Organic–inorganic hybrid perovskites have attracted significant attention owing to their extraordinary optoelectronic properties with applications in the fields of solar energy, lighting, photodetectors, and lasers. The rational design of these hybrid materials is a key factor in the optimization of their performance in perovskite‐based devices. Herein, a mechanochemical approach is proposed as a highly efficient, simple, and reproducible method for the preparation of four types of hybrid perovskites, which were obtained in large amounts as polycrystalline powders with high purity and excellent optoelectronics properties. Two archetypal three‐dimensional (3D) perovskites (MAPbI3 and FAPbI3) were synthesized, together with a bidimensional (2D) perovskite (Gua2PbI4) and a “double‐chain” one‐dimensional (1D) perovskite (GuaPbI3), whose structure was elucidated by X‐ray diffraction.  相似文献

As a result of their attractive optoelectronic properties, metal halide APbI3 perovskites employing formamidinium (FA+) as the A cation are the focus of research. The superior chemical and thermal stability of FA+ cations makes α‐FAPbI3 more suitable for solar‐cell applications than methylammonium lead iodide (MAPbI3). However, its spontaneous conversion into the yellow non‐perovskite phase (δ‐FAPbI3) under ambient conditions poses a serious challenge for practical applications. Herein, we report on the stabilization of the desired α‐FAPbI3 perovskite phase by protecting it with a two‐dimensional (2D) IBA2FAPb2I7 (IBA=iso‐butylammonium overlayer, formed via stepwise annealing. The α‐FAPbI3/IBA2FAPb2I7 based perovskite solar cell (PSC) reached a high power conversion efficiency (PCE) of close to 23 %. In addition, it showed excellent operational stability, retaining around 85 % of its initial efficiency under severe combined heat and light stress, that is, simultaneous exposure with maximum power tracking to full simulated sunlight at 80 °C over 500 h.  相似文献

High‐quality phase‐pure MA1?xFAxPbI3 planar films (MA=methylammonium, FA=formamidinium) with extended absorption and enhanced thermal stability are difficult to deposit by regular simple solution chemistry approaches owing to crystallization competition between the easy‐to‐crystallize but unwanted δ‐FAPbI3/MAPbI3 and FAxMA1?xPbI3 requiring rigid crystallization conditions. Here A 2D–3D conversion to transform compact 2D mixed composition HMA1?xFAxPbI3Cl perovskite precursor films into 3D MA1?xFAxPbI3 (x=0.1–0.9) perovskites is presented. The designed Cl/I and H/FA(MA) ion exchange reaction induced fast transformation of compact 2D perovskite film, helping to form the phase‐pure and high quality MA1?xFAxPbI3 without δ‐FAPbI3 and MAPbI3 impurity. In all, we successfully developed a facile one‐step method to fabricate high quality phase‐pure MA1?xFAxPbI3 (x=0.1–0.9) perovskite films by 2D–3D conversion of HMA1?xFAxPbI3Cl perovskite. This 2D–3D conversion is a promising strategy for lead halide perovskite fabrication.  相似文献

Two‐dimensional (2D) homologous perovskites are arousing intense interest in photovoltaics and light‐emitting fields, attributing to significantly improved stability and increasing optoelectronic performance. However, investigations on 2D homologous perovskites with ultrathin thickness and large lateral dimension have been seldom reported, being mainly hindered by challenges in synthesis. A generalized self‐doping directed synthesis of ultrathin 2D homologous (BA)2(MA)n −1Pbn Br3n +1 (1<n <∞) perovskites uses 2D (BA)2PbBr4 perovskites as the template with MA+ dopant. Ultrathin (BA)2(MA)n −1Pbn Br3n +1 perovskites are formed via an intercalation–merging mechanism, with thickness shrinking down to 4.2 nm and the lateral dimension to 57 μm. The ultrathin 2D homologous (BA)2(MA)n −1Pbn Br3n +1 perovskites are potential materials for photodetectors with promising photoresponse and stability.  相似文献

