非线性振动系统的异宿轨道分叉,次谐分叉和混沌   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
在参数激励与强迫激励联合作用下具有van der Pol阻尼的非线性振动系统,其动态行为是非常复杂的.本文利用Melnikov方法研究了这类系统的异宿轨道分叉、次谐分叉和混沌.对于各种不同的共振情况,系统将经过无限次奇阶次谐分叉产生Smale马蹄而进入混沌状态.最后我们利用数值计算方法研究了这类系统的混沌运动.所得结果揭示了一些新的现象.  相似文献

A twisted heteroclinic cycle was proved to exist more than twenty- five years ago for the reaction-diffusion FitzHugh-Nagumo equations in their traveling wave moving frame. The result implies the existence of infinitely many traveling front waves and infinitely many traveling back waves for the system. However efforts to numerically render the twisted cycle were not fruit- ful for the main reason that such orbits are structurally unstable. Presented here is a bisectional search method for the primary types of traveling wave solu- tions for the type of bistable reaction-diffusion systems the FitzHugh-Nagumo equations represent. The algorithm converges at a geometric rate and the wave speed can be approximated to significant precision in principle. The method is then applied for a recently obtained axon model with the conclusion that twisted heteroclinic cycle maybe more of a theoretical artifact.  相似文献

Ordinary differential equations are considered which contain a singular perturbation. It is assumed that when the perturbation parameter is zero, the equation has a hyperbolic equilibrium and homoclinic solution. No restriction is placed on the dimension of the phase space or on the dimension of intersection of the stable and unstable manifolds. A bifurcation function is established which determines nonzero values of the perturbation parameter for which the homoclinic solution persists. It is further shown that when the vector field is periodic and a transversality condition is satisfied, the homoclinic solution to the perturbed equation produces a transverse homoclinic orbit in the period map. The techniques used are those of exponential dichotomies, Lyapunov-Schmidt reduction and scales of Banach spaces. A much simplified version of this latter theory is developed suitable for the present case. This work generalizes some recent results of Battelli and Palmer.

The Duffing equation with even-odd asymmetrical nonlinear-restoring force and one external forcingis investigated.The conditions of existence of primary resonance,second-order,third-order subharmonics,m-order subharmonics and chaos are given by using the second-averaging method,the Melnikov method andbifurcation theory.Numerical simulations including bifurcation diagram,bifurcation surfaces and phase portraitsshow the consistence with the theoretical analysis.The numerical results also exhibit new dynamical behaviorsincluding onset of chaos,chaos suddenly disappearing to periodic orbit,cascades of inverse period-doublingbifurcations,period-doubling bifurcation,symmetry period-doubling bifurcations of period-3 orbit,symmetry-breaking of periodic orbits,interleaving occurrence of chaotic behaviors and period-one orbit,a great abundanceof periodic windows in transient chaotic regions with interior crises and boundary crisis and varied chaoticattractors.Our results show that many dynamical behaviors are strictly departure from the behaviors of theDuffing equation with odd-nonlinear restoring force.  相似文献

Duffing equation with fifth nonlinear-restoring force, one external forcing and a phase shift is investigated, The conditions of existences for primary resonance, second-order, third-order subharmonics, morder subharmonics and chaos are given by using second-averaging method, Melnikov methods and bifurcation theory. In this paper, we show that for a large class of singularly perturbed problems, the classical Chapman-Enskog asymptotic procedure leads, in a shorter way, to the same asymptotic expansion as the renormalization group (RG) approach. By combining geometric singular perturbation theory (GSPT) with qualitative method, this paper analyzes the phenomenon of successive canard explosions in a singularly perturbed Spruce-Budworm model with Holling-II functional response. We select suitable parameters such that the critical curve is $S$-shaped, and the full model only admits a unique equilibrium. Then, under the variation of the breaking parameter, it is found that a canard explosion followed by an inverse canard explosion successively occurs in this model. That is, a relaxation oscillation arises via the first canard explosion, which persists for a large interval of parameter until it vanishes via the so-called inverse canard explosion. All these theoretical predictions are verified by numerical simulations.  相似文献

