Asymptotic formulas are obtained which make it possible to derive the first approximation solution of the Riccati matrix algebraic equation of special form. Method is based on Bass' formulas [1] and the theory of perturbations [2], The problem of control of a slowly damped oscillator is investigated in detail. Formulation of the problem in this paper differs substantially from that in [3] (no assumption is made about single-frequency oscillations, and only a stationary system is considered over an infinite time interval).  相似文献

A technique for deriving formulas for the second derivatives of a composite function with constrained variables is proposed. The original system of constraint equations is associated with a linear system of equations, whose solution is used to determine the Hessian of the function. The resulting formulas are applied to discrete problems obtained by approximating optimal control problems with the use of Runge-Kutta methods of various orders. For a particular optimal control problem, the numerical results obtained by the gradient method and Newton’s method with the resulting formulas are described and analyzed in detail.  相似文献

The notion of weekly uniform distribution of arithmetical functions was introduced by W. Narckiewicz. For many functions in various papers, the problem of existence of such distribution was solved, and asymptotic formulas for frequency of hits of function values in residue classes coprime with a module were established. These asymptotic formulas contained, as a rule, only principal part of the asymptotics. A similar problem is solved in the present paper for the function which gives the number of square-free divisors of a natural number, but the asymptotic formula is the asymptotic series.

We explicitly construct the Green’s function for the Dirichlet problem for polyharmonic equations in a ball in a space of arbitrary dimension. The formulas for the Green’s function are of interest in their own right. In particular, the explicit representations for a solution to the Dirichlet problem for the biharmonic equation are important in elasticity.  相似文献

In the early 1960s research into radar signal synthesis produced important formulas describing the action of the two-dimensional Fourier transform on auto- and crossambiguity surfaces. When coupled with the Poisson Summation formula, these results become applicable to the theory of Weyl-Heisenberg systems, in the form of lattice sum formulas that relate the energy of the discrete crossambiguity function of two signals f and g over a lattice with the inner product of the discrete autoambiguity functions of f and g over a "complementary" lattice. These lattice sum formulas provide a framework for a new proof of a result of N.J. Munch characterizing tight frames and for establishing an important relationship between l1-summability (condition A) of the discrete ambiguity function of g over a lattice and properties of the Weyl-Heisenberg system of g over the complementary lattice. This condition leads to formulas for upper frame bounds that appear simpler than those previously published and provide guidance in choosing lattice parameters that yield the most snug frame at a stipulated density of basis functions.  相似文献

The general formulas developed in the fourth paper in this series are applied to solve the inverse input scattering problem for canonical integral systems in the special cases that the input scattering matrix is ap×q matrix valued function in the Wiener class (and the associated pairs are homogeneous). These formulas are then further specialized to the rational case. Whenp=q, these formulas are connected to the earlier results of Alpay-Gohberg and Gohberg-Kaashoek-Sakhnovich, who studied inverse problems for a related system of differential equations.This research was partially supported by a Minerva Foundation grant that is acknowledged with thanks.  相似文献

We generalize a number of formulas of the method for the Schrōdinger equation to the case of nonzero backqround potential. As a corollary we have found the following reciprocity property ot the Faddeev function h: Where h is a non—analytic extension of the scattering amplitude to the complex domain. As an application we prove the uniqueness theorem and give a reconstruction procedure in the inverse scattering problem for the two—dimensional acoustic equation.  相似文献

We compute the scattering data of the Benjamin–Ono equation for arbitrary rational initial conditions with simple poles. Specifically, we obtain explicit formulas for the Jost solutions and eigenfunctions of the associated spectral problem, yielding an Evans function for the eigenvalues and formulas for the phase constants and reflection coefficient.  相似文献

In the present paper the fuzzy linear optimization problem (with fuzzy coefficients in the objective function) is considered. Recent concepts of fuzzy solution to the fuzzy optimization problem based on the level-cut and the set of Pareto optimal solutions of a multiobjective optimization problem are applied. Chanas and Kuchta suggested one approach to determine the membership function values of fuzzy optimal solutions of the fuzzy optimization problem, which is based on calculating the sum of lengths of certain intervals. The purpose of this paper is to determine a method for realizing this idea. We derive explicit formulas for the bounds of these intervals in the case of triangular fuzzy numbers and show that only one interval needs to be considered.  相似文献