Methylammonium lead trihalide perovskite solar cells (CH3NH3PbY3, where Y = I(3 − x )Br= 1 – 3, I(3 − x )Cl= 1 – 3, Br(3 − x )Clx  = 1 – 3, and IBrCl) are photonic semiconducting materials. Researches on various fundamental and technological aspects of these materials are extensively on‐going to make them stable environmentally and for commercialization. Research studies addressing these materials as organometallic are massively and repeatedly appearing in reputable and high‐profile peer‐reviewed journal publications (viz . Energy and Environmental Science , Nature Chemistry , Nature Communication , Advanced Materials , Science , ACS Nano , ACS Energy Letters , and in many other chemistry and materials based international journals). Herein, I candidly addresses the question: whether should scientists in the perovskite and nanomaterials science communities refer CH3NH3PbY3, as well as other perovskite derivatives falling into the same category, as organometallic?  相似文献

We synthesized and characterized methylammonium (MA) mixed tri‐halide tin perovskites (MASnIBr2−x Clx) for carbon‐based mesoscopic solar cells free of lead and hole‐transporting layers. Varied SnCl2/SnBr2 ratios yielded tin perovskites with three halides (I, Br, and Cl) co‐crystallized inside the tin‐perovskite. When the SnCl2 proportion was ≥50 % (x ≥1), phase separation occurred to give MASnI3−y Bry and MASnCl3−z Brz in the stoichiometric proportions of their precursors, confirmed by XRD. A device with MASnIBr1.8Cl0.2 (SnCl2=10 %) showed the best photovoltaic performance: J SC=14.0 mA cm−2, V OC=380 mV, FF=0.573, and PCE=3.1 %, and long‐term stability. Electrochemical impedance spectra (EIS) show superior charge recombination and dielectric relaxation properties for the MASnIBr1.8Cl0.2 cell. Transient PL decays showed the intrinsic problem of tin‐based perovskites with average lifetimes less than 100 ps.  相似文献

The double perovskite family, A2MIMIIIX6, is a promising route to overcome the lead toxicity issue confronting the current photovoltaic (PV) standout, CH3NH3PbI3. Given the generally large indirect band gap within most known double perovskites, band‐gap engineering provides an important approach for targeting outstanding PV performance within this family. Using Cs2AgBiBr6 as host, band‐gap engineering through alloying of InIII/SbIII has been demonstrated in the current work. Cs2Ag(Bi1−x Mx )Br6 (M=In, Sb) accommodates up to 75 % InIII with increased band gap, and up to 37.5 % SbIII with reduced band gap; that is, enabling ca. 0.41 eV band gap modulation through introduction of the two metals, with smallest value of 1.86 eV for Cs2Ag(Bi0.625Sb0.375)Br6. Band structure calculations indicate that opposite band gap shift directions associated with Sb/In substitution arise from different atomic configurations for these atoms. Associated photoluminescence and environmental stability of the three‐metal systems are also assessed.  相似文献

Despite the great success of perovskite photovoltaics in terms of device efficiency and stability using laboratory-scale spin-coating methods, the demand for high-throughput and cost-effective solutions remains unresolved and rarely reported because of the complicated nature of perovskite crystallization. In this work, we propose a stable precursor ink design strategy to control the solvent volatilization and perovskite crystallization to enable the wide speed window printing (0.3 to 18.0 m/min) of phase-pure FAPbI3 perovskite solar cells (pero-SCs) in ambient atmosphere. The FAPbI3 perovskite precursor ink uses volatile acetonitrile (ACN) as the main solvent with DMF and DMSO as coordination additives is beneficial to improve the ink stability, inhibit the coffee rings, and the complicated intermediate FAPbI3 phases, delivering high-quality pin-hole free and phase-pure FAPbI3 perovskite films with large-scale uniformity. Ultimately, small-area FAPbI3 pero-SCs (0.062 cm2) and large-area modules (15.64 cm2) achieved remarkable efficiencies of 24.32 % and 21.90 %, respectively, whereas the PCE of the devices can be maintained at 23.76 % when the printing speed increases to 18.0 m/min. Specifically, the unencapsulated device exhibits superior operational stability with T90>1350 h. This work represents a step towards the scalable, cost-effective manufacturing of perovskite photovoltaics with both high performance and high throughput.  相似文献