In this paper, a fitted Numerov method is constructed for a class of singularly perturbed one-dimensional parabolic partial differential equations with a small negative shift in the temporal variable. Similar boundary value problems are associated with a furnace used to process a metal sheet in control theory. Here, the study focuses on the effect of shift on the boundary layer behavior of the solution via finite difference approach. When the shift parameter is smaller than the perturbation parameter, the shifted term is expanded in Taylor series and an exponentially fitted tridiagonal finite difference scheme is developed. The proposed finite difference scheme is unconditionally stable. When the shift parameter is larger than the perturbation parameter, a special type of mesh is used for the temporal variable so that the shift lies on the nodal points and an exponentially fitted scheme is developed. This scheme is also unconditionally stable. The applicability of the proposed methods is demonstrated by means of two examples.  相似文献

In this paper,we investigate the number,location and stability of limit cycles in a class of perturbedpolynomial systems with (2n 1) or (2n 2)-degree by constructing detection function and using qualitativeanalysis.We show that there are at most n limit cycles in the perturbed polynomial system,which is similar tothe result of Perko in [8] by using Melnikov method.For n=2,we establish the general conditions dependingon polynomial's coefficients for the bifurcation,location and stability of limit cycles.The bifurcation parametervalue of limit cycles in [5] is also improved by us.When n=3 the sufficient and necessary conditions for theappearance of 3 limit cycles are given.Two numerical examples for the location and stability of limit cycles areused to demonstrate our theoretical results.  相似文献

Summary This paper presents a proof that given a dilute concentration of aerosol particles in an infinite, periodic, cellular flow field, arbitrarily small inertial effects are sufficient to induce almost all particles to settle. It is shown that when inertia is taken as a small parameter, the equations of particle motion admit a slow manifold that is globally attracting. The proof proceeds by analyzing the motion on this slow manifold, wherein the flow is a small perturbation of the equation governing the motion of fluid particles. The perturbation is supplied by the inertia, which here occurs as a regular parameter. Further, it is shown that settling particles approach a finite number of attracting periodic paths. The structure of the set of attracting paths, including the nature of possible bifurcations of these paths and the resulting stability changes, is examined via a symmetric one-dimensional map derived from the flow.  相似文献

In the nondelay case we shall show that (*) has a unique positive periodic solution $ \overline {x}(t), $ and provide sufficient conditions for the global attractivity of $ \overline {x}(t) $ . The dynamical behavior of multi-spot solutions in a two-dimensional domain Ω is analyzed for the two-component Schnakenburg reaction–diffusion model in the singularly perturbed limit of small diffusivity ε for one of the two components. In the limit ε→0, a quasi-equilibrium spot pattern in the region away from the spots is constructed by representing each localized spot as a logarithmic singularity of unknown strength S j for j=1,…,K at unknown spot locations x j ∈Ω for j=1,…,K. A formal asymptotic analysis, which has the effect of summing infinite logarithmic series in powers of −1/log ε, is then used to derive an ODE differential algebraic system (DAE) for the collective coordinates S j and x j for j=1,…,K, which characterizes the slow dynamics of a spot pattern. This DAE system involves the Neumann Green’s function for the Laplacian. By numerically examining the stability thresholds for a single spot solution, a specific criterion in terms of the source strengths S j , for j=1,…,K, is then formulated to theoretically predict the initiation of a spot-splitting event. The analytical theory is illustrated for spot patterns in the unit disk and the unit square, and is compared with full numerical results computed directly from the Schnakenburg model.   相似文献

Ergodic control of singularly perturbed Markov chains with general state and compact action spaces is considered. A new method is given for characterization of the limit of invariant measures, for perturbed chains, when the perturbation parameter goes to zero. It is also demonstrated that the limit control principle is satisfied under natural ergodicity assumptions about controlled Markov chains. These assumptions allow for the presence of transient states, a situation that has not been considered in the literature before in the context of control of singularly perturbed Markov processes with long-run-average cost functionals. 在对中国中小企业特点的分析基础上,建立起三层次的行业内中小企业信用评估指标体系。并将其中的财务状况指标体系单独列出,通过对20家安徽省农资中小企业的调查,以此行业为例,利用主成分分析法筛选变量.简化原指标系统,进一步利用Logistic函数对财务状况指标计算公式进行了修正.然后通过层次分析法对各层指标权重进行计算,建立起行业内中小企业信用评估模型.同时根据商业银行的放贷目的,对模型进行了进一步讨论,在确定银行贷款临界概率的基础上,利用中小企业信用评估模型建立起银行贷款决策模型,并代入2005年度上半年合肥丰乐种业股份有限公司的数据进行了实证分析.  相似文献
