Two polarization phenomena in Compton scattering by polarized electrons were investigated. In the first experiment, the rotation of the polarization plane of photons passing through magnetized iron and gadolinium was measured. This effect arises from a spin dependence of the Compton forward scattering amplitude. For 228 and 333 keV photons and iron absorbers, the observed rotation angles areφ 0=(3.90±0.57) ×10?3 rad · cm?2 and (4.75±0.58)×10?3 rad · cm?2, respectively. Secondly, the orientation of the photon polarization plane after scattering of unpolarized photons by polarized electrons was measured. This experiment tests time reversal invariance in quantum electrodynamics. No dependence of the polarization plane on the direction of the electron spin was found within 2×10?3.  相似文献

An experimental method for the compensation of the noise originated by the laser ray angular oscillations was proposed and experimentally proved for the Precision Laser Inclinometer (PLI). The PLI noise spectral density was reduced by factor 30× and reached 10–8 rad/Hz1/2 level at the frequency of 5 × 10–5 Hz. The angular noise of a laser ray leaving the one-mode optical fiber in the vacuum and in stabilized temperature conditions has been measured. The amplitude of the oscillations for one-day observation reached 0.46 μrad.  相似文献

In this report a high accuracy method for an interferometric calibration of the Precision Laser Inclinometer (PLI) is proposed. The method is based on the simultaneous measurement of: (a) the PLI base calibration slope (angle), set by a piezoelectric positioner, via laser interferometry and (b) the PLI response signal. A calibration coefficient of 322.5 ± 1.9 μrad/V has been determined experimentally in an interval [4 × 10–7, 4 × 10–6] rad in which there is a linear dependence between the PLI-signal and the calibration angle.  相似文献

Abstract

The effects of three systems on the chemiluminescence (CL) intensity have been studied in this paper, such as leucogen–potassium permanganate–rhodamine B, leucogen–cerium (IV)–rhodamine B, and leucogen–luminol–hydrogen peroxide (called system 1, system 2, and system 3, respectively). The mechanism of these reactions is also discussed. Surfactant (CTMAB) has a remarkably sensitive effect on these systems mentioned above. Therefore, three new flow injection chemiluminescence methods for the determination of leucogen have been established. For system 1, the linear range is 8.0×10?8 to 4.0×10?5 g mL?1, with limits of detection 2×10?8 g mL?1; the relative standard deviation is 2.5% (n=11, Cs=4.0×10?6 g mL?1). For system 2, the linear range is 1.0×10?8 to 5.0×10?6 g mL?1, with limits of detection 3×10?9 g mL?1; the relative standard deviation is 5.1% (n=11, Cs=1.0×10?6 g mL?1). For system 3, the linear range is 4.0×10?8 to 2.0×10?6 g mL?1, with limits of detection 1×10?8 g mL?1; the relative standard deviation is 1.3% (n=11, Cs=1.0×10?7 g mL?1). Compared with the three methods above, system 3 is confirmed as the best method. This method has been applied to the determination of leucogen with satisfactory results.  相似文献

In this paper, a new optical material application and a heterodyne interferometer are proposed for measuring small angles. In the proposed interferometer, the optical material is a (1 0 0) silicon wafer applied to compose a new architecture of small angle sensor. The small angle measurement used the phase difference which is dependent on the incident angle at the silicon wafer surface to deduce the angular variation. The proposed architecture is simple and uses the common path method to compare test and reference signals; thus, small angles can be easily and accurately measured by estimating the phase difference. The experimental results demonstrate the feasibility of this method. The angular resolution and sensitivity levels superior to 7 × 10?5° (1.3 × 10?6 rad) and 150 (deg/deg), respectively, were attainable in a dynamic range of 0.45°.  相似文献

