Studies on the subtle effects and roles of polyatomic anions in the self-assembly of a series of AgX complexes with 2,4'-Py(2)S (X(-) = NO(3)(-), BF(4)(-), ClO(4)(-), PF(6)(-), CF(3)CO(2)(-), and CF(3)SO(3)(-); 2,4'-Py(2)S = 2,4'-thiobis(pyridine)) have been carried out. The formation of products appears to be primarily associated with a suitable combination of the skewed conformers of 2,4'-Py(2)S and a variety of coordination geometries of Ag(I) ions. The molecular construction via self-assembly is delicately dependent upon the nature of the anions. Coordinating anions afford the 1:1 adducts [Ag(2,4'-Py(2)S)X] (X(-) = NO(3)(-) and CF(3)CO(2)(-)), whereas noncoordinating anions form the 3:4 adducts [Ag(3)(2,4'-Py(2)S)(4)]X(3) (X(-) = ClO(4)(-) and PF(6)(-)). Each structure seems to be constructed by competition between pi-pi interactions of 2,4'-Py(2)S spacers vs Ag.X interactions. For ClO(4)(-) and PF(6)(-), an anion-free network consisting of linear Ag(I) and trigonal Ag(I) in a 1:2 ratio has been obtained whereas, for the coordinating anions NO(3)(-) and CF(3)CO(2)(-), an anion-bridged helix sheet and an anion-bridged cyclic dimer chain, respectively, have been assembled. For a moderately coordinating anion, CF(3)SO(3)(-), the 3:4 adduct [Ag(3)(2,4'-Py(2)S)(4)](CF(3)SO(3))(3) has been obtained similarly to the noncoordinating anions, but its structure is a double strand via both face-to-face (pi-pi) stackings and Ag.Ag interactions, in contrast to the noncoordinating anions. The anion exchanges of [Ag(3)(2,4'-Py(2)S)(4)]X(3) (X(-) = BF(4)(-), ClO(4)(-), and PF(6)(-)) with BF(4)(-), ClO(4)(-), and PF(6)(-) in aqueous media indicate that a [BF(4)(-)] analogue is isostructural with [Ag(3)(2,4'-Py(2)S)(4)]X(3) (X(-) = ClO(4)(-) and PF(6)(-)). Furthermore, the anion exchangeability for the noncoordinating anion compounds and the X-ray data for the coordinating anion compounds establish the coordinating order to be NO(3)(-) > CF(3)CO(2)(-) > CF(3)SO(3)(-) > PF(6)(-) > ClO(4)(-) > BF(4)(-).  相似文献

The [Co(9)P(CO)(21)](2)(-) anion has been isolated from the products of the reaction between Na[Co(CO)(4)] and PCl(5) in tetrahydrofuran at reflux. The structure of the cluster anion [Co(9)P(CO)(21)](2)(-) in its tetraphenylphosphonium salt has been elucidated by X-ray analysis. The crystals are monoclinic, space group P2(1)/n, a = 12.528(3), b = 14.711(5), c = 19.312(6) A, beta = 93.68(2) degrees, Z = 2. Final R = 0.065 for 2300 unique reflections having I > 3sigma(I). The anion, which is disordered about an inversion center, consists of a monocapped square antiprismatic cluster containing an interstitial phosphide and surrounded by 13 terminal and 8 edge-bridging carbonyl ligands. Average values are: Co-Co 2.685 A, and Co-P 2.256 A. The [Co(10)P(CO)(22)](3)(-) anion has been obtained by condensation of the [Co(9)P(CO)(21)](2)(-) anion with [Co(CO)(4)](-) in tetrahydrofuran at reflux. While the [Co(9)P(CO)(21)](2)(-) anion is stable under CO, the [Co(10)P(CO)(22)](3)(-) anion is decomposed to [Co(9)P(CO)(21)](2)(-) and [Co(CO)(4)](-). The benzyltrimethylammonium salt of the [Co(10)P(CO)(22)](3)(-) anion has been studied by X-ray analysis. It gives triclinic crystals, space group P_1, a = 11.452(3), b = 23.510(6), c = 25.606(4) A, alpha = 112.46(1), beta = 95.79(1), gamma = 73.548(2) degrees, Z = 4. Final R = 0.041 for 8600 unique reflections having I > 3sigma(I). There are two independent trianions in the asymmetric unit, both showing similar geometries, consisting of bicapped square antiprismatic clusters with a central P atom, each bearing 10 terminal and 12 edge-bridging carbonyl ligands, 8 of which, bound to the capping metals, are markedly asymmetric. Average values are: Co-Co 2.678 A, and Co-P 2.262 A. Electrochemistry shows that [Co(9)P(CO)(21)](2)(-) and [Co(10)P(CO)(22)](3)(-) in acetonitrile solution undergo either a one-electron oxidation or a two-electron reduction. This latter process appears as a single step in the case of the dianion and as two separated one-electron steps in the case of the trianion. All the processes are accompanied by slow chemical complications, thus testifying that no stable redox congeners exist for these phosphide clusters.  相似文献

