We present and study a new construction of singular symmetric functionals on Marcinkiewicz function spaces, which may be considered as a counterpart of an earlier construction by Dixmier of nonnormal traces on certain operator ideals. We also exhibit new examples of symmetric function spaces which are not subspaces of any Marcinkiewicz space and which admit nontrivial singular symmetric functionals. The purpose of this paper is to derive quadrature estimates on compact, homogeneous manifolds embedded in Euclidean spaces, via energy functionals associated with a class of group-invariant kernels which are generalizations of zonal kernels on the spheres or radial kernels in euclidean spaces. Our results apply, in particular, to weighted Riesz kernels defined on spheres and certain projective spaces. Our energy functionals describe both uniform and perturbed uniform distribution of quadrature point sets.  相似文献

We obtain a formula for the Sobolev inner product in standard weighted Bergman spaces of holomorphic functions on a bounded symmetric domain in terms of the Peter–Weyl components in the Hua–Schmidt decomposition, and use it to clarify the relationship between the analytic continuation of these standard weighted Bergman spaces and the Sobolev spaces on bounded symmetric domains.  相似文献

The minimal unitary dilations of contraction semigroups on Hilbert spaces naturally yield systems of orthogonal projections with pre-Markovian properties. Antisymmetric second quantization is a functorial construction on Hilbert space contractions which takes semigroups into doubly Markovian contraction semigroups on a scale of Banach spaces associated with certain Clifford algebras. Multiplicative functionals are introduced which are related to perturbations of these semigroups by a formula of the Feynman-Kac-Nelson type.  相似文献

Under some general assumptions on weight, we give a complete characterization of the Cauchy transform of continuous linear functionals on the weighted spaces of holomorphic functions in a ball. We construct an integral projection that sends the weighted spaces of measurable and n-harmonic functions in the ball onto the corresponding spaces of holomorphic functions.  相似文献

In the paper, the spaces of weakly additive τ-smooth and Radon functionals are investigated. It is proved that the functors of weakly additive τ-smooth and Radon functionals weakly preserve the density of Tychonoff spaces, and the functor of weakly additive τ-smooth functionals forms a monad in the category of Tychonoff spaces and their continuous mappings. Examples and remarks are given showing that these functors fail to satisfy certain Shchepin normality conditions. Problems having positive solutions for normal functors are presented.  相似文献

We deal with the basic convexity properties –rotundity, and uniform, local uniform and full rotundity –- for symmetric spaces. A characterization of Orlicz–Lorentz spaces with the Kadec–Klee property for pointwise convergence is given. These results are applied to obtain criteria of convexity properties for Orlicz–Lorentz sequence spaces, and some new proofs of the sufficiency part of criteria for rotundity and uniform rotundity for Orlicz–Lorentz function spaces.  相似文献

This paper deals with the worst case setting for approximating multivariate tensor product linear operators defined over Hilbert spaces. Approximations are obtained by using a number of linear functionals from a given class of information. We consider the three classes of information: the class of all linear functionals, the Fourier class of inner products with respect to given orthonormal elements, and the standard class of function values. We wish to determine which problems are tractable and which are strongly tractable. The complete analysis is provided for approximating operators of rank two or more. The problem of approximating linear functionals is fully analyzed in the first two classes of information. For the third class of standard information we show that the possibilities are very rich. We prove that tractability of linear functionals depends on the given space of functions. For some spaces all nontrivial normed linear functionals are intractable, whereas for other spaces all linear functionals are tractable. In “typical” function spaces, some linear functionals are tractable and some others are not.  相似文献

We construct Sobolev spaces and energy functionals over maps between metric spaces under the strong measure contraction property of Bishop–Gromov type, which is a generalized notion of Ricci curvature bounded below. We also present the notion of generalized measure contraction property, which gives a characterization of energies by approximating energies of Sturm type over Lipschitz maps.  相似文献

We determine all irreducible homogeneous bundles with anti-self-dual canonical connections on compact quaternion symmetric spaces. To deform the canonical connections, we give a relation between the representation theory and the theory of monads on the twistor space. The moduli spaces are described via the Bott-Borel-Weil Thereom. The Horrocks bundle is also generalized to higher-dimensional projective spaces.

We study sufficient conditions for general integral functionals in Lebesgue spaces to possess regularizing properties required for solving nonlinear ill-posed problems. We select special classes of such functionals: uniformly convex and quasiuniformly convex (in the extended sense). We give a series of examples and, in particular, a functional that can be used in a generalized version of the maximum entropy method in Lebesgue spaces.  相似文献

The problem of estimating linear functionals based on Gaussian observations is considered. Probabilistic error is used as a measure of accuracy and attention is focused on the construction of adaptive estimators which are simultaneously near optimal under probabilistic error over a collection of convex parameter spaces. In contrast to mean squared error it is shown that fully rate optimal adaptive estimators can be constructed for probabilistic error. A general construction of such estimators is provided and examples are given to illustrate the general theory.  相似文献

Symmetric spaces of Cayley type are a higher dimensional analogue of a one-sheeted hyperboloid in R3. They form an important class of causal symmetric spaces. To a symmetric space of Cayley type M, one can associate a bounded symmetric domain of tube type D. We determine the full causal automorphism group of M. This clarifies the relation between the causal automorphism group and the holomorphic automorphism group of D.  相似文献