A highly sensitive chemiluminescence (CL) method for the determination of nitrofurans (NFs) was developed based on the enhancement of CL intensity of luminol–H2O2–NFs system by silver nanoparticles (AgNPs). It was supposed that the oxygen-related radicals of OH and superoxide radical (O2?) could be produced when NFs reacted with H2O2. Furthermore, the enhancement mechanism was originated from the reinforcer of AgNPs, which could catalyze the generation of the OH radical. Then OH radicals reacted with luminol anion and HO2? to form luminol radical (L?) and O2?. The excited state 3-aminophthalate anion was obtained in the reaction of L? and O2?, which was the emitter (luminophor) in the luminol–H2O2 CL reaction system and the maximal emission of the CL spectrum was at 425 nm. The experiments of scavenging oxygen-related radicals were done to confirm these reactive oxygen species participated in the CL reaction. The limits of detection (LOD) (S/N=3) were 8×10?7 g mL?1 for furacilin, 8×10?8 g mL?1 for furantoin, 4×10?8 g mL?1 for furazolidone and 2×10?7 g mL?1 for furaltadone. The proposed method was successfully applied to the determination of NFs in feeds and pharmaceutical samples.  相似文献

Rotation of the spin of cold neutrons passing through a noncentrosymmetric single crystal is observed. This effect is caused by the Schwinger interaction of the magnetic moment of a moving neutron with the crystalline electric field in a noncentrosymmetric single crystal and depends both on the direction of neutron trajectory in the crystal and on its energy. It is shown that the characteristic magnitude of the effect for α-quartz is ?(1–2)×10?4 rad/cm over a wide wavelength range (from 2.8 to 5.5 Å) and is determined by the degree of beam monochromaticity [Δλ/λ=(2–5)×10?2 in our experiment]. This magnitude corresponds to an electric field of ?(0.5–1)×105 V/cm acting on a neutron. The measured value agrees well with the theoretical calculation.  相似文献

A novel biosensor has been constructed by incorporating modified nanosized natural zeolite and 3-hydroxypropanaminium acetate (HPAA) as a novel room temperature ionic liquid, supported on multiwalled carbon nanotube (MWCNTs) and employed for the simultaneous determination of dopamine (DA) and uric acid (UA). A detailed investigation by transmission electron microscopy and electrochemistry is performed in order to elucidate the preparation process and properties of the composites. The voltammetric studies using the modified carbon paste electrode show two well-resolved anodic peaks for DA and UA with a potential difference of 160 mV, revealing the possibility of the simultaneous electrochemical detection of these compounds. The modified carbon paste electrode shows good conductivity, stability, and extraction effect due to the synergic action of HPAA, MWCNTs, and iron ion-doped natrolite zeolite. Under optimized conditions, the peak currents are linear from 8.12?×?10?7 to 3.01?×?10?4?mol?L?1 and from 9.31?×?10?7 to 3.36?×?10?4?mol?L?1 with detection limits of 1.16?×?10?7 and 1.33?×?10?7?mol?L?1 for DA and UA using the differential pulse voltammetric method, respectively. Finally, the modified carbon paste electrode proved to have good sensitivity and stability and is successfully applied for the simultaneous determination of DA and UA in human blood serum and urine samples.  相似文献

The monochromaticity of the Smith-Purcell optical radiation generated by a 75-keV electron beam with a final emittance of ε = 0.65 × 10?4 mm rad that passes over a grating with a period of D = 0.833 μm has been analyzed. It has been shown that the monochromaticity of Smith-Purcell radiation is determined not only by the angular aperture of a monochromator but also by the divergence of the electron beam.  相似文献

The formation period time, current rise time, and photon energy of FXR discharges have been investigated at initial pressures of 5×10?6 to 1×10?2Torr. It has been found that the parameters studied are almost constant between 5×10?6 and 1×10?3Torr. The results obtained indicate that the upper limit of the interelectrode breakdown pressure is about 10?3 Torr when the initial pressure is 10?6 Torr.  相似文献

The inelastic scattering of long wavelength neutrons from coherently scattering metals has been used to examine the collective motions of atoms in the liquid state and to make comparisons with the polycrystalline solids. Well-defined peaks in the velocity spectra of the scattered neutrons have been found in both states for lead, rubidium, tin, bismuth and aluminium. These have been used to present parts of the dispersion curves for vibrational modes of motion in the frequency range 1 to 20 × 1012 rad/sec and wave number range 1 to 3 Å?1, and to estimate lifetimes of the modes of the order 0.4 × 10?12 sec in the solid near the melting point and roughly half these values in the liquid.

