讨论了利用光谱滤波器实现自启动的被动锁模掺Yb3+光纤环形激光器的锁模机理,并研制出全光纤结构超短脉冲掺Yb3+光纤环形激光器.使用980 nm二极管激光器作为抽运源,高掺杂浓度掺Yb3+光纤作为增益介质.在净群速度色散为正的环形腔中加入光谱滤波器,抑制Yb3+离子在1030 nm强发射峰的同时,通过对啁啾脉冲的光谱滤波实现脉冲压缩.光谱滤波器与光纤非线性偏振旋转效应相结合,实现了激光器在1053 nm可自启动、十分稳定的锁模运转.激光器锁模阈值功率300 mW,平均斜率效率18.3%,最大输出功率53.07 mW,对应最大输出脉冲能量3.2 nJ.锁模光脉冲中心波长1053.6 nm,3 dB带宽10.84 nm,重复频率16.45 MHz.锁模脉冲宽度为皮秒量级,经腔外光栅对压缩至188 fs. 关键词: 3+光纤激光器')" href="#">掺Yb3+光纤激光器 自启动锁模 全光纤  相似文献

超短脉冲激光系统中,足够宽的带宽是获得超短脉冲的先决条件.高增益放大器,特别是再 生放大器的增益窄化效应严重制约着输出激光脉冲的时间特性.将可编程声光色散滤波器(AO PDF)应用到高功率激光系统中,能有效地克服增益窄化效应.实验表明,再生放大器的光谱 宽度由未应用前的27?nm增加到了44?nm,压缩脉冲的宽度减小了一半,从而也使峰值功率 提高了一倍. 关键词: 超短脉冲 增益窄化 光谱整形 可编程声光色散滤波器  相似文献

An all-fiber Yb-doped Q-switched fiber ring laser system is reported. The laser system uses an all-fiber M-Z interferometer which plays both roles of Qswitch and tunable filter. Theoretical analysis and primary experimental results are given. A continuous tuning range 6fover 7 nm (from 1035 nm to 1042 nm) and a very stable pulse train with repetition rates exceeding 3 kHz and pulse width of 1.1μs were obtained. 用半导体激光器抽运的调Q YLF倍频激光器抽运掺钛蓝宝石激光器,用LBO晶体在腔内产生二次谐波,再聚焦到BBO晶体上产生四次谐波深紫外激光。为了提高谐波转换效率,在腔内分别插入了单片、组合双折射滤光片和聚焦透镜,在平均功率为3.6W,波长为527nm的抽运光下得到410mW,417nm的蓝光。用长焦距的透镜聚焦二次谐波,得到34mW,208nm的紫外脉冲激光。从实验上详细研究了基频光的线宽对二次谐波效率的影响,二次谐波的线宽对四次谐波效率的影响、基频光的波长对四次谐波产生效率的影响。全面地分析了单片和组合大拆射滤光片及抽运功率对钛蓝宝石激光器基频光的脉宽、线宽等参量的影响。  相似文献

采用非线性偏振旋转锁模,构建了一种全正色散掺Yb3+光纤环形激光器.在该激光腔内采用了10 nm带宽的光纤滤波器提供附加的自振幅调制.通过改变滤波器在腔内的位置,实验证明了滤波器位置对高啁啾脉冲的整形过程起到重要的作用.在320 mW的抽运功率下,最终获得平均功率为922 mW,脉冲重复频率为266 MHz,脉冲宽度为62 ps的稳定脉冲输出,单脉冲能量达35 nJ的优化结果.通过数值模拟与实验结果的验证表明,两者相符很好. 关键词: 锁模光纤激光器 全正色散 滤波效应 高啁啾脉冲  相似文献

In this study, wavelength-tunable and pulse-width variable Fourier domain mode-locking lasers were developed with a repetition rate of 60.9 kHz. A spectral laser tuning range of over 100 nm was achieved by tuning the offset voltage to a fiber Fabry-Perot tunable filter (FFP-TF). The pulse width variation was achieved with amplitude modulation of the driving voltage to the FFP-TF. The pulse width ranged from 6.2 μs to 55 ns. The linewidth of the laser changed, from 0.109 to 0.083 nm, according to the pulse width variation.  相似文献

We report on a widely tunable ytterbium fs-fiber laser without dispersion compensation. The all-normal dispersion laser contains a spectral filter for wavelength tuning and for generating additional amplitude modulation to support the nonlinear polarization evolution as mode-locking mechanism. By tilting the interference filter the center wavelength of the laser can be tuned from 1015 nm to 1050 nm with a pulse energy up to 2.0 nJ. The pulses can be dechirped externally to 108 fs.  相似文献

