The hydroformylation of alkynes is a fundamental and important reaction in both academic research and industry. Conventional methods focus on the conversion of alkynes, CO, and H2 into α,β‐unsaturated aldehydes, but they often suffer from problems associated with operation, regioselectivity, and chemoselectivity. Herein, we disclose an operationally simple, mild, and syngas‐free rhodium‐catalyzed reaction for the hydroformylation of alkynes via formyl and hydride transfer from an alkyl aldehyde. This synthetic method uses inexpensive and easy‐to‐handle n‐butyraldehyde to overcome the challenge posed by the use of syngas in traditional approaches and employs a commercially available catalyst and ligand to transform a broad range of internal alkynes, especially alkynyl‐containing complex molecules, into versatile stereodefined α,β‐unsaturated aldehydes with excellent chemo‐, regio‐, and stereoselectivity.  相似文献

A new class of bidentate phosphoramidite ligands, based on a spiroketal backbone, has been developed for the rhodium‐catalyzed hydroformylation reactions. A range of short‐ and long‐chain olefins, were found amenable to the protocol, affording high catalytic activity and excellent regioselectivity for the linear aldehydes. Under the optimized reaction conditions, a turnover number (TON) of up to 2.3×104 and linear to branched ratio (l/b) of up to 174.4 were obtained in the RhI‐catalyzed hydroformylation of terminal olefins. Remarkably, the catalysts were also found to be efficient in the isomerization–hydroformylation of some internal olefins, to regioselectively afford the linear aldehydes with TON values of up to 2.0×104 and l/b ratios in the range of 23.4–30.6. X‐ray crystallographic analysis revealed the cis coordination of the ligand in the precatalyst [Rh( 3 d )(acac)], whereas NMR and IR studies on the catalytically active hydride complex [HRh(CO)2( 3 d )] suggested an eq–eq coordination of the ligand in the species.  相似文献

1‐Dodecene hydroformylation catalyzed by water soluble rhodium complex [RhCl(CO) (TPPTS)2] was studied in the presence of TTPTS [P(m‐C2H4SO3Na)3] and CTAB (cetyltrimethyl ammonium). The influence of reaction parameters was discussed in detail based on micelle effect in biphasic system. The modification for the microcircumstance of micelle interface was conducted by the introduction of a catalyst promoter TPPDS [PhP(m‐C2H4SO3Na)2] into the reaction solution. A synergistic effect between TPPDS and TPPTS on the regioselectivity of 1‐dodecene hydroformylation was observed. The selectivity of linear aldehyde in the products was so high as 95.7% at the molar ratio of [TPPDS]/[TPPTS] = 0.5.  相似文献

Active homogeneous catalytic systems based on Rh6(CO)16‐heteropolyacids for the regioselective hydroformylation of styrene and 1‐octene and their derivatives have been developed. The effects of the amount and the type of the heteropolyacid have been studied and showed a significant improvement of the conversion of styrene and the selectivity towards branched aldehydes. Other rhodium complexes were also considered in the study and the results showed the advantages of the rhodium cluster Rh6(CO)16 associated with the heteropolyacid H3PW12O40,25H2O (HPA‐W12). The effects of temperature, type of solvent and CO/H2 pressure have also been considered in order to optimize the reaction conditions. Copyright © 2004 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

New calix[4]arene‐based bis‐phosphonites, bis‐phosphites and bis‐O‐acylphosphites were synthesized and characterized. Treatment of these P‐ligands with selected rhodium and platinum precursors led to mononuclear complexes that were satisfactorily characterized. The solid state structure of the dirhodium(I) complex 14 has been determined by X‐ray diffraction. The two rhodium centres are bridged by two chloro ligands; one rhodium atom is further coordinated by calix[4]arene phosphorus atoms and the other by cyclooctadiene. The new calix[4]arene P‐ligands were tested in the Rh(I) catalyzed hydroformylation of 1‐octene. All Rh(I) complexes catalyzed the reaction leading to high chemoselectivity with regard to the formation of aldehydes. Yields and n/iso‐selectivities depended on the reaction conditions. Average yields of 80 % and n/iso‐ratios of about 1.3 to 1.5 were observed. High yields of aldehydes can be achieved using the methoxy substituted P‐ligands at low Rh:ligand ratios.  相似文献

