Four Schiff base complexes, [Zn2L2(NCS)2] ( 1 ), [Cd2L2(NCS)2]n ( 2 ), [Zn4L2(N3)2Cl4(OH2)(CH3OH)] ( 3 ), and [Cu4L2(N3)2Cl4(OH2)(CH3OH)] ( 4 ) (where L = 2‐[(2‐dimethylaminoethylimino)methyl]phenol), were synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, infrared spectroscopy, and single crystal X‐ray determinations. Both 1 and 2 are structurally similar polynuclear complexes. In 1 , each Zn atom has a slightly distorted square‐pyramidal coordination configuration. In the basal plane, the Zn atom is coordinated by one O and two N atoms of one L, and by one O atom of another L. The apical position is occupied by one terminal N atom of a coordinated thiocyanate anion. The Zn···Zn separation is 3.179(3) Å. While in 2 , the Cd1 atom is six‐coordinated in an octahedral coordination. In the equatorial plane, the Cd1 atom is coordinated by one O and two N atoms of one L, and by one O atom of another L. The axial positions are occupied by the terminal N and S atoms from two bridging thiocyanate anions. The coordination of Cd2 atom in 2 is similar to those of the zinc atoms in 1 . The Cd···Cd separation is 3.425(2) Å. Both 3 and 4 are novel tetra‐nuclear complexes. Each metal atom in the complexes has a slightly distorted square‐pyramidal coordination. The arrangements of the terminal metal atoms are similar, involving one O and two N atoms of one L ligand and one bridging Cl atom defining the basal plane, and one O atom of a coordinated water molecule or MeOH molecule occupying the apical position. The coordinations of the central metal atoms are also similar. The basal plane of each metal atom involves one O atom of one L ligand, one terminal Cl atom, and two terminal N atoms from two bridging azide groups. The apical position is occupied by a bridging Cl atom which also acts as a basal donor atom of the terminal metal atom. The Schiff base ligand and the four complexes showed high selectivity and antibacterial activities against most of the bacteria.  相似文献

The title complex, [Cu(C13H9Cl2N2O)(NCS)]n, is a novel thiocyanate‐bridged polynuclear copper(II) compound. The CuII atom is five‐coordinated in a square‐pyramidal configuration, with one O and two N atoms of one Schiff base ligand and one terminal N atom of a bridging thiocyanate ligand defining the basal plane, and one terminal S atom of another bridging thiocyanate ligand occupying the axial position. The [2,4‐dichloro‐6‐(pyridin‐2‐ylmethyliminomethyl)phenolato]copper(II) moieties are linked by the bridging thiocyanate ligands, forming polymeric chains running along the a axis.  相似文献

In the title compound, {[UO2(C7H6NO2)(OH)]}n, the U atom is in a seven‐coordinated pentagonal–bipyramidal environment. Each uranyl ion is bound to the N and one of the O atoms of a 2‐pyridylacetate ligand, to one O atom from a second ligand and to two bridging hydroxide groups, all located in the equatorial plane. Hydroxide bridging gives uranyl dimers, which are assembled into planar and rectilinear ribbons by carboxylate bridges. 12‐Membered rings are defined by proximal dimers in the ribbons, with two intra‐ring hydrogen bonds involving the hydroxide groups and two carboxylate O atoms.  相似文献

The two title complexes, [Zn2(C13H9Cl2N2O)2(C2H3O2)2], (I), and [Cu2(C13H9Cl2N2O)2(NCS)2], (II), are dinuclear Schiff base compounds. Both molecules are located on crystallographic centres of inversion. In (I), the ZnII atom is five‐coordinated in a trigonal–bipyramidal coordination, with one imine N atom of one Schiff base and two acetate O atoms defining the basal plane, and one O atom and one pyridine N atom of the Schiff base occupying the axial positions, while in (II), the CuII atom is five‐coordinated in a square‐pyramidal coordination, with one O and two N atoms of one Schiff base and one terminal N atom of a bridging thiocyanate ligand defining the basal plane, and one terminal S atom of another bridging thiocyanate ligand occupying the apical position. The different bridging ligands lead to the different coordinations of the complexes.  相似文献