We demonstrate a flexible erbium-doped pulsed fiber laser which achieves the wavelength and pulse width tuning by adjusting an intracavity filter. The intracavity filter is flexible to achieve any of the different wavelengths and bandwidths in the tuning range. The wavelength and width of pulse can be tuned in a range of ~ 20 nm and from ~0.8 ps to 87 ps,respectively. The flexible pulsed fiber laser can be accurately controlled, which is insensitive to environmental disturbance.  相似文献

We present a broadly tunable active mode-locked fibre ring laser based on a semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA), with forward injection optical pulses. The laser can generate pulse sequence with pulsewidth about 12ps and high output power up to 8.56 dBm at 2.5 GHz stably. Incorporated with a wavelength-tunable optical bandpass filter, the pulse laser can operate with a broad wavelength tunable span up to 37nm with almost constant pulsewidth. A detailed experimental analysis is also carried out to investigate the relationship between the power of the internal cavity and the pulsewidth of the output pulse sequence. The experimental configuration of the pulse laser is very simple and easy to setup with no polarization-sensitive components.  相似文献

构建了基于损耗非对称非线性光学环镜的8字腔掺铒光纤锁模激光器,并讨论了腔内滤波带宽对腔内脉冲演化和激光器输出特性的影响.在非线性光学环镜中引入双向输出耦合器,耦合器和传输光纤位置的不对称产生非互易性,实现锁模运转.利用自制的可调谐滤波器实验研究了滤波带宽对激光器的影响.当滤波带宽为2.1 nm时,腔内脉冲的演化过程受滤波和孤子效应的共同作用,激光器顺时针和逆时针输出脉冲半高全宽分别为583.7fs和2.94 ps.随着滤波带宽增大,滤波的作用逐渐减弱,激光器两路输出脉冲参数逐渐接近,并接近傅里叶变换极限脉冲.当滤波带宽较大时,腔内脉冲的演化过程受增益谱和孤子效应的共同作用,激光器顺时针和逆时针输出脉冲均为变换极限脉冲,半高全宽约为440 fs.通过调节滤波器中心波长实现了对激光器输出脉冲光谱的连续调谐,调节范围大于30 nm.  相似文献

A tunable, low-repetition rate, all-normal-dispersion Yb-doped fiber laser (YDFL) that is passively mode locked based on a phase shifted long period fiber grating (PS-LPFG) is demonstrated and proposed. The mode-locking mechanism of the laser is based on nonlinear polarization evolution (NPE). Using a PS-LPFG as the spectral filter in the laser cavity, the mode-locked output wavelength can be tuned continuously and smoothly over a spectral range of 10 nm, which is the first time implementation of a tunable giant chirped pulse with all-fiber format bandpass filter in YDFL. The maximum output pulse energy is 38.9 nJ at the repetition rate of 2.499 MHz.  相似文献

Preliminary experiments using an X-ray streak filter spectrometer employing a Au/CsI bifurcated photocathode to investigate the X-ray history of UV (350 nm) laser produced plasmas are reported. Novel use of the streak spectrometer permits a direct and precise fiducial record of the laser pulse to be made from specularly scattered laser light, in true streak time relative to the X-ray record. Initial data indicates a constant 700 eV temperature during the laser pulse; time-resolved particulars are compared to simulations made by the design code LILAC.  相似文献

分析了利用非线性偏振旋转效应作为等效可饱和吸收体锁模的原理,并用该方法构建起环形腔被动锁模掺铒光纤激光器,结合可调谐滤波器腔外滤波的方法实现锁模脉冲波长的连续可调谐.实验中得到自起振、平均输出功率0.313 mW,脉冲半极大全宽度(FWHM)1.5 ps,中心波长1562.3nm,重复频率13.9MHz的稳定被动锁模脉冲序列输出,滤波后输出脉冲中心波长在1553.2~1571.4 nm内连续可调,得到谱宽2.5 nm以下,脉宽小于1.8 ps的限变脉冲输出.  相似文献

报道了在10 Hz飞秒再生放大超快激光系统中,运用可编程声光色散滤波器(AOPDF)对注入再生放大的种子光进行频谱整形和色散预补偿,使钛宝石激光系统输出光脉冲谱线半峰全宽由原来的38 nm展宽到66 nm,压缩后输出脉冲宽度从35 fs减小到20 fs。实验结果表明,利用可编程声光色散滤波器能够同时独立进行光谱整形和大范围内色散补偿的特性,可以有效抑制啁啾脉冲放大过程中存在的谱线增益窄化效应,补偿钛宝石激光系统中存在的残留色散。这为进一步研制小于20 fs,10 TW量级钛宝石激光系统奠定了基础。  相似文献

