Two new 1D coordination polymers, [Cu(3)(μ(3)-OH)(ppk)(3)(μ-N(CN)(2))(OAc)](n) (1) and {[Cu(4)(pdmH)(2)(pdm)(2)(μ(2)-OH)(H(2)O)]·ClO(4)}(n) (2) based on two different blocking ligands phenyl-2-pyridylketoxime (ppk) and pyridine-2,6-dimethanol (pdmH(2)) have been synthesized and were characterized by X-ray single crystal structural analysis. In compound 1, the hydroxido-bridged trinuclear core, {Cu(3)(μ(3)-OH)(ppk)(3)(OAc)}, acts as secondary building units and are connected by the N(CN)(2)(-) anions resulting in a one dimensional (1D) coordination polymer. The 1D coordination chains undergo π-π interactions giving rise to a 3D supramolecular framework. In compound 2, tetrameric [Cu(4)(pdmH)(2)(pdm)(2)(H(2)O)](2+) cores are linked via hydroxido groups forming a zigzag 1D coordination chain where non-coordinated ClO(4)(-) ions are intercalated between the chains. Variable temperature magnetic susceptibility study of suggests that Cu(II) ions in the trinuclear Cu(3)(μ(3)-OH) cores are antiferromagnetically coupled with J = -459.7 cm(-1) and g = 2.11 and the trinuclear cores are further weakly coupled antiferromagnetically (zj' = -5.25 cm(-1)) through the N(CN)(2)(-) bridging ligand. Investigation of the magnetic properties of reveals that Cu(II) ions are coupled antiferromagnetically in the tetranuclear core with J = -27.1 cm(-1) and g = 2.17; the Cu(II)(4) building units are further coupled antiferromagnetically with zj' = -9.65 cm(-1). The experimental magnetic behaviours of 1 and 2 are correlated by first principle DFT calculations which provide a qualitative understanding of the origin of antiferromagnetic interactions in both cases.  相似文献

Hydrothermal reaction of diaminomaleonitrile and copper salts under different conditions resulted in copper cyanide coordination polymers {[Cu(H 2O)(NH 3) 4][Cu 3(CN) 5].H 2O} n ( 1), {(CH 3) 4N[Cu(H 2O)(NH 3) 4][Cu 4(CN) 7]} n ( 2), and {(CH 3OH 2) 2[Cu 2(CN) 3]} n ( 3). 1 and 2 are new mixed-valence Cu(I,II), two 3D organic-inorganic molecular framework complexes that exhibit ionic inclusion. 3 is an open copper cyanide framework hosting a guest molecule. Cyanides in 1, 2, and 3 are produced by in situ C-C bond cleavage of diaminomaleonitrile, and then the remaining product is oxidized to form an oxalate group. The potential porosity of the hydrated coordination polymer 3 was estimated using a computational method based on Connolly's algorithm.  相似文献

Fused pyridazines (1,2,3,6,7,8-hexahydro-cinnolino[5,4,3-cde]cinnoline, L and its 2,2,7,7-tetramethyl derivative, Me4L) are designed as rigid multidentate ligands for the construction of framework solids. In combination with copper(I) bromide (iodide) they provide excellent structural examples for predictive engineering and the possibilities for further fine-tuning of the framework architectures facilitated by the tetradentate function of the ligands and effective cooperation of organic and inorganic bridges. This study features control over helical structures for (CuX)n chains and homo/heterochiral combination of the helices in the lattice, the design of a range of channelled and tubular CuX networks and the structural significance of ligand shape complementarity. 3D tetragonal Cu2X2(L) frameworks exist either as chiral or achiral supramolecular isomers Cu2I2(Me4L) and Cu12I12[Cu(CH3CN)]3(L)(6-)Cu3I6.CH3CN illustrate 3D hexagonal channelled and tubular arrays; Cu2I2(Me4L)(CH3CN) and Cu4I4(L)(CH3CN)2 complexes are 1D polymers.  相似文献

