αα elastic scattering was measured at 4.32 GeV/c and 5.07 GeV/c incident momenta. The four-momentum transfer range, extending from ?0.05 to ?0.77 (GeV/c)2, covers the first and second minimum regions. The results are compared with calculations based on Glauber theory.  相似文献

We have measured the beam-normal single-spin asymmetries in elastic scattering of transversely polarized electrons from the proton, and performed the first measurement in quasielastic scattering on the deuteron, at backward angles (lab scattering angle of 108°) for Q2 = 0.22 GeV2/c2 and 0.63 GeV2/c2 at beam energies of 362 and 687 MeV, respectively. The asymmetry arises due to the imaginary part of the interference of the two-photon exchange amplitude with that of single-photon exchange. Results for the proton are consistent with a model calculation which includes inelastic intermediate hadronic (πN) states. An estimate of the beam-normal single-spin asymmetry for the scattering from the neutron is made using a quasistatic deuterium approximation, and is also in agreement with theory.  相似文献

A generalization of the Glauber-Sitenko diffraction model that includes the spin dependence of NN amplitudes, the D-wave of the deuteron, and the charge exchange effects is constructed for elastic pd scattering at intermediate energies. The developed model was used to analyze differential cross sections and some spin observables (analyzing powers) at the incident proton energies T p = 1 GeV, 440 and 250 MeV. It was shown that predictions of the generalized diffraction model agree both with the experimental data and with the exact Faddeev calculations at low transfer momenta.  相似文献

The cross section for backward elastic pd scattering in the proton kinetic energy interval from 0.4 to 1.0 GeV is calculated from a double-triangle diagram with intermediate Δ(1232) excitation. Different approximations for the loop integrals are discussed. The predicted cross sections reproduce quite well the enhancement observed in the experimental data at about 600 MeV.  相似文献

The recent data on both elastic and inelastic scattering of 1 GeV protons by 40Ca and 208Pb are analyzed by means of the first term of the multiple scattering series for the optical potential and the DWIA. Theory and experiment agree quite well. Coulomb effects are taken into account. Neutron and proton ground state densities given by Hartree-Fock calculations employing a density-dependent Hamiltonian and which provide a good fit to elastic electron scattering are used. The Tassie form factors, normalized by comparison with inelastic electron scattering, are employed in the DWIA.  相似文献

In this article, we separate the vector and axialvector components of the tensor diquark operators explicitly,construct the axialvector-axialvector type and vector-vector type scalar tetraquark currents and scalar-tensor type tensor tetraquark current to study the scalar, vector and axialvector tetraquark states with the QCD sum rules in a consistent way. The present calculations do not favor assigning the Zc(4100) to be a scalar or vector tetraquark state. If the Zc(4100) is a scalar tetraquark state without mixing effects, it should have a mass about 3.9 GeV or 4.0 GeV rather than4.1 GeV; on the other hand, if the Zc(4100) is a vector tetraquark state, it should have a mass about 4.2 GeV rather than 4.1 GeV. However, if we introduce mixing, a mixing scalar tetraquark state can have a mass about 4.1 GeV. As a byproduct, we obtain an axialvector tetraquark candidate for the Zc(4020).  相似文献

Differential cross sections for backward π?d elastic scattering (?1 ≦ cos θc.m ≦ ?0.98) have been measured at fourteen momenta from 0.98 to 1.76 GeV/c and at 2.45 GeV/c. Energy dependence of the cross section exibits a new wide structure at √s ≈ 2.9 GeV. Possible mechanisms of the reaction accounting for this structure are presented. The two photon cascade decay of the 3.7 GeV resonance into the 3.1 GeV resonance has been observed in two nearly independent experiments. The clustering of the photon energies around 160 MeV and 420 MeV observed in the channel 3.7 → (3.1 → μ+μ?) + γγ indicates the existence of at least one intermediate state with even charge conjugation at a mass around 3.52 GeV or 3.26 GeV.  相似文献

We present measurements of the recoil proton polarization for the d(gamma-->,p-->)n reaction at straight theta(c.m.) = 90 degrees for photon energies up to 2.4 GeV. These are the first data in this reaction for polarization transfer with circularly polarized photons. The induced polarization p(y) vanishes above 1 GeV, contrary to meson-baryon model expectations, in which resonances lead to large polarizations. However, the polarization transfer Cx does not vanish above 1 GeV, inconsistent with hadron helicity conservation. Thus, we show that the scaling behavior observed in the d(gamma,p)n cross sections is not a result of perturbative QCD. These data should provide important tests of new nonperturbative calculations in the intermediate energy regime.  相似文献

A program code widely applied at RHIC and LHC for calculations of geometrical properties of nucleus-nucleus interactions is adapted for NICA/MPD and CBM energies. A parameterization of pp elastic scattering amplitude earlier proposed by the authors and valid at √s ≥ 3 GeV is used for a setting of the nucleon-nucleon collision profile. An approach well known in physics of low and intermediate energies is used for a determination of nuclear parameters. The code is enlarged by a possibility to account for the Gribov inelastic screening.  相似文献

Tensor polarization observables ( t(20), t(21), and t(22)) have been measured in elastic electron-deuteron scattering for six values of momentum transfer between 0.66 and 1.7 (GeV/c)(2). The experiment was performed at the Jefferson Laboratory in Hall C using the electron High Momentum Spectrometer, a specially designed deuteron magnetic channel and the recoil deuteron polarimeter POLDER. The new data determine to much larger Q2 the deuteron charge form factors G(C) and G(Q). They are in good agreement with relativistic calculations and disagree with perturbative QCD predictions.  相似文献

The alpha-particle model has been applied to calculate the elastic and the 2+ inelastic angular distribution of 1 GeV protons on12C within the framework of Glauber multiple scattering theory. The results are compared with the recent experimental data and with some previous calculations. The model gives a fairly good account of the inelastic data and its predictions for the elastic scattering are essentially the same as those of the shell model.  相似文献

In the framework of the quark-gluon string model, we calculate the inclusive spectra of secondaries produced in heavy-ion collisions at intermediate (CERN SPS) and at much higher (RHIC) energies. We demonstrate that the mechanism of secondary production changed drastically in the energy interval √s = 20–60 GeV and that it is in agreement with qualitative estimates of Glauber-Gribov theory. The results of numerical calculations at intermediate energies are in reasonable agreement with the data without change of the model parameters. At RHIC energies, numerically large inelastic screening correlations should be accounted for in calculations. The text was submitted by the authors in English.  相似文献

We have measured the transverse asymmetry A(T') in 3He(e,e(')) quasielastic scattering in Hall A at Jefferson Laboratory with high precision for Q2 values from 0.1 to 0.6 (GeV/c)(2). The neutron magnetic form factor G(n)(M) was extracted based on Faddeev calculations for Q2 = 0.1 and 0.2 (GeV/c)(2) with an experimental uncertainty of less than 2%.  相似文献

Results are presented of a bubble chamber experiment on K?p elastic scattering at 14.3 GeV/c, in four-momentum transfer range 0.04 < |t| < 2.74 GeV2 using an initial set of 40 000 events. The total elastic cross section is (2.96 ± 0.10) mb. The results are compared with K+p elastic scattering data at 13.8 GeV/c, and the effective Regge trajectory is calculated using K?p data from 5 to 100 GeV/c.  相似文献
