Lead-free piezoelectric ceramics 0.92(Bi0.5Na0.5)TiO3-0.08BaTiO3 + xmol% Co3+ (BNBT-Co, x = 0-8) are prepared by the solid state reaction method. Effects of the amount of Co^3+ on the electrical properties and phase transition are studied. The results indicate that the addition of Co^3+ enhances the mechanical quality factor Q^3+ significantly, whereas the dissipation factor tanδ has a minimum value at x = 3.5. Meanwhile, addition of Co^3+ leads to small decreases of piezoelectric constant d33, and planar electromechanical coupling kp. The present 0.92(Bio.aNao.5) TiO3-0.08BaTiO3+3.5 moi% Co^3+ ceramics exhibit good performance with mechanical quality factor Qm = 910, piezoelectric constant d33 = 106pC/N, planar electromechanical coupling kp =10% and dissipation factor tanδ = 1.1% at 1 kHz. Saturated polarization hysteresis loops have been obtained for BNBT-Co ceramics. Two dielectric peaks at depolarization temperature Td and Tm appear in the curves of ε33^T vs temperature for the pure BNBT ceramics. However, the first dielectric peak Td disappears after the addition of Co^3+, which means that the transition from ferroelectric to antiferroelectric phase has been eliminated.  相似文献

Electric-field-induced strain behavior of (1−x)Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-xPbTiO3 (PMNT) crystals with different orientations and compositions was investigated for use as electromechanical actuators. Crystallographically, high strains with low hysteresis were achieved for 〈001〉 oriented rhombohedral crystals (29%≤x≤31%) near a morphotropic phase boundary, rather than 〈110〉 and 〈111〉. Domain instability could explain inferior strain levels and large hysteresis for 〈110〉 and 〈111〉 oriented crystals. Ultrahigh strain levels up to 1.8% could be achieved for 〈001〉 oriented PMNT crystals, being related to an E-field induced phase transition. −2 kV/cm negative E-field can be applied to PMNT ferroelectric material with low hysteresis. High strain with low hysteresis makes PMNT crystals promising candidates for high performance solid-state actuators.  相似文献

New lead‐free piezoelectric (1 – x)[(K0.4725Na0.4725)Li0.055]NbO3x (Ag0.5Li0.5)TaO3 [(1 – x)KNNL–x ALT] ceramics were prepared by conventional sintering. Piezoelectric and ferroelectric properties and Curie temperature of the ceramics were studied. The (1 – x)KNNL–x ALT (x = 0.04) ceramics exhibit good properties (d33 ~ 252 pC/N, kp ~ 41%, TC ~ 471 °C, To–t = 47 °C, Pr = 33.1 μC/cm2, Ec = 10.6 kV/cm). These results show that (1 – x)KNNL–x ALT (x = 0.04) ceramic is a promising lead‐free piezoelectric material for high temperature application. (© 2007 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. In this article, we report successful preparation of dense [(Na0.5K0.5)1−xSrx](Nb1−xTix)O3 (x=0.005-0.100) ceramics by ordinary sintering in air. The dependence of phase structure on doping content of SrO and TiO2 has been determined by the X-ray diffraction technique. It was found that the crystal structure changed from orthorhombic to tetragonal at x≈0.040. Dielectric study revealed that the dielectric relaxor behavior was induced by doping of SrO and TiO2 into (Na0.5K0.5)NbO3. The samples in the composition range from x=0.005 to 0.020 exhibited excellent electrical properties, piezoelectric constant of electromechanical planar and thickness coupling coefficients of kp=26.6-32.5% and kt=39.8-43.8%. The results show that the [(Na0.5K0.5)1−xSrx](Nb1−xTix)O3 ceramics are one of the promising lead-free materials for electromechanical transducer applications.  相似文献

The piezoelectric properties of the (KCe)-substituted sodium bismuth titanate (Na0.5Bi4.5Ti4O15, NBT) piezoelectric ceramics are investigated. The piezoelectric properties of NBT ceramics are significantly enhanced by (KCe) substitution. The Curie temperature Tc, and piezoelectric coefficient d33 for the (KCe)-substituted NBT are found to be 663ºC, and 27pC/N, respectively. Dielectric and annealing spectroscopy resent that the (KCe) co-substituted NBT piezoelectric ceramics possess stable piezoelectric properties.  相似文献

