This article studies new applications of advanced methods of variational analysis and generalized differentiation to constrained problems of multiobjective/vector optimization. We pay most attention to general notions of optimal solutions for multiobjective problems that are induced by geometric concepts of extremality in variational analysis, while covering various notions of Pareto and other types of optimality/efficiency conventional in multiobjective optimization. Based on the extremal principles in variational analysis and on appropriate tools of generalized differentiation with well-developed calculus rules, we derive necessary optimality conditions for broad classes of constrained multiobjective problems in the framework of infinite-dimensional spaces. Applications of variational techniques in infinite dimensions require certain ‘normal compactness’ properties of sets and set-valued mappings, which play a crucial role in deriving the main results of this article.  相似文献

This paper concerns the study of the so-called super minimizers related to the concept of super efficiency in constrained problems of multiobjective optimization, where cost mappings are generally set-valued. We derive necessary conditions for super minimizers on the base of advanced tools of variational analysis and generalized differentiation that are new in both finite-dimensional and infinite-dimensional settings for problems with single-valued and set-valued objectives.   相似文献

The primary goal of this paper is to study some notions of normals to nonconvex sets in finite-dimensional and infinite-dimensional spaces and their images under single-valued and set-valued mappings. The main motivation for our study comes from variational analysis and optimization, where the problems under consideration play a crucial role in many important aspects of generalized differential calculus and applications. Our major results provide precise equality formulas (sometimes just efficient upper estimates) allowing us to compute generalized normals in various senses to direct and inverse images of nonconvex sets under single-valued and set-valued mappings between Banach spaces. The main tools of our analysis revolve around variational principles and the fundamental concept of metric regularity properly modified in this paper.  相似文献

The paper is devoted to new applications of advanced tools of modern variational analysis and generalized differentiation to the study of broad classes of multiobjective optimization problems subject to equilibrium constraints in both finite-dimensional and infinite-dimensional settings. Performance criteria in multiobjective/vector optimization are defined by general preference relationships satisfying natural requirements, while equilibrium constraints are described by parameterized generalized equations/variational conditions in the sense of Robinson. Such problems are intrinsically nonsmooth and are handled in this paper via appropriate normal/coderivative/subdifferential constructions that exhibit full calculi. Most of the results obtained are new even in finite dimensions, while the case of infinite-dimensional spaces is significantly more involved requiring in addition certain “sequential normal compactness” properties of sets and mappings that are preserved under a broad spectrum of operations.  相似文献

We propose relaxed lower semicontinuity properties for set-valued mappings, using weak τ-functions, and employ them to weaken known lower semicontinuity assumptions to get enhanced Ekeland’s variational principle for Pareto minimizers of set-valued mappings and underlying minimal-element principles. The paper mostly concerns applications of the generalized differentiation theory in variational analysis to Lipschitzian stability and metric regularity of variational systems in infinite-dimensional spaces. The main tools of our analysis involve coderivatives of set-valued mappings that turn out to be proper extensions of the adjoint derivative operator to nonsmooth and set-valued mappings. The involved coderivatives allow us to give complete dual characterizations of certain fundamental properties in variational analysis and optimization related to Lipschitzian stability and metric regularity. Based on these characterizations and extended coderivative calculus, we obtain efficient conditions for Lipschitzian stability of variational systems governed by parametric generalized equations and their specifications.  相似文献

The paper is devoted to developing second-order tools of variational analysis and their applications to characterizing tilt-stable local minimizers of constrained optimization problems infinite-dimensional spaces with many results new also in finite-dimensional settings. The importance of tilt stability has been well recognized from both theoretical and numerical aspects of optimization. Based on second-order generalized differentiation, we obtain qualitative and quantitative characterizations of tilt stability in general frameworks of constrained optimization and establish its relationships with strong metric regularity of subgradient mappings and uniform second-order growth. The results obtained are applied to deriving new necessary and sufficient conditions for tilt-stable minimizers in problems of nonlinear programming with twice continuously differentiable data in Hilbert spaces.  相似文献

Some existence results for generalized variational inequalities and generalized complementarity problems involving quasimonotone and pseudomonotone set-valued mappings in reflexive Banach spaces are proved. In particular, some known results for nonlinear variational inequalities and complementarity problems in finite-dimensional and infinite-dimensional Hilbert spaces are generalized to quasimonotone and pseudomonotone set-valued mappings and reflexive Banach spaces. Application to a class of generalized nonlinear complementarity problems studied as mathematical models for mechanical problems is given.The research of the first author was supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of P. This paper is devoted to present new sufficient conditions for both the metric regularity in the Robinson??s sense and the Lipschitz-like property in the Aubin??s sense of implicit multifunctions in general Banach spaces. The basic tools of our analysis involve the Clarke subdifferential, the Clarke coderivative of set-valued mappings, and the Ekeland variational principle. In this paper, we further study a class of generalized constrained multiobjective games where the number of players may be finite or infinite, the strategy sets may be general FC-spaces without local convexity structure, and all payoff functions get their values in infinite-dimensional topological vector spaces. By using an existence theorem of maximal elements for a family of set-valued mappings in FC-spaces due to the author, an existence theorem of solutions for a system of generalized vector quasivariational inclusions is first proved in general FC-spaces. By applying the existence result of solutions of the system of generalized vector quasivariational inclusions, some existence theorems of (weak) Pareto equilibria for the generalized constrained multiobjective games are established in noncompact product FC-spaces. Some special cases of our results are also discussed. Our results are new and different from the corresponding known results in the literature.  相似文献

