The paper aims to obtain existence and uniqueness of the solution as well as asymptotic estimate of the solution for singularly perturbed nonlinear third- order Robin boundary value problem with a turning point.In order to achieve this aim,existence and uniqueness of the solution for third-order nonlinear Robin boundary value problem is derived first based on the upper and lower solutions method under relatively weaker conditions.In this manner,the goal of this paper is gained by applying the existence and uniqueness results mentioned above.  相似文献

In this paper, the singular perturbation of boundary value problem to a class of third-order nonlinear vector integro-differential equation is studied. Using the method of differential inequalities, under certain conditions, the existence of perturbed solution is proved, the uniformly valid asymptotic expansion for arbitrary order and the estimation of remainder term are given. Finally, the results are applied to study singularly perturbed boundary value problem to a nonlinear vector fourth-order differential equation. The existence of solution and its asymptotic estimation can be obtained conveniently.  相似文献

In this paper, we study a linear and a nonlinear boundary control problems arising from viscous flows. The equations are of nonlinear Navier-Stokes type for the velocity and pressure, of transport-diffusion type for the temperature and the salinity. The essential difficulties are due to the nonlinear nature of a part of the boundary conditions and to the nature of the equations: time-dependent, coupled and nonlinear. The existence and the conditions of the uniqueness of the solution, for the variational problem, are studied. The control is of linear or nonlinear Robin-type and acts on a part of the boundary during a time T. The cost function measures the distance between the observed and the computed vorticity. The existence of an optimal control in the admissible set of states and controls is proved. A first order necessary conditions of optimality are obtained.  相似文献

We consider the initial and nonlinear oblique derivative bouodary value problem for fully nonlinear uniformly parabolic partial differential equations of second order. The parabolic operators satisfy natural structure conditions which have been introduced by Krylov. The nonlinear boundary operalors satisfy certain natural structure conditions also. The existence and uniqueness of classical solution are proved when the initial boundary values and the coefficients of the equation are suitable smooth.  相似文献

Sufficient conditions are given for the existence of solutions to third order boundary value problems for nonlinear differential systems. Some appropriate conditions are given to guarantee that the Nagumo condition is satisfied. By constructing appropriate a lower solution-upper solution pair, a concept that is defined in this paper, the uniqueness result of the problem is also established. The emphasis here is that the differential systems has nonlinear dependence on all over order derivatives and the boundary conditions are nonlinear.  相似文献

The goal of this work is to study a model of the wave equation with semilinear porous acoustic boundary conditions with nonlinear boundary/interior sources and a nonlinear boundary/interior damping. First, applying the nonlinear semigroup theory, we show the existence and uniqueness of local in time solutions. The main difficulty in proving the local existence result is that the Neumann boundary conditions experience loss of regularity due to boundary sources. Using an approximation method involving truncated sources and adapting the ideas in Lasiecka and Tataru (1993) [28], we show that the existence of solutions can still be obtained. Second, we prove that under some restrictions on the source terms, then the local solution can be extended to be global in time. In addition, it has been shown that the decay rates of the solution are given implicitly as solutions to a first order ODE and depends on the behavior of the damping terms. In several situations, the obtained ODE can be easily solved and the decay rates can be given explicitly. Third, we show that under some restrictions on the initial data and if the interior source dominates the interior damping term and if the boundary source dominates the boundary damping, then the solution ceases to exists and blows up in finite time. Moreover, in either the absence of the interior source or the boundary source, then we prove that the solution is unbounded and grows as an exponential function.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with periodic boundary value problems for a fourth order nonlinear difference equation. Via variational methods and critical point theory, sufficient conditions are given for the existence of at least one solution, two solutions, and nonexistence of solutions. Assuming suitable Nagumo type conditions we prove the existence of at least one solution applying the method of upper and lower solutions. In the present work, we investigate nonlinear three-point boundary value problems (second-order differential equations with boundary conditions imposed at three consecutive points) in an effort to understand the conditions that must be imposed upon nonlinear perturbations of a linear problem in order to obtain a solution of a three-point problem. Both the noncritical case and the critical case are considered. In the first case, existence and uniqueness results are obtained, and in the second case we deal with local bifurcation problems when the nonlinearities are quadratic and cubic.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the existence of positive solutions for a class of higher-order nonlinear fractional differential equations with integral boundary conditions and a parameter. By using the properties of the Green’s function, u 0-positive function and the fixed point index theory, we obtain some existence results of positive solution under some conditions concerning the first eigenvalue with respect to the relevant linear operator. The method of this paper is a unified method for establishing the existence of multiple positive solutions for a large number of nonlinear differential equations of arbitrary order with any allowed number of non-local boundary conditions.  相似文献

This work is devoted to proving the existence of the iterative solution to a fourth order boundary value problem. By the use of a novel efficient method for nonlinear fourth order boundary value problem, the existence and uniqueness of solution for the problem is obtained.
