Novel palladium‐1,3‐dialkylperhydrobenzimidazolin‐2‐ylidene (2a–c) and palladium‐1,3‐dialkylimidazolin‐2‐ylidene complexes (4a,b) have been prepared and characterized by C, H, N analysis, 1H‐NMR and 13C‐NMR. Styrene or phenylboronic acid reacts with aryl halide derivatives in the presence of catalytic amounts of the new palladium‐carbene complexes, PdCl2(1,3‐dialkylperhydrobenzimidazolin‐2‐ylidene) or PdCl2(1,3‐dialkylimidazolin‐2‐ylidene) to give the corresponding C? C coupling products in good yields. Copyright © 2006 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The in situ prepared three‐component system Pd(OAc)2–1,3‐dialkylbenzimidazolium chlorides ( 2a – f ) and Cs2CO3 catalyses, quantitatively, the Suzuki cross‐coupling of deactivated aryl chlorides and Heck coupling reactions of aryl bromide and iodide substrates. The 1,3‐dialkylbenzimidazolium salts ( 2a – f ) were characterized by conventional spectroscopic methods and elemental analysis. Copyright © 2005 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The Suzuki cross‐coupling reaction of various bromine‐containing substrates and phenylboronic acid in toluene at 90 °C on a Pd(AcO)2Py2 catalyst supported on an Mg? Al hydrotalcite, using K2CO3 as the base, was studied. The conversion and selectivity results obtained for many of the substrates were excellent and similar to those provided by more active or even homogeneous catalysts. The reactions of aryl polybromides and phenylboronic acid gave the corresponding polyaromatic compounds in variable yields depending on the particular substrate. Arylation occurred in a consecutive manner by substitution of the different Br atoms. ICP‐MS measurements of the palladium content of the catalyst performed prior to and after the reaction revealed that part of the metal is incorporated into the bulk solution; therefore, the catalytic process is not purely heterogeneous. A range of sterically hindered diimine ligands and their palladium (II) complexes were synthesized. These compounds were fully characterized by elemental analysis, 1H and 13C‐NMR spectroscopy. The use of the palladium complexes as catalysts for Suzuki and Heck coupling has been studied in an attempt to demonstrate the effect of side groups on catalytic activity. It was clearly seen that the location of side ? CH3 groups which bound to benzene ring had little effect on catalytic activity. Interestingly when we changed these ? CH3 groups with ? Cl groups the activity of the complexes increased. On the other hand, side groups which bound to imine nitrogen also had a large effect on catalytic activity. The reaction of 2‐(aminomethyl)aniline with 2 equivalents of PPh2Cl in the presence of Et3N, proceeds in CH2Cl2 to give N,N′‐bis(diphenylphosphino)‐2‐(aminomethyl)aniline 1 in good yield. Oxidation of 1 with aqueous H2O2, elemental sulfur or gray selenium gave the corresponding oxide, sulfide and selenide dichalcogenides [Ph2P(E)NHC6H4CH2NHP(E)Ph2] (E: O, 2a; S, 2b; Se, 2c), respectively. The reaction of [Ph2PNHC6H4CH2NHPPh2] with PdCl2(cod), PtCl2(cod) and [Cu(MeCN)4]PF6 gave the corresponding chelate complexes, PdCl21, PtCl21 and [Cu(1)2]PF6. The new compounds were fully characterized by NMR, IR spectroscopy and elemental analysis. The catalytic activity of the Pd(II) complex was tested in the Suzuki coupling and Heck reactions. The Pd(II) complex catalyzes the Suzuki coupling and Heck reaction, affording biphenyls and stilbenes respectively, in good yields. Copyright © 2009 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

A palladium(0) nanocluster supported on hydrotalcite has been prepared and tested for the Suzuki coupling reaction. The prepared catalyst showed very efficient catalytic activity for cross coupling of iodo- and bromoarenes under very mild reaction conditions, affording >90% yield. Under the optimized reaction conditions, chloroarenenes also showed very good reactivity. Transmission electron microscopic imaging data showed the formation of very small Pd(0)-nanoclusters (d = 2.2 ± 0.5 nm) well dispersed on the support, which enhanced the activity and stability of the catalyst for the Suzuki cross-coupling reaction. This catalytic system offers an easy method of preparation with good activity and reusability up to five cycles.  相似文献

