In this paper, with the help of the Lax representation, we show the existence of infinitely many conservation laws for a differential-difference equation,which is one of the Ladic-Ablowitz hierarchy, and the conservation density and the associated flux are given for- mularlly. Based on classical Lie symmetry method, the one-dimensional nonlinear wave equation is investigated. By using four-dimensional subalgebras of the equation, the invariant groups and commutator table are constructed. Furthermore, optimal system of the equation is obtained, and the exact solutions can be gained by solving reduced equations. Finally, a complete derivation of the conservation law is given by using conservation multipliers. 相似文献

Knowledge of the Lax pair and the Darboux transformation for a completely integrable system provides an iterative approach for generating exact solutions. This approach involves solving for the eigenfunction of the Lax pair at each step. But this process can be considerably simplified using the Bäcklund transformation and Bianchi's permutability theorem. This allows constructing the so-called nonlinear superposition formula, which provides a new solution of the system in terms of three previous solutions. The advantage of this approach is that the differential order of the nonlinear superposition formulas is lower than that of the Lax pairs, and in some cases, these formulas reduce to algebraic equations. We consider the construction of new nonlinear superposition formulas in the form of both differential equations and algebraic equations. 相似文献

In this paper, a nonlinear distributed second order equation is considered. An algorithm for tracking a prescribed solution based on constructions of feedback control theory is designed. In this paper a method is developed to calculate the Floquet exponents of the matrix-valued version of Hill's equation using infinite determinants. It is shown that the Floquet exponents are precisely the zeros of an infinite determinant corresponding to the differential equation.