A new mixed ligand complex of general formula [La(H2O)(4,4′-bpy)(CCl2HCOO)3] n has been synthesized and characterized by elemental and thermal analysis, IR spectroscopy and conductivity studies. The crystal and molecular structure was determined. The lanthanum atom is ten coordinate by four oxygen atoms from two chelating tridentate dichloroacetate substituents, two oxygen atoms from two bidentate bridging dichloroacetate groups, two oxygen atoms from two bridging tridentate dichloroacetate substituent, one oxygen atom of water molecule and one nitrogen atom from 4,4′-bipyridyl substituent. The coordination polyhedron of central atom can be described as tetradecahedron. The molecules are built up by O–H?···?N hydrogen bonds to a two-dimensional network.  相似文献

Abstract

Crystals of monoaquo(μ-5-methylpyrazine-2-carboxylato-N,O,O′), (5-methylpyrazine-2-carboxyato-N,O)di(μ-aquo-O,O)calcium(II) contain molecular ribbons in which two adjacent calcium(II) ions are bridged by two bidentate oxygen atoms donated by two ligand molecules on one side and bidentate oxygen atoms of two water molecules on the other. The coordination polyhedron around the Ca(II) ion is a pentagonal bipyramid. The vertices of its pentagonal base are composed of two bridging water oxygen atoms, two carboxylate oxygen atoms of two ligand molecules and a nitrogen atom belonging to one of the bridging ligands. A coordinated water molecule constitutes the apex of the pyramid on one side of the base, while the N, O bonding moiety of a second ligand molecule makes two apices on the other side of the base. The ribbons are held together by a system of hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

The tetranuclear cubane-like complex, [NiL(EtOH)]4·0.5EtOH (1) with tridentate Schiff base ligand (H2L= 2-Hydroxymethyl-N-salicylideneaniline) has been synthesized and its crystal structure and spectroscopic properties have been studied. The complex consists of a tetranuclear (NiO)4 cubane core, of which four nickel(Ⅱ) ions are bridged by μ3-alkoxide group and each nickel(Ⅱ) ion is coordinated to three μ3-alkoxide oxygen atoms, one imino nitrogen atom and one phenoxide oxygen atom from Schiff base ligand, and further ligated by one EtOH molecule, completing a distorted octahedral geometry.  相似文献

In the title compound, [Cu2I2(C11H16N4)2], each of the two crystallographically equivalent Cu atoms is tetrahedrally coordinated by two N atoms from one 1,1′‐methylenebis(3,5‐dimethyl‐1H‐pyrazole) ligand and two bridging iodide anions. The molecule has a crystallographic center of symmetry located at the mid‐point of the Cu·Cu line. One H atom of the CH2 group of the 1,1′‐methylenebis(3,5‐dimethyl‐1H‐pyrazole) ligand interacts with an iodide ion in an adjacent molecule to afford pairwise intermolecular C—H·I contacts, thereby forming chains of molecules running along the [101] direction.  相似文献

The two complexes of composition Cu2(OAc)4(phen)(H2O)2 ( 1 ) andCu2(OAc)4(phen)2(H2O) ( 2 ) have been synthesized and characterized by chemical analysis and IR and electronic spectroscopies. Compound 2 has the structure of a dimer with a phenanthroline molecule and two monodentate acetate groups coordinated to each copper atom and a water molecule as the only bridging ligand between them. Each copper atom has a distorted square‐planar pyramidal coordination, determined by two oxygen atoms at 1.94(3) and 1.959(3) Å, two nitrogen atoms at 2.023(4) Å and the oxygen atom of the bridging water molecule at 2.289(2) Å. The distance between the two copper atoms is of 4.29 Å and the angle Cu(1)‐O(3)‐Cu(1A) 139.2(2)°. The water molecule is involved in two intramolecular hydrogen bonds with non coordinated oxygen atoms. The distance between the molecules of phenanthroline is 3.75 Å. Magnetic and EPR results for Cu2(OAc)4(phen)(H2O)2 ( 1 ), Cu2(OAc)4(phen)2(H2O) ( 2 ), Cu2(OAc)4(bipy) ( 3 ) and Cu2(OAc)4(bipy)2(H2O)2 ( 4 ) have been analysed and compared. For 1 and 3 an antiferromagnetic dimer unit [Cu2(μ‐OAc)4] with 2J = ?325 and ?292 cm?1, respectively, and other two copper atoms without significant magnetic interaction are present. Triplet signals are detected in the EPR spectra. In 2 and 4 there is no practically magnetic exchange and the orthorhombic signals are observed in the EPR spectra.  相似文献

