Lithium-riched cathode material for lithium-ion batteries, Li1.17Ni0.12Co0.13Mn0.58O2, was synthesized via crystallization from a solution of metal acetates, followed by a thermal treatment of the material obtained as a powder. The phase, elemental, and granulometric compositions of the material were examined, as well as the morphology of the powder particles obtained. The discharge capacity of the material in relation to the charging voltage was found from the results of electrochemical tests, and endurance tests were performed. The discharge capacity upon 85 charge/discharge cycles at voltages in the range 2.8–4.8 and a current of 0.1C was about 180 mA h g–1.  相似文献

The annihilation behavior of irradiation defects induced in neutron-irradiated Li2TiO3 and Li2ZrO3 were investigated with the tritium release behavior. It was revealed that the common characteristics in both samples were that the annihilation process of irradiation defects consisted of two first-order processes and E’-center could act as tritium trapping site, and otherwise was the way how the E’-center annihilated. The difference was suggested to attribute to the mobility of M as M4+ (or M3+, etc.).  相似文献

Summary Thermodynamic properties of a layered perovskite oxide Gd2SrCo2O7 have been studied. Powder X-ray diffraction, electric resistivity, magnetic susceptibility and heat capacity measurements were carried out. The crystal structure was determined as I4/mmm. The temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility was fitted to the Curie-Weiss behavior with antiferromagnetic interaction. Spin state of Co3+ ion was derived to be intermediate spin state configuration (t2g5eg1). The spin ordering was observed as a broad anomaly in the heat capacity curve with a peak at 2 K. The measured entropy was 35.47 J K-1mol-1, which was 65% of expected value. Thus the spin ordering should not be completed at the lowest temperature 0.2 K covered in the present experiments and/or some short range ordering remains at higher temperatures.  相似文献

Direct hydrocarbon type solid oxide fuel cells are attractive from simple gas feed process and also high energy conversion efficiency. In this study, La0.5Sr0.5MnO3 (LSM55) perovskite oxide was studied as oxide anode for direct hydrocarbon type solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC). Although reasonable power density like 1 W/cm2 and open circuit voltage (OCV) (1.1 V) at 1273 K was exhibited when H2 was used as fuel, the power density as well as OCV of the cell using LSM55 for anode was significantly decreased when dry C3H8 was used for fuel. After power generation measurement, LSM55 phase was decomposed to MnO and La2MnO4. Effects of various dopants to Mn site in LSM55 were studied and it was found that partial substitution of Mn in LSM55 with other cation, especially transition metal, is effective for increasing maximum power density. In particular, reasonable high power density can be achieved on the cell using Ni-doped LSM55 for anode. On the other hand, Al substitution is effective for increasing stability against reduction and so, dopant effects of Al were studied in more details for dry C3H8 fuel. The power density as well as OCV increased with increasing Al content and the highest power density was achieved at x = 0.4 in La0.5Sr0.5Mn1 ? x Al x O3. Among the examined composition, it was found that the cell using La0.5Sr0.5Mn0.6Al0.4O3 anode shows the largest power density (0.2 W/cm2) at 1173 K and high OCV (1.01 V) against dry C3H8 fuel.  相似文献

The borate ester plasticized AlPO4 composite solid polymer electrolytes (SPE) have been synthesized and studied as candidates for lithium polymer battery (LPB) application. The electrochemical and thermal properties of SPE were shown to be suitable for practical LPB. Nanostructured LiMn2O4 with spherical particles was synthesized via ultrasonic spray pyrolysis technique and has shown a superior performance to the one prepared via conventional methods as cathode for LPB. Furthermore, the AlPO4 addition to the polymer electrolyte has improved the polymer battery performance. Based on the AC impedance spectroscopy data, the performance improvement was suggested as being due to the cathode/polymer electrolyte interface stabilization in the presence of AlPO4. The Li/composite polymer electrolyte/nanostructured LiMn2O4 electrochemical cell showed stable cyclability during the various current density tests, and its performance was found to be quite acceptable for practical utilities at ambient temperature and showed remarkable improvements at 60 °C compared with the solid state reaction counterpart.  相似文献

Perovskite SrCo0.6Fe0.2Nb0.2O3-z attracts attention as a promising material with high oxygen conductivity. The sample was investigated by means of high-temperature X-ray powder diffraction and thermogravimetry. Phase transition was detected near 400 °C and accompanied with significant mass loss. The phase transition affects oxygen mobility, important for the synthesis of oxygen permeable membranes. The unit cell parameters are proved to change with temperature after two effects (1) reversible conventional thermal expansion and (2) irreversible contraction-expansion due to the changes in the oxygen content. In situ high-temperature X-ray diffraction experiments allowed us to separate the contributions and to measure them as a function of temperature.  相似文献