Two‐dimensional (2D) layered hybrid perovskites have shown great potential in optoelectronics, owing to their unique physical attributes. However, 2D hybrid perovskite ferroelectrics remain rare. The first hybrid ferroelectric with unusual 2D multilayered perovskite framework, (C4H9NH3)2(CH3NH3)2Pb3Br10 ( 1 ), has been constructed by tailored alloying of the mixed organic cations into 3D prototype of CH3NH3PbBr3. Ferroelectricity is created through molecular reorientation and synergic ordering of organic moieties, which are unprecedented for the known 2D multilayered hybrid perovskites. Single‐crystal photodetectors of 1 exhibit fascinating performances, including extremely low dark currents (ca. 10−12 A), large on/off current ratios (ca. 2.5×103), and very fast response rate (ca. 150 μs). These merits are superior to integrated detectors of other 2D perovskites, and compete with the most active CH3NH3PbI3.  相似文献

3D and 2D hybrid perovskites, which have been known for more than 20 years, have emerged recently as promising materials for optoelectronic applications, particularly the 3D compound (CH3NH3)PbI3 (MAPI). The discovery of a new family of hybrid perovskites called d ‐MAPI is reported: the association of PbI2 with both methyl ammonium (MA+) and hydroxyethyl ammonium (HEA+) cations leads to a series of five compounds with general formulation (MA)1−2.48x(HEA)3.48x[Pb1−xI3−x]. These materials, which are lead‐ and iodide‐deficient compared to MAPI while retaining 3D architecture, can be considered as a bridge between the 2D and 3D materials. Moreover, they can be prepared as crystallized thin films by spin‐coating. These new 3D materials appear very promising for optoelectronic applications, not only because of their reduced lead content, but also in account of the large flexibility of their chemical composition through potential substitutions of MA+, HEA+, Pb2+ and I ions.  相似文献

Methylammonium (CH3NH3+) and formamidinium ((NH2)2CH+) based lead iodide perovskites are currently the two commonly used organic–inorganic lead iodide perovskites. There are still no alternative organic cations that can produce perovskites with band gaps spanning the visible spectrum (that is, <1.7 eV) for solar cell applications. Now, a new perovskite using large propane‐1,3‐diammonium cation (1,3‐Pr(NH3)22+) with a chemical structure of (1,3‐Pr(NH3)2)0.5PbI3 is demonstrated. X‐ray diffraction (XRD) shows that the new perovskite exhibits a three‐dimensional tetragonal phase. The band gap of the new perovskite is about 1.6 eV, which is desirable for photovoltaic applications. A (1,3‐Pr(NH3)2)0.5PbI3 perovskite solar cell (PSC) yields a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 5.1 %. More importantly, this perovskite is composed of a large hydrophobic cation that provides better moisture resistance compared to CH3NH3PbI3 perovskite.  相似文献

The performance of perovskite solar cells is strongly influenced by the composition and microstructure of the perovskite. A recent approach to improve the power conversion efficiencies utilized mixed‐halide perovskites, but the halide ions and their roles were not directly studied. Unraveling their precise location in the perovskite layer is of paramount importance. Here, we investigated four different perovskites by using X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and found that among the three studied mixed‐halide perovskites, CH3NH3Pb(I0.74Br0.26)3 and CH3NH3PbBr3?xClx show peaks that unambiguously demonstrate the presence of iodide and bromide in the former, and bromide and chloride in the latter. The CH3NH3PbI3?xClx perovskite shows anomalous behavior, the iodide content far outweighs that of the chloride; a small proportion of chloride, in all likelihood, resides deep within the TiO2/absorber layer. Our study reveals that there are many distinguishable structural differences between these perovskites, and that these directly impact the photovoltaic performances.  相似文献