Polarization hysteresis loops, x-ray diffraction and temperature dependent dielectric constant under different electric fields for <110> oriented 0.7PMN-0.3PT crystals are measured. The field-induced phase transition and the process of depolarization are discussed. The results show that with the electric field E increasing, the single-crystal form changes from the relaxor state of rhombohedral to normal rhombohedral, then to a monoclinic state via polar-axis reorientation and polarization rotation. Orthorhombic phase may present when E≥10kV, but it is an unstable form after E removal. The depolarization process is not just the reversal of the polarization process. It is noticed that only the temperature-dependent dielectric behaviour is not enough to judge the processes of the E-field induced phase transition.  相似文献

Lead‐free (Na0.5Bi0.5)0.94TiO3–Ba0.06TiO3 (NBT‐BT6) nanofibers were synthesized by the sol–gel process and electrospinning, and a butterfly‐shaped piezoelectric response was measured by scanning force microscopy. NBT‐BT6 nanofibers with perovskite phase were formed, after being cleaned at 700 °C for 1 hour, and the diameters are in the range of 150 nm to 300 nm. The average value of the effective piezoelectric coefficient d33 is 102 pm/V. The high piezoelectricity may be attributed to the easiness for the electric field to tilt the polar vector of the domain and to the increase of the possible spontaneous polarization direction. There is a potential for the application of NBT‐BT6 nanofibers in nanoscale piezoelectric devices. (© 2009 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)  相似文献

Piezoelectric ceramics with compositions of (0.90−x)Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-xPbTiO3-0.10PbZrO3, x=0.28, 0.31, 0.34, 0.37, 0.40 and 0.43, were prepared using the conventional columbite precursor method, and their structural phase transformation and piezoelectric behaviors near the morphotropic phase boundary (MPB) have been systematically investigated as a function of PbTiO3 content. X-ray diffraction (XRD) results demonstrate that the structure of the ceramics experiences a gradual transition process from rhombohedral phase to tetragonal phase with the increasing of PbTiO3 content, and that compositions with x=0.34-0.40 lie in the MPB region of this ternary system. A Raman spectra investigation of the ceramic samples testified to the transformation process of rhombohedral phase to tetragonal phase by comparing the relative intensities of tetragonal E(2TO1) mode and rhombohedral phase Rh mode. The structure information was also correlated to the parabola change of the piezoelectric constant; the maximum piezoelectric constants were obtained near the MPB region.  相似文献

Modified BiScO3-PbTiO3 (BSPT) tetragonal single crystals were grown using high temperature solution method. The dielectric, piezoelectric and elastic properties of single domain BSPT crystals, after poling along [001] crystallographic direction, have been determined experimentally using the resonance method. The results showed that the BSPT tetragonal crystals possess good piezoelectric properties, with electromechanical coupling factor about 88% and piezoelectric coefficient over 400 pC/N at room temperature. BSPT tetragonal crystals have high Curie temperature around 436 °C and high coercive field ∼28 kV/cm, also, the crystal exhibited a very good temperature stability of the properties till 380 °C. For comparison, the material constants of tetragonal Pb(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3-PbTiO3 (PZNT) single crystals were measured and listed in this paper.  相似文献

Lead-free (K0.5Na0.5)0.90Li0.06Sr0.02Nb(1−x)SbxO3 (KNLSN-Sbx) ceramics were synthesized by ordinary sintering technique. The compositional dependence of phase structure and electrical properties of the ceramics was systematically investigated. All samples possessed pure perovskite structure, showing room temperature symmetries of orthorhombic at x<0.01, coexistence of orthorhombic and tetragonal phases at x=0.01, and tetragonal at 0.02≤x≤0.05. The temperature of the polymorphic phase transition (PPT) was shifted to lower temperature and dielectric relaxor behavior was induced by increasing Sb content. The samples near the coexistence region (x=0.01) exhibited enhanced electrical properties: d33∼145 pC/N, kp∼38% and Pr∼20.4 μC/cm2.  相似文献

