The X-ray crystal structure of 1-(4-fluorophenyl)-and 1-(4-dimethylaminophenyl)germatranes reveals that the germanium atom
is pentacoordinated and adopts a trigonal bipyramidal geometry. The fluorophenyl and dimethylaminophenyl groups and the nitrogen
atom each occupy an apical position with the transannular N→Ge bond of 2.192(3) and 2.249(3) Å; the deviation of the Ge atom
from the O(2)-O(8)-O(9) plane is 0.2306(4) and 0.2693(3) Å, correspondingly.

Semicarbazones can exist in two tautomeric forms. In the solid state, they are found in the keto form. This work presents the synthesis, structures and spectroscopic characterization (IR and NMR spectroscopy) of four such compounds, namely the neutral molecule 4‐phenyl‐1‐[phenyl(pyridin‐2‐yl)methylidene]semicarbazide, C19H16N4O, (I), abbreviated as HBzPyS, and three different hydrated salts, namely the chloride dihydrate, C19H17N4O+·Cl?·2H2O, (II), the nitrate dihydrate, C19H17N4O+·NO3?·2H2O, (III), and the thiocyanate 2.5‐hydrate, C19H17N4O+·SCN?·2.5H2O, (IV), of 2‐[phenyl({[(phenylcarbamoyl)amino]imino})methyl]pyridinium, abbreviated as [H2BzPyS]+·X?·nH2O, with X = Cl? and n = 2 for (II), X = NO3? and n = 2 for (III), and X = SCN? and n = 2.5 for (IV), showing the influence of the anionic form in the intermolecular interactions. Water molecules and counter‐ions (chloride or nitrate) are involved in the formation of a two‐dimensional arrangement by the establishment of hydrogen bonds with the N—H groups of the cation, stabilizing the E isomers in the solid state. The neutral HBzPyS molecule crystallized as the E isomer due to the existence of weak π–π interactions between pairs of molecules. The calculated IR spectrum of the hydrated [H2BzPyS]+ cation is in good agreement with the experimental results. 相似文献

The Z and E isomers of 3‐[4‐(dimethylamino)phenyl]‐2‐(2,4,6‐tribromophenyl)acrylonitrile, C17H13Br3N2, ( 1 ), were obtained simultaneously by a Knoevenagel condensation between 4‐(dimethylamino)benzaldehyde and 2‐(2,4,6‐tribromophenyl)acetonitrile, and were investigated by X‐ray diffraction and density functional theory (DFT) quantum‐chemical calculations. The (Z)‐( 1 ) isomer is monoclinic (space group P21/n, Z′ = 1), whereas the (E)‐( 1 ) isomer is triclinic (space group P, Z′ = 2). The two crystallographically‐independent molecules of (E)‐( 1 ) adopt similar geometries. The corresponding bond lengths and angles in the two isomers of ( 1 ) are very similar. The difference in the calculated total energies of isolated molecules of (Z)‐( 1 ) and (E)‐( 1 ) with DFT‐optimized geometries is ∼4.47 kJ mol−1, with the minimum value corresponding to the Z isomer. The crystal structure of (Z)‐( 1 ) reveals strong intermolecular nonvalent Br…N [3.100 (2) and 3.216 (3) Å] interactions which link the molecules into layers parallel to (10). In contrast, molecules of (E)‐( 1 ) in the crystal are bound to each other by strong nonvalent Br…Br [3.5556 (10) Å] and weak Br…N [3.433 (4) Å] interactions, forming chains propagating along [110]. The crystal packing of (Z)‐( 1 ) is denser than that of (E)‐( 1 ), implying that the crystal structure realized for (Z)‐( 1 ) is more stable than that for (E)‐( 1 ). 相似文献

The novel tetraphenylethylene derivative 4‐methyl‐N‐[3‐(1,2,2‐triphenylethenyl)phenyl]benzenesulfonamide (abbreviated as MTBF), C33H27NO2S, was synthesized successfully and characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction, high‐resolution mass spectroscopy and 1H NMR spectroscopy. MTBF crystallizes in the centrosymmetric monoclinic space group P21/c. In the crystal structure, the MTBF molecules are connected into a one‐dimensional band and then a two‐dimensional sheet by hydrogen bonds of the N—H…O and C—H…O types. The sheets are further linked to produce a three‐dimensional network via C—H…π interactions. The molecules aggregate via these intermolecular forces, which restrain the intramolecular motions (RIM) and decrease the energy loss in the aggregation state, so as to open the radiative channels, and thus MTBF exhibits excellent fluorescence by aggregation‐induced emission (AIE) enhancement. 相似文献

Orange rectangular blocks suitable for X‐ray diffraction analysis were obtained for the previously reported [Ahmad & Bano (2011). Int. J. ChemTech Res. 3 , 1470–1478] title chalcone, C15H14ClNOS. This solid‐emissive chalcone exhibits a planar structure and the bond parameters are compared with related compounds already described in the literature. The determination of the structure of this chalcone is quite relevant because it will play an important role in theoretical calculations to investigate potential two‐photon absorption processes and could also be useful for studying the interaction of such compounds with a biological target. 相似文献

The polymeric chains of [Sn(CH3)3(C28H25O3Ge)]n contain trimethyltin moieties bridging two neighboring 3‐(triphenylgermyl)‐3‐o‐methoxypropionate ligands via carboxyl groups. The germanium atom has a distorted tetrahedral geometry and the tin atom has a distorted trigonal‐bipyramidal geometry, the latter with three methyl groups in the equatorial plane and oxygen atoms defining the axial positions. The title compound, C17H11F5N4O, is described and compared with two closely related analogues in the literature. There are two independent molecules in the asymmetric unit, linked by N—H...O hydrogen bonds and π–π interactions into dimeric entities, presenting a noticeable noncrystallographic C2 symmetry. These dimers are in turn linked by a medium‐strength type‐I C—F...F—C interaction into elongated tetramers.
