,与对称切趾相比,左移非对称切趾可避免对称切趾中为增大反射谱带宽而减小切趾比例使时延纹波增大的缺点,在保持反射谱纹波基本不变的前提下将时延曲线纹波降低了43.5%(与实验结果39.9%相吻合)。此外,与仅用汉明函数切趾相比,光纤光栅左端采用超高斯函数、右端采用汉明函数的非对称切趾方式使反射谱平坦部分纹波减小了89.3%,对应的时延曲线拟合误差减小了16.7%,获得了更好的优化效果。  相似文献

We have set up a novel system for shaping the Gaussian laser beams into super-Gaussian beams.The digital micro-mirror device(DMD)is able to modulate the laser light spatially through binary-amplitude modulation mechanism.With DMD,the irradiance of the laser beam can be redistributed flexibly and various beams with different intensity distribution can be produced.A super-Gaussian beam has been successfully shaped from the Gaussian beam with the use of DMD.This technique will be widely applied in lithography,quantum emulation and holographic optical tweezers which require precise control of beam profile.  相似文献

Based on the Collins formula and irradiance moments definition, the propagation of the kurtosis parameter of super-Gaussian beams through a spherically aberrated lens is studied. Detailed numerical results are given. It is shown that, as compared with aberration-free super-Gaussian beams, the profile of spherically aberrated super-Gaussian beams can be leptokurtic, mesokurtic or platykurtic, depending on the aberration and propagation distance. The results for the spherically aberrated Gaussian beams can be dealt with as a special case treated in this paper. Finally, the advantage of our method is pointed out.  相似文献

A modified Gerchberg-Saxton algorithm, which we call symmetrical iterative Fourier transform algorithm, is presented and employed to a series of super-Gaussian beam shaping problems and arbitrary beam shaping problems. The main features of this algorithm include (1) using an amplitude-symmetric function of the failed result about the Fourier-domain constraint; (2) using both phase and amplitude freedoms in the iteration process, i.e. the noise produced outside the signal window by each iteration is kept. A formula is given to determine a critical constant in the search for the amplitude-symmetric function. The new method results in highly efficient solutions with highly precise beam profiles in the signal window for all the test problems.  相似文献

研究了超高斯涡旋光束光强最大值、光斑半径以及环围能量半径等参数随传输距离和拓扑荷数的变化规律,并与高斯涡旋光束做了比较,结果表明:超高斯涡旋光束的光斑半径和环围能量半径随拓扑荷数及传输距离呈近似线性关系;对同一拓扑荷数和传输距离,高斯涡旋光束的能量较超高斯涡旋光束要发散;当拓扑荷数较大时,超高斯涡旋光束的光斑半径比高斯涡旋光束更大。针对光束质量研究了广义光束质量因子随传输距离和拓扑荷数的变化,结果表明传输距离足够远时,拓扑荷数较小的超高斯涡旋光束具有更好的光束质量。  相似文献

 将液晶空间光调制器用于超高斯种子脉冲光谱整形,重点分析了调制器参数对压缩脉冲信噪比的影响,以此为依据对其结构参数进行优化设计,以降低其影响。对整形、放大及压缩过程的理论模拟表明:应用液晶空间光调制器进行光谱整形时,能够有效克服钕玻璃啁啾脉冲放大系统的非线性效应,在放大器输出端保持原始光谱宽度,但液晶空间光调制器对光谱的调制作用使压缩脉冲信噪比降低。  相似文献

The frequency characteristics of free oscillation magnetron(FOM) and injection-locked magnetron(ILM) are theoretically investigated.By using the equal power voltage obtained from the experiment data,expressions of the frequency and radio frequency(RF) voltage of FOM and ILM,as well as the locking bandwidth,on the anode voltage and magnetic field are derived.With the increase of the anode voltage and the decrease of the magnetic field,the power and its growth rate increase,while the frequency increases and its growth rate decreases.The theoretical frequency and power of FOM agree with the particle-in-cell(PIC) simulation results.Besides,the theoretical trends of the power and frequency with the anode voltage and magnetic field are consistent with the experimental results,which verifies the accuracy of the theory.The theory provides a novel calculation method of frequency characteristics.It can approximately analyze the power and frequency of both FOM and ILM,which promotes the industrial applications of magnetron and microwave energy.  相似文献