In this Letter, a simple and passively mode-locking Yb-doped all fiber laser using a nonlinear polarization rotation technique operating under dissipative soliton(DS) or dissipative soliton resonance(DSR) conditions is proposed, furthermore, using a combination of a bandpass filter and a Loyt filter, tunable single-wavelength or dual-wavelength operation under two different conditions is realized, respectively. The tunable single?wavelength DS laser has a 5 nm tuning range from 1029 to 1034 nm with a pulse width of 110 ps. The tunable single-wavelength DSR operation laser has a range of 4 nm. In-depth research on the mechanism of the con?version between DS and DSR is carried out. Particularly, under dual-wavelength DSR operation, the obtained step-like pulses consist of two rectangular pulses with different energies. This work could help give a deeper insight into normal dispersion pulses.  相似文献

对不同条件下强激光在空气中形成等离子体通道的三次谐波光谱特性进行了研究。单脉冲能量12 mJ,脉宽30 fs,重复频率10 Hz,中心波长795 nm的飞秒激光脉冲经0.5 m焦距的凹面镜聚焦,在空气中形成了等离子体通道, 并在前 向观测到谱线半峰全宽(FWHM)为15 nm的三次谐波。随着脉冲啁啾的变化,三次谐波的光谱出现红移或兰移,当激光脉冲附带+1.3×105fs2的二阶色散时,三次谐波谱线红移且谱峰强度增长了两倍。同时 ,通过改变可编程声光色散滤波器(AOPDF)光谱调制的位置(Hole position),三次谐波的光谱也发生频移。  相似文献

We present a narrow-passband spectral filter capable of frequency-resolved imaging of rotational Raman light scattering with strong spectral rejection of out-of-band Raman, Rayleigh, and Mie scattering. The filter is based on mercury-vapor absorption, and subsequent resonant fluorescence and has a passband of less than 1 cm(-1). It is paired with an injection-seeded, cavity-locked, frequency-tripled Ti:sapphire laser that produces >30 mJ/pulse of single-mode, tunable light in the vicinity of 253.7 nm. The laser and filter are combined to spectrally resolve scattering from individual rotational Raman lines of nitrogen and oxygen.  相似文献

Multi-wavelength square pulses are generated in the dissipative soliton resonance(DSR) regime by a Yb-doped fiber laser(YDFL) with a long cavity configuration. The spectral filter effect provided by a passive fiber with low-stress birefringence facilitates the establishment of multi-wavelength operation. Through appropriate control of the cavity parameters,a multi-wavelength DSR pulse can be generated in single-and dual-waveband regions. When the multi-wavelength DSR works in the 1038 nm waveband, the pulse duration can broaden from 2 ns to 37.7 ns. The maximum intra-cavity pulse energy is 152.7 nJ. When the DSR works in the 1038 nm and 1080 nm wavebands, the pulse duration can be tuned from2.3 ns to 10.5 ns with rising pump power. The emergence of the 1080 nm waveband is attributed to the stimulated Raman scattering(SRS) effect. Our work might help a deeper insight to be gained into DSR pulses in all-normal-dispersion YDFLs.  相似文献

By means of Collins diffraction integral, the propagation expression of an ultrashort laser pulse passing through a spatial filter is derived. The effects of the magnification of spatial filter on pulse broadening and distortion of pulse-front for the ultrashort optical pulse are analytically deduced and numerically simulated. It is found that pulse broadening and propagation time difference of a laser pulse getting through spatial filter is proportional to the magnification. As a conclusion, in an ultrashort pulse laser system with a large aperture, the effect of pulse broadening and distortion of pulse-front should be considered.  相似文献

通过优化放大腔结构参数和采用高光束质量的泵浦激光,依靠放大器腔内各个元件的色散展宽种子脉冲, 用钛宝石作为增益介质, 在低泵浦能量下, 实现了高光束质量,高稳定的中等能量的高重复率飞秒脉冲再生放大. 将钛宝石晶体离焦放置,有效的避免了光学损伤. 在1.1 mJ的绿光泵浦下, 获得了2 ps, 120 μJ, 重复频率为1 KHz, 光谱带宽7.8 nm的放大脉冲, 用石英棱镜对压缩可得到130 fs的激光脉冲.  相似文献