A series of the first coordination polymers using the [Au(CN)(4)](-) anion as a building block has been prepared. The planar tetracyanoaurate anion uses one, two, or four cyano groups to bridge to Ni(II) or Cu(II) centers and exhibits weak Au(III)-N(cyano) interactions between anions. Ni(en)(2)[Au(CN)(4)](2).H(2)O (1, en = ethylenediamine) is a molecular compound with the two [Au(CN)(4)](-) anions coordinating in a trans orientation to Ni(II) without further cyanide coordination. Cu(dien)[Au(CN)(4)](2) (2, dien = diethylenetriamine) forms a similar molecular complex; however, the dimensionality is increased through weak intermolecular Au-N(cyano) interactions of 3.002(14) A to form a 1-D zigzag chain. Cu(en)(2)[Au(CN)(4)](2) (3) also forms a molecular complex similar to 1, but with elongated axial bonds. The complex further aggregates through Au-N(cyano) interactions of 3.035(8) A to form a 2-D array. In [Cu(dmeda)(2)Au(CN)(4)][Au(CN)(4)] (4, dmeda = N,N-dimethylethylenediamine) one [Au(CN)(4)](-) anion coordinates via two cis-N(cyano) donors to the axial sites of two Cu(II) centers to form a 1-D zigzag chain of alternating [Cu(dmeda)(2)](2+) and [Au(CN)(2)](-) units; the other [Au(CN)(4)](-) anion forms a 1-D chain via Au-N(cyano) interactions. In [Cu(bipy)(H(2)O)(2)(Au(CN)(4))(0.5)][Au(CN)(4)](1.5) (5, bipy = 2,2'-bipyridine) one [Au(CN)(4)](-) anion uses all four cyano moieties to bridge four different Cu(II) centers, creating a 1-D chain.  相似文献

The complexes [Pd(eta2-dmfu)(P-N)] [P-N = 2-(PPh2)C6H4-1-CH=NR, R = C(6)H(4)OMe-4; CHMe2; C6H3Me2-2,6; C6H3(CHMe2)-2,6] react with an excess of BrC6H4R1-4 (R1= CF3; Me) yielding the oxidative addition products [PdBr(C6H4R1-4)(P-N)] at different rates depending on R [C6H4OMe-4 > C6H3(CHMe2)-2,6 > CHMe2 approximately C6H3Me2-2,6] and R1 (CF3> Me). In the presence of K2CO3 and activated olefins (ol = dmfu, fn), the latter compounds react with an excess of 4-R2C6H4B(OH)2 (R2= H, Me, OMe, Cl) to give [Pd(eta2-ol)(P-N)] and the corresponding biaryl through transmetallation and fast reductive elimination. The transmetallation proceeds via a palladium(II) intermediate with an O-bonded boron anion, the formation of which is markedly retarded by increasing the bulkiness of R. The intermediate was isolated for R = CHMe2, R1 = CF3 and R2= H. The boron anion is formulated as a diphenylborinate anion associated with phenylboronic acid and/or as a phenylboronate anion associated with diphenylborinic acid. In general, the oxidative addition proceeds at a lower rate than transmetallation and represents the rate-determining-step in the coupling reaction of aryl bromides with arylboronic acids catalyzed by [Pd(eta2-dmfu)(P-N)].  相似文献

