The combination of an electrophilic metal center with a redox active ligand set has the potential to provide reactivity unique from transition metal redox chemistry. In this report, substituted iminopyridine complexes containing monoanionic and dianionic (Me)IP(Mes) ligands have been characterized structurally and electronically. Green ((Me)IP(Mes)(-))AlCl(2) (1), ((Me)IP(Mes)(-))AlMe(2) (2), and ((Me)IP(Mes)(-))GaCl(2) (5) have a doublet spin state which results from the anion radical form of (Me)IP(Mes). Purple ((Me)IP(Mes)(2-))AlCl(OEt(2)) (3), ((Me)IP(Mes)(2-))AlMe(OEt(2)) (4), and ((Me)IP(Mes)(2-))GaCl(OEt(2)) (6) are each diamagnetic. We have also investigated the solvent dependence of the decomposition of the (Me)IP(Mes) anion radical. Complexes 1 and 2 can be obtained from benzene and hexanes whereas the use of ether solvents results in the formation of undesirable ((CH2)IP(Mes)(-))AlCl(2) (1a) and ((CH2)IP(Mes)(-))AlCl(2) (2a) formed by loss of a hydrogen atom from the (Me)IP(Mes)(-) ligand. Electrochemical measurements indicate that 1, 2, and 5 are redox active.  相似文献

A combined experimental and DFT study of the reactions of the titanium imido methyl cation [Ti(NtBu)(Me3[9]aneN3)Me]+ (4+) with AlMe3 and ZnMe2 is described. Reaction of 4+ with AlMe3 gave [Ti(NtBu)(Me3[9]aneN3)(mu-Me)2AlMe2]+ (7+), the first structurally characterized AlMe3 adduct of a transition metal alkyl cation and a model for the presumed resting state in MAO-activated olefin polymerizations. Reaction of 4+ with ZnMe2 also gave a methyl-bridged heterobinuclear species, namely [Ti(mu-NtBu)(Me3[9]aneN3)(mu-Me)2ZnMe]+ (8+), the first directly observed ZnMe2 adduct of a transition metal alkyl cation. At room temperature, all three metal-bound methyls of 8+ underwent rapid exchange with those of free ZnMe2, whereas at 233 K only the terminal Zn-Me group exchanged significantly. Addition of AlMe3 to 8+ quantitatively formed 7+ and ZnMe2. Reaction of 4+ with Cp2ZrMe2 gave [Ti(NtBu){Me2(mu-CH2)[9]aneN3}(mu-CH2)ZrCp2]+ (10+) via a highly selective double C-H bond activation reaction in which both alkyl groups of Cp2ZrMe2 were lost. DFT calculations on models of 7+ confirmed the approximately square-based pyramidal geometries for the bridging methyl groups. Calculations on 8+ found that the formation of the Ti(mu-Me)2Zn moiety is assisted by an Nimide-->Zn dative bond. DFT calculations for the sterically less encumbered methyl cation [Ti(NMe)(H3[9]aneN3)Me]+ found strong thermodynamic preferences for adducts featuring Nimide-->M (M = Al or Zn) interactions. This offers insight into recently observed structure-productivity trends in MAO-activated imido-based polymerization catalysts. Calculations on the metallocenium adducts [Cp2Ti(mu-Me)2AlMe2]+ and [Cp2Ti(mu-Me)2ZnMe]+ are described, each showing alpha-agostic interactions for the bridging methyl groups. For these systems and the imido ones, the coordination of AlMe3 to the corresponding monomethyl cation is ca. 30 kJ mol-1 more favorable than for ZnMe2.  相似文献

The metal halides of Group 5 MX(5) (M = Nb, Ta; X = F, Cl, Br) react with ketones and acetylacetones affording the octahedral complexes [MX(5)(ketone)] () and [TaX(4){kappa(2)(O)-OC(Me)C(R)C(Me)O}] (R = H, Me, ), respectively. The adducts [MX(5)(acetone)] are still reactive towards acetone, acetophenone or benzophenone, giving the aldolate species [MX(4){kappa(2)(O)-OC(Me)CH(2)C(R)(R')O}] (). The syntheses of (M = Ta, X = F, R = R' = Ph) and (M = Ta, X = Cl, R = Me, R' = Ph) take place with concomitant formation of [(Ph(2)CO)(2)-H][TaF(6)], and [(MePhCO)(2)-H][TaCl(6)], respectively. The compounds [acacH(2)][TaF(6)], and [TaF{OC(Me)C(Me)C(Me)O}(3)][TaF(6)], have been isolated as by-products in the reactions of TaF(5) with acacH and 3-methyl-2,4-pentanedione, respectively. The molecular structures of, and have been ascertained by single crystal X-ray diffraction studies.  相似文献

