We calculate the strong coupling constant g ΔN π and study the strong decay Δ++p π with light-cone QCD sum rules. The numerical value of the strong coupling constant g ΔN π is consistent with the experimental data. The small discrepancy may be due to the failure to take into account perturbative corrections.  相似文献

The KNΛ and KNΣ coupling constants have been calculated in the framework of the Chiral Bag Model(CBM). We find −3.88 ≤g KNΛ≤−3.67 and 1.15 ≤g KNΣ≤ 1.24 by taking into account pseudoscalar mesons (π, K) and vector mesons (ρ, ω, K *) field effects. Particularly, it is shown that vector mesons make significant contributions to the coupling constants g KNΛ and g KNΣ. Our values are existing within the experimental limits compared to the phenomenological values extracted from the kaon photoproduction and kaon-nucleon scattering experiments. Also, form factors are suggested for the πNN, πNΔ, KNΛ and KNΣ couplings. Received: 17 August 1998 / Revised version: 22 December 1998  相似文献

The classical treatment of quasi-spherical vesicle undulations has, in the present work, been reviewed and extended to systems, which are affected by a gravitational field caused by a density difference across the membrane. The effects have been studied by the use of perturbation theory leading to corrections to the mean shape and the fluctuation correlation matrix. These corrections have been included in an analytical expression for the flicker spectrum to probe how the experimentally accessible spectrum changes with gravity. The results are represented in terms of the gravitational parameter, g 0 = ΔρgR 4/κ. The contributions from gravity are in most experimental situations small and thus negligible, but for values of g0 above a certain limit, the perturbational corrections must be included. Expressions for the relative error on the flicker spectrum have been worked out, so that it is possible to define the regime where gravity is negligible. An upper limit of g0 has also been identified, where the error in all modes of the flicker spectrum is significant due to distortion of the mean shape. The values of the Landé g factors of the i 3Π g , v, N and j 3Δ g , v, N states of the H2, HD, and D2 molecules have been found semiempirically for the following vibrational and rotational quantum numbers: v≤3; N≤7 for H2; N≤5 for HD; and N≤11 for D2. These values were obtained in terms of the nonadiabatic model, which takes into account the interaction between the 3dπ3Πg and 3dδ3Δg states with the same values of v and N in the approximation of pure precession, with the use of semiempirical values of the expansion coefficients of the wave functions in the Born-Oppenheimer basis determined by us previously and the results of numerical calculation of the overlap integrals of the vibrational wave functions of these states. The results obtained for the H2 molecule are in good agreement with the data in the literature. For the i 3Π g and j 3Δ g states of the HD and D2 molecules, the g factors were found for the first time. This made it possible to study for the first time the role of the isotopic effect in the perturbation of the dependences of the g factors of rovibrational levels on v and N for the triplet electronic states of the hydrogen molecule. It was found that the interference effects of interaction between the 3dπ3Πg and 3dδ3Δg states lead both to significant differences—up to 8, 6, and 11 times for H2, HD, and D2, respectively (the i 3Π g state), 20 times for H2 and HD, and two orders of magnitude for D2 (the j 3Δ g state)—between the nonadiabatic values of the g factors and the corresponding adiabatic values for some isotopomers of the hydrogen molecule and to significant differences—up to 9 and 1.5 times for the j 3Δ g and i 3Π g states, respectively—in the nonadiabatic values of the g factors of rovibrational levels of different isotopomers of the hydrogen molecule. __________ Translated from Optika i Spektroskopiya, Vol. 96, No. 1, 2004, pp. 42–54. We used known experimental data to analyze the influence of intermolecular interactions on the position of the 0-0-band a1Δg → X3Σ g phosphorescence of molecular oxygen in solutions. A bathochromic (red) shift caused by dispersion interactions and fluctuations of the internal electric field (induction effect) is analyzed employing new formulas obtained by us in the framework of the Onsager model. The contributions from intermolecular repulsion and higher multipole interactions to the shift of the spectrum are also discussed. It is found that the polarizability in the a1Δg state is higher than in the X3Σ g t- state by 0.19 ± 0.03 Å3. Taking into account the induced nature of O2 phosphorescence in solutions, it is noted that the change of polarizability Δαeg = 0.19 Å3 should differ from the change of Δαeg inherent in free molecular oxygen. __________ Translated from Zhurnal Prikladnoi Spektroskopii, Vol. 74, No. 4, pp. 453–459, July–August, 2007.  相似文献

The light cone QCD sum rules are derived for the K * Kπ coupling g K * Kπ and the ρππ coupling g ρππ. The contribution from the excited states and the continuum is subtracted cleanly through the double Borel transform with respect to the two external momenta, p 1 2, p 2 2= (pq)2. Our result g K * Kπ= (8.7 ± 0.5) and g ρππ= (11.5 ± 0.8) is in good agreement with the experimental value. Received: 31 July 1998 / Revised version: 20 November 1998  相似文献