We present a new approach to the study of a set-valued equilibrium problem (for short, SEP) through the study of a set-valued optimization problem with a geometric constraint (for short, SOP) based on an equivalence between solutions of these problems. As illustrations, we adapt to SEP enhanced notions of relative Pareto efficient solutions introduced in set optimization by Bao and Mordukhovich and derive from known or new optimality conditions for various efficient solutions of SOP similar results for solutions of SEP as well as for solutions of a vector equilibrium problem and a vector variational inequality.We also introduce the concept of quasi weakly efficient solutions for the above problems and divide all efficient solutions under consideration into the Pareto-type group containing Pareto efficient, primary relative efficient, intrinsic relative efficient, quasi relative efficient solutions and the weak Pareto-type group containing quasi weakly efficient, weakly efficient, strongly efficient, positive properly efficient, Henig global properly efficient, Henig properly efficient, super efficient and Benson properly efficient solutions. The necessary conditions for Pareto-type efficient solutions and necessary/sufficient conditions for weak Pareto-type efficient solutions formulated here are expressed in terms of the Ioffe approximate coderivative and normal cone in the Banach space setting and in terms of the Mordukhovich coderivative and normal cone in the Asplund space setting.  相似文献

Exploiting some tools of modern variational analysis involving the approximate extremal principle, the fuzzy sum rule for the Fréchet subdifferential, the sum rule for the limiting subdifferential and the scalarization formulae of the coderivatives, we establish necessary conditions for (weakly) efficient solutions of a multiobjective optimization problem with inequality and equality constraints. Sufficient conditions for (weakly) efficient solutions of an aforesaid problem are also provided by means of employing L-(strictly) invex-infine functions defined in terms of the limiting subdifferential. We derive stability criteria for saddle points of a class of nonsmooth optimization problems in Hilbert spaces arising in PDE-constrained optimization, using metric regularity of infinite-dimensional set-valued mappings. A main ingredient is an explicit pointwise characterization of the regular coderivative of the subdifferential of convex integral functionals. This is applied to several stability properties for parameter identification problems for an elliptic partial differential equation with non-differentiable data fitting terms.  相似文献

In this paper, we develop a geometric approach to convex subdifferential calculus in finite dimensions with employing some ideas of modern variational analysis. This approach allows us to obtain natural and rather easy proofs of basic results of convex subdifferential calculus in full generality and also derive new results of convex analysis concerning optimal value/marginal functions, normals to inverse images of sets under set-valued mappings, calculus rules for coderivatives of single-valued and set-valued mappings, and calculating coderivatives of solution maps to parameterized generalized equations governed by set-valued mappings with convex graphs.  相似文献

We use some advanced tools of variational analysis and generalized differentiation such as the nonsmooth version of Fermat’s rule, the limiting/Mordukhovich subdifferential of maximum functions, and the sum rules for the Fréchet subdifferential and for the limiting one to establish necessary conditions for (local) properly efficient solutions and (local) isolated minimizers of a multiobjective optimization problem involving inequality and equality constraints. Sufficient conditions for the existence of such solutions are also provided under assumptions of (local) convex/affine functions or L-invex-infine functions defined in terms of the limiting subdifferential of locally Lipschitz functions. In addition, we propose a type of Wolfe dual problems and examine weak/strong duality relations under L-invexity-infineness hypotheses.  相似文献

New results are established for multiobjective DC programs with infinite convex constraints (MOPIC) that are defined on Banach spaces (finite or infinite dimensional) with objectives given as the difference of convex functions. This class of problems can also be called multiobjective DC semi-infinite and infinite programs, where decision variables run over finite-dimensional and infinite-dimensional spaces, respectively. Such problems have not been studied as yet. Necessary and sufficient optimality conditions for the weak Pareto efficiency are introduced. Further, we seek a connection between multiobjective linear infinite programs and MOPIC. Both Wolfe and Mond-Weir dual problems are presented, and corresponding weak, strong, and strict converse duality theorems are derived for these two problems respectively. We also extend above results to multiobjective fractional DC programs with infinite convex constraints. The results obtained are new in both semi-infinite and infinite frameworks.  相似文献

This paper deals with Lagrange multiplier rules for constrained set-valued optimization problems in infinite-dimensional spaces, where the multipliers appear as scalarization functions of the maps instead of the derivatives. These rules provide necessary conditions for weak minimizers under hypotheses of stability, convexity, and directional compactness. Counterexamples show that the hypotheses are minimal.  相似文献