The heptanuclear aluminium-nitrogen cage compound [(AlMe(2))(4)(AlMe)(3)(NHNMe)(3)(N-NMe)(OMe)] contains the unique hydrazinetriide fragment [N-N(Me)](3-) stabilized by coordination to five Al atoms. It was synthesised by thermolysis of the sesqui-hydrazide Al[(μ-NH-NHMe)(2)AlMe(2)](3) in refluxing toluene in the presence of a small quantity of methanol.  相似文献

The protonolysis reaction of [Ln(AlMe(4))(3)] with various substituted cyclopentadienyl derivatives HCp(R) gives access to a series of half-sandwich complexes [Ln(AlMe(4))(2)(Cp(R))]. Whereas bis(tetramethylaluminate) complexes with [1,3-(Me(3)Si)(2)C(5)H(3)] and [C(5)Me(4)SiMe(3)] ancillary ligands form easily at ambient temperature for the entire Ln(III) cation size range (Ln=Lu, Y, Sm, Nd, La), exchange with the less reactive [1,2,4-(Me(3)C)(3)C(5)H(3)] was only obtained at elevated temperatures and for the larger metal centers Sm, Nd, and La. X-ray structure analyses of seven representative complexes of the type [Ln(AlMe(4))(2)(Cp(R))] reveal a similar distinct [AlMe(4)] coordination (one eta(2), one bent eta(2)). Treatment with Me(2)AlCl leads to [AlMe(4)] --> [Cl] exchange and, depending on the Al/Ln ratio and the Cp(R) ligand, varying amounts of partially and fully exchanged products [{Ln(AlMe(4))(mu-Cl)(Cp(R))}(2)] and [{Ln(mu-Cl)(2)(Cp(R))}(n)], respectively, have been identified. Complexes [{Y(AlMe(4))(mu-Cl)(C(5)Me(4)SiMe(3))}(2)] and [{Nd(AlMe(4))(mu-Cl){1,2,4-(Me(3)C)(3)C(5)H(2)}}(2)] have been characterized by X-ray structure analysis. All of the chlorinated half-sandwich complexes are inactive in isoprene polymerization. However, activation of the complexes [Ln(AlMe(4))(2)(Cp(R))] with boron-containing cocatalysts, such as [Ph(3)C][B(C(6)F(5))(4)], [PhNMe(2)H][B(C(6)F(5))(4)], or B(C(6)F(5))(3), produces initiators for the fabrication of trans-1,4-polyisoprene. The choice of rare-earth metal cation size, Cp(R) ancillary ligand, and type of boron cocatalyst crucially affects the polymerization performance, including activity, catalyst efficiency, living character, and polymer stereoregularity. The highest stereoselectivities were observed for the precatalyst/cocatalyst systems [La(AlMe(4))(2)(C(5)Me(4)SiMe(3))]/B(C(6)F(5))(3) (trans-1,4 content: 95.6 %, M(w)/M(n)=1.26) and [La(AlMe(4))(2)(C(5)Me(5))]/B(C(6)F(5))(3) (trans-1,4 content: 99.5 %, M(w)/M(n)=1.18).  相似文献