In the title complex, {[Cu(C6H5O3)Cl(H2O)]·H2O}n, the CuII atom has a deformed square‐pyramidal coordination geometry formed by two O atoms of the maltolate ligand, two bridging Cl atoms and the coordinated water O atom. The Cu atoms are bridged by Cl atoms to form a polymeric chain. The deprotonated hydroxyl and ketone O atoms of the maltolate ligand form a five‐membered chelate ring with the Cu atom. Stacking interactions and hydrogen bonds exist in the crystal.  相似文献

Two monomeric cobalt(Ⅱ)complexes,[CoL(N3)] ClO4(1)and CoL(N3)2(2),where L is tris((3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)methyl)amine,were synthesized and their crystal structures were determined by X-ray diffraction technique.Complex 1 is five coordinated with one azide nitrogen atom and four nitrogen atoms of the tris((3,5-dimethylpyrazol-l-yl)-methyl)amine ligand, and the metal center is in distorted trigonal bipyramidal environment.Complex 2 is six coordinated distorted octahedron with the two azide nitrogen atoms and four nitrogen donors of the tris((3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)-methyl)amine ligand. The solution behaviors of the title complexes have been further investigated by UV-Vis,and 1H NMR analysis. It is found that the formation of 1 and 2 depends on the molar ratio of the azide ion to metal salt and ligand Complex 1 attached with one azide group is more stable and easy to generate than complex 2 incorporated with two azide groups, and the reasons were well discussed.  相似文献

The syntheses, spectroscopy and single crystal X‐ray structures of the multifunctional acrylamide‐derived ligand N‐pyrazolylpropanamide (= L) ( 1 ), and its complexes [L2CuCl2] ( 2 ) and [L4Co3Cl6] ( 3 ) with copper(II) and cobalt(II) chlorides, respectively, are described. The ligand 1 is easily obtained in one step by the reaction of pyrazole with acrylamide in a 1:1 molar ratio in the presence of trimethylbenzylammonium hydroxide as a basic catalyst. The reaction of CuCl2·2H2O with 1 in a 1:2 metal salt:ligand molar ratio in ethanol/‐triethylorthoformate solution gave coordination compound 2 . The crystal structure of 2 contains two seven‐membered chelate rings formed by two nitrogen atoms of the pyrazolyl groups and two weakly coordinated carbonyl oxygen atoms of the substituted amide moieties. Two chloride ions in the axial positions complete a distorted octahedral coordination environment around the CuII atom. The reaction of CoCl2·6H2O with 1 in a 1:2 metal salt:ligand molar ratio afforded the unusual zwitterionic complex 3 . The crystal structure of 3 contains a central cobalt atom in an octahedral coordination surrounded by four ligands in which two of them act as chelate ligands and the other two, coordinated via the carbonyl oxygen atoms of the amide moieties to this metal center, act as bridging ligands bonded to two CoCl3? units.  相似文献

The title compound, [Cu2(C9H10NO3)2(NO3)2(C10H8N2)(H2O)2]n, contains CuII atoms and l ‐tyrosinate (l ‐tyr) and 4,4′‐bipyridine (4,4′‐bipy) ligands in a 2:2:1 ratio. Each Cu atom is coordinated by one amino N atom and two carboxylate O atoms from two l ‐tyr ligands, one N atom from a 4,4′‐bipy ligand, a monodentate nitrate ion and a water molecule in an elongated octahedral geometry. Adjacent Cu atoms are bridged by the bidentate carboxylate groups into a chain. These chains are further linked by the bridging 4,4′‐bipy ligands, forming an undulated chiral two‐dimensional sheet. O—H...O and N—H...O hydrogen bonds connect the sheets in the [100] direction. This study offers useful information for the engineering of chiral coordination polymers with amino acids and 4,4′‐bipy ligands by considering the ratios of the metal ion and organic components.  相似文献

The reaction of 2‐ethyl‐2‐(2‐hydroxybenzylideneamino)propane‐1,3‐diol (H3L) with CuCl2⋅2H2O affords a new copper complex, [ClCu(H2L)], which has been determined using X‐ray crystallography. In the solid, copper atom is four‐coordinated by two oxygen atoms and one nitrogen atom from the ligand and one chlorine atom. Electrochemical studies show that the complex can act as an electrocatalyst for hydrogen evolution from a dimethylformamide solution of acetic acid and a neutral buffer (pH = 7.0) with a turnover frequency of 46.2 and 482 moles of hydrogen per mole of catalyst per hour at an overpotential of 941.6 and 837.6 mV, respectively.  相似文献
