Fresnel diffraction on periodic gratings results in a two-dimensional periodic distribution of light intensity, also known as the Talbot effect. Here this approach is extended to the family of superimposed structures with translational symmetry, which consist of superposed spatial harmonics. The Talbot effect is demonstrated to be valid for superimposed gratings. The considered superimposed gratings provide a wide range of textures of optical super-lattices. These texture super-lattices represent a Talbot carpets with a complex motif, which can be varied by choosing structure parameters. These results provide a new functionality for structuring optical lattices and can find potential applications in a wide range of light–matter interactions. 相似文献

基于高斯谢尔光束的相干模式分解理论和波动光学,建立了部分相干同步辐射硬X射线光束通过光学器件的传播模型。模拟了微聚焦X射线光束照射下光栅的分数塔尔博特效应,得到了聚焦光束的光强分布和相干特性变化,并分析了散焦光束入射下的光栅自成像。然后通过模拟准直光束入射下的光栅塔尔博特效应,得到了不同传播距离处自成像条纹的变化情况,分析了影响光栅自成像条纹形状的因素。通过光栅衍射条纹测量同步辐射相干度,发现对矩形相位光栅来说,应该对衍射图样进行傅里叶分解,求出各级傅里叶系数随传播距离的变化曲线,从而得到入射光束相干特性。 相似文献

Talbot images constructed in the Fresnel diffraction region due to two-dimensional Gaussian beam arrays with amplitude fluctuation are statistically investigated using a mathematical model based on the propagation law of a Gaussian beam. The average intensity distribution of Talbot images is analyzed theoretically, and the corresponding simulation is conducted by computer. The relative fluctuation of the peak intensity to the mean with respect to Talbot images is found to be less than that of the source by approximately 1/4. Furthermore, the effect of the finite size of source arrays on the formation of Talbot images is revealed throughout the simulation as well as the effect of the amplitude fluctuation. 相似文献

利用平面波衍射的角谱理论,分析计算了二元相位光栅衍射光场的空间分布,特别讨论了离焦量和非单色光对泰伯像的影响.随离焦量和带宽的增加,泰伯像的对比度和衍射效率减小,而压缩比增加.计算结果指出,在带宽<1000或离焦量<0.01时,其对比度和衍射效率减小不到10%,仍能成较高质量的泰伯像;当带宽>5000或离焦量>0.1时,成像质量显著下降.用薄膜沉积法制作了二元相位光栅,实验验证了理论结果.这些结果对泰伯成像和阵列照明器的设计有重要的参考价值. 相似文献

The measurement of human ocular aberration is now frequently performed because of the increase in refractive surgery on the
human cornea. The Hartmann-Shack (H-S) wavefront sensor is considered to be the most useful wavefront sensor, and a calculation
method for wavefront aberration has been established. New methods of measuring wavefront aberrations of human eyes, using
the Talbot image of a two-dimensional grating as a wavefront sensor and local shift of the Talbot image to calculate tilt
of the wavefront are shown. The shift of the Talbot image was determined by comparing the phases of fundamental spatial frequency
between the grating and the local patch of the Talbot image by Fourier transformation. The actual experiment was performed
using a modified commercially available wavefront analyzer. Using these methods, Talbot images were obtained from model eyes
and a human eye, and wavefront shapes were successfully reconstructed. Wavefront aberrations can be measured even when the

This work analyzes the propagation characteristics of electromagnetic waves and the frequency selectivity of dielectric gratings with periodicity in two dimensions, having in mind their application as dichroic surfaces in the millimeter wave band. The moment method and the Green's functions, along with the volume equivalence theorem are used. Particular cases were analyzed to compare with results available in the specialized literature and agreement was observed. This work gives evidence that the inclusion of the periodicity along a second dimension allows an additional adjusting parameter of the frequency selective characteristics for the design requirements of dielectric gratings. 相似文献

In atomic dynamics,oscillation along different axes can be studied separately in the harmonic trap. When the trap is not harmonic, motion in different directions may couple together. In this work, we observe a twodimensional oscillation by exciting atoms in one direction, where the atoms are transferred to an anharmonic region. Theoretical calculations are coincident to the experimental results. These oscillations in two dimensions not only can be used to measure trap parameters but also have potential applications in atomic interferometry and precise measurements. 相似文献

By taking the coupling between the non-neighbourhood waveguides into account, the coupling characteristic of three waveguide arrays is analysed. The strong coupling equation of three waveguides is dealt with Laplace transform and LU decomposition. The general field evolution equation is obtained by inversion of the Laplace transform. The results show that the self-imaging conditions (Talbot effect) do not satisfy in general. The theoretical predictions are in good agreement with the BPM simulations. 相似文献

Effect of the particle number density on the dispersion properties of longitudinal and transverse lattice waves in a two-dimensional Yukawa charged-dust system is investigated using molecular dynamics simulation. The dispersion relations for the waves are obtained. It is found that the frequencies of both the longitudinal and transverse dust waves increase with the density and when the density is sufficiently high a cutoff region appears at the short wavelength. With the increase of the particle number density, the common frequency tends to increase, and the sound speed of the longitudinal wave also increases, but that of the transverse wave remains low. 相似文献

We consider a two-dimensional Coulomb gas of positive and negative pointlike unit charges interacting via a logarithmic potential. The density (rather than the charge) correlation functions are studied. In the bulk, the form-factor theory of an equivalent sine-Gordon model is used to determine the density correlation length. At the surface of a rectilinear plain wall, the universality of the asymptotic behavior of the density correlations is suggested. A scaling analysis implies a local form of the compressibility sum rule near a hard wall. A symmetry of the Coulomb system with respect to the Möbius conformal transformation, which induces a gravitational source acting on the particle density, is established. Among the consequences, a universal term of the finite-size expansion of the grand potential is derived exactly for a disk geometry of the confining domain. 相似文献

变线距光栅在同步辐射装置、激光核聚变装置上有着广阔的应用前景,它的制作和检测方法尚未成熟。用干涉法测量变线距光栅的线密度,给出了测量原理、实验中的光路、数据处理的方法、测量结果。在待测光栅表面,衍射光干涉条纹的数量和密度是入射光干涉条纹和倍增后光栅的刻线之差。采用共光路的方案,使光路具有很强的抗干扰能力。用中值滤波消除干涉图像中的干扰。针对不同的干涉条纹,讨论和比较了两种测量方法,提出相对密度不变性。证明了干涉法完全可以用于变线距光栅的线密度测量,并能达到一定的精度,初步解决了检测问题,认为这种方法也可以用于变线密度光栅的加工中。 相似文献

Double-Humped Transverse Density Profile in Two-Dimensional Chute Flow with Rough Sidewalls 下载免费PDF全文
We study a two-dimensional granular rapid flow with rough sidewalls stuck with the same size discs by molecular dynamics simulation. A transient state of the double-humped density profile in the flowing process has been found, which appears and moves as travelling wave and is the same as the phenomena in the recent experiments [Acta Phys. Sin. 53 (2004) 3389 (in Chinese)]. Our simulation shows that the rough sidewalls play an important role in the converting momentum of boundary discs from the vertical direction to the horizontal one through particle collisions to form this profile and the good elasticity of discs ensures this effect. The appearance of the double-humped profile may be a precursor, which determines if the whole flow will be far repulsed from the boundary and become dilute eventually. 相似文献
