The dynamical phase transitions in two-dimensional fully frustrated Josephson junction arrays at zero temperature are investigated numerically with the resistively shunted junction model through the fluctuating twist boundary condition. The model is subjected to a driving current with nonzero orthogonal components i x , i y parallel to both axes of the square lattice. We find a roughly lattice size independent phase diagram with three dynamical phases: a pinned vortex lattice phase, a moving vortex lattice phase and a moving plastic phase. The phase diagram shows a direct transition from the pinned vortex to the moving vortex phase and the separation of the pinned vortex and the moving plastic phases. The time-dependent voltages v x and v y are periodic in the moving vortex lattice phase. But they are aperiodic in the moving plastic phase, resulting in non-monotonic characteristics and hysteresis in the current-voltage curves. We develop a theory for plastic vortex creep in a topologically disordered (dislocated) vortex solid phase in type-II superconductors in terms of driven thermally activated dislocation dynamics. Plastic barriers for dislocations show a power-law divergence at small driving currents j, U(pl)( j) approximately j(-&mgr;), with &mgr; = 1 for a single dislocation and &mgr; = 2/5 for creep of dislocation bundles. This implies a suppression of the creep rate at the transition from the ordered vortex phase ( &mgr; = 2/11) to the dislocated glass and can manifest itself as an observed increase of the apparent critical current (second peak). Our approach applies to general dynamics of disordered elastic media on a random substrate.  相似文献

The dynamics of the simplest vortex knots, “unknots,” and torus links in an atomic Bose condensate at zero temperature in an anisotropic harmonic trap has been simulated numerically within the three-dimensional Gross–Pitaevskii equation. It has been found that such quasistationary rotating vortex structures exist for a very long time in wide ranges of the parameters of the system. This new result is qualitatively consistent with a previous prediction based on a simplified one-dimensional model approximately describing the motion of knotted vortex filaments.  相似文献

A vortex molecule is predicted in rotating two-component Bose-Einstein condensates whose internal hyperfine states are coupled coherently by an external field. A vortex in one component and one in the other are connected by a domain wall of the relative phase, constituting a "vortex molecule," which features a nonaxisymmetric (pseudo)spin texture with a pair of merons. The binding mechanism of the vortex molecule is discussed based on a generalized nonlinear sigma model and a variational ansatz. The anisotropy of vortex molecules is caused by the difference in the scattering lengths, yielding a distorted vortex-molecule lattice in fast rotating condensates.  相似文献

Using scanning tunneling microscopy, we mapped the distribution of the local density of states in a single crystal superconductor heterostructure with an array of submicron normal metal islands. We observe the coexistence of strongly interacting multiquanta vortex lattice with interstitial Abrikosov vortices. The newly formed composite magnetic flux structure undergoes a series of phase transitions between different topological configuration states. The vortex configuration states are strongly dependent on the number of flux quanta and the nanoscale confinement architecture of the mesoscopic superconductor. Here, we present images of vortex phase transitions due to confinement effects when the number of magnetic flux quanta in the system changes. The vortex dynamics in these systems could serve as a model for behavior of confined many-body systems when the number of particles changes.  相似文献

采用电阻阻错结的无序二维约瑟夫森结阵列模型,数值研究超导薄膜中垂直磁场引起的涡旋运动.通过分析磁场激发产生的涡旋度Ne及低频电压噪声S0的变化特性,得到如下结论:在无序超导体中固定温度不变,随着磁场的减弱涡旋液态经过准有序的布拉格相,涡旋玻璃相重新进入到低磁场下的钉扎稀磁液相. 由于在涡旋玻璃相中,电流驱动下的噪声值表现出一个峰,表明系统处于无序与有序相互竞争的亚稳态,并且临界电流应有峰值效应. 计算得到噪声值的变化与Okuma等得到的无序超导MoxSi1-x膜实验现象一致,并能解释磁场降低引起的重新进入钉扎的稀磁液相行为. 关键词: 约瑟夫森结阵列 磁通玻璃 重新进入 峰值效应  相似文献