A novel colorimetric sensor based on 8-hydroxy quinoline-5-azo-4'-nitrobenzene (1) was prepared and used for recognizing anions. 1 and its metal complex (1.Co) were found to show response to anions such as CH(3)CO(2)(-), H(2)PO(4)(-), HSO(4)(-), F(-) and dramatic color changes were observed. The selectivity and sensitivity of 1 and 1.Co for sensing anions were different, which was in the order of CH(3)CO(2)(-)>F(-)>H(2)PO(4)(-)>HSO(4)(-) for 1 and H(2)PO(4)(-)>HSO(4)(-)>CH(3)CO(2)(-) approximately F(-) for 1.Co, respectively. In CH(3)CN, sensor 1.Co exhibited excellent specificity toward H(2)PO(4)(-), and the color variety was dependent on the concentration of H(2)PO(4)(-) which was attributed to anion structure and stability of anionic complex (1-anion), metal complex (1-Co) and inorganic complex (Co-anion).  相似文献

The salt effects on the water solubility of thermoresponsive hyperbranched polyethylenimine and polyamidoamine possessing large amounts of isobutyramide terminal groups (HPEI-IBAm and HPAMAM-IBAm) were studied systematically. Eight anions with sodium as the counterion and ten cations with chloride as the counterion were used to measure the anion and cation effects on the cloud point temperature (T(cp)) of these dendritic polymers in water. It was found that the T(cp) of these dendritic polymers was much more sensitive to the addition of salts than that of the traditional thermoresponsive linear polymers. At low anion concentration, the electrostatic interaction between anions and the positively charged groups of these polymers was dominant, resulting in the unusual anion effect on the T(cp) of these polymers in water, including (1) T(cp) of these dendritic polymers decreasing nonlinearly with the increase of kosmotropic anion concentration; (2) the chaotropic anions showing abnormal salting-out property at low salt concentration and the stronger chaotropes having much pronounced salting-out ability; (3) anti-Hofmeister ordering at low salt concentration. At moderate to high salt concentration, the specific ranking of these anions in reducing the T(cp) of HPEI-IBAm and HPAMAM-IBAm polymers was PO(4)(3-) > CO(3)(2-) > SO(4)(2-) > S(2)O(3)(2-) > F(-) > Cl(-) > Br(-) > I(-), in accordance with the well-known Hofmeister series. At moderate to high salt concentration, the specific ranking order of inorganic cations in reducing the T(cp) of HPEI-IBAm polymer was Sr(2+) ≈ Ba(2+) > Na(+) ≈ K(+) ≈ Rb(+) > Cs(+) > NH(4)(+) ≈ Ca(2+) > Li(+) ≈ Mg(2+). This sequence was only partially similar to the typical Hofmeister cation series, whereas at low salt concentration the cation effect on T(cp) of the dendritic polymer was insignificant and no obvious specific ranking order could be found.  相似文献

A structurally simple colorimetric sensor, N-4-nitrobenzene-N'-1'-anthraquinone-thiourea (1), for anions was synthesized and characterized by (1)H NMR, ESI mass and IR methods. In acetonitrile, the addition of F(-) changed 1 solution from colorless to yellow. In the presence of other anions such as CH(3)CO(2)(-), H(2)PO(4)(-), HSO(4)(-) and Cl(-), however, the absorption spectrum of 1 was slightly red shifted with no obvious color changes observed. The association constants of anionic complexes followed the order of F(-)>CH(3)CO(2)(-)>H(2)PO(4)(-)>HSO(4)(-)>Cl(-)>Br(-), which was different from the order of anion basicity. AM1 calculation results indicated that the most stable configuration of 1 existed in the Z-E-conformation with a six-membered ring via intramolecular hydrogen bond. This made thiourea moiety of 1 in an unfavorable conformation to bond with oxygen-anionic substrates such as CH(3)CO(2)(-) and H(2)PO(4)(-), thus leading to a high selectivity and sensitivity for the detection of F(-).  相似文献