Reactions of (RNH)(3)PNSiMe(3) (3a, R = (t)()Bu; 3b, R = Cy) with trimethylaluminum result in the formation of {Me(2)Al(mu-N(t)Bu)(mu-NSiMe(3))P(NH(t)()Bu)(2)]} (4) and the dimeric trisimidometaphosphate {Me(2)Al[(mu-NCy)(mu-NSiMe(3))P(mu-NCy)(2)P(mu-NCy)(mu-NSiMe(3))]AlMe(2)} (5a), respectively. The reaction of SP(NH(t)Bu)(3) (2a) with 1 or 2 equiv of AlMe(3) yields {Me(2)Al[(mu-S)(mu-N(t)Bu)P(NH(t)()Bu)(2)]} (7) and {Me(2)Al[(mu-S)(mu-N(t)()Bu)P(mu-NH(t)Bu)(mu-N(t)Bu)]AlMe(2)} (8), respectively. Metalation of 4 with (n)()BuLi produces the heterobimetallic species {Me(2)Al[(mu-N(t)Bu)(mu-NSiMe(3))P(mu-NH(t)()Bu)(mu-N(t)()Bu)]Li(THF)(2)} (9a) and {[Me(2)Al][Li](2)[P(N(t)Bu)(3)(NSiMe(3))]} (10) sequentially; in THF solutions, solvation of 10 yields an ion pair containing a spirocyclic tetraimidophosphate monoanion. Similarly, the reaction of ((t)BuNH)(3)PN(t)()Bu with AlMe(3) followed by 2 equiv of (n)BuLi generates {Me(2)Al[(mu-N(t)Bu)(2)P(mu(2)-N(t)Bu)(2)(mu(2)-THF)[Li(THF)](2)} (11a). Stoichiometric oxidations of 10 and 11a with iodine yield the neutral spirocyclic radicals {Me(2)Al[(mu-NR)(mu-N(t)Bu)P(mu-N(t)Bu)(2)]Li(THF)(2)}(*) (13a, R = SiMe(3); 14a, R = (t)Bu), which have been characterized by electron paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy. Density functional theory calculations confirm the retention of the spirocyclic structure and indicate that the spin density in these radicals is concentrated on the nitrogen atoms of the PN(2)Li ring. When 3a or 3b is treated with 0.5 equiv of dibutylmagnesium, the complexes {Mg[(mu-N(t)()Bu)(mu-NH(t)()Bu)P(NH(t)Bu)(NSiMe(3))](2)} (15) and {Mg[(mu-NCy)(mu-NSiMe(3))P(NHCy)(2)](2)} (16) are obtained, respectively. The addition of 0.5 equiv of MgBu(2) to 2a results in the formation of {Mg[(mu-S)(mu-N(t)()Bu)P(NH(t)Bu)(2)](2)} (17), which produces the hexameric species {[MgOH][(mu-S)(mu-N(t)()Bu)P(NH(t)Bu)(2)]}(6) (18) upon hydrolysis. Compounds 4, 5a, 7-11a, and 15-17 have been characterized by multinuclear ((1)H, (13)C, and (31)P) NMR spectroscopy and, in the case of 5a, 9a.2THF, 11a, and 18, by X-ray crystallography.  相似文献

The reactions of the disodium salt of the 1,2-bis[(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)imino]acenaphthene (dpp-BIAN) ligand with one equivalent of Me2AlCl in diethyl ether, toluene, and benzene produced the complexes [Na(Et2O)2(dpp-BIAN)AlMe2] (1), [Na(eta6-C7H8)(dpp-BIAN)AlMe2] (2) and [Na(eta6-C6H6)(dpp-BIAN)AlMe2] (3), respectively. Recrystallization of 1 from hexane afforded solvent-free [{Na(dpp-BIAN)AlMe2}n] (4) or [Na(Et2O)(dpp-BIAN)AlMe2] (5) depending on the temperature of the solvent. The molecular structures of 1-5 have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The sodium cation coordinates either one of the naphthalene rings (1) or the diimine part of the dpp-BIAN ligand (2-5). In the complexes 2 and 3, the sodium cation additionally coordinates the toluene (2) or benzene molecule (3) in an eta6-fashion.  相似文献