The first use of 2-pyridylcyanoxime, (py)C(CN)NOH, in transition metal chemistry is described. Depending on the nature of the metal starting material and the reaction conditions employed, the Cu(II)/(py)C(CN)NOH system has provided access to complexes [Cu(3)O{(py)C(CN)NO}(3)(NO(3))(H(2)O)(2)(MeOH)] (1), [Cu(4)O{(py)C(CN)NO}(4)(O(2)CMe)(2)] (2), [Cu(4)(OH)(2){(py)C(CN)NO}(2)(O(2)CPh)(4)](2n)·n[Cu(4)(OH)(2){(py)C(CN)NO}(2)(O(2)CPh)(4)] (3), and [Cu{(py)C(CN)NO}(2)](n) (4). The molecule of 1 consists of three Cu(II) atoms in a strictly equilateral arrangement bridged by a central μ(3)-oxide group. The molecule of 2 consists of a tetrahedron of Cu(II) atoms held together by a central μ(4)-oxide ion, four η(1):η(1):η(1):μ-(py)C(CN)NO(-) ligands and two η(1):η(1):μ-MeCO(2)(-) groups. The crystal structure of 3 consists of [Cu(4)(OH)(2){(py)C(CN)NO}(2)(O(2)CPh)(4)](2n) double chains and discrete cluster [Cu(4)(OH)(2){(py)C(CN)NO}(2)(O(2)CPh)(4)] molecules. The crystal structure of 4 consists of neutral polymeric chains based on centrosymmetric mononuclear [Cu{(py)C(CN)NO}(2)] units. The Cu(II) atoms are doubly bridged by the oximate groups of two η(1):η(1):η(1):μ-(py)C(CN)NO(-) ligands. Variable-temperature, solid-state direct current (dc) magnetic susceptibility studies were carried out for 1-4. The data indicate very strong antiferromagnetic exchange interactions for 1-3. The obtained J values are discussed in depth on the basis of the structural parameters of the complexes, literature reports, and existing magnetostructural correlations.  相似文献

Reactions of [WES3]2- (E = S, O) with CuX (X = NCS, CN, I) in the presence of bix (bix = 1,4-bis(imidazole-1-ylmethyl)benzene) in DMF or CH3CN resulted in the formation of two novel 2D --> 3D interpenetrating coordination polymers [S2W2S6Cu4(bix)2]n (1) and {[WS4Cu4(NCS)2(bix)3].CH3CN}n (2), a noninterpenetrating 3D polymer {[WS4Cu2(bix)].DMF}n (3), and two 2D sheet polymers [WS4Cu3(CN)(bix)]n (4) and {[OWS3Cu3(bix)2][I].DMF.2H2O}n (5), depending on the reaction temperature and the reagents used. Compound 1 contains a hexagonal prism of W2Cu4S6 cluster core, which serves as a 4-connecting node to link equivalent nodes via bix ligands, forming a 2D (4,4) net. In 2, a WCu4S4 core, which also acts as a 4-connecting node, connects the neighboring nodes either through single or double bix bridges, affording a different 2D (4,4) sheet. Inclined interpenetration occurs between two stacks of 2D sheets in the total structure of 1, while 2 involves a parallel interpenetration between the adjacent layers, both creating a 3D network. Compounds 1 and 2 represent the first examples of interpenetrating (4,4) frameworks with clusters as nodes and bidentate pyridyl-based ligands as linkers. Unlike 1 and 2, compound 3 has a noninterpenetrating 3D network, which is composed of the inorganic 1D (WS4Cu2)n chains linked by cis and trans bix ligands. Compound 4 features an inorganic 1D (WS4Cu3)n chain structure, which is linked by CN groups and bix ligands to form an infinite 2D network. Compound 5 is a 2D layer polymer with large inner cavities.  相似文献

The first examples of high-dimensional mixed-valence homometallic cyano-bridged copper complexes were synthesized and characterized: net-structured [Cu(CN)(4){Cu(cyclam)}(1.5)](2)(n)()(H(2)O)(5)(n) (1), ladder-type double-chain-structured [Cu(CN)(2){Cu(CN)(2)Cu(cyclam)}](n)()(H(2)O)(n) (2), layer-structured [{Cu(CN)(2)}(2)Cu(cycalm)](n) (3), and hydrogen-bond-based 2-D [Cu(CN)(3)Cu(cyclam)](n)()(CH(3)OH)(n) (4) (cyclam = 1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane). (1) Crystallizes in triclinic space group P with a = 8.3589(11) A, b = 13.478(2) A, c = 14.828(2) A, alpha = 66.895(2) degrees , beta = 77.916(3) degrees , gamma = 85.939(3) degrees , and Z = 1; (2) crystallizes in triclinic space group P with a = 8.2305(12) A, b = 9.8861(15) A, c = 13.219(2) A, alpha = 84.863(3) degrees , beta = 75.744(3) degrees , gamma = 89.818(3) degrees , and Z = 2; 3 crystallizes in monoclinic space group P2(1)/c with a = 6.830(2) A, b = 8.482(2) A, c = 17.306(4) A, beta = 98.144(4) degrees , and Z = 2; 4 crystallizes in triclinic space group P with a = 9.470(1) A, b = 10.034(1) A, c = 12.064(1) A, alpha = 67.325(2), beta = 75.593(2), gamma = 70.672(2), and Z = 2. The coordination sphere of Cu(I) sites in the complexes shows diverse structures: tetrahedral [CuC(4)] for (1), tetrahedral [CuC(3)N] and triangular [CuC(2)N] for (2), triangular [CuC(2)N] for (3), and triangular [CuC(3)] for 4. In particular, (1) constitutes the first example of a structurally characterized system containing a bridging tetrahedral [Cu(CN)(4)](3)(-) unit. The diverse structural nature of these complexes is governed by the capping amines and the content of water in the reaction media. The magnetic interactions are negligible in these mixed-valence complexes.  相似文献