Coatings of hydrotalcite-like nitrate-intercalated Mg/Al layered double hydroxides are electrochemically deposited on a Pt electrode by electrogeneration of base by reduction of a mixed metal nitrate aqueous solution. As-prepared coatings are stable to workup and function as rugged electrodes. The voltammetric response generated by anion exchange of intercalated nitrate for dissolved anions from solution under equilibrium conditions is employed to estimate the thermodynamic stabilities of the Mg/Al layered double hydroxides comprising different anions relative to the nitrate-containing phase. Among monovalent anions, the most stable is the fluoride-containing LDH (ΔG° = -48.7 kJ mol(-1)) relative to the nitrate-containing LDH. The stability in aqueous phase decreases as F(-) > Cl(-) > Br(-) > NO(2)(-) > NO(3)(-), whereas, among divalent anions, SO(4)(2-) (ΔG° = -8.7 kJ mol(-1)) > CO(3)(2-) (ΔG° = 14.3 kJ mol(-1)). The results of monovalent ions match well with the Miyata series, whereas the divalent anion series is at variance with the commonly held belief that carbonate-LDHs are more stable than sulfate-LDHs.  相似文献

The bis(benzene-o-dithiol) ligands H(4)-1, H(4)-2, and H(4)-3 react with [Ti(OC(2)H(5))(4)] to give dinuclear triple-stranded helicates [Ti(2)L(3)](4)(-) (L = 1(4)(-), 2(4)(-), 3(4)(-)). NMR spectroscopic investigations revealed that the complex anions possess C(3) symmetry in solution. A crystal structure analysis for (PNP)(4)[Ti(2)(2)(3)] ((PNP)(4)[14]) confirmed the C(3) symmetry for the complex anion in the solid state. The complex anion in Li(PNP)(3)[Ti(2)(1)(3)] (Li(PNP)(3)[13]) does not exhibit C(3) symmetry in the solid state due to the formation of polymeric chains of lithium bridged complex anions. Complexes [13](4)(-) and [14](4)(-) were obtained as racemic mixtures of the Delta,Delta and Lambda,Lambda isomers. In contrast to that, complex (PNP)(4)[Ti(2)(3)(3)] ((PNP)(4)[15]) with the enantiomerically pure chiral ligand 3(4)(-) shows a strong Cotton effect in the CD spectrum, indicating that the chirality of the ligands leads to the formation of chiral metal centers. The o-phenylene diamine bridged bis(benzene-o-dithiol) ligand H(4)-4 reacts with Ti(4+) to give the dinuclear double-stranded complex Li(2)[Ti(2)(4)(2)(mu-OCH(3))(2)] containing two bridging methoxy ligands between the metal centers. The crystal structure analysis and the (1)H NMR spectrum of (Ph(4)As)(2)[Ti(2)(4)(2)(mu-OCH(3))(2)] ((Ph(4)As)(2)[(16]) reveal C(2) symmetry for the anion [Ti(2)(4)(2)(mu-OCH(3))(2)](2)(-). For a comparative study the dicatechol ligand H(4)-5, containing the same o-phenylene diamine bridging group as the bis(benzene-o-dithiol) ligands H(4)-4, was prepared and reacted with [TiO(acac)(2)] to give the dinuclear complex anion [Ti(2)(5)(2)(mu-OCH(3))(2)](2)(-). The molecular structure of (PNP)(2)[Ti(2)(5)(2)(mu-OCH(3))(2)] ((PNP)(2)[17]) contains a complex anion which is similar to [16](2)(-), with the exception that strong N-H...O hydrogen bonds are formed in complex anion [17](2)(-), while N-H...S hydrogen bonds are absent in complex anion [16](2)(-).  相似文献