The compounds [[(thf)Li2-[H2CS(NtBu)2]]2] (1) and [((thf)Li2[(Et)-(Me)CS(NtBu)2])2] (2) can be synthesized in a two-step reaction. Firstly addition of an alkyllithium to sulfur diimide gives the diazaalkylsulfinate [RS(NtBu)2] (R =Me, sBu). In a second step the alpha-carbon atom in R is metalated with one equivalent of methyllithium to give the S-ylides. This new class of compounds can be rationalized as sulfite analogues, in which two oxygen atoms are each isoelectronically replaced by a NtBu group and the remaining oxygen atom is replaced by a CR2 group. Similar to Corey's S-ylides (R2(O)S+-CR2) and Wittig's phosphonium ylides (R3P+ - -CR2), these molecules contain a positively charged sulfur atom next to a carbanionic center. Therefore nucleophilic addition reactions of the carbon atom are feasible. The reaction of a sulfur diimide with the anionic carbon center in [H2CS-(NtBu)2]2- gives the intermediate alkylbis(diazasulfinate) [(tBuN)2SCH2S(NtBu)2]2-. The acidity of the hydrogen atoms at the bridging CH2 group is high enough to give, upon deprotonation, the [(tBuN)2SCHS(NtBu)2]3- trianion in [[(thf)Li3[(tBuN)2SCHS(NtBu)2]]2] (3). In [(Et)(Me)CS(NtBu)2]2 the nucleophilic carbon atom is sterically hindered and transimidation instead of deprotonation is observed. In a complex redox process [(thf)6Li6S((NtBu)3S]2] is recovered. The two new classes of compounds broaden the rich coordination chemistry of the triazasulfites by the introduction of a hard carbon center.  相似文献

The adducts [[(Me(3)Si)(2){Me(2)P(BH(3))}C]K(L)(n)](m) [L = THF, n = 0.5, m = infinity (2a); L = tmeda (2b), pmdeta (2c), n = 1, m = 2] may be synthesised by treatment of solvent-free [[(Me(3)Si)(2){Me(2)P(BH(3))}C]K](infinity) (2) with the corresponding Lewis base (tmeda = N,N,N',N'-tetramethylethylenediamine; pmdeta = N,N,N',N',N'-pentamethyldiethylenetriamine). X-Ray crystallography reveals that, whereas 2 crystallises with a complex 2-dimensional sheet structure, 2a crystallises as a ribbon-type one-dimensional polymer and both 2b and 2c crystallise as dimers. The corresponding complex with 12-crown-4, [K(12-crown-4)(2)][(Me(3)Si)(2){Me(2)P(BH(3))}C] (2d) crystallises as a separated ion pair. The complexes [[(Me(3)Si)(2){Me(2)P(BH(3))}C]M(pmdeta)](n) [M = Na, n = 1 (6); M = Rb, n = 2 (7)] may be synthesised by treatment of [(Me(3)Si)(2){Me(2)P(BH(3))}C]M with pmdeta. Whereas crystallises as a discrete monomer, compound 7 crystallises as a dimer. Compounds 2, 2a-2d, 6, 7 and the corresponding caesium derivative [[(Me(3)Si)(2){Me(2)P(BH(3))}C]Cs(pmdeta)](2) () provide an opportunity to consider the influence of the ionic radius of the metal and the nature of the co-ligands on the structures of alkali metal complexes of a phosphine-borane-stabilised carbanion.  相似文献

A survey of computed mechanisms for C-F bond activation at the 4-position of pentafluoropyridine by the model zero-valent bis-phosphine complex, [Pt(PH3)(PH2Me)], reveals three quite distinct pathways leading to square-planar Pt(II) products. Direct oxidative addition leads to cis-[Pt(F)(4-C5NF4)(PH3)(PH2Me)] via a conventional 3-center transition state. This process competes with two different phosphine-assisted mechanisms in which C-F activation involves fluorine transfer to a phosphorus center via novel 4-center transition states. The more accessible of the two phosphine-assisted processes involves concerted transfer of an alkyl group from phosphorus to the metal to give a platinum(alkyl)(fluorophosphine), trans-[Pt(Me)(4-C5NF4)(PH3)(PH2F)], analogues of which have been observed experimentally. The second phosphine-assisted pathway sees fluorine transfer to one of the phosphine ligands with formation of a metastable metallophosphorane intermediate from which either alkyl or fluorine transfer to the metal is possible. Both Pt-fluoride and Pt(alkyl)(fluorophosphine) products are therefore accessible via this route. Our calculations highlight the central role of metallophosphorane species, either as intermediates or transition states, in aromatic C-F bond activation. In addition, the similar computed barriers for all three processes suggest that Pt-fluoride species should be accessible. This is confirmed experimentally by the reaction of [Pt(PR3)2] species (R = isopropyl (iPr), cyclohexyl (Cy), and cyclopentyl (Cyp)) with 2,3,5-trifluoro-4-(trifluoromethyl)pyridine to give cis-[Pt(F){2-C5NHF2(CF3)}(PR3)2]. These species subsequently convert to the trans-isomers, either thermally or photochemically. The crystal structure of cis-[Pt(F){2-C5NHF2(CF3)}(P iPr3)2] shows planar coordination at Pt with r(F-Pt) = 2.029(3) A and P(1)-Pt-P(2) = 109.10(3) degrees. The crystal structure of trans-[Pt(F){2-C5NHF2(CF3)}(PCyp3)2] shows standard square-planar coordination at Pt with r(F-Pt) = 2.040(19) A.  相似文献

