A single-longitudinal-mode (SLM) operation of a c-cut 1 mm Tm(5%), Ho(0.3%):YAP micro-chip laser pumped by a fiber-coupled
diode-laser was reported. Under cryogenic temperature, the output power of 216 mW was obtained under the incident power of
2230 mW, corresponding to the slope efficiency was 13.6%. As much as 133 mW output and slope efficiency of 4.9% was obtained
under the pump power of 3000 mW at 291 K. In addition, a maximum SLM output power of 30 mW at wavelength of 2130.56 nm is

A continuous-wave laser oscillation was demonstrated with a Yb-doped fluorapatite (FAP) crystal pumped with a 905 nm Ti:sapphire laser. The output characteristics for different output couplers were investigated. A maximum power of 67mW at a 1043nm wavelength was obtained with 10% output coupler, pumped by a Ti:sapphire laser with 910mW power. This corresponds to a slope efficiency of 26.5%. 相似文献

We demonstrate a high-efficiency continuous-wave Tm: YAG ceramic laser pumped with a Ti:sapphire laser. An output power up to 860mW is obtained under an absorbed pump power of 2.21 W at 785nm, corresponding to a slope efficiency of 42.1% and optical to optical efficiency of 22%. We describe the output performances of the 1030 nm transition in Yb:YAG under in-band pumping with diode laser at the 968
nm wavelength. An end-pumped Yb:YAG crystal yielded 1.93 W of continuous-wave (CW) output power for 9.1 W of absorbed pump
power. The slope efficiency with respect to the absorbed pump power was 23.6%. Furthermore, 205 mW 515 nm green light was
acquired by frequency doubling, resulting in an optical-to-optical efficiency with respect to the absorbed pump power of 2.7%.
Comparative results obtained for the pump with diode laser at 940 nm are given in order to prove the advantages of the in-band

报道了一种新型自倍频晶体Yb∶Gd0.2Y0.75(BO3)4(Yb∶GdYAB)在二极管激光器端面抽运条件下的连续光激光运转。为了实现紧凑的新型全固态激光器的激光运转,设计了一个平平谐振腔,两个镜子的分开距离仅为1 cm,在这种腔结构下,得到了中心波长为1044 nm的基频激光输出,当吸收抽运功率为4.22 W时,基频激光的最大输出功率为1.38 W,相应功率曲线最大斜效率为54%。为获得有效的自倍频激光输出,换用了平凹腔进行了自倍频实验。自倍频光运转阈值仅为900 mW,在吸收抽运功率为3.9 W的条件下,得到144 mW的自倍频绿色激光输出,获得从二极管激光器到绿光的直接光-光转换效率为3.7%。实验结果表明Yb∶GdYAB作为一种新型的自倍频晶体,对于紧凑的1μm波段的基频光和自倍频可见光激光器都有着很大的应用潜力。 相似文献

We report on the single-longitudinal-mode Tm:YAG laser with a volume Bragg grating pumped by laser diode at room temperature.
The maximum SLM power of 142 mW was achieved under incident pump power of 3.22 W. The central wavelength was 2012.6 nm accords
with the resonant wavelength of the VBG. Three cavity lengths were used to achieve high efficiency and clear spectrum. The
maximum output power were measured to be 450.5, 451.4, and 457.3 mW at incident pump power of 3.22 W, corresponding to a slope
efficiency of 17.1, 16.9, and 16.7% for the cavity length of 30, 40, and 50 mm, respectively. 40 mm cavity length having the
cleanest spectrum among the three was used for SLM laser with one 1 mm F-P etalon inserted into the cavity. 相似文献

In this paper, a distributed Bragg reflection (DBR) type Er~(3+)/Yb~(3+) co-doped fiber laser of high output power and high slope efficiency was developed. Its gain medium was a 4.45-m-long Er3+/Yb3+ co-doped fiber. When it was pumped by a 1064-nm Nd:YAG, the linewidth of output laser was measured as 0.072 nm by 3 dB and 0.192 nm by 25 dB at 1552.08 nm. The maximum output power was measured as 69 mW. Its power stability was < 5%, side mode suppression ratio was 59 dB, and the output wavelength stability was ±0.01 nm. The laser had a threshold of 12 mW and a slope efficiency of 22%. 相似文献

