Temperature dependence of tbe pair-breaking critical current density of MgB2, jd(T), is studied using a two-band Ginzburg-Landau theory. The results are shown to be in good agreement with experimental data for the superconducting magnesium diboride MgB2.  相似文献

Temperature dependence of the magnetization M (T) of two-band superconductors is studied in the vicinity of upper critical field He2 by using a two-band Ginzburg-Landau (GL) theory. It is shown that magnetization M(T) has a nonlinear character due to positive curvature of upper critical field Hc2(T) and temperature dependence of effective Ginzburg-Landau parameter Neff(T). The results are shown to be in qualitative agreement with experimental data for the superconducting magnesium diboride, MgB2.  相似文献

Two-band Ginzburg-Landau (TB G–L) equations for a bulk MgB2 were solved analytically to determine the temperature dependence of surface critical magnetic fieldH c3 (T). It is shown thatH c3 (T) has the same temperature dependence with Hc2 (T), similar to the case of a single-band superconductor,H c3 (T) = 166H c2 (T). We use an elimination procedure for the decoupling of G–L equations of two-band superconductivity, which eases the calculations. It is expected that the temperature dependence forH c3 (T) gives positive curvature nearT c .  相似文献

Critical temperature of Mg1-xAlxB2, MgB2-xCx are calculated using two-band Eliashberg theory in intermediate e-ph coupling. Analytical calculations are conducted for different values of doping parameters x in this compounds. Pressure effects on critical temperature in MgB2 and nonmagnetic borocarbide YNi2B2C are also investigated. Results is compared with available experimental data and good agreement is achieved.  相似文献

The Ginzburg-Landau (GL) free energy of crystalline color superconductors is important for understanding the nature of the phase transition to the normal quark matter and predicting the preferred crystal structure. So far the GL free energy at zero temperature has only been evaluated up to the sixth order in the condensate. To give quantitative reliable predictions we need to evaluate the higher-order terms. In this work, we present a new derivation of the GL free energy by using the discrete Bloch representation of the fermion field. This derivation introduces a simple matrix formalism without any momentum constraint, which may enable us to calculate the GL free energy to arbitrary order by using a computer.  相似文献

非中心对称超导体LaNiC_2是传统BCS超导体还是能隙存在节点又或是两带超导体,目前仍然存在争议.基于此,文章用两带Ginzburg-Landau理论分析了超导体LaNiC_2的上临界磁场随温度的变化关系,计算结果与实验结果在整个温度区间内符合得很好,说明LaNiC_2是两带超导体,和陈健等人的观点一致.文章还分析了两个不同能带对上临界磁场的影响,发现相对较小的相干长度对LaNiC_2的上临界磁场影响较大.  相似文献

The upper critical field in MgB2 is investigated in the framework of the two-gap Ginzburg-Landau theory. A variational solution of linearized Ginzburg-Landau equations agrees well with the Landau level expansion and demonstrates that spatial distributions of the gap functions are different in the two bands and change with temperature. The temperature variation of the ratio of two gaps is responsible for the upward temperature dependence of in-plane Hc2 as well as for the deviation of its out-of-plane behavior from the standard angular dependence. The hexagonal in-plane modulations of Hc2 can change sign with decreasing temperature.  相似文献

A theoretical framework for treating the effects of magnetic fieldH on the pairing theory of superconductivity is considered, where the field is taken in an arbitrary direction with respect to crystal axes. This is applicable to closed, as well as open normal state Fermi surface (FS), including simple layered metals. The orbital effects of the magnetic field are treated semiclassically while retaining the full anisotropic paramagnetic contribution. Explicit calculations are presented in the limits |H| → |H c2(T)|,T ∼ 0 andTT c(|H|), |H| ∼ 0. Effects of weak nonmagnetic impurity scattering, without vertex corrections, have also been taken into account in a phenomenological way. The final results for the case of open FS and layered materials are found to differ considerably from those of the closed FS. For example, an important parameter,h(T=0)=|Hc2(0)|/[-Tδ|H c2 TT]T{s0} for the case of a FS open ink z-direction with thek z-bandwidth, 4t 3, very small compared to the Fermi energy,E F, is close to 0.5906, compared to 0.7273 for the closed FS, in the clean limit. Analytical results are given for the magnetic field dependence ofT c and the temperature dependence of H c2 for a model of layered superconductors with widely open FS. For a set of band structure parameters for YBa2Cu3O7 used elsewhere, we find reasonable values for the upper critical fieldH c2(0), the slope (dH c2/dT)T c0, anisotropic coherence lengths ζi(T=0),i=x, y, z, and (dT c/d|H|)|H| → 0.  相似文献
