In this paper, for a rectangular sandwich plate with edges simply supported and subjected to a constant compressive thrust
λ along two opposite edges; the secondary bifurcation points and the secondary buckled states that bifurcate from the primary
buckled states are determined by a perturbation method. These results are useful for their numerical calculation and can be
used to explain the phenomenon of “mode-jumping”.

The theoretical analysis and the numerical computations for the problem of a thin plate with large deflection and some holes
become much more difficult due to the multi-valued properties of the stress functionF and the single-valued demands on the displacements. 角点支承矩形薄板的屈曲问题是板壳力学的一类重要课题,控制方程和边界条件的复杂性导致寻求该类问题的解析解十分困难。虽然各类近似/数值方法可用于解决此类难题,但作为基准的精确解析解在公开文献中鲜有报道。本文基于近年来提出的辛叠加方法,解析求解了四角点支承四边自由矩形薄板的屈曲问题。首先将问题拆分为两个子问题,接着利用分离变量与辛本征展开推导出子问题的解析解,最后通过叠加获得原问题的解。由于求解过程从基本控制方程出发,逐步严格推导,无需假定解的形式,因此本文解法是一种理性的解析方法。数值算例给出了不同长宽比和不同面内载荷比情况下,四角点支承四边自由矩形薄板的屈曲载荷和典型屈曲模态,并经有限元方法验证,确认了解析解的正确性。 相似文献

As an essential model of magnetoelastic interaction between magnetic field and mechanical deformation, the study on magnetoelastic
buckling phenomenon of soft ferromagnetic plates in a magnetic environment has been conducted. One of the key steps for the
theoretical prediction of the critical magnetic field is how to formulate magnetic force exerted on the magnetized medium.
Till today, the theoretical predictions, from theoretical models in publications, of the magnetoelastic buckling of ferromagnetic
cantilevered beam-plate in transverse magnetic field are all higher than their experimental data. Sometimes, the discrepancy
between them is as high as 100%. In this paper, the macroscope formulation of the magnetic forces is strictly obtained from
the microscope Amperion current model. After that, a new theoretical model is established to describe the magnetoelastic buckling
phenomenon of ferromagnetic thin plates with geometrically nonlinear deformation in a nonuniform transverse magnetic field.
The numerical method for quantitative analysis is employed by combining the finite elemental method for magnetic fields and
the finite difference method for deformation of plates. The numerical results obtained from this new theoretical model show
that the theoretical predictions of critical values of the buckling magnetic field for the ferromagnetic cantilevered beam-plate
are in excellent agreement with their experimental data. By the way, the region of applicability to the Moon-Pao's model,
or the couple model, is checked by quantitative results.

This paper presents a combined application of the finite element method (FEM) and the differential quadrature method (DQM) to vibration and buckling problems of rectangular plates. The proposed scheme combines the geometry flexibility of the FEM and the high accuracy and efficiency of the DQM. The accuracy of the present method is demonstrated by comparing the obtained results with those available in the literature. It is shown that highly accurate results can be obtained by using a small number of finite elements and DQM sample points. The proposed method is suitable for the problems considered due to its simplicity and potential for further development. 相似文献

For a beam subjected to electromagnetic force, magnetoelastic buckling due to the increase of such force is theoretically investigated by taking account of the nonlinearity of the electromagnetic force and the elastic force of the beam. Using Liapunov-Schmidt method and center manifold theory, the equilibrium space, the bifurcation set and the bifurcation diagram are theoretically derived. Also, the effect of the higher modes other than the buckling mode on the mode shape of the postbuckling state is discussed. Furthermore, a control method to stabilize the magnetoelastic buckling is proposed, and the unstable equilibrium state of the beam in the postbuckling state, i.e., the straight position of the beam, is stabilized by controlling the perturbation of the bifurcation. 相似文献

This paper gives the perturbation formulation of continuation method for nonlinear equations. Emphasis is laid on the discussion of searching for the singular points on the equilibrium path and of tracing the paths over the limit or bifurcation points. The method is applied to buckling analysis of thin shells. A new matrix perturbation analysis method is presented for efficient approximatesolution of the complex modal quadratic generalized eigenvalue problem of viscouslydamped linear vibration systems.First,the damping matrix is decomposed into the sum of aproportional-and a nonproportional-damping parts,and the solutions of the real modaleigenproblem with the proportional dampings are determined,which are a set of initialapproximate solutions of the complex modal eigenproblem.Second,by taking thenonproportional-damping part as a small modification to the proportional one and using thematrix perturbation analysis method,a set of approximate solutions of the complex modaleigenvalue problem can be obtained analytically.The result is quite simple.The new methodis applicable to the systems with viscous dampings-which do not deviate far away from theproportional-damping case.It is particularly important that the solution technique be alsoeffective to the systems with heavy,but not over,dampings.The solution formul 相似文献

A new numerical method—Green quasifunction is proposed.The idea of Green quasifunction method is clarified in detail by considering a vibration problem of simply-supported thin polygonic plates on Pasternak foundation.A Green quasifunction is established by using the fundamental solution and boundary equation of the problem. This function satisfies the homogeneous boundary condition of the problem.The mode shape differential equation of the vibration problem of simply-supported thin plates on Pasternak foundation is reduced to two simultaneous Fredholm integral equations of the second kind by Green formula.There are multiple choices for the normalized boundary equation.Based on a chosen normalized boundary equation,a new normalized boundary equation can be established such that the irregularity of the kernel of integral equations is overcome.Finally,natural frequency is obtained by the condition that there exists a nontrivial solution in the numerically discrete algebraic equations derived from the integral equations.Numerical results show high accuracy of the Green quasifunction method. 相似文献