High-power operation of diode-pumped fiber lasers at wavelength near 2μm are demonstrated with short length of heavily Tm3 -doped silica glass fibers. With 7-cm long fiber, a laser at near 2 μm is obtained with the threshold of 135 mW, maximum output power of 1.09 W, and slope efficiency of 9.6% with respect to the launched power from a laser diode at 790 nm. The output stability of this fiber laser is within 5%.The dependence of the performance of fiber lasers on the operation temperature and cavity configuration parameters is also investigated. 相似文献

A liquid nitrogen cooled dual-wavelength Tm,Ho:GdVO4 microchip laser is reported. The output dual wavelengths axe at 2038.9nm and 2050.1 nm. At each wavelength, the laser has a single longitudinal mode. The threshold power is nearly 20mW and the slope efficiency is 18.7%. 橘黄色波段固体激光器在基于荧光探测的生物医学诊断和显示等众多方面有着广泛的实际应用. 报道了利用532 nm的Nd∶YAG倍频激光抽运外置喇曼腔内的硝酸钡晶体,获得高效率的599 nm橘黄色喇曼激光的实验结果.对外置喇曼腔实验装置和运转参量进行了优化,喇曼振荡腔由对二阶斯托克斯光有最优化反射率的腔镜构成,对实验中所得到的二阶斯托克斯喇曼激光脉宽压缩及出现双尖峰的现象进行了分析.当抽运光功率达到4.1 W时,获得二阶斯托克斯喇曼激光功率为710 mW,输出光中心波长为599.38 nm,半峰全宽(FWHM)为1.1 nm,激光器最大光光转换效率为17.5%,斜率效率为24.8%. 相似文献

Singly 0.5 at.% Ho doped crystals of YLiF4 (YLF) and LuLiF4 (LLF) are studied under identical pump conditions in continuous-wave (CW) and Q-switched operation. Longitudinal end-pumped
CW laser performance shows Ho:LLF to have a slightly lower threshold and a slightly higher slope efficiency with respect to
absorbed pump power than Ho:YLF. Both lasers were operated on π-polarization. At a cavity output coupling of 20% and a crystal length of 30 mm, the Ho:LLF (Ho:YLF) laser yielded 18.8 W
(18 W) of CW output at a wavelength of 2067.8 nm (2064.0 nm) for 41.4 W (42.2 W) of absorbed pump power with a slope efficiency
of 67.1% (65.6%) and an optical-to-optical efficiency of 45.4% (42.6%) with respect to absorbed pump power. With the same
output coupling and a crystal length of 40 mm, the Ho:LLF (Ho:YLF) laser yielded 20.5 W (18.1 W) of CW output at a wavelength
of 2067.7 nm (2064.3 nm) for 51.5 W (50.0 W) of absorbed pump power with a slope efficiency of 58.4% (55.4%) and an optical-to-optical
efficiency of 39.8 (36.1%) with respect to absorbed pump power. The influence of the temperature of the cooling mount on CW
laser performance was studied and showed very similar results for both laser materials. At full pump power, a slope of −155 mW/°C
(−149 mW/°C) was observed for the Ho:LLF (Ho:YLF) laser with a crystal length of 30 mm. In Q-switched operation, the Ho:LLF
(Ho:YLF) laser produced 37 mJ (38.5 mJ) at a repetition rate of 100 Hz with a pulse duration of 38 ns (35 ns) at a wavelength
of 2053.1 nm (2050.2 nm) with a slope efficiency of 30.3% (31%) and an optical-to-optical efficiency of 14.2% (13.9%) with
respect to absorbed pump power. The beam quality was nearly diffraction limited (M

We report, for the first time to our knowledge, diode-pumped cw laser oscillation of Pr3+:LiYF4 in the red spectral range. The pump power is provided by a GaN laser diode emitting a maximum output power of 25 mW at a wavelength of approximately 442 nm. The Pr3+ laser emits 1.8 mW of output power at a 639.7-nm wavelength.