The terminal chloroaminophosphido complex [Co(CO)3(PPh3){P(Cl)NiPr2}] is formed via reaction of K[Co(CO)4] with iPr2NPCl2 in the presence of triphenylphosphine. Chloride abstraction by aluminum trichloride leads to the first terminal phosphinidene complex of cobalt, [Co(CO)3(PPh3)(PNiPr2)][AlCl4]. The electrophilicity of the phosphinidene was demonstrated by its reaction with diphenylacetylene to form the phosphirene complex [Co(CO)3(PPh3){P(NiPr2)C(Ph)C(Ph)}][AlCl4].  相似文献

When the cyclic bis(amino)stannylene Me(2)Si(NtBu)(2)Sn is allowed to react with metal halides MX(2) (M = Cr, Fe, Co, Zn; X = Cl, Br [Zn]) adducts of the general formula [Me(2)Si(NtBu)(2)Sn.MX(2)](n) are obtained. The compounds are generally dimeric (n = 2) except the ZnBr(2) adduct, which is monomeric in benzene. The crystal structures of [Me(2)Si(NtBu)(2)Sn.CoCl(2)](2) (triclinic, space group &Pmacr;1; a = 8.620(9) ?, b = 9.160(9) ?, c = 12.280(9) ?, alpha = 101.2(1) degrees, beta = 97.6(1) degrees, gamma = 105.9(1) degrees, Z = 1) and of [Me(2)Si(NtBu)(2)Sn.ZnCl(2)](2) (monoclinic, space group P2(1)/c; a = 8.156(9) ?, b = 16.835(12) ?, c = 13.206(9) ?, beta = 94.27(6) degrees, Z = 2) were determined by X-ray diffraction techniques. The two compounds form similar polycyclic, centrosymmetrical assemblies of metal atoms bridged by chlorine or nitrogen atoms. While in the case of the cobalt compound Co is pentacoordinated by three chlorine and two nitrogen atoms, in the zinc derivative Zn is almost tetrahedrally coordinated by three chlorine atoms and one nitrogen atom. The iron derivative [Me(2)Si(NtBu)(2)Sn.FeCl(2)](2) seems to be isostructural with the cobalt compound as can be deduced from the crystal data (triclinic, a = 8.622(7) ?, b = 9.158(8) ?, c = 12.353(8) ?, alpha = 101.8(1) degrees, beta = 96.9(1) degrees, gamma = 105.9(1) degrees, Z = 1). If NiBr(2), PdCl(2), or PtCl(2) is combined with the stannylene, the reaction product is totally different: 4 equiv of the stannylene are coordinating per metal halide, forming the molecular compound [Me(2)Si(NtBu)(2)Sn](4)MX(2), which crystallizes with half a mole of benzene per molecular formula. The crystal structures of [Me(2)Si(NtBu)(2)Sn](4).NiBr(2).(1)/(2)C(6)H(6) (tetragonal, space group I4(1)/a, a = b = 43.86(4) ?, c = 14.32(2) ?, Z = 16) and [Me(2)Si(NtBu)(2)Sn](4).PdCl(2).(1)/(2)C(6)H(6) (tetragonal, space group I4(1)/a, a = b = 43.99(4) ?, c = 14.318(14) ?, Z = 16) reveal the two compounds to be isostructural. The molecules have an inner Sn(4)M pentametallic core (mean distances: Sn-Ni 2.463 ?, Sn-Pd 2.544 ?) with the transition metal in the center of a slightly distorted square formed by the four tin atoms, the distortion from planarity resulting in a weak paramagnetism of 0.2 &mgr;(B) for the nickel compound. The halogen atoms form bridges between two of the tin atoms and have no bonding interaction with the transition metal. The nickel compound has also been prepared by direct interaction of Br(2) or NR(4)Br(3) with [Me(2)Si(NtBu)(2)Sn](4)Ni as a minor product, the main products being Me(2)Si(NtBu)(2)Sn(NtBu)(2)SiMe(2,) Me(2)Si(NtBu)(2)SnBr(2), NiBr(2) and SnBr(2). Other metal clusters have been obtained by the reaction of Me(2)Si(NtBu)(2)Sn with tetrakis(triphenyphosphine)palladium or by the reaction of Me(2)Si(NtBu)(2)Ge with RhCl(PPh(3))(3). In the first case Ph(3)PPd[Sn(NtBu)(2)SiMe(2)](3)PdPPh(3) (rhombohedral, space group R3c, a = b = 21.397(12) ?, c = 57.01(5) ?, alpha = beta = 90 degrees, gamma = 120 degrees, Z = 12) is formed and is characterized by X-ray techniques to be composed of a central PdSn(3)Pd trigonal bipyramid with the tin atoms occupying the equatorial positions (Pd-Sn = 2.702(5) ?). In the second reaction all the triphenylphosphine ligands are replaced from rhodium and Rh[Ge(NtBu)(2)SiMe(2)](4)Cl is formed (monoclinic, space group P2(1)/n, a = 12.164(2) ?, b = 23.625(5) ?, c = 24.128(5) ?, beta = 102.74(3) degrees, Z = 4). The central core of this molecule is made up of a rhodium atom which is almost square planarly coordinated by the germanium atoms, two of which are bridged by chlorine (mean Ge-Rh = 2.355 ?).  相似文献