The reaction of cationic diolefinic rhodium(I) complexes with 2‐(diphenylphosphino)benzaldehyde (pCHO) was studied. [Rh(cod)2]ClO4 (cod=cycloocta‐1,5‐diene) reacted with pCHO to undergo the oxidative addition of one pCHO with (1,2,3‐η)cyclooct‐2‐en‐1‐yl (η3‐C8H13) formation, and the coordination of a second pCHO molecule as (phosphino‐κP)aldehyde‐κO(σ‐coordination) chelate to give the 18e acyl(allyl)rhodium(III) species [Rh(η3‐C8H13)(pCO)(pCHO)]ClO4 (see 1 ). Complex 1 reacted with [Rh(cod)(PR3)2]ClO4 (R=aryl) derivatives 3 – 6 to give stable pentacoordinated 16e acyl[(1,2,3‐η)‐cyclooct‐2‐en‐1‐yl]rhodium(III) species [Rh(η3‐C8H13)(pCO)(PR3)]ClO4 7 – 10 . The (1,2,3‐η)‐cyclooct‐2‐en‐1‐yl complexes contain cis‐positioned P‐atoms and were fully characterized by NMR, and the molecular structure of 1 was determined by X‐ray crystal diffraction. The rhodium(III) complex 1 catalyzed the hydroformylation of hex‐1‐ene and produced 98% of aldehydes (n/iso=2.6).  相似文献

A rhodium‐catalyzed hydroformylation of 1,1‐disubstituted allenes is reported. Using a RhI/6‐DPPon catalyst system, one can obtain β,γ‐unsaturated aldehydes in high regio‐ and chemoselectivity. The Z‐configured product is formed with up to >95 % selectivity when unsymmetrically 1,1‐disubstituted allenes are submitted to the reaction conditions. This is the first time that these interesting building blocks are accessible by hydroformylation of allenes. The utility of this methodology is demonstrated by further transformations of one of the obtained products.  相似文献

New dinuclear Rh(I)–Phosphines of the types [Rh(µ‐azi)(CO)(L)]2 ( 1,3 – 7 ) and [Rh(µ‐azi)(L)]2 ( 8 ) with pendant polar groups, and a chealated mononuclear compound [Rh(azi‐H)(CO)(L)] ( 2 ) (where azi = 7‐azaindolate, L = polar phosphine) were isolated from the reaction of [Rh(µ‐Cl)(CO)2]2 with 7‐azaindolate followed by some polar mono‐ and bis‐phosphines ( L 1 – L 8 ). A relationship between Δδ31P‐NMR and ν(CO) values was considered to define the impact of polar‐groups on σ‐donor properties of the phosphines. These compounds were evaluated as catalyst precursors in the hydroformylation of 1‐hexene and 1‐dodecene both in mono‐ and biphasic aqueous organic systems. While the biphasic hydroformylations (water + toluene) gave exclusively the aldehydes, the monophasic one (aqueous ethanol) showed propensity to form both aldehydes and alcohols. The influence of bimetallic cooperative effects, and σ‐donor and hydrophilic properties of the phosphines with pendant polar‐groups in enhancing the yields and selectivity of hydroformylation products was emphasized. In addition, when strong σ‐donor phosphine was used, the π‐acceptor nature of pyridine ring of 7‐azaindolate spacer was found to be a considerable factor in facilitating the facile cleavage of CO group during hydroformylation and in supplementing the cooperative effects. The hydroformylation of terminal alkenes is one of the most important homogeneously catalyzed processes in industry, and the atomistic understanding of this reaction has attracted enormous interest in the past. Herein, the whole catalytic cycle for rhodium‐catalyzed hydroformylation with the 6‐diphenylphosphinopyridine‐(2H)‐1‐one (6‐DPPon) ligand 1 was studied. This catalytic transformation is challenging to describe computationally, since two requirements must be met: 1) changes in the hydrogen‐bond network must be modeled accurately and 2) bond‐formation/bond‐breaking processes in the coordination sphere of the rhodium center must be calculated accurately. Depending on the functionals used (BP86, B3LYP), the results were found to differ strongly. Therefore, the complete cycle was calculated by using highly accurate CCSD(T) computations for a PH3 model ligand. By applying an integrated molecular orbital plus molecular orbital (IMOMO) method consisting of CCSD(T) as high level and DFT as low‐level method, excellent agreement between the two functionals was achieved. To further test the reliability of the calculations, the energetic‐span model was used to compare experimentally derived and computed activation barriers. The accuracy of the new IMOMO method apparently makes it possible to predict the catalytic potential of real‐world systems.  相似文献

