Chlorination of ribofuranose or 2-deoxyribofuranose derivatives was carried out in a 1,4-dioxane solution of hydrogen chloride. This improved procedure allowed the syntheses of 1-chloro-α-D -ribofuranose and 1-chloro-2-deoxy-α-D -ribofuranose derivatives and offered ease of handling, high yield, and the stereo-controlled α-configuration at C-I.  相似文献

Promoted by Samarium diiodide (SmI2), α,β‐unsaturated amides were formed from nitrogen anions (formed in situ by the reduction of nitro compounds) and α,β‐unsaturated esters. This reaction contrasts with the conjugate addition between amines and α,β‐unsaturated esters promoted by samarium triiodide (SmI3) and provides an alternative attractive way to obtain α,β‐unsaturated amides using SmI2.  相似文献

Under various basic solutions and reaction durations, 3-substituted 4-formyIsydnones and nitroalkanes containing α-active hydrogen (e.g. nitromethane and nitroethane) are converted to β-nitroalcohols, nitroalkenes and dinitroalkanes. β-Nitroalcohols are obtained only by electrochemical reaction on an electrogenerated base (EGB). The mechanism of overall reaction steps in particular is discussed.  相似文献

Reaction of α,β‐unsaturated ketones with cerium(IV) salts or lanthanide triflates in alcohols gave good yields of the corresponding β‐alkoxy compounds. In the case of 2‐cyclopentenone and 2‐cyclohexenone, the 1,1,3‐trialkoxy acetal derivatives were obtained preferentially accompanied by β‐alkoxyketone, except 2‐cycloheptenone. However, in the reaction of 2‐cycloheptenone with alcohol using cerium(IV) sulfate (CS)‐molecular sieve, 1,1,3‐trialkoxy derivatives were obtained. Also, in the cases of 1‐penten‐3‐one, 4‐hexen‐3‐one and 3‐hepten‐2‐one, 1,1,3‐trialkoxy derivatives were obtained preferentially. Copyright © 2006 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

A series of α-, β,β-, and α,β,β-deuterium-labelled acrylonitrile monomers were prepared and polymerized. Secondary deuterium isotope effects on the polymerization and on the pyrolysis reactions that precede carbon fiber formation were observed. When deuterium is in the α-position, the polymerization rate is greater and the molecular weight is higher. It is proposed that either the propagation rate constant or both that constant and the termination rate constant are increased on deuterium substitution. In differential scanning calorimetry, the polyacrylonitrile exotherm occurs at higher temperatures and is narrower when deuterium is substituted at the α-position. On the other hand, the thermal gravimetric analysis activation energy for weight loss of polymer at temperatures below the acrylic exotherm is lower when deuterium is in the α-position, relative to the α-hydrogen polymers. As there is no correlation between the weight loss energy of activation and the various exotherm parameters, the weight loss energy of activation and the various exotherm parameters, the weight loss and exotherm are considered to be independent events. Examination of the distribution of deuterium substituted ammonia species evolved during 100–240°C thermal treatment of the α-and β, β-deuterated polyacrylonitriles provides a clear indication that both the α- and β-positions are directly involved in hydrogen migration to nitrogen, but the mechanism of ammonia generation remains unclear. © 1995 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

The reaction of 3-(4-aryl-2-thiazolyl)- and 3-(2-benzothiazolyl)-2-iminocoumarins with N-nucleophiles was studied. This reaction gives 2-N-substituted 3-(4-aryl-2-thiazolyl)- and 3-(2-benzothiazolyl)iminocourmarins. N-Nucleophiles such as arylamines, heterocyclic amines, and hydrazine derivatives undergo this reaction.  相似文献

The thermal condensation of β-keto esters and N-unsubstituted pyrazol-5-ones gives good yields of pyrano[2,3-c]pyrazol-6-ones. Other potential routes for the condensation are not realized. Abstract

Synthesis of some new functionalized thiazolidin-4-ones and α-amino phosphonate derivatives has been reported. The imines were synthesized from the reaction of various substituted anilines with 1-phenyl-3-(pyridine-4-yl)-1H-pyrazole-4-carbaldehyde in ethanol at reflux condition. The corresponding thiazolidin-4-ones and α-aminophosphonates were prepared by reaction of imines with mercaptoacetic acid and triethyl phosphite, respectively. The structures of the newly synthesized compounds were confirmed by IR, 1H NMR, and mass spectral data and were evaluated for their antimicrobial activities.

