A method for identification of fast and slow steps of catalytic cycles is suggested. This method provides reliable data for reactions conducted at an unsteady-state catalyst concentration. It has been used in the determination of the rate-determining step in the Heck reaction of aryl bromides and in the Suzuki reaction of aryl bromides and aryl iodides. The data obtained by this method are in agreement with the data obtained by other methods, including kinetic isotope effect measurements.  相似文献

A palladium complex, 1-phenyl-1,2-propanedione-2-oxime thiosemi-carbazone-functionalized polystyrene resin supported Pd(II), is found to be a highly active catalyst for the Heck reaction of methyl acrylate with aryl halides and Suzuki reaction of phenylboronic acid with aryl iodides and bromides, giving excellent yields. The reactions were performed under phosphine-free conditions in an air atmosphere. The palladium catalyst is easily separated, and can be reused for several times without a significant loss in its catalytic activity.  相似文献

[reaction: see text] The influence of palladium catalysts and reaction conditions on the selectivity of Heck reactions of aryl bromides with cyclohexene and cyclopentene has been investigated. It is shown that the addition of DMSO as a cosolvent leads to improved selectivities of nonconjugated aryl olefins. On the other hand, high selectivities for conjugated arylcyclopentenes have been obtained with the catalytic system DMA/Na2CO3/Pd2(dba)3 x dba/PCy3.  相似文献

cis,cis,cis-1,2,3,4-Tetrakis(diphenylphosphinomethyl)cyclopentane/[PdCl(C3H5)]2 efficiently catalyses the Heck reaction of β-substituted enol ethers with aryl bromides. Employing β-methoxystyrene, 3-ethoxyacrylonitrile or methyl 3-methoxyacrylate, the regioselective α-arylation of these enol ethers was observed in all cases, and mixtures of Z and E isomers were generally obtained, which in many cases yielded a single ketone product after acid treatment. The stereoselectivity of this reaction depends on steric and electronic factors, and better stereoselectivities in favour of Z isomers were observed with electron-rich or sterically congested aryl bromides. Better yields were obtained for this reaction with electron-rich or sterically congested aryl bromides than with electron-poor aryl bromides. This observation suggests that with these β-substituted enol ethers the rate-limiting step of the catalytic cycle is not the oxidative addition of the aryl bromide to the palladium complex.  相似文献

Using a simple method based on an analysis of the phase trajectories of competing reactions of several substrates, it has been established that the selectivity of catalytically active species in the Suzuki reaction of aryl bromides depends on the nature of the catalyst precursor. This indicates that there is a considerable contribution from heterogeneous catalysis. At the same time, in the reaction involving aryl iodides, when the catalyst concentration in the solution is much higher, the selectivity of the catalyst is precursor-independent, suggesting that homogeneous catalysis is dominant. In the Heck reaction of both aryl bromides and aryl iodides, pure homogeneous catalysis takes place.  相似文献

Phosphine-free palladium-salen complexes, N,N′-bis(salicylidene)-ethylenediamino-palladium and N,N′-bis(salicylidene)-1,2-phenylenediamino palladium, are found to be highly active catalysts for the Heck olefination of aryl iodides and Suzuki reaction of aryl iodides and bromides giving excellent yields (70-90%) of products under aerobic conditions, in short reaction times (10-60 min).  相似文献

Homocoupling reactions of aryl bromides or iodides proceeded smoothly with palladium on carbon (Pd/C) catalyst, ethanol and base in dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) to afford exclusively symmetric biaryls in good to excellent yields. Ethanol was first used as a reducing agent in situ to reduce the Pd2+/C species into Pd0/C active species to complete the catalytic redox cycle. It was found that ethanol can promote the Pd/C‐catalyzed reductive homocoupling of aryl iodides and bromides efficiently in the presence of base. A polyaniline‐anchored palladium catalyst was prepared and screened for coupling reactions of aryl halides. The robust and recyclable catalyst was effective in Mizoroki–Heck and Suzuki–Miyaura reactions of aryl bromides and aryl iodides. Aryl sulfides were obtained from the coupling reaction of S-aryl (or S-alkyl) thioacetates and aryl bromides in the presence of palladium catalyst. We demonstrate that sterically bulky N,N'-disubstituted cyclic thiourea-Pd(0) complexes are air- and moisture-stable and highly active catalysts for palladium-catalyzed Heck reaction of aryl iodides and bromides with olefins (TONs up to 500000 for the reaction of PhI and methyl acrylate). Even activated aryl chlorides can undergo complete conversion in Bu(4)NBr in the presence of 1 mol % Pd catalyst.  相似文献

A new fluorous PCP pincer ligand has been coordinated to Ni(II), Pd(II) and Pt(II). The air stable palladium complex, which promotes Heck reactions between methyl acrylate and either aryl bromides or iodides, can be recovered intact by fluorous solid-phase extraction and was reused four times in the Heck reaction between methyl acrylate and 4-bromoacetophenone without loss in catalytic activity.  相似文献

