Elastic properties are important in fundamental understanding of multiferroic materials. However, up to now, there is no work about anisotropy of elastic properties in orthorhombic Ca_3Mn_2O_7. In this study, using coordinate transformation method, we investigated basic elastic parameters(elastic constants c'_(ij)) and engineering elastic parameters(Young's modulus E, Poisson's ratio v, and the rigidity modulus G') of orthorhombic Ca_3Mn_2O_7 along arbitrary orientations. The detailed anisotropic characteristics of these parameters were presented. The results reveal the orientation related elastic properties in mm2 point group orthorhombic Ca_3Mn_2O_7.  相似文献

我们制备了名义成分是La1.4 Ca1.6 Mn2 O7的多晶样品,并且研究了它的结构、磁性和电性.利用Rietveld方法对X射线衍射数据进行精修的结果表明,该La1.4 Ca1.6 Mn2 O7是由钙钛矿锰氧化物La0.66 Ca0.34 MnO3和氧化钙CaO组成的复相混合物.其中,La0.66 Ca0.34 MnO3占相成分的大部分,而CaO占小部分.我们对比了该名义组分样品La1.4 Ca1.6 Mn2 O7和La0.7 Ca0.3 MnO3的铁磁居里转变温度和绝缘体-金属转变温度,结果表明该La1.4 Ca1.6 Mn2 O7的磁输运性质是由其中的钙钛矿相成分决定的.所有的这些结果表明,名义组分样品La1.4 Ca1.6 Mn2 O7实际上并没有形成所谓的Sr3Ti2O7型的双层结构,而实际形成的是以钙钛矿结构作为主相的复相混合物.  相似文献

We synthesized a quasi-two-dimensional distorted triangular lattice antiferromagnet Ca3 Co Nb2O9, in which the effective spin of Co2+is 1/2 at low temperatures, whose magnetic properties were studied by dc susceptibility and magnetization techniques. The x-ray diffraction confirms the quality of our powder samples. The large Weiss constant θCW ~-55 K and the low Neel temperature TN~ 1.45 K give a frustration factor f =| θCW/TN|≈ 38, suggesting that Ca3 Co Nb2O9resides in strong frustration regime. Slightly below TN, deviation between the susceptibility data under zero-field cooling(ZFC)and field cooling(FC) is observed. A new magnetic state with 1/3 of the saturate magnetization Ms is suggested in the magnetization curve at 0.46 K. Our study indicates that Ca3 Co Nb2O9is an interesting material to investigate magnetism in triangular lattice antiferromagnets with weak anisotropy.  相似文献

TlBa_2 Ca_2 Cu_3 O_9(Tl-1223) films have promising applications due to their high critical temperature and strong magnetic flux pinning. Nevertheless, the preparation of pure phase Tl-1223 film is still a challenge. We successfully fabricate Tl-1223 thin films on LaAlO_3(001) substrates using dc magnetic sputtering and a post annealing two-step method in argon atmosphere. The crystallization temperature of Tl-1223 films in argon is reduced by 100℃ compared to that in oxygen. This greatly reduces the volatilization of Tl and improves the surface morphology of films. The lower annealing temperature can effectively improve the repeatability of the Tl-1223 film preparation. In addition, pure Tl-1223 phase can be obtained in a broad temperature zone,from 790℃ to 830℃. In our study, the films show homogenous and dense surface morphology using the presented method. The best critical temperature of Tl-1223 films is characterized to be 110 K, and the critical current J_c(77 K, 0 T) is up to 2.13 × 106 A/cm~2.  相似文献

Glassy magnetic behavior and exchange bias phenomena are observed in single phase Mn_3O_4 nanoparticles.Dynamics scaling analysis of the ac susceptibility and the Henkel plot indicate that the observed glassy behavior at low temperature can be understood by taking into account the intrinsic behavior of the individual particles consisting of a ferrimagnetic(FIM) core and a spin-glass surface layer.Field-cooled magnetization hysteresis loops display both horizontal and vertical shifts.Dependence of the exchange bias field(H_E) on the cooling field shows an almost undamped feature up to 70 kOe,indicating the stable exchange bias state in Mn_3O_4.H_E increases as the particle size decreases due to the higher surface/volume ratio.The occurrence of the exchange bias can be attributed to the pinning effect of the frozen spin-glass surface layer upon the FIM core.  相似文献

