A yield condition is obtained for circular cylindrical shells made of a definite class of fiber-reinforced composite material whose components possess plastic properties. It is shown that, in the plane of generalized stresses — the axial bending moment and the circumferential force (when the axial force is absent) — the yield curve consists of two linear and four curvilinear sections. By approximating the curvilinear sections, we get a piecewise linear yield condition described by a hexagon in the plane indicated. The nonlinear equations and the corresponding piecewise linear equations of the yield condition for particular cases are given in the form of tables. In solving specific boundary-value problems, we consider a circular cylindrical shell simply supported at its ends and loaded with a uniform internal pressure, for which the load-carrying capacity is determined in relation to the mechanical properties of composite components and some characteristic geometrical parameters. The problem of rational profiling of equal-stress-reinforced Kirchhoff plates subjected to purely elastic and elastoplastic transverse bending is formulated. A qualitative analysis of the systems of resolving equations is carried out. It is found that the problem can have two possible solutions, which can be controlled. By particular calculations, it is shown that, through rational profiling of the bent plates, the consumption of phase materials in them can be reduced greatly compared with that in traditional ones, or the load-carrying capacity of the plates can be raised significantly at a fixed consumption of phase materials.  相似文献

A problem on the transverse-longitudinal bending of reinforced plates of variable thickness under a thermal-force loading is formulated. A qualitative analysis of the problem is carried out, and a way of its linearization is indicated. Calculations of isotropic and metal composite plates subjected to the transverse or transverse-longitudinal bending showed that their bearing capacity in the elastoplastic bending is a number of times (occasionally, by an order of magnitude) greater than in the elastic bending. The heating of the plates sharply decreases their resistance to the bending in the case of elasticity and affects it only slightly in the case of elastoplasticity. The problem on the elastoplastic transverse bending of Kirchhoff plates of variable thickness reinforced with fibers of constant cross section is formulated and its qualitative analysis is performed. An analytical solution to the problem is constructed in the case of cylindrical bending, and, by using the Bubnov-Galerkin method, an approximate solution for a rectangular plate is obtained. Based on calculations of plates reinforced with boron fibers and steel wire, it is shown that the load-carrying capacity of the structural member in elastoplastic bending is several times (or even by an order of magnitude) higher than in purely elastic one.Translated from Mekhanika Kompozitnykh Materialov, Vol. 41, No. 1, pp. 17–36, January–February, 2005.  相似文献

The direct problem of calculating three-layered reinforced rotating disks with account of thermosensitivity of their substructural elements is formulated. Based on this problem and a strength criterion for the substructural elements of the disk, the inverse problem on determining its load-carrying capacity at a given profile of the disk and reinforcement structure of the load-carrying layer is stated. The calculation results for a magnesium-steel disk with a fixed geometry and different reinforcement structures are presented. It is shown that the thermosensitivity of the substructural elements lowers considerably the load-carrying capacity at elevated temperatures. The isotropic steel and quasi-isotropic reinforced disks, most often used in practice, are inefficient compared with spirally and radially reinforced ones; for magnesium-steel disks, the best are the structures with a radial and radially circumferential reinforcement.  相似文献

A survey of the literature and state of the art of the mechanical aspects of delaminations in laminate composite structures is presented. Surface and internal delaminations of various origin, shape, and location are discussed. The origination, stability, and postcritical behavior of delaminations under quasi-static, cyclic, and dynamic loads are analyzed. Some problems for further investigations are discussed.  相似文献

在王震鸣等人提出的各向异性多层扁壳的大挠度方程的基础上,提出了复合材料多层板壳大挠度非线性问题的迭代解法。分析了四边简支的复合材料多层矩形扁壳,与小挠度线性理论解析解及有限元非线性解进行了对比。结果表明,载荷较小并发生小挠度时,所得的大挠度解和小挠度解析解非常接近,载荷较大时,所得解和有限元非线性解非常接近。  相似文献

A set of invariants describing the limit regimes of braking disk-type wound composite flywheels is suggested. The limit regime is determined by using a linear failure criterion. It is shown that, for generating short-time impulses of very high power, a set of small identical flywheels is more effective than one large flywheel with an equivalent mass. To date, bending problems for strips or plates made of composite materials with curved structure have been investigated only in the linear statement. However, in many cases, the necessity arises to investigate the corresponding bending problems in the geometrically nonlinear statement. Therefore, in the present paper, some bending problems for a composite strip with a periodically curved structure is investigated in such a statement using the exact nonlinear equations of elasticity theory in Lagrangian coordinates. The numerical results are obtained by employing the FEM with the use of the Newton-Raphson and the Modified Newton-Raphson algorithms.  相似文献

The buckling instability of a thick rectangular plate made of a viscoelastic composite material is studied. The investigation is carried out within the framework of the three-dimensional linearized theory of stability. The plate edges are clamped and the plate is compressed through the clamps. Moreover, it is assumed that the plate has an initial infinitesimal imperfection, and, as a buckling criterion, the state is taken where this imperfection starts to increase indefinitely at fixed finite values of external compressive forces. From this criterion, the critical time is determined. The corresponding boundary-value problems are solved by employing the three-dimensional FEM and the Laplace transform. The material of the plate is assumed orthotropic, viscoelastic, and homogeneous. Numerical results related to the critical time are presented.  相似文献