(Bi0.5Na0.5)0.94Ba0.06TixO1+2x lead-free piezoceramics with x varying from 0.97 to 1.03 were fabricated and characterized in order to investigate the effects of TiO2-nonstoichiometry on the piezoelectric properties and depolarization temperature of (Bi0.5Na0.5)0.94Ba0.06TiO3 composition. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis showed that all samples have a single phase of perovskite structure with rhombohedral symmetry. Piezoelectric and dielectric measurements revealed that deficiency of TiO2 leads to an increase in the piezoelectric coefficient (d33), free relative permittivity (), and loss tangent (tan δ) besides an increase in the electromechanical coupling coefficient (kp) within a certain amount, while excess of TiO2 results in a decrease in kp, d33, and , but an increase in tan δ. Depolarization temperature (Td) measurement indicated a decrease and an increase in Td as a result of increasing TiO2 deficiency and TiO2 excess, respectively. This TiO2-nonstoichiometry also induced changes in the remanent polarization (Pr) and coercive field (Ec) of the ceramics.  相似文献

Bi0.5 (Na0.72K0.28- x Lix )0.5 TiO3 (BNKLT- 100x) lead-free piezoelectric ceramics are synthesized by conventional solid state sintering techniques. The dielectric and piezoelectric properties of the BNKLT-100x ceramics as a function of Li content are systematically investigated. It is found that not only Li content but also the sintering temperature has a strong effect on the piezoelectric properties of BNKLT. The piezoelectric constant d33 Of BNKLT varies from 120 to 252pC/N in the Li content range from 0.03 to 0.16. In the sintering temperature range from 1080 to 1130℃, the d33 value of BNKLT-6 changes from 200pC/N to 252pC/N. The BNKLT-6 sample sintered at 1100℃ has the highest piezoelectric constant d33 of 252pC/N, with the electromechanical coupling factors kp of 0.32 and kt of 0.44.  相似文献

Polarized Raman spectra of ferroelectric relaxor 0.67Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-0.33PbTiO3 (0.67PMN-0.33PT) single crystal are systematically investigated in a wide temperature range from -196 to 600℃ by micro-Raman scattering technique. The results clearly reveal that there are two structural phase transitions in such composite ferroelectric relaxor: the rhombohedral-tetragonal (R- T) phase transition and the tetragonal-cubic (T- C) phase transition. The former occurs at about TR-T =34℃, corresponding to the vanishing of the soft A1 mode at 106cm^-1 recorded in the parallel polarization. The latter appears at about TT-C = 144℃, which can be verified with the vanishing of mode at 780cm^-1 measured in the crossed polarization.  相似文献

An optimum composition range (29%≤x≤31%) of 〈001〉 oriented (1−x)Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-xPbTiO3(PMNT) crystals was ascertained for multilayer actuator applications, which exhibited high-strain and low-hysteresis behavior. A −1.5 kV/cm negative E-field can be applied to PMNT ferroelectric samples with low hysteresis. Forty layer actuators with individual element sizes of 7×7×0.7 mm3 were fabricated under identical processing conditions using two different materials: (1) single crystal PMNT and (2) commercial PZT-SF ceramics. Under free-load conditions, 48 μm displacements can been achieved in PMNT actuators at electric fields ranging from −1.5 to 10 kV/cm, which is more than twice the displacement of the PZT-SF actuators driven from −10 to 10 kV/cm. Under 4 kg loading, the displacements in PMNT stain actuators are decreased to 42.5 μm.  相似文献

To investigate temperature-dependent ferroelectric and dielectric properties of ferroelectric films, Bi3.25La0.75Ti3O12 (BLT) thin films were prepared on Pt-coated silicon substrates by pulsed laser deposition. The ferroelectric and dielectric behaviors have been studied in a wide temperature range from 80 K to room temperature. The saturated polarization (Psat) decreases with decreasing temperature and decreasing electric field, whereas remnant polarization (Pr) shows a more complex temperature dependence. These results, which can be well explained based on a temperature-dependent charged defects-domain wall interaction model, might be helpful for further understanding the domain switching behavior. Based on these results, an alternative way to investigate temperature-dependent ferroelectric fatigue is proposed and experimentally carried out. The measured fatigue rate is found to be linearly dependent on temperature, consistent with the report on Pb(Zr,Ti)O3 films. Temperature-dependent dielectric measurements of the films further confirm the above explanation.  相似文献