We have measured the dielectric constant for NdMn_2O_5 in an external magnetic field to map out the magnetoelectric phase diagram. The phase diagram corresponds well with the previously reported data of neutron diffraction and magnetic susceptibility. Our main finding is the observation of a dielectric anomaly in the low temperature phase with a strong magnetoelectric effect, which is attributed to the independent Nd~(3+) ordering. Moreover, the absence of the dielectric anomaly in the paramagnetic phase is discussed, keeping in view the exchange interaction and its dependence on the rareearth R~(3+) ionic radius.  相似文献

The effect of Eu3+ion doping in the La sites of single-crystal La4/3Sr5/3Mn2O7was investigated. Electron spin resonance(ESR) was applied to La4/3Sr5/3Mn2O7and(La0.8Eu0.2)4/3Sr5/3Mn2O7single crystals. A phase separation and phase transitions were observed from the ESR spectra data. Between 350 K and 300 K, both paramagnetic resonance(PMR)and anisotropic ferromagnetic resonance(FMR) lines were observed in the ab plane and the c axis direction, suggesting a coexistence of the paramagnetic(PM) phase and the ferromagnetic(FM) phase. The magnetization measurement reveals a spin-glass-like behavior in single-crystal(La0.8Eu0.2)4/3Sr5/3Mn2O7below the temperature of spin freezing Tf(~ 29.5 K).  相似文献

For obtaining pure phase T12Ba2Ca2Cu3O10 (T1-2223) films with good superconducting properties, the growth technique is improved by dc magnetron sputtering and a triple post-annealing process. The triple post-annealing process comprises annealing twice in argon and once in oxygen at different temperatures. In the first low-temperature annealing phase in argon, T12Ba2CaCu2O8 (T1-2212) is obtained to effectively minimize evaporation in the next step. With the increase of temperature in the second annealing stage in argon, the previously prepared T1-2212 inter-phase is converted into T1-2223 phase. An additional annealing in oxygen is also adopted to improve the properties of T1-2223 films, each containing an optimal oxygen content value. The results of X-ray diffraction (XRD) θ-2θ scans, 09 scans and rotational φ scans show that each of the T1-2223 films has a high phase purity and an epitaxial structure. Smooth films are observed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The critical temperatures Tc of the films are measured to be about 120 K and the critical current densities Jc can reach 4.0 MA/cm2 at 77 K at self field.  相似文献

A blue phosphor was obtained by doping Eu~(2+)into a multi-cation host Sr_(0.8)Ca_(0.2)Al_2Si_2O_8 through high temperature solid state reaction.The emission spectra show a continuous red-shift behavior from 413 nm to 435 nm with Eu~(2+)concentration increasing.The substitution priority of Eu~(2+)in Sr_(0.8)Ca_(0.2)Al_2Si_2O_8 was investigated via x-ray diffraction(XRD)and temperature properties in detail:the Ca~(2+)ions are preferentially substituted by Eu~(2+)at lower doping,and with the Eu~(2+)concentration increasing,the probability of substitution for Sr~(2+)is greater than that of replacing Ca~(2+).Accordingly,we propose the underlying method of thermal property to determine the substitution of Eu~(2+)in the multi-cation hosts.Moreover,the abnormal increase of emission intensity with increasing temperature was studied by the thermoluminescence spectra.The energy transfer mechanism between the Eu~(2+)ions occupying different cation sites was studied by the lifetime decay curves.A series of warm white light emitting diodes were successfully fabricated using the blue phosphors Sr~+_(0.8)Ca_(0.2)Al_2Si_2O_8:Eu~2 with commercial red phosphor (CaSr)SiAlN_3:Eu~(2+)and green phosphor(Y Lu)_3Al_5O_(12):Ce~(3+),and the luminescent efficiency can reach 45 lm/W.  相似文献

Spinel(001)-orientated Mn_3O_4 thin films on Nb-doped SrTiO_3(001) substrates are fabricated via the pulsed laser deposition method.X-ray diffraction and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy indicate that the as-prepared epitaxial film is well crystallized.In the film plane the orientation relationship between the film and the substrate is[100]Mn_3O_4\\[110]Nb-doped SrTiO_3.After an electroforming process,the film shows bipolar nonvolatile resistance switching behavior.The positive voltage bias drives the sample into a low resistance state,while the negative voltage switches it back to a high resistance state.The switching polarity is different from the previous studies.The complex impedance measurement suggests that the resistance switching behavior is of filament type.Due to the performance reproducibility and state stability,Mn_3O_4 might be a promising candidate for the resistive random access memory devices.  相似文献

Within the context of Born-Infeld (BI) nonlinear electrodynamics (NED) we revisit the non-relativistic, spinless H-atom. The pair potential computed from the Born-Infeld equations is approximated by the Morse type potential with remarkable fit over the critical region where the convergence of both the short and long distance expansions slows down dramatically.