Two new cyano-bridged one-dimensional heterobimetallic coordination polymers, [(bpca)(2)Fe(III)(2)(CN)(6)Cu(H(2)O)(2).1.5H(2)O](n)() (2) and [(bpca)Fe(III)(CN)(3)Cu(bpca)(H(2)O).H(2)O](n)() (3), and a trinuclear complex, [(bpca)(2)Fe(III)(2)(CN)(6)Mn(CH(3)OH)(2)(H(2)O)(2)].2H(2)O (4), have been synthesized using the tailored tricyanometalate precursor (Bu(4)N)[Fe(bpca)(CN)(3)].H(2)O (1) (Bu(4)N(+) = tetrabutylammonium cation; bpca = bis(2-pyridylcarbonyl)amidate anion) as a building block and structurally characterized. In complex 2, the Cu(II) ions are six-coordinated in an elongated distorted octahedral environment, and they are linked by distorted octahedrons of [Fe(bpca)(CN)(3)](-) to form 1D chain of squares. Complex 3 is an unexpected chiral heterobimetallic helical chain complex, in which the helical chain consists of the asymmetric unit of [(bpca)Fe(CN)(3)Cu(bpca)(H(2)O)]. In complex 4, there are two independent trinuclear clusters in one asymmetric unit, and the coordination modes of the two methanol and two water molecules coordinating to the central Mn(II) ion are different (cis and trans). Complex 2 shows metamagnetic behavior with a Neel temperature of T(N) = 2.2 K and a critical field of 250 Oe at 1.8 K, where the cyanides mediate the intrachain ferromagnetic coupling between the Cu(II) and Fe(III) ions. Complex 3 shows ferromagnetic coupling between Cu(II) and Fe(III) ions, the best-fit for chi(M)T versus T using a 1D alternating chain model leads to the parameters J(1) = 7.9(3) cm(-)(1), J(2) = 1.03(2) cm(-)(1), and g = 2.196(3). Complex 4 exhibits ferrimagnetic behavior caused by the noncompensation of the local interacting spins (S(Mn) = 5/2 and S(Fe) = 1/2) which interact antiferromagnetically through bridging cyano groups.  相似文献

Using the tricyano precursor (Bu(4)N)[(Tp)Cr(CN)(3)] (Bu(4)N(+) = tetrabutylammonium cation; Tp = tris(pyrazolyl)hydroborate), a pentanuclear heterometallic cluster [(Tp)(2)Cr(2)(CN)(6)Cu(3)(Me(3)tacn)(3)][(Tp)Cr(CN)(3)](ClO(4))(3)·5H(2)O (1, Me(3)tacn = N,N',N'-trimethyl-1,4,7-triazacyclononane), three tetranuclear heterometallic clusters [(Tp)(2)Cr(2)(CN)(6)Cu(2)(L(OEt))(2)]·2.5CH(3)CN (2, L(OEt) = [(Cp)Co(P(O)(OEt)(2))(3)], Cp = cyclopentadiene), [(Tp)(2)Cr(2)(CN)(6)Mn(2)(L(OEt))(2)]·4H(2)O (3), and [(Tp)(2)Cr(2)(CN)(6)Mn(2)(phen)(4)](ClO(4))(2) (4, phen = phenanthroline), and a one-dimensional (1D) chain polymer [(Tp)(2)Cr(2)(CN)(6)Mn(bpy)](n) (5, bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine) have been synthesized and structurally characterized. Complex 1 shows a trigonal bipyramidal geometry in which [(Tp)Cr(CN)(3)](-) units occupy the apical positions and are linked through cyanide to [Cu(Me(3)tacn)](2+) units situated in the equatorial plane. Complexes 2-4 show similar square structures, where Cr(III) and M(II) (M = Cu(II) or Mn(II)) ions are alternatively located on the rectangle corners. Complex 5 consists of a 4,2-ribbon-like bimetallic chain. Ferromagnetic interactions between Cr(III) and Cu(II) ions bridged by cyanides are observed in complexes 1 and 2. Antiferromagnetic interactions are presented between Cr(III) and Mn(II) ions bridged by cyanides in complexes 3-5. Complex 5 shows metamagnetic behavior with a critical field of about 22.5 kOe at 1.8 K.  相似文献