In this work, palladium complexes nanoparticles in titania are prepared by a pH‐controlled adsorption and without pH‐controlled adsorption method. This method results in high‐dispersion palladium on the titania surface. We demonstrate the use of the titania‐supported palladium as an efficient catalyst for Suzuki and Heck reactions of a representative range of aryl bromides and chlorides. The reusability of catalyst was tested, and deactivation process of the catalyst was not observed after four recycles. The catalysts were characterized by FT‐IR, NMR, elemental analysis, field emission scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy and X‐ray diffraction. Herein we report a new method for the synthesis and characterization of PVP‐stabilized palladium(0) nanoclusters and their enhanced catalytic activity in Suzuki coupling and Heck reactions of aryl bromides with phenylboronic acid and styrene, respectively, under mild conditions. The PVP‐stabilized palladium(0) nanoclusters with a particle size of 4.5 ± 1.1 nm were prepared using a new method: refluxing a mixture of potassium tetrachloropalladate(II) and PVP in methanol at 80 °C for 1 h followed by reduction with sodium borohydride. Palladium(0) nanoclusters prepared in this way were stable in solution for weeks, could be isolated as solid materials and were characterized by TEM, XPS, UV–vis, and XRD techniques. The PVP‐stabilized palladium(0) nanoclusters were active catalysts in Heck and Suzuki coupling reactions of arylbromides with styrene and phenylboronic acid affording stilbenes and biphenyls, respectively, in high yield. Recycling experiments showed that PVP‐stabilized palladium(0) nanoclusters could be used five times with essentially no loss in activity in the Heck and Suzuki coupling reactions. A simple and efficient system for Suzuki cross-coupling reactions was developed using a ligandless catalyst of Pd nanoclusters generated in situ from Pd(acac)2. The cross-coupling reactions proceeded under mild reaction conditions with a high reaction rate (5 min) to give various biaryls in high yields. The system also exhibited catalytic potential for Heck reaction between aryl bromides and styrene.  相似文献

Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) micro-spheres, a kind of commercially available polymeric material was treated with PdCl2 and formaldehyde giving a reagent with a palladium loading of 0.79 (wt.%). The Pd-PMMA catalyzed the highly efficient Heck and Suzuki reactions. The reactions can be performed under ligand-free conditions in an air atmosphere. The palladium catalyst is easily separated and can be reusable with negligible leaching of palladium.  相似文献

Palladium(II) complexes containing phosphorus and nitrogen donor atoms (iminophosphine), dichlorido{N‐[2‐(diphenylphosphino)benzylidene]‐2‐trifluoromethylaniline}palladium(II) 1 , dichlorido{N‐[2‐(diphenylphosphino)benzylidene]‐3‐trifluoromethylaniline}palladium(II) 2 , dichlorido{N‐[2‐(diphenylphosphino)benzylidene]‐2‐methylaniline}palladium(II) 3 , dichlorido{N‐[2‐(diphenylphosphino)benzylidene]‐3‐methylaniline}palladium(II) 4 have been successfully synthesized and fully characterized by FT‐IR and NMR (1H, 31P, 19F, and 13C) spectroscopy techniques. These complexes were first step tested in the reaction of bromobenzene and styrene to determine the optimal coupling reaction conditions and then successfully applied as catalysts for Heck cross‐coupling reactions of activated and deactivated aryl bromides with styrene derivatives and several acrylates. The phosphorus ylide [Ph3PCHC(O)C6H4‐NO2–4] reacted with Pd(OAc)2 to give the C,C‐orthometallated complex [Pd{κ2(C,C)‐C6H4PPh2C(H)CO(C6H4‐NO2–4)}(μ‐OAc)]2, which underwent bridge exchange reaction with NaN3, NaCl, KBr and KI, respectively, to afford the binuclear C,C‐orthopalladated complexes [Pd{κ2(C,C)‐C6H4PPh2C(H)CO(C6H4‐NO2–4)}(μ‐X)]2 (X = N3 ( 1 ), Cl ( 2 ), Br ( 3 ) and I ( 4 )). The complexes were identified using spectroscopy (infrared and NMR), CHNS technique and single‐crystal X‐ray structure analysis. Thereafter, palladium nanoparticles with narrow size distribution were easily prepared using the refluxing reaction of iodo‐bridged orthopalladated complex 4 with poly(N ‐vinyl‐2‐pyrrolidone) (PVP) as the protecting group. The PVP‐stabilized palladium nanoparticles were characterized using a variety of techniques including X‐ray diffraction, transmission and scanning electron microscopies, energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy, inductively coupled plasma analysis and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The catalytic activity of the PVP‐stabilized palladium nanoparticles was evaluated in the Suzuki reaction of phenylboronic acid and the Heck reaction of styrene with aryl halides of varying electron densities. This catalyst exhibited excellent catalytic activity for Suzuki cross‐coupling reactions in ethanol–water. Notably, aryl chlorides which are cheaper and more accessible than their bromide and iodide counterparts also reacted satisfactorily using this catalyst. After completion of reactions, the catalyst could be separated using a simple method and used many times in repeat cycles without considerable loss in its activity.  相似文献