计算了二维无序钉扎系统中磁通运动的平均速度、微分电阻、纵向电压噪声和静态结构因子.通过在不同磁通密度下的磁通运动形式,给出了磁通运动的动力学相图.研究表明,磁通晶格存在钉扎相、塑性流相、近晶流相,和运动玻璃相.在运动玻璃相中,随着驱动力的进一步增加,横向玻璃态和运动Bragg玻璃态相继出现.磁通密度增大有利于有序相的出现.当磁通密度增大到一定程度时,近晶流动相会消失.磁通运动随着外加驱动电流增大发生从塑性流动相到运动玻璃相的转变 关键词: Ⅱ类超导体 磁通动力学 运动玻璃  相似文献

为玻色Hofstadter梯子模型引入交错跃迁,来扩展模型支持的量子流相.基于精确对角化和密度矩阵重整化群计算发现,无相互作用时,系统中包含横流相、涡旋相和纵流相;横流相来自均匀跃迁时Hofstadter梯子模型的Meissner相,纵流相是交错跃迁时才可见的流相.强相互作用极限下系统的超流区也包含横流相、纵流相和涡旋相,但存在更多的相变级数;超流区的横流相、纵流相之间存在相变但Mott区的不存在,把Mott区的"横、纵流相"称为Mott-均匀相,在Mott区只存在均匀相和涡旋相.跃迁的交错会压缩涡旋相存在的区域,使Mott区最终只剩下均匀相;跃迁的交错不仅能驱动Mott-超流相变,还使磁通的改变也能够驱动系统的Mott-超流相变.对这一系统的研究丰富了磁通系统中的量子流相,同时为研究拓扑流特性提供了模型支持.  相似文献

We demonstrate experimentally a technique for the numerical correction of an optical vortex with a unitary topological charge. A developed algorithm based on the axial behavior of a reconstructed wavefront is used in the detection of the optical vortex. Optimizations of the number of axial phase maps and the window size used in the algorithm yield the precise coordinates of the vortex eye. The obtained coordinates and vortex handedness are used in designing a proper filter, facilitating numerical correction of the vortex phase map. The developed algorithm can be applied to absolute phase and phase difference maps obtained through any reconstruction method.  相似文献

We investigated quantized modes of kinks in the phase space of superconducting gaps in a superconductor with multiple gaps. The kink is described by the sine-Gordon model in a two-gap superconductor and by the double sine-Gordon model in a three-gap superconductor. A fractional-flux vortex exists at the edge of the kink, and a fractional-flux vortex will be stable in a three-gap superconductor with time-reversal symmetry breaking. The kink and fractional-flux vortex exhibit massless modes as a sliding motion. We show further that there are one zero-energy mode (massless mode) and quantized excitation modes in kinks, which are characteristic features of multi-gap superconductors. The equation of quantized modes for the double sine-Gordon model is solved numerically. The correction to the ground-state energy is calculated based on the renormalization theory.  相似文献

The principle of determining the topological charge of an optical vortex is suggested based on measuring the light field intensity and designing the corresponding detector. A mathematical model of the performance of the detector of topological vortex charge is presented. Results of numerical experiments imitating the vortex recognition in the presence of turbulence or (amplitude or phase) noise in registered radiation as well as of the displacement of the optical beam source and detector axes are presented. Principles are formulated of designing the position finder for an optical vortex (that is, the detector of vortex coordinates) that allows us to consider its realization in the form of mathematical and numerical model. Conditions of reliable operation of the vortex detector and singular optical communication line constructed on its basis are estimated. Dependencies of the probability of error in data transfer on the turbulence intensity, photodetector noise amplitude, and displacement of the optical axes are investigated for different coding algorithms (absolute and differential with fixed or adaptive threshold). The data of modeling confirm the results of analytical calculations.  相似文献