This work focuses on the systematic investigation of the influences of pyrimidine-based thioether ligand geometries and counteranions on the overall molecular architectures. A N-containing heterocyclic dithioether ligand 2,6-bis(2-pyrimidinesulfanylmethyl)pyridine (L1) and three structurally related isomeric bis(2-pyrimidinesulfanylmethyl)benzene (L2-L4) ligands have been prepared. On the basis of the self-assembly of CuX (X = I, Br, Cl, SCN, or CN) and the four structurally related flexible dithioether ligands, we have synthesized and characterized 10 new metal-organic entities, Cu4(L1)2I4 1, Cu4(L1)2Br4 2, [Cu2(L2)2I2.CH3CN]n 3, [Cu(L3)I]n 4, [Cu(L3)Br]n 5, [Cu(L3)CN]n 6, [Cu(L4)CN]n 7, [Cu2(L4)I2]n 8, [Cu2(L4)(SCN)2]n 9, and [[Cu6I5(L4)3](BF4).H2O]n 10, by elemental analyses, IR spectroscopy, and X-ray crystallography. Single-crystal X-ray analyses show that the 10 Cu(I) complexes possess an increasing dimensionality from 0D (1 and 2) to 1D (3-5) to 2D (6-9) to 3D (10), which indicates that the ligand geometry takes an essential role in the framework formation of the Cu(I) complexes. The influence of counteranions and pi-pi weak interactions on the formation and dimensionality of these coordination polymers has also been explored. In addition, the photoluminescence properties of Cu(I) coordination polymers 4-10 in the solid state have been studied.  相似文献

Reactions of CuX (X = Br(-), I(-) or CN(-)) with various types of 2,2'-dipyridylamine (dpa) derivatives have been performed via a hydrothermal-solvothermal method and the products have been structurally characterized by X-ray crystallography. Four ligands with different coordination motifs were employed in the reactions, including angular N,N,N',N'-tetra(2-pyridyl)-2,6-pyridinediamine (tppda); linear N,N,N',N'-tetra(2-pyridyl)-1,4-phenylenediamine (tppa) and N,N,N',N'-tetra(2-pyridyl)biphenyl-4,4'-diamine (tpbpa); and star-shaped tris-[4-(2,2'-dipyridylamino)-phenyl]amine (tdpa), which yielded eight copper(I) complexes exhibiting different stoichiometries of Cu-dpa and variable coordination modes of dpa. The compound [Cu(2)(tppda)(μ-I)(2)](n) (1) forms a one dimensional (1D) coordination polymer exclusively through double μ(2)-I bridges, which arranges to two dimensional (2D) metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) via the face-to-face π···π stacking interactions from pyridyl rings. The compound [Cu(6)(tppa)(μ(3)-Br)(6)](n) (2) forms a 2D network linked through multiple μ(3)-Br bridges. The compound [Cu(2)(tppa)(μ-CN)(2)](n) (3) is also a 2D MOF containing 1D (CuCN)(n) chains. The compounds [Cu(tpbpa)Br](n) (4) and [Cu(4)(tpbpa)(2)(μ-I)(4)](n) (5) display two different 1D assemblies: a zig-zag chain for 4 and a linear structure for 5. The compound [Cu(4)(tpbpa)(μ-CN)(4)](n) (6) shows a pseudo-4,8(2) topological net, while the compound [Cu(8)(tpbpa)(μ-CN)(8)](n)·2nH(2)O (7) exhibits a three-dimensional (3D) framework containing a ···PM··· double helical structure, although both of them contain (CuCN)(n) chains. The compound [Cu(2)(tdpa)(μ-I)(2)](n) (8) is a zig-zag chain based on the star-shaped molecule tpda, in which one of three dpa-arms is free of coordination to metal ions. All complexes exhibit luminescence in the solid state.  相似文献

