The cross-coupling reaction of aryl chlorides with aliphatic and aromatic thiols catalyzed by palladium complexes of the strongly binding bisphosphine CyPF-tBu ligand (1) is reported. Most of the reactions catalyzed by complexes of ligand 1 occur with turnover numbers that exceed those of previous catalysts by two orders of magnitude. The reactions occur with excellent yields, broad scope and high tolerance of functional groups. Coupling of aryl halides with thiols in the presence of low loadings of catalysts derived from other Josiphos type ligands, as well as ligands of other structural types, are also described.  相似文献

[reaction: see text]. The photoinduced reactions of aryl halides with the thiourea anion afford arene thiolate ions in DMSO. These species without isolation, and by a subsequent aliphatic nucleophilic substitution, S(RN)1 reaction, oxidation, or protonation, yield aryl methyl sulfides, diaryl sulfides, diaryl disulfides, and aryl thiols with good yields (50-80%). This is a simple and convenient approach which involves the use of the commercially available and inexpensive thiourea in a "one-pot" two-step process for the synthesis of aromatic sulfur compounds.  相似文献

Ni-catalyzed C−S cross-coupling reactions have received less attention compared with other C-heteroatom couplings. Most reported examples comprise the thioetherification of most reactive aryl iodides with aromatic thiols. The use of C−O electrophiles in this context is almost uncharted. Here, we describe that preformed Ni(II) precatalysts of the type NiCl(allyl)(PMe2Ar’) (Ar’=terphenyl group) efficiently couple a wide range of (hetero)aryl halides, including challenging aryl chlorides, with a variety of aromatic and aliphatic thiols. Aryl and alkenyl tosylates are also well tolerated, demonstrating, for the first time, to be competent electrophilic partners in Ni-catalyzed C−S bond formation. The chemoselective functionalization of the C−I bond in the presence of a C−Cl bond allows for designing site-selective tandem C−S/C−N couplings. The formation of the two C-heteroatom bonds takes place in a single operation and represents a rare example of dual electrophile/nucleophile chemoselective process.  相似文献

A wide range of diaryl thioethers and aryl alkyl thioethers are synthesized from the corresponding aryl iodides and aromatic/aliphatic thiols through Ullmann type intermolecular coupling reactions in the presence of a catalytic amount of easily available BINAM-Cu(OTf)2 complex. Less reactive aryl bromides have also been shown to react with thiols under identical reaction conditions to give good yields of the thioethers without increasing the reaction temperature and time.  相似文献

Rhodium-catalyzed alkyne hydrothiolation with aromatic and aliphatic thiols   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
Alkyne hydrothiolation is a potentially attractive method for the formation of vinyl sulfides, which are valuable synthetic intermediates. Known methods for hydrothiolation using alkyl thiols are quite limited. We report herein that Tp*Rh(PPh3)2 (Tp* = hydrotris(3,5-dimethylpyrazolyl)borate) is a highly active catalyst for alkyne hydrothiolation with alkyl and aryl thiols. Hydrothiolation using alkyl thiols proceeds with excellent regioselectivity, providing convenient access to branched alkyl vinyl sulfides, which are difficult to synthesize by other means. A mixture of regioisomers is obtained when using aryl thiols, with the branched isomer as the major product, opposite that reported for other Rh complexes.  相似文献

The reactivity of thiosulfonates with nucleophilic reagents was investigated. When reactions of thiosulfonates with thiols were performed, unsymmetrical disulfides were obtained in excellent yields. This procedure could employ numerous aryl or alkyl thiols. On the other hand, reactions of thiosulfonates with amines proceeded in the presence of a copper catalyst. The procedure was performed efficiently in air, and afforded the corresponding sulfenamides.  相似文献

The substituted products alkyl(aryl)thio-tetrahalo-3-nitrobuta-1,3-dienes 3a–b were obtained from the reactions of 1-bromo-1,2,4,4-tetrachloro-3-nitrobuta-1,3-diene (1) with thiols. Further reactions of the substituted product alkyl(aryl)thio-tetrahalo-3-nitrobuta-1,3-dienes 3a–b in dichloromethane reacted with piperazine derivatives and morpholine to generate 5a–b and 7a–l. Liquid-phase thermal reactions of phenylacetylene with the system arene(hetarene)thioldiselenide at 110-180°C proceed through conjugate addition to the phenylacetylene triple bond of one alkylselanyl and one arene(hetarenesulfanyl groups to form 2-alkylselanyl-2-[aryl(hetaryl)sulfanyl]-1-phenylethenes and 1-alkylselanyl-2-[aryl(hetaryl)sulfanyl]-1-phenylethenes. 1-Alkyl(aryl)imidazolidine-2,4-diones reacted with Vilsmeier-Haack reagent affording 1-alkyl(aryl)-2,4-dichloro-1H-imidazole-5-carbaldehydes whose reactions with sodium azide, sodium alkoholates, with phenols, thiols, and secondary cycloalkylamines led to the substitution of chlorine in the position 2 of the imidazole ring. The general and efficient cross-coupling of thiols with aryl halides was developed utilizing Pd(OAc)2/1,1′-bis(diisopropylphosphino)ferrocene as the catalyst. The substrate scope is broad and includes a variety of aryl bromides and chlorides, which can be coupled to aliphatic and aromatic thiols. This catalyst system has the widest substrate scope of any reported to date. The present catalyst system also enables the palladium-catalyzed coupling of secondary phosphines with aryl bromides and chlorides.  相似文献

Abstract

A simple and convenient method for the synthesis of thiophosphates by coupling of phosphites with thiols under mild conditions has been developed. The reactions were promoted by trichloroisocyanuric acid (TCCA) and were carried out at room temperature in a one-pot two-step procedure within 20?min. A variety of substrates was tolerated in this method. Notably, both aryl and alkyl thiols could afford the corresponding thiophosphates in good yields.  相似文献

These palladacycles are thermally stable, not sensitive to air or moisture, and are applied effectively in the Heck reaction of aryl halides with terminal olefins and in the Suzuki reaction of aryl halides with arylboronic acids. Potassium tert-butoxide has been found to be a highly efficient catalyst for one-pot,three-component reaction of aryl aldehydes, acetophenones,and thiols via Claisen-Schmidt/Michael addition reactions for the synthesis of thia-Michael adducts in high yields. A convenient one-pot synthetic method for the formation of alkyl aryl sulfides from various alkyl halides and lithium aryl thiolates that are prepared in situ by direct halogen-lithium exchange is reported. Sulfur‐containing molecules such as thioethers are commonly found in chemical biology, organic synthesis, and materials chemistry. While many reliable methods have been developed for preparing these compounds, harsh reaction conditions are usually required in the traditional methods. The transition metals have been applied in this field, and the palladium‐catalyzed coupling of thiols with aryl halides and pseudo halides is one of the most important methods in the synthesis of thioethers. Other metals have also been used for the same purpose. Here, we summarize recent efforts in metal‐catalyzed C? S bond cross‐coupling reactions, focusing especially on the coupling of thiols with aryl‐ and vinyl halides based on different metals.  相似文献
