The static equation of state (EOS) of tantalum (Ta) is determined by in situ energy-dispersive synchrotron powder x-ray diffraction in a diamond anvil cell (DAC) up to 133GPa. The body-centered-cubic (bcc) phase of Ta is found to be stable over the entire pressure range investigated. The bulk moduli and its first pressure derivative of Ta are constrained by fitting the determined pressure-volume data to Vinet form EOS: B0 =192.65±(3.08)GPa and B'0 =3.58±(0.11). For the sake of avoiding the affect of non-hydrostatic stress, argon is used as a pressure media. A careful checking of the stress state of the sample is presented simultaneously.  相似文献

Abstract

The crystal structure and compressibility of uranium has been determined by energy dispersive X-ray measurements in a diamond-cell apparatus up to pressures of 100 GPa. The alpha phase of uranium remains stable up to the highest pressures as suggested by earlier shock-Hugoniot data. An equation-of-state for alpha-uranium derived from both types of data implies that this phase also remains stable up to 2500 K at Hugoniot pressures of 100 GPa.  相似文献

We have performed X-ray absorption (XAS) and diffraction (XRD) measurements at high pressure on samples of powdered InAs, up to 50 and 80 GPa, respectively. In the lower pressure range, our data are consistent with the following structural sequence: Zincblende M NaCl M Cmcm . The first order transition from the semiconducting Zincblende phase to the metallic NaCl phase is clearly seen by the shift in the absorption onset at the As K-edge and the strong modifications of the extended X-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) due to the changes in the local structure from a 4-fold to a 6-fold coordinated environment. XAS shows the high pressure phase to be locally site-ordered. The diffraction data, analized by Rietveld fitting, gives a volume discontinuity of j V/V 0 ~0.18 for the first order transition. There is no apparent volume discontinuity associated to the NaCl M Cmcm transition.  相似文献

Gold powder is compressed non-hydrostatically up to 127 GPa in a diamond anvil cell(DAC),and its angle dispersive X-ray diffraction patterns are recorded.The compressive strength of gold is investigated in a framework of the lattice strain theory by the line shift analysis.The result shows that the compressive strength of gold increases continuously with the pressure up to 106 GPa and reaches 2.8 GPa at the highest experimental pressure(127 GPa) achieved in our study.This result is in good agreement with our previous experimental result in a relevant pressure range.The compressive strength of gold may be the major source of the error in the equation-of-state measurement in various pressure environments.  相似文献

X-ray diffraction was combined with X-ray energy-dispersion, Fourier-transform infrared, and Raman spectroscopies to study the fossilization of a Cretaceous specimen of the plant Brachyphyllum castilhoi, a fossil from the Ipubi Formation, in the Araripe Sedimentary Basin, Northeastern Brazil. Among the possible fossilization processes, which could involve pyrite, silicon oxide, calcium oxide, or other minerals, we were able to single out pyritization as the central mechanism producing the fossil, more than 100 million years ago. In addition to expanding the knowledge of the Ipubi Formation, this study shows that, when combined with other experimental techniques, Raman spectroscopy is a valuable tool at the paleontologist’s disposal.  相似文献

以光刻胶作为探测器,用3.2nm的X射线进行了二维点阵测试样品的软X射线衍射实验,记录了探测器和样品间隔分别为0、2mm和80mm时的图像,并用光学显微镜放大观察。实验结果表明,探测器记录的图像与探测 和样品之间的距离有关,即随探测器和样品之间距离的变化而变化。这与理论模拟的结果一致。  相似文献

Measurements made in a laser heated diamond-anvil cell are reported that extend the melting curve of Xe to 80 GPa and 3350 K. The steep lowering of the melting slope (dT/dP) that occurs near 17 GPa and 2750 K results from the hybridization of the 5p-like valence and 5p-like conduction states with the formation of clusters in the liquid having icosahedral short-range order (ISRO).  相似文献

泌尿系结石是一种世界范围的常见病、多发病。准确分析尿石的化学成分和物相,有助于了解泌尿系结石的形成机制。X射线衍射法(XRD)是进行泌尿系结石研究的最重要方法之一,用作定性分析时具有可靠性,用作定量分析时具有准确性,且检测简便迅速、灵敏度高、多组分和多晶态可一次性检测。文章综述了XRD在泌尿系结石定性和定量分析中的应用以及XRD与质子激发X射线发射光谱(PIXE)、X射线光电子能谱(XPS)和原子力显微镜(AFM)等联合分析尿石的研究进展。  相似文献

The strength and equation of state of molybdenum triboride have been determined under nonhydrostatic compression up to 80?GPa, using an angle-dispersive radial X-ray diffraction technique in a diamond anvil cell (DAC). The RXD data yield a bulk modulus and its pressure derivative as K0?=?342(6)?GPa with K0′?=?2.11(17) at ψ?=?54.7°. Analysis of diffraction data using the strain theory indicates that the ratio of differential stress to shear modulus (t/G) ranges from 0.002 to 0.050 at pressures of 4–80?GPa. Together with theoretical results on the high pressure shear modulus, our results here show that molybdenum triboride sample under uniaxial compression can support a differential stress of ~10?GPa when it started to yield with plastic deformation at ~30?GPa. In addition, we draw a conclusion that MoB3 is not a superhard material but a hard material.  相似文献

利用金刚石对顶砧和同步辐射光源,对用电弧法制备的、具有纤锌矿结构的氮化铝(AlN)纳米线进行了最高压力达51.1 GPa的原位角散X射线衍射研究。结果表明:当压力上升至24.9 GPa时,纤锌矿结构的AlN纳米线开始向岩盐矿结构转变;当完全卸压后,最终的岩盐矿结构被保留下来;纤锌矿AlN纳米线的轴向比例c/a随压力增加而线性减小。AlN纳米线独特的线状结构决定了其区别于AlN微晶和AlN纳米晶的高压行为。  相似文献

 用四点电极法及磁控溅射结合光刻集成电极的方法,测量了铁在25 GPa压力下的电阻随压力的变化;用微区X射线衍射仪原位测量了铁在25 GPa压力下晶胞参数随压力的变化关系。实验结果表明,铁在13.7 GPa时发生相变,由体心立方相转变为六方密堆相,在18.1 GPa时相变结束。利用高压下铁的电阻数据,结合X射线衍射结果,推导出铁的电导率随压力的变化关系。  相似文献

 采用同步辐射光源和金刚石对顶砧(DAC)技术,对绿柱石进行了室温下的原位高压能散X射线衍射(EDXD)研究,实验的最高压力为19.2 GPa。在实验压力范围内,未观察到绿柱石发生相变,轴压缩率c大于a;在小于9.3 GPa的压力范围内,其体积压缩率符合二阶Murnaghan状态方程,而压力在9.3~19.2 GPa范围内时,其体积压缩率有所增加,且体积-压力关系近乎线性变化。  相似文献

 对于天然镁铝石榴子石(Pyrope),在0~25.3 GPa压力条件下,在美国布鲁克海汶(Brookhaven)国家实验室国家同步辐射实验站,利用金刚石压腔装置(DAC),进行了角散X 射线粉末衍射的高压原位测量,获得了天然镁铝石榴子石随压力变化的衍射图谱。采用Materials Studio软件的Refinement模块对衍射图谱进行了分析,得到了镁铝石榴子石的晶胞参数及其随压力的变化,进而利用Birch-Murnaghan状态方程进行数值拟合,得到了镁铝石榴子石的零压体弹模量B0=199 GPa(B′0=4)。  相似文献