We have presented the far-field spectral behaviour of a super-Gaussian pulse diffracted through a rectangular aperture. It has been found that the on-axis modified power spectrum is always blue shifted, whose value increases with the increase in the value of the super-Gaussian parameter (m). For off-axis case, at some critical angle of diffraction, the diffraction induced far-field power spectrum is split into two lines of equal height. The far-field power spectrum is blue shifted when the diffraction angle is greater than the critical angle, whereas it is red shifted when the diffraction angle is less than the critical angle, i.e., spectral switching occurs. The critical angle for switching significantly increases with the increase in the super-Gaussian parameter (m). An important finding is that the switching frequency, the blue and red shift frequencies can be tuned by varying m.  相似文献

We describe a multi-layer (“sandwich”) configuration detector consisting of two x-ray imaging flat-panel detectors for single-shot (single-kV) dual-energy imaging. An intermediate copper filter is used to increase spectral separation between the two detectors to improve contrast at the expense of image noise. Monte Carlo and cascaded-systems analyses of the signal and noise performance are described that quantify performance characteristics. Image quality of dual-energy images obtained from a prototype sandwich-detector system is evaluated using a figure of merit (FOM), defined as the squared contrast-to-noise ratio normalized by x-ray exposure for a mouse phantom for preclinical imaging. Demonstration dual-energy bone and soft-tissues images of a postmortem mouse are obtained using the prototype system. While the FOM with the single-shot detector is lower than that achieved using a conventional dual-shot (dual-kV) method, the single-shot approach may be preferable when imaging speed or insensitivity to motion artifacts is a primary concern.  相似文献

We study the thermoelectric effect in a small quantum dot with a magnetic impurity in the Coulomb blockade regime.The electrical conductance,thermal conductance,thermopower,and the thermoelectrical figure of merit(FOM)are calculated by using Green’s function method.It is found that the peaks in the electrical conductance are split by the exchange coupling between the electron entering into the dot and the magnetic impurity inside the dot,accompanied by the decrease in the height of peaks.As a result,the resonances in the thermoelectric quantities,such as the thermal conductance,thermopower,and the FOM,are all split,opening some effective new working regions.Despite of the significant reduction in the height of the electrical conductance peaks induced by the exchange coupling,the values of the FOM and the thermopower can be as large as those in the case of zero exchange coupling.We also find that the thermoelectric efficiency,characterized by the magnitude of the FOM,can be enhanced by adjusting the left–right asymmetry of the electrode–dot coupling or by optimizing the system’s temperature.  相似文献

Using a spot size based optimization technique, a bend loss versus dispersion diagram has been obtained theoretically for the most widely used step-index disper sion compensated optical fibers (DCF). The Rayleigh scattering loss can be incorpo rated with bend loss to calculate figure of merit (FOM), thus giving an FOM versus dispersion curve on a single diagram. The plot of the FOM-dispersion curve on a single diagram is useful from the designer's point of view, as it provides a quick reference for choosing the best suitable DCF, which should have large negative dispersion as well as maximum possible value of FOM. The effect of fiber manufac turing losses such as absorption loss on the maximum value of FOM has also been estimated.  相似文献

本文首次提出了适用于微弱信号提取的盲源分离算法,这种方法是在常用的自然梯度串行更新算法基础上采用了有监督的机制。通过观察两个信号互相关的程度自动判别激活函数的种类,实现了超高斯亚高斯强弱信号混合下的盲源分离。信号仿真表明,有监督的盲源分离技术收敛速度较快,精度较高。  相似文献