Cluster Complexes [M2Rh(μ‐PCy2)(μ‐CO)2(CO)8] with Triangular Core of RhM2 (M = Re, Mn; M2 = MnRe): Synthesis, Structure, Ring Opening Reaction, and Properties as Catalysts for Hydroformylation and Isomerisation of 1‐Hexene The salts PPh4[M2(μ‐H)(μ‐PCy2)(CO)8] and Rh(COD)[ClO4] were in equimolar amounts reacted at –40 to –15 °C in the presence of CO(g) in CH2Cl2/methanol solution under release of PPh4[ClO4] to intermediates. Such species formed in a selective reaction the unifold unsaturated 46 valence electrons title compounds [M2Rh(μ‐PCy2)(μ‐CO)2(CO)8] (M = Re 1 , Mn 2 ; M2 = MnRe 3 ) in yields of > 90%; analogeous the derivatives with the PPh2 bridge could the obtained (M = Re 4 , Mn 5 ). From these clusters the molecular structure of 2 was determined by a single crystal X‐ray analysis. The exchange of the labil CO ligand attached at the rhodium ring atom in 1 – 3 against selected tertiary and secondary phosphanes in solution gave the substitution products [M2RhL(μ‐PCy2)(μ‐CO)2(CO)7] (M = Re: L = PMe3 6 , P(n‐Bu)3 7 , P(n‐C6H4SO3Na)3 8 , HPCy2 9 , HPPh2 10 , HPMen2 11 , M2 = MnRe: L = HPCy2 12 ) nearly quantitative. Such dimanganese rhodium intermediates ligated with secondary phosphanes were converted in a subsequent reaction to the ring‐opened complexes [MnRh(μ‐PCy2)(μ‐H)(CO)5Mn(μ‐PR2)(CO)4] (M = Mn: R = Cy 13 , Ph 14 , Mn 15 ). The molecular structure of 13 , which showed in the time scale of the 31P NMR method a fluxional behaviour, was determined by X‐ray structure analysis. All products obtained were always characterized by means of υ(CO)Ir, 1H and 31P NMR measurements. From the reactants of hydroformylation process, CO(g) 1 – 2 in different solvents afforded at 20 °C under a reversible ring opening reaction the valence‐saturated complexes [MRh(μ‐PCy2)(CO)7M(CO)5] (M = Re 16 , Mn 17 ), whereas the reaction of CO(g) and the ring‐opened 13 to [MnRh(μ‐PCy2)(μ‐H)(CO)6Mn(μ‐PCy2)(CO)4] ( 18 ) was as well reversible. The molecular structures of 17 and 18 were determined by X‐ray analysis. The υ(CO)IR, 1H and 31P NMR measurements in pressure‐resistant reaction vessels at 20 °C ascertained the heterolytic splitting of hydrogen in the reaction of 1 – 2 dissolved in CDCl3 or THF‐d8 under formation of product monoanions [M2Rh(μ‐CO)(μ‐H)(μ‐PCy2)(CO)9] (M = Re, Mn), which also were formed by the reaction of NaBH4 and 1 – 2 . Finally, the substrate 1‐hexene and 1 and 3 gave under the release of the labil CO ligand an η2‐coordination pattern of hexene, which was weekened going from the Re to the Mn neighbor atoms. After the results of the catalytic experiments with 1 and 2 as catalysts, such change in the bonding property revealed an advantageous formation of hydroformylation products for the dirhenium rhodium catalyst 1 and that of isomerisation products of hexene for the dimanganese rhodium catalyst 2 . Par example, 1 generated n‐heptanal/2‐methylhexanal in TOF values of 246 [h–1] (n/iso = 3.4) and the c,t‐hexenes in that of 241 [h–1]. Opposotite to this, 2 achieved such values of 55 [h–1] (n/iso = 3.6) and 473 [h–1]. A triphenylphosphane substitution product of 1 increased the activity of the hydroformylation reaction about 20%, accompanied by an only gradually improved selectivity. The hydrogenation products like alcohols and saturated hydrocarbons known from industrial hydroformylation processes were not observed. The metals manganese and rhenium bound at the rhodium reaction center showed a cooperative effect.  相似文献