The reactions of [TaCp*Me{κ(4)-C,N,O,O-(OCH(2))(OCHC(Ph)=CH)py}] (2) and [TaCp*Me{κ(4)-C,N,O,O-(OCH(2))(OCHC(SiMe(3))=CH)py}] (3) with triflic acid (1:2 molar ratio) rendered the corresponding bis-triflate derivatives [TaCp*(OTf)(2){κ(3)-N,O,O-(OCH(2))(OCHC(Ph)=CH(2))py}] (6) and [TaCp*(OTf)(2){κ(3)-N,O,O-(OCH(2))(OCHC(SiMe(3))=CH(2))py}] (7), respectively. Complex 4 reacted with triflic acid in a 1:2 molar ratio to selectively yield the water-soluble cationic complex [TaCp*(OTf){κ(4)-C,N,O,O-(OCH(2))(OCHC(CH(2)NHMe(2))=CH)py}]OTf (8). Compound 8 reacted with water to afford the hydrolyzed complex [TaCp*(OH)(H(2)O){κ(3)-N,O,O-(OCH(2))(OCHC(CH(2)NHMe(2))=CH(2))py}](OTf)(2) (9). Protonation of compound 8 with triflic acid gave the new tantalum compound [TaCp*(OTf){κ(4)-C,N,O,O-(OCH(2))(HOCHC(CH(2)NHMe(2))=CH)py}](OTf)(2) (10), which afforded the corresponding protonolysis derivative [TaCp*(OTf)(2){κ(3)-N,O,O-(OCH(2))(HOCHC(CH(2)NHMe(2))=CH(2))py}](OTf) (11) in solution. Complex 8 reacted with CNtBu and potassium 2-isocyanoacetate to give the corresponding iminoacyl derivatives 12 and 13, respectively. The molecular structures of complexes 5, 7, and 10 were established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies.  相似文献