A simple and rapid separation procedure was systemized for the determination of 99Tc, 90Sr, 94Nb, 55Fe and 59,63Ni in low and intermediate level radioactive wastes. The integrated procedure involves precipitation, anion exchange and extraction chromatography for the separation and purification of individual radionuclide from sample matrix elements and from other radionuclides. After separating Re (as a surrogate of 99Tc) on an anion change resin column, Sr, Nb, Fe and Ni were sequentially separated as follows; Sr was separated as Sr (Ca-oxalate) co-precipitates from Nb, Fe and Ni followed by purification using Sr-Spec extraction chromatographic resin. Nb was separated from Fe and Ni by anion exchange chromatography. Fe was separated from Ni by anion exchange chromatography. Ni was separated as Ni-dimethylglyoxime precipitates after the removal of 134,137Cs and 110mAg by Cs-phosphotungstate and AgCl precipitation, respectively. Finally, the radionuclide sources were prepared by precipitation for their radioactivity measurements. The reliability of the procedure was evaluated by measuring the recovery of chemical carriers added to a synthetic radioactive waste solution.  相似文献

There is a need to provide radioactivity standards of the higher actinides in support of both decommissioning and remediation activities as well as routine environmental analysis. In the case 249Cf, this will provide a useful calibration nuclide for both α-and γ-spectrometry as well as improving knowledge of the decay scheme for this nuclide. There is anecdotal evidence to suggest that the chemical yield of americium and curium may differ in radiochemical analysis. Thus, a chemical yield tracer of 245Cm may help to resolve this issue and will be suitable for both, suitable for use as a chemical yield tracer for both α-particle spectrometry and mass spectrometry. An aged source of 249Cf was used as the source material for the separation of these two nuclides by cation-exchange, using 2-hydroxy-2-methyl-propanoic acid at controlled pH as an eluant, 249Cf being eluted before the 245Cm daughter. The purity of both nuclides was measured by γ-ray spectrometry.  相似文献

A detailed exploration of the atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) of a sugar‐carrying monomer, 6‐O‐methacryloyl‐1,2;3,4‐di‐O‐isopropylidene‐D‐galactopyranose (MAIPGal) was performed. The factors pertinent to ATRP, such as initiators, ligands, catalysts, and temperature were optimized to obtain good control over the polymerization. The kinetics were examined in detail when the polymerization was initiated by methyl 2‐bromoisopropionate (2‐MBP), ethyl 2‐bromoisobutyrate (2‐EBiB), or a macroinitiator, [α‐(2‐bromoisobutyrylate)‐ω‐methyl PEO] (PEO–Br), with bipyridine (bipy) as the ligand at 60 °C or by 2‐EiBB with N,N,N′,N″,N″‐pentamethyldiethylenetriamine (PMDETA) as the ligand at room temperature (23 °C). The effects of the catalysts (CuBr and CuCl) were also investigated. We demonstrate that the successful ATRP of MAIPGal can be achieved for 2‐EBiB/CuBr/bipy and 2‐MBP/CuCl/bipy at 60 °C and for 2‐EBiB/CuBr/PMDETA at room temperature. The initiation by 2‐EBiB at room temperature with PMDETA as the ligand should be the most optimum operation for its moderate condition and suppression of many side reactions. Chain extension of P(MAIPGal) prepared by ATRP with methyl methacrylate (MMA) as the second monomer was carried out and a diblock copolymer, P(MAIPGal)‐b‐PMMA, was obtained. Functional polymers, poly(D‐galactose 6‐methacrylate) (PGMA), PEO‐b‐PGMA, and PGMA‐b‐PMMA were obtained after removal of the protecting groups. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Selective catalytic hydrogenation of unsaturated carbonylic compounds to unsaturated alcohols on bi-metallic Ru-Sn catalysts/support was studied. The catalysts were prepared by the sol–gel method and the method of co-impregnation with the objective to evaluate selected parameters of preparation, i.e., the amount of modifying tin and the support (TiO2, SiO2, Al2O3), on their catalytic activity and selectivity. A significant modifying effect of tin was proved, especially its positive effect on the selectivity. Concerning the selectivity as well as the activity, Al2O3 was found to be the optimal support. Furthermore, the effect of a substrate was studied with results proving suitability of this catalytic system for hydrogenation of unsaturated aldehydes; however, the utilization for selective hydrogenation of unsaturated ketones was found inadequate.  相似文献

Ferroelectric Bi3.25La0.75Ti3O12 (BLT) thin films were fabricated by depositing sol-gel solutions on Pt(111)/Ti/SiO2/Si (100) substrates. Crystallographic orientations of the BLT films were random, but the preferred orientations along (00l) and (117) axes were found. All films showed a single-phase bismuth-layered structure but the orientation in the films could be engineered by optimizing the growth condition, as well as by introducing dopant atoms such as Ce and Zr in the films, which in turn influenced the ferroelectric properties of the films significantly. The shape of c-axis-oriented grains was more plate-like, while that of (117)-oriented grains was rod-like. Small % substitution of Ce, Mn, and Zr atoms at Ti site enhanced the remanent polarization by approximately 20%, while substitution of Si atoms reduced the remanent polarization in BLT films but improved insulating properties. It was also demonstrated that fatigue endurance could be controlled by the concentration of dopant atoms, which was thought to be due to the decrease in oxygen vacancy concentration.  相似文献