The infrared photodissociation spectroscopy of mass-selected mononuclear iron carbonyl anions Fe(CO)(n)(-) (n = 2-8) were studied in the carbonyl stretching frequency region. The FeCO(-) anion does not fragment when excited with infrared light. Only a single IR active band was observed for the Fe(CO)(2)(-) and Fe(CO)(3)(-) anions, consistent with theoretical predictions that these complexes have linear D(∞h) and planar D(3h) symmetry, respectively. The Fe(CO)(4)(-) anion is the most intense peak in the mass spectra and was characterized to have a completed coordination sphere with high stability. Anion clusters larger than n = 4 were determined to involve a Fe(CO)(4)(-) core anion that is progressively solvated by external CO molecules. Three CO stretching vibrational fundamentals were observed for the Fe(CO)(4)(-) core anion, indicating that the Fe(CO)(4)(-) anion has a C(3v) structure. All the carbonyl stretching frequencies of the Fe(CO)(n)(-) anion complexes are red-shifted with respect to those of the corresponding neutrals.  相似文献

Tridentate binding of BH(4)(-) to a zero-valent metal center was found for the first time in [Ti(CO)(4)(eta(3)-BH(4))](-) (shown in the picture), which was obtained from the reaction of the carbonyl metalate anion [Ti(CO)(6)](2-) with BH(3) small middle dotTHF. Displacement of the unusually labile BH(4)(-) anion by a pyrrolyl anion provided the first metal(0) pyrrolyl complex [Ti(CO)(4)(eta(5)-C(4)H(4)N)](-).  相似文献

Eight tris(organotin)-substituted Keggin tungstosilicate heteropolyanions have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, infrared and M?ssbauer spectroscopy, multinuclear NMR, and X-ray crystallography. The new anions contain alpha- or beta-SiW(9)O(34)(10)(-) moieties and are of two structural types, [(RSn)(3)(SiW(9)O(37))](7)(-) (R, isomer: Ph, alpha-, 1; n-Bu, alpha-, 2; Ph, beta-, 3; n-Bu, beta-, 4) and [(RSnOH)(3)(SiW(9)O(34))(2)](14)(-) (Ph, alpha-, 5; n-Bu, alpha-, 6; Ph, beta-, 7; n-Bu, beta-, 8). Crystals of Cs(4)H(3)[(PhSn)(3)(SiW(9)O(37))].8H(2)O (anion 3) are monoclinic, space group C2/c, with lattice constants a = 48.91(2) ?, b = 12.111(3) ?, c = 20.334(9) ?, beta = 102.30 degrees, and Z = 8. The anion has nominal C(3)(v)() symmetry and has a structure with three corner-shared WO(6) octahedra of the beta-Keggin anion replaced by three PhSnO(5) groups. Crystals of Cs(9)H(5)[(BuSnOH)(3)(SiW(9)O(34))(2)].36H(2)O (anion 6) are tetragonal, space group P&fourmacr;2(1)m, with lattice constants a = b = 29.005(4) ?, c = 13.412(4) ?, and Z = 4. The anion has the anticipated D(3)(h)() symmetry and contains three BuSnOH groups sandwiched between A,alpha-SiW(9)O(34)(10)(-) anions.  相似文献

The ionic multicomponent complex complex: ([Cr(I)(PhH)(2)].+))(2)[Co(II)TPP(C(60)(CN)(2))]-[C(60)(CN)(2)](.-).3(o-C(6)H(4)Cl(2)) (Co(II)TPP: cobalt (II) tetraphenylporphyrin; Cr(PhH)(2): bis(benzene)chromium; o-C(6)H(4)Cl(2): o-dichlorobenzene) containing CoTPP(C(60)(CN)(2)- anion and C(60)(CN)(2).- radical anion was obtained. The complex has the cage structure with channels, which accommodate Cr(I)(PhH)(2)(.+) and o-C(6)H(4)Cl(2) molecules. For the first time the sigma-bonding of Co(II)TPP to the fullerene radical anion with the essentially shortened Co.C(C(60)(CN)(2)) contact of 2.282 A is observed. The sigma-bonding results in the diamagnetism of Co(II)TPP(C(60)(CN)(2))(-) anion. The nonbonded C(60)(CN)(2)(.-) radical anion retains both the C(2)(v)symmetry and the shape of the molecule. The length of the C(triple bond)N bonds is 1.141 and 1.152 A.  相似文献

