Based on the Lax pair formulation, we study the integrable conditions of the Osp(1∣2) spin chain with open boundaries. We consider both the non-graded and graded versions of the Osp(1∣2) chain. The Lax pair operators M± for the boundaries can be induced by the Lax operator Mj for the bulk of the system. They correspond to the reflection equations (RE) and the Yang–Baxter equation, respectively. We further calculate the boundary K-matrices for both the non-graded and graded versions of the model with open boundaries. The double row monodromy matrix and transfer matrix of the spin chain have also been constructed. The K-matrices obtained from the Lax pair formulation are consistent with those from Sklyanin’s RE. This construction is another way to prove the quantum integrability of the Osp(1∣2) chain. We find that the Lax pair formulation has advantages in dealing with the boundary terms of the supersymmetric model.  相似文献

The integrable quantum group splq(2, 1)-invariant supersymmetric tJ model with open boundaries is studied via an analytic treatment of the Bethe equations. An su(2) feature is seen to hold for states at or close to half-filling. For these states the eigenvalues of the transfer matrix of the tJ model satisfy a set of su(2) functional relations. The finite-size corrections to the relevant eigenvalues, and thus the surface effect on the spin excitations, have been calculated analytically by solving the functional relations.  相似文献

We consider a U(1)-invariant model consisting of the integrable anisotropic Heisenberg chain of arbitrary spin S embedding an impurity of spin S′. The impurity is assumed located on the mth link of the chain and interacting only with both neighboring sites. The coupling of the impurity to the lattice can be tuned by the impurity rapidity. The model is then integrable as a function of two continuous parameters (the anisotropy and the impurity rapidity) and two discrete variables (the spins S and S′). The thermodynamic Bethe ansatz equations are derived and used to analyze the small field and low temperature properties. Three situations have to be distinguished: (i) If S′ = S the impurity just corresponds to one more site in the chain. (ii) If S′ > S the impurity spin is only partially compensated at T = 0 and the entropy has an essential singularity at T = H = 0. (iii) If S′ < S the impurity is overcompensated, and again the entropy has an essential singularity at T = H = 0. The essential singularity gives rise to a quantum critical point and hence non-Fermi-liquid-like behavior as H and T tend to zero. While cases (i) and (iii) are analogous to the n-channel Kondo problem, case (ii) differs considerably as a consequence of critical behavior induced by the anisotropy.  相似文献

We construct an integrable quantum spin chain that includes the nearest-neighbor, next-nearest-neighbor, chiral three-spin couplings, Dzyloshinsky-Moriya interactions and unparallel boundary magnetic fields. Although the interactions in bulk materials are isotropic, the spins nearby the boundary fields are polarized, which induce the anisotropic exchanging interactions of the first and last bonds. The U(1) symmetry of the system is broken because of the off-diagonal boundary reflections. Using the off-diagonal Bethe ansatz, we obtain an exact solution to the system. The inhomogeneous T-Q relation and Bethe ansatz equations are given explicitly. We also calculate the ground state energy. The method given in this paper provides a general way to construct new integrable models with certain interesting interactions.  相似文献

The behavior of charge and spin persistent currents in an integrable lattice ring of strongly correlated electrons with a magnetic impurity is exactly studied. Our results manifest that the oscillations of charge and spin persistent currents are similar to the ones, earlier obtained for integrable continuum models with a magnetic impurity. The difference is due to two (instead of one) Fermi velocities of low-lying excitations. The form of oscillations in the ground state is “saw-tooth”-like, generic for any multi-particle coherent one-dimensional models. The integrable magnetic impurity introduces net charge and spin chiralities in the generic integrable lattice system, which determine the initial phase shifts of charge and spin persistent currents. We show that the magnitude of the charge persistent current in the generic Kondo situation does not depend on the parameters of the magnetic impurity, unlike the (magneto)resistivity of transport currents. We investigate the spectral flow of the integrable non-hermitian Heisenberg spin chain under boundary conditions with complex twist angle. It is shown that the period of the spectral flow is 4π up to a certain critical imaginary twist, beyond which the period jumps successively to higher values. We argue that this phenomenon caused by non-hermitian properties of the system is closely related to the metal-insulator transition caused by non-hermitian hoppings for the one-dimensional insulator.  相似文献

Type-I quantum impurities are investigated in the context of the integrable Heisenberg model. This type of defects is associated to the (q)-harmonic oscillator algebra. The transmission matrices associated to this particular type of defects are computed via the Bethe ansatz methodology for the XXX model, as well as for the critical and non-critical XXZ spin chain. In the attractive regime of the critical XXZ spin chain the transmission amplitudes for the breathers are also identified.  相似文献