Fleetingly formyl : A new rhodium‐catalyzed hydroformylation reaction of N‐allyl oxazolidines, carried out under a CO/H2 atmosphere, followed by a diastereoselective deformylative cyclization affords hexahydropyrrolo[2,1‐b]oxazoles in good yields. The reaction proceeds by a unique hydroformylation–deformylation sequence in which the formyl group virtually substitutes for the {CH2? O} fragment of the oxazolidine heterocycle.

Nanocomposites of tantalum‐based pyrochlore nanoparticles and indium hydroxide were prepared by a hydrothermal process for UV‐driven photocatalytic reactions including overall water splitting, hydrogen production from photoreforming of methanol, and CO2 reduction with water to produce CO. The best catalyst was more than 20 times more active than sodium tantalate in overall water splitting and 3 times more active than Degussa P25 TiO2 in CO2 reduction. Moreover, the catalyst was very stable while generating stoichiometric products of H2 (or CO) and O2 throughout long‐term photocatalytic reactions. After the removal of In(OH)3, the pyrochlore nanoparticles remained highly active for H2 production from pure water and aqueous methanol solution. Both experimental studies and density functional theory calculations suggest that the pyrochlore nanoparticles catalyzed the water reduction to produce H2, whereas In(OH)3 was the major active component for water oxidation to produce O2.  相似文献

The electrochemical CO2 reduction reaction (CO2RR) to yield synthesis gas (syngas, CO and H2) has been considered as a promising method to realize the net reduction in CO2 emission. However, it is challenging to balance the CO2RR activity and the CO/H2 ratio. To address this issue, nitrogen‐doped carbon supported single‐atom catalysts are designed as electrocatalysts to produce syngas from CO2RR. While Co and Ni single‐atom catalysts are selective in producing H2 and CO, respectively, electrocatalysts containing both Co and Ni show a high syngas evolution (total current >74 mA cm?2) with CO/H2 ratios (0.23–2.26) that are suitable for typical downstream thermochemical reactions. Density functional theory calculations provide insights into the key intermediates on Co and Ni single‐atom configurations for the H2 and CO evolution. The results present a useful case on how non‐precious transition metal species can maintain high CO2RR activity with tunable CO/H2 ratios.  相似文献

