The optimal velocity model of traffc is extended to take the relative velocity into account. The traffcbehavior is investigated numerically and analytically with this model. It is shown that the car interaction with therelative velocity can effect the stability of the traffic flow and raise critical density. The jamming transition between thefreely moving and jamming phases is investigated with the linear stability analysis and nonlinear perturbation methods.The traffic jam is described by the kink solution of the modified Korteweg-de Vries equation. The theoretical result isin good agreement with the simulation.  相似文献

Based on the optimal velocity models, an extended model is proposed, in which multi-veloclty-dllterence aheacl is taken into consideration. The damping effect of the multi-velocity-difference ahead has been investigated by means of analytical and numerical methods. Results indicate that the multi-velocity-difference leads to the enhancement of stability of traffic flow, suppression of the emergence of traffic jamming, and reduction of the energy consumption.  相似文献

从研究微观个体车辆行为出发,考虑车辆加速过程的不确定性,提出了随机计及相对速度的 交通流跟驰模型(SR-OV模型).对随机相对速度的跟驰模型的动力学方程进行稳定性分析,得 到与Bando跟驰模型不同的稳定性判据,其稳定性优于Bando模型.运用摄动理论分析交通过 程中密度波的变化,结果表明,在发生交通阻塞相变时,交通密度波以mKdV方程描述的扭结 -反扭结波演化.对随机相对速度跟驰模型进行数值模拟和分析,结果发现车流速度的变化小 于Bando模型的速度变化,而且与随机概率有关,当随机考虑相对速度的概率增大时,初始 的小扰动不会放大对车流产生影响,甚至长时间就消失,这与Bando模型完全不同.数值模拟 所得到的相图与解析解相符合,而且交通流稳定区域大于Bando模型.从车间距-速度演化图上 ,随着随机概率的增大,SR-OV模型在初始时存在的滞后现象,随着时间的增长,趋于稳定 状态后,滞后曲线收敛于一小区域,滞后效应被削弱.这完全不同于Bando模型,在Bando模 型中,滞后曲线由一点向外扩散,滞后曲线区域越来越大,车流趋于不稳定状态. 关键词: 交通流 跟驰模型 稳定性判据 相对速度  相似文献

In this paper, the optimal velocity model of traffic is extended to take into account the relative velocity. The stability and density waves for traffic flow are investigated analytically with the perturbation method. The stability criterion is derived by the linear stability analysis. It is shown that the triangular shock wave, soliton wave and kink wave appear respectively in our model for density waves in the three regions: stable, metastable and unstable regions. These correspond to the solutions of the Burgers equation, Korteweg-de Vries equation and modified Korteweg-de Vries equation. The analytical results are confirmed to be in good agreement with those of numerical simulation. All the results indicate that the interaction of a car with relative velocity can affect the stability of the traffic flow and raise critical density.  相似文献

<正>Based on Xue's lattice model,an extended lattice model is proposed by considering the relative current information about next-nearest-neighbour sites ahead.The linear stability condition of the presented model is obtained by employing the linear stability theory.The density wave is investigated analytically with the perturbation method.The results show that the occurrence of traffic jamming transitions can be described by the kink-antikink solution of the modified Korteweg-de Vries(mKdV) equation.The simulation results are in good agreement with the analytical results,showing that the stability of traffic flow can be enhanced when the relative current of next-nearest-neighbour sites ahead is considered.  相似文献

To further investigate car-following behaviors in the cooperative adaptive cruise control(CACC) strategy,a comprehensive control system which can handle three traffic conditions to guarantee driving efficiency and safety is designed by using three CACC models.In this control system,some vital comprehensive information,such as multiple preceding cars' speed differences and headway,variable safety distance(VSD) and time-delay effect on the traffic current and the jamming transition have been investigated via analytical or numerical methods.Local and string stability criterion for the velocity control(VC) model and gap control(GC) model are derived via linear stability theory.Numerical simulations are conducted to study the performance of the simulated traffic flow.The simulation results show that the VC model and GC model can improve driving efficiency and suppress traffic congestion.  相似文献

Based on the velocity gradient model, an extended continuum model with consideration of the mean-field velocity difference is proposed in this paper. By using the linear stability theory, the linear stability criterion of the new model is gained, which proved that mean-field velocity difference has significant influence on stability of traffic flow. The KdV–Burgers equation is derived by using non-linear analysis method and the evolution of density wave near the neutral stability line is explored. Numerical simulations are carried out how mean-field velocity difference affect the stability of traffic flow, and energy consumption is also studied for this new macro model. At the same time, complicated traffic phenomena such as local cluster effects, shock waves and rarefaction waves can be reproduced in the new model by numerical simulation. Numerical results are consistent with the theoretical analysis, which indicates that the mean-field velocity difference not only suppresses traffic jam, but also depresses energy consumption.  相似文献

In this paper, a new anticipation optimal velocity model (AOVM) is proposed by considering anticipation effect on the basis of the full velocity difference model (FVDM) for car-following theory on single lane. The linear stability condition is derived from linear stability analysis. Starting and braking process is investigated for the car motion under a traffic signal, which shows that the results accord with empirical traffic values. Especially AOVM can avoid the disadvantage of the unrealistically high deceleration appearing in FVDM. Furthermore, numerical simulation shows that AOVM might avoid the disadvantage of negative velocity and headway that occur at small sensitivity coefficients in the FVDM since the anticipation effect is taken into account in AOVM, which means that collision disappears with the consideration of an appropriate anticipation parameter.  相似文献