A kinetic study of [OsO(4)] reduction by aliphatic alcohols (MeOH and EtOH) was performed in a 2.0 M NaOH matrix at 298.1 K. The rate model that best fitted the UV-VIS data supports a one-step, two electron reduction of Os(VIII) (present as both the [Os(VIII)O(4)(OH)](-) and cis-[Os(VIII)O(4)(OH)(2)](2-) species in a ratio of 0.34:0.66) to form the trans-[Os(VI)O(2)(OH)(4)](2-) species. The formed trans-[Os(VI)O(2)(OH)(4)](2-) species subsequently reacts relatively rapidly with the cis-[Os(VIII)O(4)(OH)(2)](2-) complex anion to form a postulated [Os(VII)O(3)(OH)(3)](2-) species according to: cis-[Os(VIII)O(4)(OH)(2)](2-) + trans-[Os(VI)O(2)(OH)(4)](2-) (k+2) (k-2) 2[Os(VII)O(3)(OH)(3)](2-). The calculated forward, k(+2), and reverse, k(-2), reaction rate constants of this comproportionation reaction are 620.9 ± 14.6 M(-1) s(-1) and 65.7 ± 1.2 M(-1) s(-1) respectively. Interestingly, it was found that the postulated [Os(VII)O(3)(OH)(3)](2-) complex anion does not oxidize MeOH or EtOH. Furthermore, the reduction of Os(VIII) with MeOH or EtOH is first order with respect to the aliphatic alcohol concentration. In order to corroborate the formation of the [Os(VII)O(3)(OH)(3)](2-) species predicted with the rate model simulations, several Os(VIII)/Os(VI) mole fraction and mole ratio titrations were conducted in a 2.0 M NaOH matrix at 298.1 K under equilibrium conditions. These titrations confirmed that the cis-[Os(VIII)O(4)(OH)(2)](2-) and trans-[Os(VI)O(2)(OH)(4)](2-) species react in a 1:1 ratio with a calculated equilibrium constant, K(COM), of 9.3 ± 0.4. The ratio of rate constants k(+2) and k(-2) agrees quantitatively with K(COM), satisfying the principle of detailed balance. In addition, for the first time, the molar extinction coefficient spectrum of the postulated [Os(VII)O(3)(OH)(3)](2-) complex anion is reported.  相似文献

Density functional calculations have been used to investigate the interaction between Pd(n) clusters (n = 1-6) and 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium (Bmim(+)) based ionic liquids (ILs) with the anions [Cl(-)], [BF(4)(-)] and [PF(6)(-)]. The interaction of small Pd(n) clusters (1 ≤ n ≤ 6) with a single cation or anion is also studied. The interaction strengths in anion-Pd(n) categories with n = 1-6 follow the trend [Cl(-)] > [BF(4)(-)] > [PF(6)(-)]. The cation could also form interactions with Pd(n) clusters. Compared with a single anion or cation, the interaction could be strengthened when palladium particles interact with the whole ion pair. Further studies indicated that anionPd interaction is the decisive factor in the interaction between the Pd atom and the whole ion pair. The Pd(2) dimer interacts with the whole ion pair much more strongly than the Pd atom. Solvent effects have been considered in the present study by means of the polarizable continuum model. It is found that the stability of [Bmim(+)·BF(4)(-)]-Pd(n) and [Bmim(+)·PF(6)(-)]-Pd(n) complexes with n = 1 and 2 can be improved in solvents.  相似文献

