We present a noncommutative version of the Ablowitz-Kaup-Newell-Segur (AKNS) equation hierarchy, which possesses the zero curvature representation. Furthermore, we derive the noncommutative AKNS equation from the noncommutative (anti-)self-dual Yang-Mills equation by reduction, which is an evidence for the noncommutative Ward conjecture. Finally, the integrable coupling system of the noncommutative AKNS equation hierarchy is constructed by using the Kronecker product.  相似文献

In this Letter, we consider the derivatives and integrals of fractional order and present a class of the integrable coupling system of the fractional order soliton equations. The fractional order coupled Boussinesq and KdV equations are the special cases of this class. Furthermore, the fractional AKNS soliton equation hierarchy is obtained.  相似文献

A modified Korteweg-de Vries (mKdV) lattice is found to be also a discrete Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) equation. A discrete coupled system is derived from the single lattice equation and its Lax pair is proposed. The coupled system is shown to be related to the coupled KdV and coupled mKdV systems which are widely used in physics.  相似文献

In [W.X. Ma, J. Phys. A: Math. Theor. 40 (2007) 15055], Prof. Ma gave a beautiful result (a discrete variational identity). In this Letter, based on a discrete block matrix spectral problem, a new hierarchy of Lax integrable lattice equations with four potentials is derived. By using of the discrete variational identity, we obtain Hamiltonian structure of the discrete soliton equation hierarchy. Finally, an integrable coupling system of the soliton equation hierarchy and its Hamiltonian structure are obtained through the discrete variational identity.  相似文献

We discuss the motions of curves by introducing an extra spatial variable or equivalently, moving surfaces in arffine geometries. It is shown that the 2 +1-dimensional breaking soliton equation and a 2 + 1-dimensional nonlinear evolution equation regarded as a generalization to the 1 + 1-dimensional KdV equation arise from such motions.  相似文献

A truncation for the Laurent series in the Padnleve analysis of the KdV equation is restudied. When the truncation occurs the singular manifold satisfies two compatible fourth-order PDEs, which are homogeneous of degree 3. Both of the PDEs can be factored in the operator sense. The common factor is a third-order PDE, which is homogeneous of degree 2. The first few Invariant manifolds of the third-order PDE are studied. We find that the invariant manifolds of the third-order PDE can be obtained by factoring the invariant manifolds of the KdV equation. A numerical solution of the third-order PDE facts about the third-order PDE. is also presented. The solution reveals some interesting  相似文献

First, a new multi-component modified Kadomtsev-Petviashvill (mKP) spectral problem is constructed by k-constraint imposed on a general pseudo-differential operator. Then, two hierarchies of multi-component mKP equations are derived, including positive non-isospectral mKP hierarchy and negative non-isospectral mKP hierarchy. Taking into account many developments in fiber optics communications, we propose a higher nonlinear Schrödinger equation (HNLS) with variable coefficients, more general than that in [R. Essiambre, G.P. Agrawal, Opt. Commun. 131 (1996) 274], which governs the propagation of ultrashort pulses in a fiber optics with generic variable dispersion. The study of this equation is performed using the Painlevé test and the zero-curvature method. Also, we prove the equivalence between this equation and its anomalous integrable counterpart (the so-called Sasa-Satsuma equation). Finally, in view of its physical relevance, we present a soliton solution which represents the propagation of ultrashort pulses in a dispersion decreasing fiber.  相似文献

An integrable coupling family of Merola-Ragnisco-Tu lattice systems is derived from a four-by-four matrix spectral problem. The Hamiltonian structure of the resulting integrable coupling family is established by the discrete variational identity. Each lattice system in the resulting integrable coupling family is proved to be integrable discrete Hamiltonian system in Liouville sense. Ultimately, a nonisospectral integrable lattice family associated with the resulting integrable lattice family is constructed through discrete zero curvature representation.  相似文献