The imidotitanium alkyl cations [Ti(NtBu)(Me3[9]aneN3)R]+ (R = Me (3+) or CH2SiMe3(4+)) possess either a very weak alpha-agostic or beta-Si-C agostic interactions, respectively, according to 13C and 29Si NMR and DFT studies; reaction of (4+) with iPrNCNiPr gives totally selective insertion into the Ti-alkyl bond; reaction of 3+ with AlMe3 gives the first structurally characterised AlMe3 adduct of a transition metal alkyl cation (Me3[9]aneN3 = 1,4,7-trimethyltriazacyclononane).  相似文献

A series of cationic T-shaped 14-electron boryl complexes of the type trans-[(Cy(3)P)(2)Pt{B(X)X'}](+) (X=Br; X'=ortho-tolyl, tBu, NMe(2), piperidyl, Br; XX'=(NMe(2))(2), catecholato) were synthesized by halide abstraction from trans-[(Cy(3)P)(2)Pt(Br){B(X)X'}] (Cy=cyclohexyl) with Na[BAr(f) (4)] (Ar(f)=3,5-(CF(3))(2)C(6)H(3)), K[B(C(6)F(5))(4)], or Na[BPh(4)]. X-ray diffraction studies were performed on all compounds, revealing a subtle correlation between the trans-influence of the boryl moiety and the Pt--H and Pt--C separations. However, no notable agostic C--H interaction with the platinum center was detected. trans-[(Cy(3)P)(2)Pt(BCat)](+) (Cat=catecholato), the complex with the shortest Pt--H and Pt--C distances, was treated with Lewis bases (L), forming compounds of the type trans-[(Cy(3)P)(2)Pt(L)(BCat)](+), thus proving a decisive influence of the degree of trans-influence exerted by the boryl ligands on the chemical reactivity of the title complexes. Another point that was investigated and clarified is the different behavior of trans-[(Cy(3)P)(2)Pt(Br){B(Br)Mes}] (Mes=mesityl) towards K[B(C(6)F(5))(4)] with formation of the borylene species trans-[(Cy(3)P)(2)Pt(Br)(BMes)](+).  相似文献

The reaction implies the activation of a C-H bond in a phenyl ring of the phosphonium group, this fact being worthy of note due to the strongly deactivating nature of the phosphonium unit. The palladacycle containing the metallated carbon atom is remarkably stable toward the coordination of incoming ligands, while that formed by the iminic N atom and another heteroatom (O, 2a and 2b; S, 2c; N, 2d) is less stable and the resulting complexes can be considered as hemilabile. The X-ray crystal structures of the cyclopalladated [Pd(mu-Cl){C(6)H(4)(PPh(2)=NCH(2)CO(2)Me-kappa-C,N)-2}](2) (2a), [PdCl{C(6)H(4)(PPh(2)=NCH(2)-2-NC(5)H(4)-kappa-C,N,N)-2}] (2d), [Pd{C(6)H(4)(PPh(2)=NCH(2)CONMe(2)-kappa-C,N,O)-2}(NCMe)](ClO(4)) (7b) and [Pd{C(6)H(4)(PPh(2)NCH(2)CONMe(2)-kappa-C,N,O)-2}(py)](ClO(4)) (3b), and the coordination compound cis-[Pd(Cl)(2)(Ph(3)P=NCH(2)CH(2)SMe-kappa-N,S)] (8) are also reported.  相似文献

The reaction of Ln(AlMe(4))(3) with bulky hydrotris(pyrazolyl)borate (Tp(t)(Bu,Me))H proceeds via a sequence of methane elimination and C-H bond activation, affording unprecedented rare-earth metal ligand moieties including Ln(Me)[(micro-Me)AlMe(3)] and X-ray structurally characterized "Tebbe-like" Ln[(micro-CH(2))(2)AlMe(2)].  相似文献