An artificial photosynthetic (APS) system consisting of a photoanodic semiconductor that harvests solar photons to split H2O, a Ni‐SNG cathodic catalyst for the dark reaction of CO2 reduction in a CO2‐saturated NaHCO3 solution, and a proton‐conducting membrane enabled syngas production from CO2 and H2O with solar‐to‐syngas energy‐conversion efficiency of up to 13.6 %. The syngas CO/H2 ratio was tunable between 1:2 and 5:1. Integration of the APS system with photovoltaic cells led to an impressive overall quantum efficiency of 6.29 % for syngas production. The largest turnover frequency of 529.5 h?1 was recorded with a photoanodic N‐TiO2 nanorod array for highly stable CO production. The CO‐evolution rate reached a maximum of 154.9 mmol g?1 h?1 in the dark compartment of the APS cell. Scanning electrochemical–atomic force microscopy showed the localization of electrons on the single‐nickel‐atom sites of the Ni‐SNG catalyst, thus confirming that the multielectron reduction of CO2 to CO was kinetically favored.  相似文献

The Rh‐catalyzed hydroformylation of aromatic‐substituted alkenes is performed in a planetary ball mill under CO/H2 pressure. The dispersion of the substrate molecules and the Rh‐catalyst into the grinding jar is ensured by saccharides: methyl‐α‐d ‐glucopyranoside, acyclic dextrins, or cyclodextrins (CDs, cyclic oligosaccharides). The reaction affords the exclusive formation of aldehydes whatever the saccharide. Acyclic saccharides disperse the components within the solid mixture leading to high conversions of alkenes. However, they showed typical selectivity for α‐aldehyde products. If CDs are the dispersing additive, the steric hindrance exerted by the CDs on the primary coordination sphere of the metal modifies the selectivity so that the β‐aldehydes were also formed in non‐negligible proportions. Such through‐space control via hydrophobic effects over reactivity and regioselectivity reveals the potential of such solventless process for catalysis in solid state.  相似文献

Intermediates relevant to cobalt‐catalyzed alkene hydroformylation have been isolated and evaluated in fundamental organometallic transformations relevant to aldehyde formation. The 18‐electron (R,R)‐(iPrDuPhos)Co(CO)2H has been structurally characterized, and it promotes exclusive hydrogenation of styrene in the presence of 50 bar of H2/CO gas (1:1) at 100 °C. Deuterium‐labeling studies established reversible 2,1‐insertion of styrene into the Co?D bond of (R,R)‐(iPrDuPhos)Co(CO)2D. Whereas rapid β‐hydrogen elimination from cobalt alkyls occurred under an N2 atmosphere, alkylation of (R,R)‐(iPrDuPhos)Co(CO)2Cl in the presence of CO enabled the interception of (R,R)‐(iPrDuPhos)Co(CO)2C(O)CH2CH2Ph, which upon hydrogenolysis under 4 atm H2 produced the corresponding aldehyde and cobalt hydride, demonstrating the feasibility of elementary steps in hydroformylation. Both the hydride and chloride derivatives, (X=H?, Cl?), underwent exchange with free 13CO. Under reduced pressure, (R,R)‐(iPrDuPhos)Co(CO)2Cl underwent CO dissociation to form (R,R)‐(iPrDuPhos)Co(CO)Cl.  相似文献

A strategy to covalently connect crystalline covalent organic frameworks (COFs) with semiconductors to create stable organic–inorganic Z‐scheme heterojunctions for artificial photosynthesis is presented. A series of COF–semiconductor Z‐scheme photocatalysts combining water‐oxidation semiconductors (TiO2, Bi2WO6, and α‐Fe2O3) with CO2 reduction COFs (COF‐316/318) was synthesized and exhibited high photocatalytic CO2‐to‐CO conversion efficiencies (up to 69.67 μmol g?1 h?1), with H2O as the electron donor in the gas–solid CO2 reduction, without additional photosensitizers and sacrificial agents. This is the first report of covalently bonded COF/inorganic‐semiconductor systems utilizing the Z‐scheme applied for artificial photosynthesis. Experiments and calculations confirmed efficient semiconductor‐to‐COF electron transfer by covalent coupling, resulting in electron accumulation in the cyano/pyridine moieties of the COF for CO2 reduction and holes in the semiconductor for H2O oxidation, thus mimicking natural photosynthesis.  相似文献
