This paper considers a kind of strongly coupled cross diffusion parabolic system,which can be usedas the multi-dimensional Lyumkis energy transport model in semiconductor science.The global existence andlarge time behavior are obtained for smooth solution to the initial boundary value problem.When the initialdata are a small perturbation of an isothermal stationary solution,the smooth solution of the problem under theinsulating boundary condition,converges to that stationary solution exponentially fast as time goes to infinity.  相似文献

The well-posedness of smooth solution to a 3-Dsimplified Energy-Transport model is discussed in this paper. We prove the local existence, uniqueness, and asymptotic behavior of solution to the equations with hybrid cross-diffusion. In this paper, we present a bipolar hydrodynamic model from semiconductor devices and plasmas, which takes the form of bipolar isentropic Euler–Poisson with electric field and frictional damping added to the momentum equations. We firstly prove the existence of the stationary solutions. Next, we present the global existence and the asymptotic behavior of smooth solutions to the initial boundary value problem for a one-dimensional case in a bounded domain. The result is shown by an elementary energy method. Compared with the corresponding initial data case, we find that the asymptotic state is the stationary solution.  相似文献

Our goal in this work is to establish the existence and the uniqueness of a smooth solution to what we call in this paper the corner problem, that is to say, the wave equation together with absorbing conditions at two orthogonal boundaries. First we set the existence of a very smooth solution to this initial boundary value problem. Then we show the decay in time of energies of high order--higher than the order of the boundary conditions. This result shows that the corner problem is strongly well-posed in spaces smaller than in the half-plane case. Finally, specific corner conditions are derived to select the smooth solution among less regular solutions. These conditions are required to derive complete numerical schemes.

In the simplest case of a linearly degenerate mobility, we view the thin-film equation as a classical free boundary problem. Our focus is on the regularity of solutions and of their free boundary in the “complete wetting” regime, which prescribes zero slope at the free boundary. In order to rule out of the analysis possible changes in the topology of the positivity set, we zoom into the free boundary by looking at perturbations of the stationary solution. Our strategy is based on a priori energy-type estimates which provide “minimal” conditions on the initial datum under which a unique global solution exists. In fact, this solution turns out to be smooth for positive times and to converge to the stationary solution for large times. As a consequence, we obtain smoothness and large-time behavior of the free boundary.  相似文献

In this paper, we study an asymptotic behavior of a solution to the outflow problem for a two-phase model with magnetic field. Our idea mainly comes from [1] and [2] which investigate the asymptotic stability and convergence rates of stationary solutions to the outflow problem for an isentropic Navier–Stokes equation. For the two-phase model with magnetic field, we also obtain the asymptotic stability and convergence rates of global solutions towards corresponding stationary solutions if the initial perturbation belongs to the weighted Sobolev space. In this paper, we consider the three dimensional Cauchy problem of the compressible micropolar viscous flows. We prove the existence of unique global classical solution for smooth initial data with small initial energy but possibly large oscillations and the initial density may allowed to contain the interior and far field vacuum states. We study the initial boundary value problem of bipolar semiconductor hydrodynamic model with recombination-generation rate for the non-constant doping profile. The new feature is that the current distribution for electrons and holes is not constant. In order to overcome this difficulty, the existence and uniqueness of a subsonic stationary solution are first established by elliptic theorem. Then, for such an Euler–Poisson system, we prove, by means of a technical energy method, that the subsonic solutions are unique, exist globally and asymptotically converge to the corresponding stationary solutions. 针对箱式约束变分不等式问题,利用一类积分型全局最优性条件,提出了一个新光滑gap函数.该光滑gap函数形式简单且具有较好的性质.利用该gap函数,箱式约束变分不等式可转化为等价光滑优化问题进行求解.进一步地,讨论了可保证等价光滑优化问题的任意聚点为箱式约束变分不等式问题解的条件.以一个简单的摩擦接触问题为例阐释了该方法的应用.最后,利用标准的变分不等式考题验证了方法的有效性.  相似文献

In this paper we study isentropic flow in a curved pipe. We focus on the consequences of the geometry of the pipe on the dynamics of the flow. More precisely, we present the solution of the general Cauchy problem for isentropic fluid flow in an arbitrarily curved, piecewise smooth pipe. We consider initial data in the subsonic regime, with small total variation about a stationary solution. The proof relies on the front-tracking method and is based on [1].  相似文献

We study the three-dimensional Cauchy problem of the Poisson–Nernst–Planck–Navier–Stokes equations. We first show that the corresponding stationary system has a unique semi-trivial solution under a general doping profile. Under initial small perturbations around such the semi-trivial stationary solution and small doping profile, we obtain the unique global-in-time solution to the non-stationary system. We consider an initial boundary-value problem describing the unidirectional motion of a liquid in the Oberbeck–Boussinesq model in a plane channel with rigid immovable walls on which the temperature distribution is given (or the upper wall is heat-insulated).