The amidine complexes cis-[L(2)PtNH==C(R){1-MeCy(-2H)}]NO(3) (R = Me, 1a; Ph, 1b, Me(3)C, 1c; Ph(2)(H)C, 1d) and cis-[L(2)PtNH==C(R){9-MeAd(-2H)}]NO(3) (R = Me, 2a; Ph, 2b; Me(3)C, 2c; Ph(2)(H)C, 2d), are formed when cis-[L(2)Pt(μ-OH)](2)(NO(3))(2) (L = PPh(3)) reacts with 1-methylcytosine (1-MeCy) and 9-methyladenine (9-MeAd) in solution of MeCN, PhCN, Me(3)CCN and Ph(2)(H)CCN. Reaction of 1a,b and 2a,b with HCl affords the protonated amidines [NH(2)==C(R){1-MeCy(-H)}]NO(3) (R = Me, 3a; Ph, 3b) and [NH(2)==C(R){9-MeAd(-H)}]NO(3) (R = Me, 4a; Ph, 4b) and cis-(PPh(3))(2)PtCl(2) in quantitative yield. Treatment of 3b and 4b with NaOH allows the isolation of the neutral benzimidamides NH(2)-C(Ph){1-MeCy(-2H)} (5b) and NH(2)-C(Ph){9-MeAd(-2H)} (6b). In the solid state 3b shows a planar structure with the hydrogen atom on N(4) cytosine position involved in a strong H-bond with the NO(3)(-) ion. Intermolecular H-bonds between the oxygen of the cytosine ring and one of the H atoms of the amidine-NH(2) group allow the dimerization of the molecule. A detailed analysis of the spectra of 3b in DMF-d(7) at -55 °C indicates the presence of an equilibrium between the species [NH(2)==C(R){1-MeCy(-H)}]NO(3) and [NH(2)==C(R){1-MeCy(-H)}](2)(NO(3))(2), exchanging with trace amounts of water at 25 °C. [(15)N,(1)H]-HMBC experiments for 5b and 6b indicate that the amino tautomer H(2)N-C(Ph){nucleobase(-2H)}, is the only detectable in solution and such structure has been confirmed in the solid state. The reaction of 5b and 6b with cis-L(2)Pt(ONO(2))(2) (L = PPh(3)), in chlorinated solvents, determines the immediate appearance of a pale yellow colour due to the coordination of the neutral amidine, likely in its imino form HN==C(Ph){nucleobase(-H)}, to give the adducts cis-[L(2)PtNH==C(Ph){nucleobase(-H)}](2+). In fact, addition of "proton sponge" leads to the immediate deprotonation of the amidine ligand with formation of the starting complexes 1b and 2b.  相似文献

Treatment of anhydrous chromium(III) chloride with 2 or 3 equivalents of 1,3-di-tert-butylacetamidinatolithium or 1,3-diisopropylacetamidinatolithium in tetrahydrofuran at ambient temperature afforded Cr(tBuNC(CH3)NtBu)2(Cl)(THF) and Cr(iPrNC(CH3)NiPr)3 in 78% and 65% yields, respectively. Treatment of Cr(tBuNC(CH3)NtBu)2(Cl)(THF) with the potassium salts derived from pyrazoles and 1,2,4-triazoles afforded Cr(tBuNC(CH3)NtBu)2(X), where X=3,5-disubstituted pyrazolato or 3,5-disubstituted 1,2,4-triazolato ligands, in 65-70% yields. X-Ray crystal structure analyses of Cr(tBuNC(CH3)NtBu)2(Me2pz) (Me2pz=3,5-dimethylpyrazolato) and Cr(tBuNC(CH3)NtBu)2(Me2trz) (Me2trz=3,5-dimethyl-1,2,4-triazolato) revealed eta2-coordination of the Me2pz and Me2trz ligands. Treatment of Cr(tBuNC(CH3)NtBu)2(Cl)(THF) with trifluoromethyltetrazolatosodium (NaCF3tetz) in the presence of 4-tert-butylpyridine afforded Cr(tBuNC(CH3)NtBu)2(CF3tetz)(4-tBupy) in 30% yield. An X-ray crystal structure determination showed eta1-coordination of the tetrazolato ligand through the 2-nitrogen atom. The complexes Cr(iPrNC(CH3)NiPr)3 and Cr(tBuNC(CH3)NtBu)2(X) are volatile and sublime with <1% residue between 120 and 165 degrees C at 0.05 Torr. In addition, these complexes are thermally stable at >300 degrees C under an inert atmosphere such as nitrogen or argon. Due to the good volatility and high thermal stability, these new compounds are promising precursors for the growth of chromium-containing thin films using atomic layer deposition.  相似文献