The gas-kinetic non-local traffic model is improved by taking into account the relative velocity of the correlated vehicles. The stability of different relaxation time modes is analytically investigated with the perturbation method. The analysis and numerical simulations validate that the density-velocity dependent relaxation time model is more stable than the other gas-kinetic traffic models in the high density traffic jams.  相似文献

在一维交通流格子模型的基础上,分别提出考虑最近邻车和次近邻车以及考虑前、后近邻车相互作用进行车流优化的一维交通流格子模型.应用线性稳定性理论和非线性理论进行分析,得出车流的稳定性条件,并导出了描述交通阻塞相变的mKdV方程.用数值模拟验证了mKdV方程的解,数值模拟结果表明考虑最近邻车和次近邻车的优化车流能够增强车流稳定性,而考虑前、后近邻车的优化车流将使稳定性减小. 关键词: 交通流 交通相变 稳定判据 mKdV方程  相似文献

Density waves are investigated analytically and numerically in the optimal velocity model with reaction-time delay of drivers. The stability condition of this model is obtained by using the linear stability theory. The results show that the decrease of reaction-time delay of drivers leads to the stabilization of traffic flow. The Burgers, Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) and modified Korteweg-de Vries (mKdV) equations are derived to describe the density waves in the stable, metastable and unstable regions respectively. The triangular shock waves, soliton waves and kink-antikink waves appearing respectively in the three distinct regions are derived to describe the traffic jams. The effect of accelerating stepwise on the jamming transition is investigated in the extended car-following model. The optimal velocity function is modified to take into account accelerating stepwise vehicles. It is shown that the multiple phase transitions occur on varying the car density. The multiple transitions change with the delay time. The flow-density curves and the velocity-headway curves are presented for various delay times. It is also shown that the multiple jamming transition lines are consistent with the neutral stability curves. The jamming transitions are closely related with the turning points of the optimal velocity function.  相似文献

The jamming transition from the free traffic to the oscillatory traffic is investigated with the unidirectionally coupled map lattice model which has the hyperbolic tangent local map. Spatio-temporal structures in the jamming transition are found with the use of numerical simulation. The traffic states are studied for both constant and noisy boundary conditions. We show the phase diagrams of different kinds of congested traffic. It is found that the noise at the boundary has an important effect on the traffic states. The traffic behavior in the coupled map lattice model exhibits a jamming transition similar to that found in the car-following model.  相似文献

The full velocity difference model proposed by Jiang et al. [2001 Phys. Rev. E 64 017101] has been improved by introducing velocity anticipation. Velocity anticipation means the follower estimates the future velocity of the leader. The stability condition of the new model is obtained by using the linear stability theory. Theoretical results show that the stability region increases when we increase the anticipation time interval. The mKdV equation is derived to describe the kink--antikink soliton wave and obtain the coexisting stability line. The delay time of car motion and kinematic wave speed at jam density are obtained in this model. Numerical simulations exhibit that when we increase the anticipation time interval enough, the new model could avoid accidents under urgent braking cases. Also, the traffic jam could be suppressed by considering the anticipation velocity. All results demonstrate that this model is an improvement on the full velocity difference model.  相似文献

By introducing relative velocities of arbitrary number of cars ahead into the full velocity difference models (FVDM), we present a forward looking relative velocity model (FLRVM) of cooperative driving control system. To our knowledge, the model is an improvement over the similar extension in the forward looking optimal velocity models (FLOVM), because it is more reasonable and realistic in implement of incorporating intelligent transportation system in traffic. Then the stability criterion is investigated by the linear stability analysis with finding that new consideration theoretically lead to the improvement of the stability of traffic flow, and the validity of our theoretical analysis is confirmed by direct simulations. In addition, nonlinear analysis of the model shows that the three waves: triangular shock wave, soliton wave and kink-antikink wave appear respectively in stable, metastable and unstable regions. These correspond to the solutions of the Burgers equation, Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) equation and modified Korteweg-de Vries (mKdV) equation.  相似文献

在全速度差(Full Velocity Difference, FVD)模型的基础上,提出了一个扩展模型——多速度差(Multiple Velocity Difference, MVD)模型. 在MVD模型中,尝试利用多辆前车信息以提高交通流的稳定性,除了考虑前车与本车的速度差外,进一步利用了多辆前车间的速度差信息. 通过线性稳定性分析,对两个模型进行比较,发现在MVD模型中,自由流稳定的敏感系数临界值变小,稳定区域有明显增加. 数值仿真结果表明,MVD模型能有效地抑制交通流堵塞. 关键词: 交通流 稳定性分析 速度差 节能  相似文献

In this Letter, we present a new optimal velocity difference model for a car-following theory based on the full velocity difference model. The linear stability condition of the new model is obtained by using the linear stability theory. The unrealistically high deceleration does not appear in OVDM. Numerical simulation of traffic dynamics shows that the new model can avoid the disadvantage of negative velocity occurred at small sensitivity coefficient λ in full velocity difference model by adjusting the coefficient of the optimal velocity difference, which shows that collision can disappear in the improved model.  相似文献