Semihydrogenation of α,β‐unsaturated ynoates and ‐ynones bearing a γ‐alkoxy group can be performed using triphenylphosphine and water. α,β‐Unsaturated ynoates were reduced to a mixture of cis and trans α,β‐unsaturated enoates, whereas, ynones were reduced to trans α,β‐unsaturated enones as the only products.  相似文献

3-Hydroxy-3-(2-oxoethyl)-6-phenyl-2,3-dihydropyridazin-4(1H)-ones were obtained by the reaction of methyl 3-oxo-5-phenylfuran-2(3H)-ylideneacetate or 2-[2-(4-chlorophenyl)-2-oxoethylidene]-5-phenylfuran-3(2H)-one with benzoic or p-nitrobenzoic isopropylidenehydrazides. The dimerization of methyl methacrylate, ethyl methacrylate, methacrylonitrile, and α-methylstyrene to 2-substituted-1-allylic compounds [CH2?C(X)CH2C(CH3)2X] (X = COOR, C6H5, or CN), and methyl α-ethylacrylate to a 3-substituted-2-allylic compound [CH3CH?C(COOCH3)CH2C(CH3)(C2H5) COOCH3] was carried out by catalytic chain transfer using benzylbis (dimethylglyoximato) (pyridine) cobalt (III). These dimers were then used as addition-fragmentation chain transfer agents in the polymerizations of methyl methacrylate and styrene at 800C or above. Cross-dimers from methacrylic ester-α-methylstyrene and methacrylonitrile-α-methylstyrene mixtures were similarly prepared. Except for those from methyl α-ethylacrylate and methacrylonitrile, all the dimers participated in the addition-fragmentation and the copolymerization to different extents. The dimer of methyl α-ethylacrylate was actually inactive during the styrene and methyl methacrylate polymerizations. The methacrylonitrile dimer was primarily incorporated in the polymer chain through copolymerization. Among the dimer and the cross-dimers from α-methylstyrene with the other monomers, those bearing the α-methylstyrene moiety in the α-substituent [CH2?C(X)CH2C(CH3)2C6H5, X?COOCH3, COOC2H5, and CN] are noted as highly reactive chain transfer agents. © 1994 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

Aryl α,α-difluoroalkyl ketones were synthesized from the reaction of ethyl α,α-difluoroacylate with aryl lithium at ?78°C or from the coupling of aryl iododifluoromethyl ketone with 1-alkene in the presence of tetcrakis(triphenylphosphine)palladium(0). These compounds were potent inhibitors of pancreatic cholesterol esterase with Ki values in the range 15 μM-20 nM.  相似文献

Phenanthrene derivatives were prepared by reacting an α,α‐dicyanoolefin with different α,β‐unsaturated carbonyl compounds resulting from Wittig reaction of ninhydrin and phosphanylidene or condensation of barbituric acid and an aldehyde. The easy procedure, mild and metal‐catalyst free, reaction conditions, good yields, and no need for chromatographic purifications are important features of this protocol. The structures of the product of type 3 and 5 were corroborated spectroscopically (IR, 1H‐ and 13C‐NMR, and EI‐MS). A plausible mechanism for this type of reaction is proposed (Scheme 1).  相似文献

Fluorinated (β)-sultones are formed on addition of sulfur trioxide to fluorinated olefins. Tetrafluoroethanesultone has been studied particularly thoroughly. The title compounds are characterized by the ease with which they undergo ring cleavage to give, e.g., derivatives of α-sulfo carboxylic acids, of sulfonic acids, of carboxylic acids, and of sulfuric acid. Fluorinated compounds of this type containing an α-hydrogen atom are especially valuable in preparative work.  相似文献