The quadrupole moment for the πg 9/2⊗νh 11/2 band in the 130>Pr nucleus has been measured using the Doppler-shift attenuation method. A centroid shift analysis was carried out and a value of Q0=6.1±0.4 eb, corresponding to an axial prolate deformation of β2=0.35(3), has been determined. This is the first direct experimental confirmation of the deformation-driving character of the πg 9/2 orbital in an odd-odd nucleus in the A≃135 superdeformed region. The matrix elements of the effective Hamiltonian in the 0g 9/2-1p 1/2 space are determined by a least-square fit to the energies of 477 levels of nuclei with 38≤Z≤50 and 47≤N≤50. The results of the calculation are found to be in better agreement with experiment than those obtained with previously determined interactions. We study phenomenon of electromagnetically induced absorption (EIA) in the Hanle configuration by applying a perturbative method to solve linear system of optical Bloch equations (OBEs) for the case of closed F g = 1 → F e = 2 transition. The method is applied assuming stationary case and a weak laser fields (Ω ≪ Γ, i.e., Rabi frequency small compared to spontaneous emission rate). This way, we calculate (both numerically and analytically) higher order corrections to density matrix. Odd corrections give contributions to optical coherences, while even corrections contribute to populations and Zeeman coherences. The method gives insight into mechanism of transfer of coherences and transfer of populations between Zeeman sublevels. We have found that the ground-state coherences (2nd correction to coherences) are crucial for the 4th correction to the change of populations which brings EIA type behavior of the Hanle spectrum. Using exact analytical expressions we further discuss further the role of decoherence of the ground-state sublevels when forming EIA.  相似文献

We show that the dynamics of disordered charge density waves (CDWs) and spin density waves (SDWs) is a collective phenomenon. The very low temperature specific heat relaxation experiments are characterized by: (i) “interrupted” ageing (meaning that there is a maximal relaxation time); and (ii) a broad power-law spectrum of relaxation times which is the signature of a collective phenomenon. We propose a random energy model that can reproduce these two observations and from which it is possible to obtain an estimate of the glass cross-over temperature (typically T g≃ 100-200 mK). The broad relaxation time spectrum can also be obtained from the solutions of two microscopic models involving randomly distributed solitons. The collective behavior is similar to domain growth dynamics in the presence of disorder and can be described by the dynamical renormalization group that was proposed recently for the one dimensional random field Ising model [D.S. Fisher, P. Le Doussal, C. Monthus, Phys. Rev. Lett. 80, 3539 (1998)]. The typical relaxation time scales like ∼τexp(T g/T). The glass cross-over temperature Tg related to correlations among solitons is equal to the average energy barrier and scales like T g∼ 2xξΔ. x is the concentration of defects, ξ the correlation length of the CDW or SDW and Δ the charge or spin gap. We calculate at two-loop order in chiral perturbation theory the electromagnetic corrections to the leading-order 2π exchange NN interaction proportional to g A 0 and g A 2. The resulting 2πγ exchange potential contains isospin-breaking components which reach up to about -2% of the corresponding isovector 2π exchange potential. With a value of only -17keV at r = m π -1 = 1.4fm the charge-independence breaking central potential obtained here is negligibly small in comparison to the one generated by the isoscalar c3 contact vertex. Our calculation confirms that the largest long-range isospin-violating NN potentials arise from the 2πγ exchange diagrams involving the large low-energy constants c 4 ≃ - c 3 ≃ 3.3GeV^-1 representing the important Δ(1232) dynamics.  相似文献

The effective linear and nonlinear optical properties of metal/dielectric composite media, in which ellipsoidal metal inclusions are distributed in shape, are investigated. The shape distribution function P(L x, L y) is assumed to be 2Δ-2θ(L x - 1/3 + Δ/3)θ(L y - 1/3 + Δ/3)θ(2/3 + Δ/3 - L x - L y), where θ( . . . ) is the Heaviside function, Δ is the shape variance and Li are the depolarization factors of the ellipsoidal inclusions along i-symmetric axes (i = x, y). Within the spectral representation, we adopt Maxwell-Garnett type approximation to study the effect of shape variance Δ on the effective nonlinear optical properties. Numerical results show that both the effective linear optical absorption α ∼ ωIm() and the modulus of the effective third-order optical nonlinearity enhancement |χ(3) e|/χ(3) 1 exhibit the nonmonotonic behavior with Δ. Moreover, with increasing Δ, the optical absorption and the nonlinearity enhancement bands become broad, accompanied with the decrease of their peaks. The adjustment of Δ from 0 to 1 allows us to examine the crossover behavior from no separation to large separation between optical absorption and nonlinearity enhancement peaks. As Δ → 0, i.e., the ellipsoidal shape deviates slightly from the spherical one, the dependence of |χ(3) e|/χ(3) 1 on Δ becomes strong first and then weak with increasing the imaginary part of inclusions' dielectric constant. In the dilute limit, the exact formula for the effective optical nonlinearity is derived, and the present approximation characterizes the exact results better than old mean field one does. Kinetic processes taking place in the atomic-molecular system O-O2-O3 in the middle atmosphere with the participation of oxygen molecules in the excited electronic states O2(a 1Δg) and O2(b 1Σ g + ) are analyzed in detail. The possibility of increased ozone production under the influence of solar radiation during the laser excitation of O2 molecules in the a 1Δg state is demonstrated on the basis of numerical modeling. Upper and lower bounds are determined for the densities of O2(a 1Δg) molecules at which the ozone concentration increases in the irradiated zone. Zh. Tekh. Fiz. 68, 15–23 (August 1998)  相似文献