By systematically varying the geometric length and electronic properties of the second ligating ligands of halogen (Cl(-), Br(-), and I(-)) and pseudohalogen (CN(-), SCN(-), and N(3)(-)) anions, we synthesized 11 isomeric/isostructural copper(I) complexes: [Cu(2)(L3-3)I](n) (1), [Cu(2)(L4-4)Br](n) (2-Br), [Cu(2)(L4-4)Cl](n) (2-Cl), [Cu(2)(L3-4)(CN)](n) (3), [Cu(2)(L3-3)(CN)](n) (4), [Cu(3)(L4-4)(CN)(2)](n) (5), {[Cu(2)(L4-4)Br](2)·CuBr}(n) (6-Br), {[Cu(2)(L4-4)Cl](2)·CuCl}(n) (6-Cl), [Cu(2)(L4-4)(SCN)](n) (7α-SCN), [Cu(2)(L4-4)(SCN)](n) (7β-SCN), and [Cu(2)(L4-4)(N(3))](n) (7α-N(3)). These structures are based on a series of isomeric pyridylpyrazole ligands, namely, 3,5-bis(3-pyridyl)-1H-pyrazole (HL3-3), 3-(3-pyridyl)-5-(4-pyridyl)-1H-pyrazole (HL3-4), and 3,5-bis(4-pyridyl)-1H-pyrazole (HL4-4), and their structural features range from 1-D (1), 2-D (2), and 3-D noninterpenetration (3), to 3-D 2-fold interpenetration (4 and 5), to 3-D self-catenation (6 and 7), exhibiting a trend from simple to complex with dimension expansion and an interpenetrating degree increase. The five most complex structures (6 and 7) with self-catenated networks are based on 2-fold interpenetrated networks linked via appropriate second ligating spacers (Cl(-), Br(-), SCN(-), and N(3)(-)), representing a strategy to construct self-catenated coordination polymers through cross-linking interpenetrated frameworks. Moreover, these complexes exhibit strong photoluminescence, which is mainly ascribed to Cu(I)-related charge transfers (MLCT, MC, and MMLCT) regulated by the electronic properties of halogen or pseudohalogen. The topological evolution and luminescence variation presented in this work open an avenue to understanding the luminescence origin and the structure-property relationship of luminescent coordination polymers.  相似文献

The copper template effect allows the preparation of tridentate ligands that chelate copper ions, leaving unoccupied the fourth basal coordination position and at least one axial position of the copper coordination polyhedron. Two such cationic complexes, [LCu](+) and [L(1)Cu](+) (L(-) = 2-{(E)-[(2-aminoethyl)imino]methyl}phenoxo] and L(1-) = 2-{(E)-[(2-aminopropyl)imino]methyl}phenoxo), react with diamagnetic polycyanometalate tectons such as Ni(CN)(4)(2-) or Ag(CN)(2)(-) to yield different neutral 1D complexes. In {[(LCu)(2)Ni(CN)(4)]}(n) (1) the four cyano nitrogen atoms are involved in coordination with copper ions in such a manner that each copper atom is pentacoordinated and linked to two cyano functions that occupy axial and equatorial coordination positions. Two L(1)Cu(+) cationic entities are linked, through their equatorial plane, to two trans cyano groups of the Ni(CN)(4)(2-) tecton in complex [(L(1)Cu)(2)Ni(CN)(4)] (2), the two uncoordinated cyano groups being involved in hydrogen bonds. 2 is a racemate, a S stereoisomer being associated with a R one in each [(L(1)Cu)(2)Ni(CN)(4)] unit. Zigzag Cu-Ag chains are present in [(LCu)Ag(CN)(2)] (3), where the copper centers are pentacoordinated and connected to the cyano groups in an alternate axial-equatorial coordination scheme. A bidimensional structure is developed by interchain argentophilic interactions. In complex 4, {(L(1)CuMeOH)(L(1)Cu)[Ag(CN)(2)](2)}, two L(1)Cu units are connected by a NC-Ag-CN bridge in an equatorial position. These resulting units exhibit argentophilic interactions with [Ag(CN(2))](-) entities that are monocoordinated in the equatorial position to the next unit, ultimately leading to a chain. Weak Cu-Cu magnetic interactions are detected in the four compounds, antiferromagnetic in the case of equatorial-equatorial copper interactions, ferromagnetic for orthogonal interacting copper orbitals (axial-equatorial interactions), while axial-axial bridges are characterized by an absence of interaction. The presence of weak ferromagnetic interactions through large NC-Ni-CN or NC-Ag-CN bridges (Cu···Cu distances larger than 10 ?) furnishes experimental evidence for the existence of next-nearest-neighbor interactions through diamagnetic centers. DFT calculations do confirm the existence of these magnetic transmission pathways through the diamagnetic metal bridge.  相似文献