The influence of retardation between orthogonal components of circularly polarized light on diffraction pattern generated by the vortex phase plate with a birefringence medium is considered. It is shown that if the ideal retardation π is broken, the pattern diffracted from the phase plate is described by superposition of two components: the vortex beam with the deep hole and the incident beam which preserves its initial characteristics. The computation results characterizing the influence of retardation on the Gaussian and Airy beams transformation in the vortex phase plate are presented. These results point out that vortex beam characteristics are very sensitive to retardation shift from its ideal value. We analyze and present the characteristics of the vortex phase plate that are required for the true vortex pattern generation.  相似文献

AbstractThe phase states and phase transitions in a system consisting of a two-dimensional vortex lattice with defects are studied by the Monte Carlo method. It is shown that a “rotating lattice” phase, which is an intermediate phase between the vortex crystal and vortex liquid phases, is present. The dependence of the temperature of the transition from the rotating lattice phase into a vortex liquid on the strength of the defect potential is determined. The current-voltage characteristics of the system are calculated at various temperatures for point, square, and linear defects. It is shown that the phase state of the system strongly affects its transport properties.  相似文献

The 3D XY model with random in-plane couplings is simulated to model the phase diagram of a disordered type II superconductor as a function of temperature T and randomness strength p for fixed applied magnetic field. As p increases to a critical p(c), the first order vortex lattice melting line turns parallel to the T axis, continuing down to low temperatures, rather than ending at a critical point. Above p(c) preliminary results suggest the absence of a phase coherent vortex glass.  相似文献

We propose to use a suitably defined vortex free energy as a disorder parameter in gauge field theories with matter fields. It is supposed to distinguish between the confinement phase, massless phase(s) and Higgs phase where they exist. The matter fields may transform according to an arbitrary representation of the gauge group. We compute the vortex free energy by series expansion for a Z2 Higgs model and for SU(2) lattice models with quark or Higgs fields in the fundamental representation at strong coupling (confinement phase), and for the Z2 Higgs model in the range of validity of low-temperature expansions (Higgs phase). The results are in agreement with the expected behavior.  相似文献

利用强非局域非线性介质中傍轴光束传输的修正Snyder-Mitchell模型讨论了两束共线(即光束中心和传输方向都相同)拉盖尔-高斯型光孤子(CLGS)构成的涡旋光孤子传输过程。在一定条件下,涡旋光束在传输过程中,光束截面光斑发生旋转现象,但光束的束宽保持不变,称之为旋转涡旋光孤子。涡旋光孤子旋转的现象可以通过叠加光场中的古依相位来解释。结果展现了几个旋转涡旋光孤子在传输过程中的旋转现象和强非局域介质中多环形旋转涡旋光孤子的传输。  相似文献

提出了一种基于双开口谐振环单元结构超表面的太赫兹宽带涡旋光束产生器.该结构由金属-电介质两层构成,位于顶层的是基于双开口谐振环单元结构的超表面,底层为介质层.对单元结构阵列进行数值仿真,圆偏振的入射光可以被转换成相应的交叉偏振透射光,通过旋转表层金属谐振环,可以控制交叉偏振透射光具有相同的振幅和不同的相位.这些单元结构按照特定的规律排列,可以形成用以产生不同拓扑荷数的涡旋光束的涡旋相位板.以拓扑荷数1和2为例,设计了两种涡旋相位板,数值分析了圆偏振波垂直入射到该涡旋相位板生成交叉圆偏振涡旋光束的特性.结果表明,在1.39—1.91 THz的频率范围内产生了比较理想的不同拓扑荷数的涡旋光束,且透过率高于20%,最高可达到24%,接近单层透射式超表面的理论极限值.  相似文献

Taking the Gaussian background vortex beam with topological charge +2 as a typical example, a closed-form expression for vortex Gaussian beams passing through a half-plane screen is derived and used to study the propagation dynamics of on-axis and off-axis vortex diffracted beams, and to compare with the case of the free-space propagation. It is shown that there may exist many phase singularities or no phase singularity of vortex diffracted Gaussian beams in the diffraction field. Number and position of phase singularities are dependent on the vortex position at the source plane and propagation distance. The creation, motion and annihilation of phase singularities in the diffraction field may appear by varying the vortex position and propagation distance.  相似文献