The electromagnetic polarizabilities of the nucleon are shown to be essentially composed of the nonresonant α p(E 0+) = + 3.2, α n(E 0+) = + 4.1, the t-channel α t p, n = - β t p, n = + 7.6 and the resonant β p, n(P 33(1232)) = + 8.3 contributions (in units of 10-4fm^3). The remaining deviations from the experimental data Δα p = 1.2±0.6, Δβ p = 1.2±0.6, Δα n = 0.8±1.7 and Δβ n = 2.0±1.8 are contributed by a larger number of resonant and nonresonant processes with cancellations between the contributions. This result confirms that dominant contributions to the electric and magnetic polarizabilities may be represented in terms of two-photon coupling to the σ-meson having the predicted mass m σ = 666MeV and two-photon width Γ γγ = 2.6keV.  相似文献

We compare the higher-twist (HT) contribution to the unpolarized structure function F 3 with its contribution to the nonsinglet combination g 1 p -g 1 n of the polarized proton and neutron structure functions using the assumption that the HT contributions to the Gross-Llewellyn Smith and the Bjorken sum rules are similar. We have found that the relation is valid for x≥0.1 and for x≥0.2 in the case of LO and NLO QCD approximations, respectively. The text was submitted by the author in English.  相似文献

We investigate near-threshold neutral pion photoproduction off protons to fourth order in heavy-baryon chiral perturbation theory in the light of the new data from MAMI. We show that the unitarity cusp at the secondary π+ n threshold is in agreement with expectations from the final-state theorem. We also analyze the fourth-order corrections to the P-wave low-energy theorems and show that potentially large Δ isobar contributions are cancelled by sizeable pion loop effects. This solidifies the parameter-free third-order predictions, which are in good agreement with the data. Received: 25 May 2001 / Accepted: 21 June 2001  相似文献

Muon capture on hydrogen gives a unique possibility for a measurement of the pseudo-scalar form factor g p (q c 2 = -0.88 m μ 2 ) of the nucleonic weak current, thus providing a sensitive test of the QCD chiral symmetry perturbation theory which predicts the value of this form factor with a precision of Δg p /g p ≃ 2%. For adequate comparison with theory, the muon capture rate Λc should be measured with a precision of ΔΛcc ≤ 1%, that is an order of magnitude better than the precision of the present world data. We report on the project of an experiment designed to provide the required precision. Also, we present the final result of our previous experiment on a high precision measurement of the μ3He capture rate and compare this result with the PCAC prediction. This revised version was published online in August 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献

An original set-up is used to study the adhesive properties of two hemispherical soap bubbles put into contact. The contact angle at the line connecting the three films is extracted by image analysis of the bubbles profiles. After the initial contact, the angle rapidly reaches a static value slightly larger than the standard 120° angle expected from Plateau rule. This deviation is consistent with previous experimental and theoretical studies: it can be quantitatively predicted by taking into account the finite size of the Plateau border (the liquid volume trapped at the vertex) in the free energy minimization. The visco-elastic adhesion properties of the bubbles are further explored by measuring the deviation Δθd(t) of the contact angle from the static value as the distance between the two bubbles supports is sinusoidally modulated. It is found to linearly increase with Δr c/r c , where rc is the radius of the central film and Δr c the amplitude of modulation of this length induced by the displacement of the supports. The in-phase and out-of-phase components of Δθd(t) with the imposed modulation frequency are systematically probed, which reveals a transition from a viscous to an elastic response of the system with a crossover pulsation of the order 1rad · s^-1. Independent interfacial rheological measurements, obtained from an oscillating bubble experiment, allow us to develop a model of dynamic adhesion which is confronted to our experimental results. The relevance of such adhesive dynamic properties to the rheology of foams is briefly discussed using a perturbative approach to the Princen 2D model of foams.  相似文献

This work has established eight cross-talk transitions between the two signature partner superdeformed (SD) bands in 197Pb with the EUROBALL IV spectrometer. Directional correlations from oriented states measurements confirm the ΔI = 1 character of these transitions. The flat behaviour of the dynamical moment of inertia and the agreement between the experimental and microscopic HF+BCS values of (g K - g R)K/Q 0 suggest that the configuration of the SD bands is based upon the υ[752]5/2- neutron intruder orbital. The derived effective spin gyromagnetic factor g s eff is found to be not quenched, and is close to the theoretical g s free value. Received: 14 June 2000 / Accepted: 14 September 2000  相似文献