A family of cyano-bridged copper(II)-copper(I) mixed-valence polymers containing diamine ligands of formula [Cu(pn)(2)][Cu(2)(CN)(4)] (1, pn = 1,2-propanediamine), [Cu(2)(CN)(3)(dmen)] (2, dmen = N,N-dimethylethylenediamine), and [Cu(3)(CN)(4)(tmen)] (3, tmen = N,N,N',N'-tetramethylethylenediamine) have been prepared with the aim of analyzing how their architecture may be affected by steric constraints imposed by the diamine ligands. In the absence of diamine and with use of the voluminous NEt(4)(+) cation, the copper(I) polymer [NEt(4)][Cu(2)(CN)(3)] (4) forms. The structure of 1 consists of a three-dimensional diamond-related anionic framework host, [Cu(2)(CN)(4)](2-), and enclathrated [Cu(pn)(2)](2+) cations. The structure of 2 is made of neutral corrugated sheets constructed from fused 18-member nonplanar rings, which contain three equivalent copper(I) and three equivalent copper(II) centers bridged by cyanide groups in an alternative form. The 3D structure of 3 consists of interconnected stair-like double chains built from fused 18-member rings, which adopt a chairlike conformation. Each ring is constructed from two distorted trigonal planar Cu(I) centers, two bent seemingly two-coordinated Cu(I) centers, and two pentacoordinated Cu(II) atoms. The structure 4 is made of planar anionic layers [Cu(2)(CN)(3)](n)(n-) lying on mirror planes and NEt(4)(+) cations intercalated between the anionic layers. From the X-ray structural results and calculations based upon DFT theory some conclusions are drawn on the structure-steric factors correlation in these compounds. Compound 1 exhibits very weak luminescence at 77 K with a maximum in the emission spectrum at 520 nm, whereas compound 4 shows an intense luminescence at room temperature with a maximum in the emission spectrum at 371 nm. Polymers 2 and 3 exhibit weak antiferromagnetic magnetic exchange interactions with J = -0.065(3) and -2.739(5) cm(-1), respectively. This behavior have been justified on the basis of the sum of two contributions: one arising from the pure ground-state configuration and the other one from the charge-transfer configuration Cu(I)-CN-Cu(II)-CN-Cu(II) that mixes with the ground-state configuration.  相似文献

A series of copper(II) complexes with substituted phenanthroline ligands has been synthesized and characterized electronically and structurally. The compounds that have been prepared include the monosubstituted ligand complexes of the general formula [Cu(5-R-phen)(2)(CH(3)CN)](BF(4))(2), where R = NO(2), Cl, H, or Me, and the disubstituted ligand complex [Cu(5,6-Me(2)-phen)(2)(CH(3)CN)](BF(4))(2). The complexes [Cu(5-NO(2)-phen)(2)(CH(3)CN](BF(4))(2) (1), [Cu(5-Cl-phen)(2)(CH(3)CN)](BF(4))(2) (2), [Cu(o-phen)(2)(CH(3)CN)](BF(4))(2) (3), and [Cu(5-Me-phen)(2)(CH(3)CN)](BF(4))(2) (4) each crystallize in the space group C2/c with compounds 1, 2, and 4 comprising an isomorphous set. The disubstituted complex [Cu(5,6-Me(2)-phen)(2)(CH(3)CN)](BF(4))(2) (5) crystallizes in the space group P2(1)/c. Each structure is characterized by a distorted trigonal bipyramidal arrangement of ligands around the central copper atom with approximate or exact C(2) symmetry. The progression from electron-withdrawing to electron-donating substituents on the phenanthroline ligands correlates with less accessible reduction potentials for the bis-chelate complexes.  相似文献