We study the exact solution of the Gaudin model with Dzyaloshinsky–Moriya and Kaplan–Shekhtman–Entin–Wohlman–Aharony interactions. The energy and Bethe ansatz equations of the Gaudin model can be obtained via the off-diagonal Bethe ansatz method. Based on the off-diagonal Bethe ansatz solutions, we construct the Bethe states of the inhomogeneous X X X Heisenberg spin chain with the generic open boundaries. By taking a quasi-classical limit, we give explicit closed-form expression of the Bethe states of the Gaudin model. From the numerical simulations for the small-size system, it is shown that some Bethe roots go to infinity when the Gaudin model recovers the U(1) symmetry. Furthermore,it is found that the contribution of those Bethe roots to the Bethe states is a nonzero constant. This fact enables us to recover the Bethe states of the Gaudin model with the U(1) symmetry. These results provide a basis for the further study of the thermodynamic limit, correlation functions, and quantum dynamics of the Gaudin model.  相似文献

利用量子失协方法研究在非马尔科夫环境中具有时变磁场的两比特各向异性海森堡XYZ模型量子失协的动力学演化。海森堡XYZ系统的初始态为最大纠缠态 $\left|\psi_{A B}\right\rangle=(1 / \sqrt{2})(|11\rangle+|00\rangle)$ , 利用非马尔科夫量子态扩散方法解析求解非马尔科夫主方程, 得出系统的约化密度矩阵; 然后代入量子失协公式得出系统量子失协的演化动力学。讨论自旋耦合强度、环境关联系数γ和余弦磁场强度B对量子失协动力学的影响。研究发现: 当环境关联系数γ较小时, 系统的量子失协明显呈现上升趋势, 因此可以表明非马尔科夫环境具有增加系统量子失协的作用。同时较大的自旋耦合系数JJZ以及余弦磁场强度B也具有增加系统量子失协的作用。  相似文献

研究具有次近邻相互作用五量子比特XXZ海森伯自旋链在磁场作用下的热纠缠性质,利用数值计算求出最近邻两量子比特和次近邻两量子比特的共生纠缠度(concurrence),分别记为C_(12)和C_(13).研究结果表明,阻挫参数对配对热纠缠具有重要影响,而且阻挫参数的变化对C_(12)和C_(13)的影响也各不相同;温度、磁场、Dzyaloshinkii-Moriya相互作用以及各向异性参数对配对热纠缠有着不同程度的影响;通过选择适当的模型参数,可以有效地调节和提高五量子比特XXZ海森伯自旋链的配对热纠缠.  相似文献

We consider the problem of a persistent current in a one-dimensional mesoscopic ring with the electrons coupled by a spin exchange to a magnetic impurity. We show that this problem can be mapped onto an integrable model with a quadratic dispersion (with the latter property allowing for an unambiguous definition of the persistent current). We have solved the model exactly by a Bethe ansatz and found that the current is insensitive to the presence of the impurity. We conjecture that this result holds for any integrable quantum impurity model with an electronic dispersionε(k) that is an even function ofk.  相似文献

The one-dimensional Hubbard model is integrable in the sense that it has an infinite family of conserved currents. We explicitly construct a ladder operator which can be used to iteratively generate all of the conserved current operators. This construction is different from that used for Lorentz invariant systems such as the Heisenberg model. The Hubbard model is not Lorentz invariant, due to the separation of spin and charge excitations. The ladder operator is obtained by a very general formalism which is applicable to any model that can be derived from a solution of the Yang-Baxter equation.  相似文献

The spectrum of the integrable spin-S Heisenberg chains is completely characterized in terms of spinons. In the continuum limit they form a quasi-particle basis to the higher level SU(2) Wess-Zumino-Witten (WZW) models. Enumerating the spinon states in finite systems we obtain effective single particle distribution functions for these objects which generalize Haldane's generalized exclusion principle to quasi-particles with non-Abelian exchange statistics.  相似文献

We present a thorough analysis of the non-intersecting string (NIS) model and its exact solution. This is an integrable q-states vertex model describing configurations of non-intersecting polygons on the lattice. The exact eigenvalues of the transfer matrix are found by the analytic Bethe ansatz. The Bethe ansatz equations thus found are shown to be equivalent to those for a mixed spin model involving both and infinite spin. This indicates that the NIS model provides a representation of the quantum group corresponding to spins and s = ∞. The partition function and the excitations in the thermodynamic limit are computed.  相似文献

Quantum integrable models that possess N = 2 supersymmetry are investigated on the half-space. Conformal perturbation theory is used to identify some N = 2 supersymmetric boundary integrable models, and the effective boundary Landau-Ginzburg formulations are constructed. It is found that N = 2 supersymmetry largely determines the boundary action in terms of the bulk, and in particular, the boundary bosonic potential is |W|2, where W is the bulk superpotential. Supersymmetry is also investigated using the affine quantum group symmetry of exact scattering matrices, and the affine quantum group symmetry of boundary reflection matrices is analyzed both for supersymmetric and more general models. Some N = 2 supersymmetry preserving boundary reflection matrices are given, and their connection with the boundary Landau-Ginzburg actions is discussed.  相似文献