In polycrystalline aluminium the major contribution to the observed intensity in the solid is due to transverse modes and the observed similarity of the liquid and solid spectra suggests that transverse motions are observed in the liquid also.  相似文献

In this article, a novel chemiluminescence method using water-soluble CdS quantum dots (QDs) as sensitizers is proposed for the chemiluminometric determination of epinephrine. The method is based on the quenching effect of epinephrine on the chemiluminescence emission generated by the mixing of CdS quantum dots (QDs) with hydrogen carbonate (HCO3 -) in the presence of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) in an alkaline medium. The optimization of variables influencing the chemiluminescence response of the method has been carried out by using experimental design. Under the optimal conditions, there is good linear relationship between the relative chemiluminescence intensity and the concentration of epinephrine over the range of 5?×?10?9–1?×?10?6?molL?1 with a 3σ detection limit of 5?×?10?11?molL?1. The method has been successfully applied to the determination of epinephrine in pharmaceutical formulation and the recovery test was done in human urine.  相似文献

Application of a fibre-optic Sagnac interferometer as a rotational seismometer is presented in this paper. It is a new device which parameters (sensitivity equal to 4.3×10−8 rad/s for 2σ) are comparable with the parameters of typical mechanical rotational seismometers. However, a direct measurement of rotation without influence of linear motions for fibre-optic rotational seismometer designed it for a direct measurement of a ground rotation component. Experimental data obtained during simultaneous application of the above two types of sensors are also presented. Research of near-field seismic events, the amplitude of which has been identified in the range of 1.5×10−6 rad/s to 2×10−7 rad/s, shows directly that, so-called, seismic rotational waves exist independently of typical seismic waves generated during earthquakes.  相似文献

Swift heavy ion (SHI) irradiation has been used as a tool to enhance the electrochemical properties of ionic liquid-based nanocomposite polymer electrolytes dispersed with dedoped polyaniline (PAni) nanorods; 100 MeV Si9+ ions with four different fluences of 5?×?1010, 1?×?1011, 5?×?1011, and 1?×?1012 ions cm?2 have been used as SHI. XRD results depict that with increasing ion fluence, crystallinity decreases due to chain scission up to fluence of 5?×?1011 ions cm?2, and at higher fluence, crystallinity increases due to cross-linking of polymer chains. Ionic conductivity, electrochemical stability, and dielectric properties are enhanced with increasing ion fluence attaining maximum value at the fluence of 5?×?1011 ions cm?2 and subsequently decrease. Optimum ionic conductivity of 1.5?×?10?2 S cm?1 and electrochemical stability up to 6.3 V have been obtained at the fluence of 5?×?1011 ions cm?2. Ac conductivity studies show that ion conduction takes place through hopping of ions from one coordination site to the other. On SHI irradiation, amorphicity of the polymer matrix increases resulting in increased segmental motion which facilitates ion hopping leading to an increase in ionic conductivity. Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) measurements show that SHI-irradiated nanocomposite polymer electrolytes are thermally stable up to 240–260 °C.  相似文献

Full-scale atomistic simulations by the nudged elastic band method are performed to determine the energetics and core structures of dislocations in a Ni lattice using an embedded-atom method potential. We find that for an edge dislocation, the potential yields very weak coupling between the partials which move almost individually. For a screw dislocation, the coupling between the partials is somewhat stronger and the partials move with some dependence. As expected, the results indicate that stacking fault energy has a controlling influence on the coupling behaviour of the partials. The effective Peierls energies and stresses are 1.30?×?10?6?eV/Å and 2.79?×?10?6?μ for the edge dislocation, and 1.62?×?10?4?eV/Å and 2.02?×?10?4?μ for the screw dislocation.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