The synthesis and structural analysis (single crystal X-ray data) of two mononuclear ([Cu(L(1))(CN)]BF(4) and [Cu(L(3))(CN)](BF(4))) and three related, cyanide-bridged homodinuclear complexes ([{Cu(L(1))}(2)(CN)](BF(4))(3)·1.35 H(2)O, [{Cu(L(2))}(2)(CN)](BF(4))(3) and [{Ni(L(3))}(2)(CN)](BF(4))(3)) with a tetradentate (L(1)) and two isomeric pentadentate bispidine ligands (L(2), L(3); bispidines are 3,7-diazabicyclo[3.3.1]nonane derivatives) are reported, together with experimental magnetic, electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR), and electronic spectroscopic data and a ligand-field-theory-based analysis. The temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibilities and EPR transitions of the dicopper(II) complexes, together with the simulation of the EPR spectra of the mono- and dinuclear complexes leads to an anisotropic set of g- and A-values, zero-field splitting (ZFS) and magnetic exchange parameters (Cu1: g(z) = 2.055, g(x) = 2.096, g(y) = 2.260, A(z) = 8, A(x) = 8, A(y) = 195 × 10(-4) cm(-1), Cu2: g and A as for Cu(1) but rotated by the Euler angles α = -6°, β = 100°, D(exc) = -0.07 cm(-1), E(exc)/D(exc) = 0.205 for [{Cu(L(1))}(2)(CN)](BF(4))(3)·1.35 H(2)O; Cu1,2: g(z) = 2.025, g(x) = 2.096, g(y) = 2.240, A(z) = 8, A(x) = 8, A(y) = 190 × 10(-4)cm(-1), D(exc) = -0.159 cm(-1), E(exc)/D(exc) = 0.080 for [{Cu(L(2))}(2)(CN)](BF(4))(3)). Thorough ligand-field-theory-based analyses, involving all micro states and all relevant interactions (Jahn-Teller and spin-orbit coupling) and DFT calculations of the magnetic exchange leads to good agreement between the experimental observations and theoretical predictions. The direction of the symmetric magnetic anisotropy tensor D(exc) in [{Cu(L(2))}(2)(CN)](BF(4))(3) is close to the Cu···Cu vector (22°), that is, nearly perpendicular to the Jahn-Teller axis of each of the two Cu(II) centers, and this reflects the crystallographically observed geometry. Antisymmetric exchange in [{Cu(L(1))}(2)(CN)](BF(4))(3)·1.35 H(2)O causes a mixing between the singlet ground state and the triplet excited state, and this also reflects the observed geometry with a rotation of the two Cu(II) sites around the Cu···Cu axis.  相似文献

New metal-containing ionic liquids [Cu(CH(3)CN)(n)][Tf(2)N] (n=2, 4; Tf(2)N=bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)- amide) have been synthesised and used as a non-aqueous electrolyte for the electrodeposition of copper at current densities greater than 25 A dm(-2). The tetrahedral copper(I)-containing cation in [Cu(CH(3)CN)(4)][Tf(2)N] is structurally analogous to quaternary ammonium and phosphonium ionic liquids and overcomes problems of metal solubility and mass transport. Two CH(3)CN ligands are removed at elevated temperatures to give [Cu(CH(3)CN)(2)][Tf(2)N], which can be used as a concentrated non-aqueous electrolyte. The structural and electrochemical characterisation of these compounds is described herein.  相似文献

A series of new heterometallic coordination polymers has been prepared from the reaction of metal-ligand cations and KAg(CN)(2) units. Many of these contain silver-silver (argentophilic) interactions, analogous to gold-gold interactions, which serve to increase supramolecular structural dimensionality. Compared to [Au(CN)(2)](-) analogues, these polymers display new trends specific to [Ag(CN)(2)](-), including the formation of [Ag(2)(CN)(3)](-) and the presence of Ag...N interactions. [Cu(en)(2)][Ag(2)(CN)(3)][Ag(CN)(2)] (1, en = ethylenediamine) forms 1-D chains of alternating [Ag(CN)(2)](-) and [Ag(2)(CN)(3)](-) units via argentophilic interactions of 3.102(1) A. These chains are connected into a 2-D array by strong cyano(N)-Ag interactions of 2.572(3) A. [Cu(dien)Ag(CN)(2)](2)[Ag(2)(CN)(3)][Ag(CN)(2)] (2, dien = diethylenetriamine) forms a 1-D chain of alternating [Cu(dien)](2+) and [Ag(CN)(2)](-) ions with the Cu(II) atoms connected in an apical/equatorial fashion. These chains are cross-linked by [Ag(2)(CN)(3)](-) units via argentophilic interactions of 3.1718(8) A and held weakly in a 3-D array by argentophilic interactions of 3.2889(5) A between the [Ag(CN)(2)](-) in the 2-D array and the remaining free [Ag(CN)(2)](-). [Ni(en)][Ni(CN)(4)].2.5H(2)O (4) was identified as a byproduct in the reaction to prepare the previously reported [Ni(en)(2)Ag(2)(CN)(3)][Ag(CN)(2)] (3). In [Ni(tren)Ag(CN)(2)][Ag(CN)(2)] (5, tren = tris(2-aminoethyl)amine), [Ni(tren)](2+) cations are linked in a cis fashion by [Ag(CN)(2)](-) anions to form a 1-D chain similar to the [Au(CN)(2)](-) analogue. [Cu(en)Cu(CN)(2)Ag(CN)(2)] (6) is a trimetallic polymer consisting of interpenetrating (6,3) nets stabilized by d(10)-d(10) interactions between Cu(I)-Ag(I) (3.1000(4) A). Weak antiferromagnetic coupling has been observed in 2, and a slightly stronger exchange has been observed in 6. The Ni(II) complexes, 4 and 5, display weak antiferromagnetic interactions as indicated by their relatively larger D values compared to that of 3. Magnetic measurements on isostructural [Ni(tren)M(CN)(2)][M(CN)(2)] (M = Ag, Au) show that Ag(I) is a more efficient mediator of magnetic exchange as compared to Au(I). The formation of [Ni(CN)(4)](2)(-), [Ag(2)(CN)(3)](-), and [Cu(CN)(2)](-) are all attributed to secondary reactions of the dissociation products of the labile KAg(CN)(2).  相似文献