We report that ferroelectric-relaxor behavior is induced by doping of SrO and TiO2, or BaO and TiO2 into classic ferroelectric (Na0.5K0.5)NbO3. It is found that [(Na0.5K0.5)0.9Sr0.1](Nb0.9Ti0.1)O3 ceramics exhibit a pronounced ferroelectric-relaxor behavior, comparable to that of [(Na0.5K0.5)0.9Ba0.1](Nb0.9Ti0.1)O3 ceramics. Our results indicate that the relaxor behavior is closely related to the appearance of micropolar regions in these systems. The relaxor behavior should arise from the dynamic response of micropolar clusters. Raman spectra of [(Na0.5K0.5)1−xSrx](Nb1−xTix)O3 ceramics measured in the wavenumber range from 100 to 1200 cm−1 confirm that the first order scattering is dominant in phonon bands should result from both short-range ordered region (micropolar regions) and disordered matrix. The frequency dependence of dielectric permittivity measurements show that the relaxor behavior of SrO and TiO2, or BaO and TiO2 doped (Na0.5K0.5)NbO3 ceramics is not a Debye type in the radio frequency range.  相似文献

The domain states and phase transitions in 0.67Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-0.33PbTiO3 single crystals were investigated by studying their relative permittivity under various dc bias at constant heating and cooling rates. The orientation dependence of the bias field effect was revealed by examining the temperature dependence of relative permittivity as a function of crystal orientation (the 〈111〉, 〈011〉 and 〈001〉 directions) and dc bias field. The crystals basically have a macrodomain rhombohedral ferroelectric state in the ferroelectric phase under zero dc bias. External bias field could modulate the domain state and induce a stable macrodomain state in the crystals. Also, it is proposed that the dc bias applied along the 〈001〉 or 〈011〉 direction could induce a tetragonal ferroelectric phase or an orthorhombic ferroelectric phase, respectively, in an intermediate temperature range.  相似文献

The influence of grain size on the phase transitions of ferroelectric KNbO3 was studied by micro Raman spectroscopy. It was found that the three transitions observed are not sharp for small particles (∼50 μm), indicating that they do not behave like bulk particles. The transition temperatures depend on the size and all particles show hysteresis. From these experiments we have obtained some evidence that in small particles monodomains of the rhombohedral and orthorhombic phases coexist in a range of temperatures.  相似文献

Thin film of both A- and B-site co-substituted Sr0.8Bi2.2Ta2O9 (SBT) by Pr3+ and Nb5+, i.e. Sr0.8Pr0.1Bi2.1Ta1.5Nb0.5O9 (SPBTN) was fabricated on Pt/Ti/SiO2/Si substrates by metalorganic decomposition method. The Nb5+ substitution at B-site and Pr3+ substitution at A-site enhanced the remanent polarization and reduced the coercive field of the films, respectively. The remanent polarization (2Pr) value of the SPBTN film was 22 μC/cm2. The coercive field (2Ec) value of the SPBTN film was 102 kV/cm, which was much lower than that of SBTN (165 kV/cm). The effects of substitution on structural and ferroelectric properties of SBT were discussed in detail. As a result, the A- and B-sites co-substitution may be one of the promising ways to improve ferroelectric properties of SBT.  相似文献

This letter reports microwave dielectric measurements performed in the antiferroelectric phase of NaNbO3 ceramics from 100 to 450 K. Remarkable dielectric relaxation was found within the antiferroelectric phase and in the vicinity of the ferroelectric-antiferroelectric phase transition. Such dielectric relaxation process was associated with relaxations of polar nanoregions with strong relaxor-like characteristic. In addition, the microwave dielectric measurements also revealed an unexpected and unusual anomaly in the relaxation strength, which was related to a disruption of the antiferroelectric order induced by a possible AFE-AFE phase transition.  相似文献