The reactions of thiophene‐2‐(N‐diphenylphosphino)methylamine, Ph2PNHCH2‐C4H3S, 1 and thiophene‐2‐[N,N‐bis(diphenylphosphino)methylamine], (Ph2P)2NCH2‐C4H3S, 2, with MCl2(cod) (M = Pd, Pt; cod = 1,5‐cyclooctadiene) or [Cu(CH3CN)4]PF6 yields the new complexes [M(Ph2PNHCH2‐C4H3S)2Cl2], M = Pd 1a, Pt 1b, [Cu(Ph2PNHCH2‐C4H3S)4]PF6, 1c, and [M(Ph2P)2NCH2‐C4H3S)Cl2], M = Pd 2a, Pt 2b, {Cu[(Ph2P)2NCH2‐C4H3S]2}PF6, 2c, respectively. The new compounds were isolated as analytically pure crystalline solids and characterized by 31P‐, 13C‐, 1H‐NMR and IR spectroscopy and elemental analysis. Furthermore, the solid‐state molecular structures of representative palladium and platinum complexes of bis(phosphine)amine, 2a and 2b, respectively, were determined using single crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis. The palladium complexes were tested as potential catalysts in the Heck and Suzuki cross‐coupling reactions. Copyright © 2009 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

A stable and powerful heterogeneous palladium catalyst was synthesized using immobilized palladium on (S)‐methyl histidinate bonded onto the surface of multi‐walled carbon nanotubes. The catalyst was characterized using a combination of Fourier transform infrared and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopies, transmission electron microscopy, X‐ray powder diffraction and inductively coupled plasma, thermogravimetric and elemental analyses. This new air‐ and moisture‐stable phosphine‐free palladium catalyst was found to be highly active and reusable in Mizoroki–Heck and Suzuki–Miyaura cross‐coupling reactions in poly(ethylene glycol) and aqueous ethanol as green solvents using an extremely small amount of palladium under mild conditions. An efficient catalytic system based on a new palladium–bis(oxazoline) ( Pd-BOX-1 ) complex has been developed. The complex Pd-BOX-1 adopts a legless chair‐type structure where the distorted square planar [PdN2Cl2] moiety and the benzene ring spacer represent the seat and the chair back, respectively. The catalytic activity of Pd-BOX-1 has been investigated in dimethylformamide–water under aerobic and mild conditions in Suzuki–Miyaura coupling reactions of arylboronic acids with aryl iodides, aryl bromides and aryl chlorides, Mizoroki–Heck coupling reactions of aryl halides with styrene derivatives, and Sonogashira coupling reactions of aryl halides with terminal alkynes. A wide range of functional groups as substituents on the arylboronic acids and aryl halides were considered. Pd-BOX-1 demonstrates exceptional air and moisture stability. Of note, the catalyst system based on Pd-BOX-1 shows high recycling ability in Suzuki–Miyaura coupling reactions in dimethylformamide–water without any loss in catalytic activity. N‐Aryl amination and the Buchwald–Hartwig reaction are of great synthetic and industrial interest and scientists accept their usefulness and versatility for obtaining arylamines. In this study Ag–N‐heterocyclic carbene complexes were used as transmetallation reagents for the synthesis of Pd–N‐heterocyclic carbene complexes. The new Pd–N‐heterocyclic carbene complexes were characterized using elemental analysis and 1H NMR, 13C NMR and infrared spectroscopies. The crystal structure of one, namely dichlorobis[1,3‐bis(2‐methylbenzyl)imidazolidin‐2‐yliden]palladium(II), is presented. The activity of the Pd(II) complexes in the coupling reaction of anilines or amines with bromobenzene was investigated. These complexes exhibited high catalytic activities in the direct synthesis of triarylamines and secondary amines in a single step. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

A mixture of bis‐benzimidazole salts ( 1–7 ), Pd(OAc)2 and K2CO3 in DMF ? H2O catalyzes, in high yield, the Suzuki and Heck cross‐coupling reactions assisted by microwave irradiation in a short time. In particular, the yields of the Heck and Suzuki reactions with aryl bromides were found to be nearly quantative. The synthesized bis‐benzimidazole salts ( 1 – 7 ) were identified by 1H? 13C NMR, IR spectroscopic methods and micro analysis. Copyright © 2010 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献