A nonporous neutral framework [CuCl(2)(m-bttmb)(2)](n) (1) was changed into a porous ionic {[Cu(m-bttmb)(2)(H(2)O)Cl]Cl(CH(3)CN)(0.5)(H(2)O)(2.75)}(n) (2) by simply increasing the amount of CH(3)CN in the mixed solvent (CH(3)CN and H(2)O) or temperature in the reactions of CuCl(2)·2H(2)O with 1,3-bis(triazol-1-ylmethyl)-2,4,6-trimethylbenzene (m-bttmb). 1 undergoes transformation into 2 when treated with CH(3)CN. Both 1 and 2 have 2D 4-connected (4,4) network architectures but in different packing arrangements. These compounds have been characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, elemental analysis, IR spectra and thermogravimetric analysis. This work may provide a way to control the formation of neutral or ionic frameworks, as well as porosities by adjusting the polarity and components of the solvents.  相似文献

The new three-dimensional (3D) heterometallic Cu(II)/Fe(II) coordination polymers [Cu(6)(H(2)tea)(6)Fe(CN)(6)](n)(NO(3))(2n)·6nH(2)O (1) and [Cu(6)(Hmdea)(6)Fe(CN)(6)](n)(NO(3))(2n)·7nH(2)O (2) have been easily generated by aqueous-medium self-assembly reactions of copper(II) nitrate with triethanolamine or N-methyldiethanolamine (H(3)tea or H(2)mdea, respectively), in the presence of potassium ferricyanide and sodium hydroxide. They have been isolated as air-stable crystalline solids and fully characterized including by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses. The latter reveal the formation of 3D metal-organic frameworks that are constructed from the [Cu(2)(μ-H(2)tea)(2)](2+) or [Cu(2)(μ-Hmdea)(2)](2+) nodes and the octahedral [Fe(CN)(6)](4-) linkers, featuring regular (1) or distorted (2) octahedral net skeletons. Upon dehydration, both compounds show reversible escape and binding processes toward water or methanol molecules. Magnetic susceptibility measurements of 1 and 2 reveal strong antiferromagnetic [J = -199(1) cm(-1)] or strong ferromagnetic [J = +153(1) cm(-1)] couplings between the copper(II) ions through the μ-O-alkoxo atoms in 1 or 2, respectively. The differences in magnetic behavior are explained in terms of the dependence of the magnetic coupling constant on the Cu-O-Cu bridging angle. Compounds 1 and 2 also act as efficient catalyst precursors for the mild oxidation of cyclohexane by aqueous hydrogen peroxide to cyclohexanol and cyclohexanone (homogeneous catalytic system), leading to maximum total yields (based on cyclohexane) and turnover numbers (TONs) up to about 22% and 470, respectively.  相似文献

The cocrystallization of [Cu(SCN)]n chains and [Cu2(4,4'-bpy)(CN)2]n (4,4'-bpy = 4,4'-bipyridine) layers generated a 3-D pseudopolyrotaxane compound, [Cu2(4,4'-bpy)(CN)2].[Cu(SCN)] (1), which can also be viewed as a 3-D network constructed by linkages of 2-D sheets and 1-D chains via unsupported CuI-CuI interactions. The CuI-CuI contact of 2.651(4) A in 1 is the shortest unsupported CuI-CuI distance documented to date, indicating cuprophilic attractions.  相似文献