A new cyanide-containing building block K[Fe(pcq)(CN)(3)] [1; pcq(-) = 8-(pyridine-2-carboxamido)quinoline anion] containing a low-spin Fe(III) center with three cyanide groups in a meridional arrangement has been successfully designed and synthesized. Three cyanide-bridged trinuclear Fe(III)(2)Mn(II) complexes, [Fe(pcq)(CN)(3)](2)[Mn(CH(3)OH)(2)(H(2)O)(2)].2H(2)O (2), [Fe(pcq)(CN)(3)](2)[Mn(bipy)(2)].CH(3)OH.2H(2)O (3), and [Fe(pcq)(CN)(3)](2)[Mn(phen)(2)].CH(3)OH.2H(2)O (4), have been synthesized and structurally characterized. The compounds [K(18-crown-6)](3)[Ir(Se(4))(3)] (1), [K(2.2.2-cryptand)](3)[Ir(Se(4))(3)].C(6)H(5)CH(3) (2), and [K(18-crown-6)(DMF)(2)][Ir(NCCH(3))(2)(Se(4))(2)] (3) (DMF = dimethylformamide) have been prepared from the reaction of [Ir(NCCH(3))(2)(COE)(2)][BF(4)] (COE = cyclooctene) with polyselenide anions in acetonitrile/DMF. Analogous reactions utilizing [Rh(NCCH(3))(2)(COE)(2)][BF(4)] as a Rh source produce homologues of the Ir complexes; these have been characterized by (77)Se NMR spectroscopy. [NH(4)](3)[Ir(S(6))(3)].H(2)O.0.5CH(3)CH(2)OH (4) has been synthesized from the reaction of IrCl(3).nH(2)O with aqueous (NH(4))(2)S(m)(). In the structure of [K(18-crown-6)](3)[Ir(Se(4))(3)] (1) the Ir(III) center is chelated by three Se(4)(2)(-) ligands to form a distorted octahedral anion. The structure contains a disordered racemate of the Deltalambdalambdalambda and Lambdadeltadeltadelta conformers. The K(+) cations are pulled out of the planes of the crowns and interact with Se atoms of the [Ir(Se(4))(3)](3)(-) anion. [K(2.2.2-cryptand)](3)[Ir(Se(4))(3)].C(6)H(5)CH(3) (2) possesses no short K.Se interactions; here the [Ir(Se(4))(3)](3)(-) anion crystallizes as the Deltalambdalambdadelta/Lambdadeltadeltalambda racemate. In the crystal structure of [K(18-crown-6)(DMF)(2)][Ir(NCCH(3))(2)(Se(4))(2)] (3), the K(+) cation is coordinated by an 18-crown-6 ligand and two DMF molecules and the anion comprises an octahedral Ir(III) center bound by two chelating Se(4)(2)(-) chains and two trans acetonitrile groups. The [Ir(Se(4))(3)](3)(-) and [Rh(Se(4))(3)](3)(-) anions undergo conformational transformations as a function of temperature, as observed by (77)Se NMR spectroscopy. The thermodynamics of these transformations are: [Ir(Se(4))(3)](3)(-), DeltaH = 2.5(5) kcal mol(-)(1), DeltaS = 11.5(2.2) eu; [Rh(Se(4))(3)](3)(-), DeltaH = 5.2(7) kcal mol(-)(1), DeltaS = 24.7(3.0) eu.  相似文献

Anion recognition between the triurea receptor and phosphate anion is demonstrated as the cross‐linkage to build supramolecular polymer gels for the first time. A novel multi‐block copolymer ( 3) is designed to have functional triurea groups as cross‐linking units along the polymer main chain. By virtue of anion coordination between the triurea receptor and phosphate anion with a binding mode of 2:1, supramolecular polymer gels are then prepared based on anion recognition using 3 as the building block.

Photoelectron spectroscopy is combined with ab initio calculations to study the microsolvation of the dicyanamide anion, N(CN)(2)(-). Photoelectron spectra of [N(CN)(2)(-)](H2O)n (n = 0-12) have been measured at room temperature and also at low temperature for n = 0-4. Vibrationally resolved photoelectron spectra are obtained for N(CN)(2)(-), allowing the electron affinity of the N(CN)2 radical to be determined accurately as 4.135 +/- 0.010 eV. The electron binding energies and the spectral width of the hydrated clusters are observed to increase with the number of water molecules. The first five waters are observed to provide significant stabilization to the solute, whereas the stabilization becomes weaker for n > 5. The spectral width, which carries information about the solvent reorganization upon electron detachment in [N(CN)(2)(-)](H2O)n, levels off for n > 6. Theoretical calculations reveal several close-lying isomers for n = 1 and 2 due to the fact that the N(CN)(2)(-) anion possesses three almost equivalent hydration sites. In all the hydrated clusters, the most stable structures consist of a water cluster solvating one end of the N(CN)(2)(-) anion.  相似文献