We report total electron-impact ionisation cross sections (EICSs) of cisplatin, its hydrolysis products and transplatin in the energy range from threshold to 10?keV using the binary-encounter-Bethe (BEB) and its relativistic variant (RBEB), and the Deutsch-Märk (DM) methods. We find reasonable agreement between all three methods, and we also note that the RBEB and the BEB methods yield very similar (almost identical) results in the considered energy range. For cisplatin, the resulting EICSs yield cross section maxima of 22.09?×?10?20?m2 at 55.4?eV for the DM method and 18.67?×?10?20?m2 at 79.2?eV for the (R)BEB method(s). The EICSs of monoaquated cisplatin yield maxima of 12.54?×?10?20?m2 at 82.8?eV for the DM method and of 9.74?×?10?20?m2 at 106?eV for the (R)BEB method(s), diaquated cisplatin yields maxima of 7.56?×?10?20?m2 at 118.5?eV for the DM method and of 5.77?×?10?20?m2 at 136?eV for the (R)BEB method(s). Molecular geometry does not affect the resulting EICS significantly, which is also reflected in very similar EICSs of the cis- and trans-isomer. Limitations of the work as well as desirable future directions in the research area are discussed.  相似文献

Abstract

Nitrogen-containing heterocyclic hydrazones have been used as analytical reagents, mainly to metallic ion spectrophotometric determinations in natural water samples. Using the reagent di-2-pyridil ketone benzoilhydrazone (DPKBH) we have developed a spectrophotometric method for the determination of Ni(II) in samples of several sources. DPKBH was used in excess in order to coordinate Ni(II) and the highest sensitivity was obtained in 50% v/v ethanol solutions when ammonium acetate buffer was added to maintain pH?6.

Analysis for Ni(II) in natural water is frequently performed by EAAS following preconcentration involving solvent extraction. While these methods are sensitive, they also require relatively expensive instrumentation and are generally time-consuming. In contrast, the advantages of the proposed method are the use of simple instrumentation and the possibility of its application in the field. The method is fast, shows high sensitivity, good precision and several samples can be prepared and measured until 10 hours later .

The best order for the addition of reagents, stability of the complex, effect of the reagents excess and foreign ions besides composition of the complex are here reported. A linear behavior was observed between absorbance and nickel concentration. The favorable range is 8.50×10?7 to 1.72×10?5 mol.L?1. The correlation coefficient is 0.997. The intercept of the linear curve is 3.55×10?3 and the slope is 4.00×104cm?1.moI?1.L. The standard error of the intercept and slope is 3.73×10?3 and 4.48×10?4, respectively.  相似文献

Abstract

A new flow‐injection chemiluminescence (CL) method is described for the determination of carbendazim. The method is based on the CL reaction of luminol and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). Carbendazim can greatly enhance the chemiluminescence intensity in sodium hydroxide–sodium dihydrogen phosphate (NaOH–NaH2PO4) medium (pH=12.6). Under the optimum conditions, the linear range for the determination of carbendazim is 2.00×10?8 to 2.00×10?6 g mL?1 with a detection limit (S/N=3) of 7.24×10?9 g mL?1. The relative standard deviation is 1.8% for 1.0×10?7 g mL?1 carbendazim (n=8). The proposed method has been applied to the determination of carbendazim in tap‐water samples. Furthermore, the possible enhanced CL mechanism is discussed by examining the CL spectra and fluorescence spectra.  相似文献

Electron spin resonance has been investigated in zinc oxide single crystals containing vanadium. Several groups of ordinary and forbidden transitions can be observed. A new cathode material for lithium ion battery FeF3?·?0.33H2O/C was synthesized successfully by a simple one-step chemico-mechanical method. It showed a noticeable initial discharge capacity of 233.9 mAh g?1 and corresponding charge capacity of 186.4 mAh g?1. A reversible capacity of ca.157.4 mAh g?1 at 20 mA g?1 can be obtained after 50 charge/discharge cycles. To elucidate the lithium ion transportation in the cathode material, the methods of electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and galvanostatic intermittent titration technique (GITT) were applied to obtain the lithium diffusion coefficients of the material. Within the voltage level of 2.05–3.18 V, the method of EIS showed that \( {D}_{{\mathrm{Li}}^{+}} \) varied in the range of 1.2?×?10?13?~?3.6?×?10?14 cm2 s?1 with a maximum of 1.2?×?10?13 cm2 s?1 at 2.5 V. The method of GITT gave a result of 8.1?×?10?14?~?1.2?×?10?15 cm2 s?1. The way and the range of the variation for lithium ion diffusion coefficients measured by the GITT method show close similarity with those obtained by the EIS method. Besides, they both reached their maximum at a voltage level of 2.5 V.  相似文献