We report a novel catalyst system with an immobilized palladium metal‐containing magnetic nanoparticle core (ImmPd(0)‐MNPs) for the Heck reaction. ImmPd(0)‐MNPs was found to be an exceptionally mild and versatile catalyst for the Heck reaction of aryl iodides and bromides at room temperature. The catalyst was simply recovered using an external magnet from the reaction mixture and recycled six times. The results showed that the catalyst was very active and stable. Moreover, the reaction was carried out in water as a green and environmentally acceptable solvent. In terms of scope and mildness, ImmPd(0)‐MNPs is an improvement over previously reported catalysts for Heck coupling methods.  相似文献

In situ generation of highly active palladium species by intermediate dissolution of Pd from solid supported catalysts has been demonstrated to be a very successful approach for the activation of aryl chlorides in Heck reactions. The new ‘heterogeneous’ Pd catalysts act as reservoir for molecular Pd species with unsaturated coordination sphere in solution. Crucial Pd leaching and re-deposition onto the support can be controlled by optimization of reaction conditions and by the properties of the catalysts. Pd is re-deposited onto the support at the end of the reaction. The catalysts, palladium supported on activated carbon, on various metal oxides or fluorides and Pd complexes in zeolites, are easy to prepare, though the preparation conditions are crucial. The catalysts convert all aryl bromides completely within minutes (TON 100,000). Aryl chlorides (even deactivated ones) are converted with high yields, within 2-6 h. The catalysts belong to the most active ones in Heck reactions at all (including best homogeneous systems) and fulfill all relevant requirements for practical applications in laboratory and industry.  相似文献

Novel catalytic system based on palladium nanoparticles supported on poly (N-vinylpyrrolidone) (PVP) grafted silica was prepared. Aminopropylsilica was reacted with acryloyl chloride to form acrylamidopropylsilica, and onto this functionalized silica vinylpyrrolidone monomer was polymerized by free-radical polymerization. The complexation of PVP-grafted silica with PdCl2 was carried out to obtain the heterogeneous catalytic system. X-ray diffraction (XRD) technique and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) image showed that palladium dispersed through the support in nanometer size. This catalytic system exhibited excellent activity in cross-coupling reactions of aryl iodides, bromides and also chlorides with olefinic compounds in Heck-Mizoraki reactions in short reaction time and high yields. Elemental analysis of Pd by inductively coupled plasma (ICP) technique and hot filtration test showed low leaching of the metal into solution from the supported catalyst. The catalyst can be reused several times in repeating Heck reaction cycles without considerable loss in its activity.  相似文献

A procedure for benzylic C-H activation has been developed using a palladium 1,4-aryl to benzylic migration as a key step. Carboxylates and phenoxides readily trap the resulting benzylic palladium intermediates obtained from palladium ‘through space’ migration. Aryl bromides and iodides have been successfully employed in this reaction, furnishing moderate to good yields. The mechanism of this reaction has been studied by deuterium-labeling experiments, which suggest that the migration of palladium from an aryl to a benzylic position occurs reversibly. The reaction conditions developed for the migration process also oxidize the neighboring benzylic alcohols to the corresponding aldehydes and ketones.  相似文献

Heck reactions were carried out using phosphine-free tetradentate salicylaldimine ligand complexed with PdCl2 under mild reaction conditions, short reaction time, and low palladium loading. All aryl iodides underwent coupling reactions with olefins, giving corresponding trans-products, with good to excellent yields, whereas aryl bromides gave very poor yields and aryl chlorides failed to react.  相似文献

The cesium fluoride (CsF)-assisted cross-coupling reaction of (1-fluorovinyl)methyldiphenylsilane (1) with aryl halides and aryl triflates was examined. The reaction with aryl iodides smoothly proceeded to afford the corresponding (1-fluorovinyl)arenes in the presence of a catalytic amount of CuI and Pd(PPh(3))(4) in aprotic polar solvents such as DMF, DMI, DMA, and NMP in good yields. A variety of functional groups (nitro, ester, ketone, and ether) on the aromatic rings can be tolerated under these mild conditions. Aryl iodides are superior to aryl bromides as the coupling reaction partner. The cross-coupling reaction of 1 with aryl triflates instead of aryl halides was also accomplished in the presence of tetrabutylammonium iodide (n-Bu(4)NI) as the additive under similar conditions.  相似文献

The Heck cross-coupling of aryl iodides and bromides with olefins proceeds in the phosphonium salt ionic liquid trihexyl(tetradecyl)phosphonium chloride (THP-Cl) in excellent yields. A novel magnetic nanoparticle‐supported iminopyridine palladium complex was successfully prepared by attaching palladium acetate to iminopyridine ligand‐functionalized silica‐coated nano‐Fe3O4. The as‐prepared catalyst was well characterized and was evaluated in Heck reactions in terms of activity and recyclability. It was found to be highly efficient for the reactions of various aryl iodides and aryl bromides having electron‐withdrawing groups with olefins under phosphine‐free and inert atmosphere‐free conditions. Moreover, the catalyst could be conveniently recovered using an external magnet, and the recyclability was influenced by the base in the Heck reaction. The catalyst could be reused at least six times with no significant loss in activity when triethylamine acted as the base.  相似文献