The general solution of ati elasticity theory problem for a constant thickness plate is constructed under the condition that a force and a nonuniformly heated plate are applied normally to the boundary planes. The solution is obtained as a result of applying the M.E. Vashchenko-Zakharchenko expansion formulas to the infinitely high-order differential equations obtained by A.I. Lur'e by a symbolic method [1,2], by a separate analysis of the symmetric and antisymmetric elasticity theory problems relative to the middle plane: 1) for constant temperature and given forces on the boundary planes; 2) for a given nonuniform heating and no forces. Simple formulas are presented to determine the state of stress in the case of a slowly varying external load and temperature of the unbounded plate. For a bounded plate the general solution for no forces on the boundary planes and heating resulted in the A.I. Lur'e solution [1].  相似文献

The problem of optimal response [1, 2] with nonsmooth (generally speaking, nonfunctional) constraints imposed on the state variables is considered. This problem is used to illustrate the method of proving the necessary conditions of optimality in the problems of optimal control with phase constraints, based on constructive approximation of the initial problem with constraints by a sequence of problems of optimal control with constraint-free state variables. The variational analysis of the approximating problems is carried out by means of a purely algebraic method involving the formulas for the incremental growth of a functional [3, 4] and the theorems of separability of convex sets is not used.Using a passage to the limit, the convergence of the approximating problems to the initial problem with constraints is proved, and for general assumptions the necessary conditions of optimality resembling the Pontriagin maximum principle [1] are derived for the generalized solutions of the initial problem. The conditions of transversality are expressed, in the case of nonsmooth (nonfunctional) constraints by a novel concept of a cone conjugate to an arbitrary closed set of a finite-dimensional space. The concept generalizes the usual notions of the normal and the normal cone for the cases of smooth and convex manifolds.  相似文献

We obtain a formula for the expansion of an arbitrary function in a series in the eigenfunctions of the Sturm–Liouville boundary-value problem for the differential equation of cone functions. On the basis of this result, we derive a series of integral transformations (including well-known ones) and inversion formulas for them. We apply these formulas to the solution of initial boundary-value problems in the theory of heat conduction for circular hollow cones truncated by spherical surfaces.  相似文献

Implementation of the penalty function method for constrained optimization poses numerical difficulties as the penalty parameter increases. To offset this problem, one often resorts to Newton's method. In this note, working in the context of the penalty function method, we establish an intimate connection between the second-order updating formulas which result from Newton's method on the primal problem and Newton's method on the dual problem.The author wishes to thank Professor R. Embedding formulas are powerful tools that enable one to reduce the dimension of the space of variables for a diffraction problem. Let a scatterer be finite, planar, and perfectly conducting. The idea of the method is to replace the initial problem of diffraction of a plane wave by construction of an edge Green’s function, i.e., to solve a problem with a source located near the edge of a scatterer. An embedding formula is an integral relation connecting the solution of the initial plane wave incidence problem with the edge Green’s function. Earlier, embedding formulas have been derived for acoustic and elasticity problems. Here we derive an embedding formula for an electromagnetic problem. We consider a nonlinear eigenvalue problem of the Sturm–Liouville type with conditions of the third kind, which describes the propagation of polarized electromagnetic waves in a plane dielectric waveguide. The equation is nonlinear in the unknown function, and the boundary conditions depend on the spectral parameter nonlinearly. We obtain an equation for the spectral parameter and formulas for the zeros of the eigenfunctions and show that the problem has at most finitely many isolated eigenvalues.  相似文献

根据双解析函数可以得到单位圆内平面弹性问题应力函数的边界积分公式,但式中包含强奇异积分,不能用于直接计算.将边界上的应力函数展开为Fourier级数,再利用广义函数论中的几个公式进行卷积计算,可以得到不含强奇异积分核的边界积分公式,通过边界的应力函数值和法向导数的积分,直接得到圆内应力函数值,并给出几个算例,表明该结果用于求解单位圆内平面弹性问题十分方便.  相似文献