As an asymmetric organic molecular crystal, p-N,N-dimethylaminobenzaldehyde (DAB) exhibits peculiar optical property. It was first grown by solution technique adopting slow evaporation method at room temperature using CCl4 as growth medium. The solubility of DAB increases with temperature. Good quality transparent crystals of p-N,N-dimethylaminobenzaldehyde were carefully collected and subjected various characterization studies such as UV, FTIR, 1H and 13CNMR spectral studies and thermal (TG-DTG) studies to determine the purity and application oriented properties of the grown crystals.  相似文献

The potential of heteropoly acid H3PW12O40 to catalyze the hydrolysis of cellulose to glucose under hydrothermal conditions was explored. This technology could contribute to sustainable societies in the future by using cellulose biomass. A study to optimize the reaction conditions, such as the amount of catalyst, reaction time, temperature, and the amount of cellulose used, was performed. A remarkably high yield of glucose (50.5%) and selectivity higher than 90% at 453 K for 2 h with a mass ratio of cellulose to H3PW12O40 of 0.42 were achieved. This was attributed to the high hydrothermal stability and the excellent catalytic properties, such as the strong Brønsted acid sites. This homogeneous catalyst can be recycled for reuse by extraction with diethyl ether. The results illustrate that H3PW12O40 is an environmentally benign acid catalyst for the hydrolysis of cellulose.  相似文献

Energetic materials such as a mixture of guanidine nitrate (GN)/basic copper nitrate (BCN) are used as gas generators in automotive airbag systems. However, at the time of the airbag inflation, the gas generators release toxic combustion gases such as CO, NH3, and NOx. In this study, we investigated the combustion and thermal decomposition behaviors of GN/BCN mixture, focusing primarily on their exhaust gas composition. As a result, when the exhaust gas of the combustion under constant pressure in an inert gas stream was analyzed using a detection tube, the amount of NOx (mainly NO) yielded greater decrease with increasing atmospheric pressure as compared to the amounts of CO and NH3. Thus, provided GN/BCN is ignited in a closed container, a large amount of NOx is presumed to have been released during the initial stage of combustion, which yielded comparatively low pressure. Results of the thermogravimetry–differential scanning calorimetry–Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (TG/DSC/FTIR) indicated that the GN/BCN mixture caused endothermic decomposition at 170 °C and exothermic decomposition at 208 °C, which was accompanied by 66% mass loss. The decomposition gases, CO2, N2O, and H2O, were detected via FTIR spectrum. Because N2O was not detected in the combustion gas, it was suggested that the detected N2O was generated at a low temperature and decomposed in high-temperature combustion.  相似文献

In this study, a three-component nanocomposite consisted of graphene, manganese ferrite and phosphotungstic acid (PTA) has been prepared. This composite, which is designated as Graphene/MnFe2O4@PTA, was synthesized through anchoring of PTA–imidazolium ionic liquid on magnetic graphene sheets. The structural and magnetic properties of the fabricated nanocomposite were studied by employing FT-IR, SEM, EDX, TEM, ICP, VSM, P-XRD and BET techniques. The synthesized magnetic nanocomposite was examined as an efficient and recyclable acidic catalyst for Mannich reaction under solvent-free conditions. The products of this reaction, which are an important class of potentially bioactive compounds, were obtained with good to excellent yields, and the catalyst could be readily recycled without any significant loss of its activity.  相似文献

The surface of ceramic electrolyte ZrO2 + 9 mol % Y2O3, hereinafter referred to as YSZ (abbreviated yttria stabilized zirconia), was modified with 0.1 to 0.2 μm oxide films of ZrO2, Y2O3, and YSZ (same composition as substrate) by dip coating in alcohol solutions of the relevant salts and further annealing. The results of scanning electronic microscopy and X-ray diffraction evidence epitaxial film growth. By means of impedance spectroscopy at the temperatures of 500 to 600°C, the effect of YZS electrolyte surface modification with ZrO2, Y2O3, and YSZ films to the polarization resistance of silver electrode was studied.  相似文献

An improved method is proposed to determine the content of 210Pb in lead using 210Po measured by alpha-ray spectrometry. This improved method, which is based on radiochemical separation by DDTC–toluene extraction, employs EDTA and citrate as masking reagents for the lead ions. To selectively extract polonium from an alkaline solution, the pH dependency was examined using a liquid scintillation counting method. And pH 9 was chosen as an extraction condition. Then 210Po was electrodeposited on a stainless steel disk, and the chemical recovery was followed by 209Po tracer. The effectiveness of the new method was validated by the agreement with the analytical results from five samples as determined by gamma-ray spectrometry.  相似文献