The hydrogenation of Zintl phases enables the formation of new structural entities with main‐group‐element–hydrogen bonds in the solid state. The hydrogenation of SrSi, BaSi, and BaGe yields the hydrides SrSiH5/3−x , BaSiH5/3−x and BaGeH5/3−x . The crystal structures show a sixfold superstructure compared to the parent Zintl phase and were solved by a combination of X‐ray, neutron, and electron diffraction and the aid of DFT calculations. Layers of connected HSr4 (HBa4) tetrahedra containing hydride ions alternate with layers of infinite single‐ and double‐chain polyanions, in which hydrogen atoms are covalently bound to silicon and germanium. The idealized formulae AeTt H5/3 (Ae =alkaline earth, Tt =tetrel) can be rationalized with the Zintl–Klemm concept according to (Ae 2+)3(Tt H)(Tt 2H2−)(H)3, where all Tt atoms are three‐binding. The non‐stoichiometry (SrSiH5/3−x , x =0.17(2); BaGeH5/3−x , x =0.10(3)) can be explained by additional π‐bonding of the Tt chains.  相似文献

Recent reports demonstrate that a two‐dimensional (2D) structural characteristic can endow perovskites with both remarkable photoelectric conversion efficiency and high stability, but the synthesis of ultrathin 2D perovskites with large sizes by facile solution methods is still a challenge. Reported herein is the controlled growth of 2D (C4H9NH3)2PbBr4 perovskites by a chlorobenzene‐dimethylformide‐acetonitrile ternary solvent method. The critical factors, including solvent volume ratio, crystallization temperature, and solvent polarity on the growth dynamics were systematically studied. Under optimum reaction condition, 2D (C4H9NH3)2PbBr4 perovskites, with the largest lateral dimension of up to 40 μm and smallest thickness down to a few nanometers, were fabricated. Furthermore, various iodine doped 2D (C4H9NH3)2PbBrx I4−x perovskites were accessed to tune the optical properties rationally.  相似文献

LaMnO3-based perovskites are used as cathode materials in solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC). A major aspect for their applicability is their chemical inertness in connection with the electrolyte material YSZ (Zr0.85Y0.15O1.93) against zirconate formations. Perovskites with the composition Lay-x(Sr, Ca)xMn1-uCouO3 (y = 1.0 and 0.95; x = 0– 0.2 and 1; u = 0 and 0.2) were investigated with regard to their reactivity with YSZ at different reaction times and temperatures. Powder mixtures and double-layer reaction couples were used for the investigations. XRD phase analyses, SEM/EDX and EPMA were applied for the characterization of the annealed samples. La-deficient perovskites (y = 0.95) partially substituted by Sr and Ca improve the chemical compatibility of perovskite compositions towards YSZ. Sr-containing perovskites were found to have a higher reactivity than Ca perovskites for La2Zr2O7 formation. On the other hand enhanced Ca diffusion into YSZ was observed. Co substitution on Mn lattice sites decreased the chemical compatibility, especially for Sr containing perovskites.  相似文献

Formamidinium (FA) lead iodide perovskite materials feature promising photovoltaic performances and superior thermal stabilities. However, conversion of the perovskite α‐FAPbI3 phase to the thermodynamically stable yet photovoltaically inactive δ‐FAPbI3 phase compromises the photovoltaic performance. A strategy is presented to address this challenge by using low‐dimensional hybrid perovskite materials comprising guaninium (G) organic spacer layers that act as stabilizers of the three‐dimensional α‐FAPbI3 phase. The underlying mode of interaction at the atomic level is unraveled by means of solid‐state nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, X‐ray crystallography, transmission electron microscopy, molecular dynamics simulations, and DFT calculations. Low‐dimensional‐phase‐containing hybrid FAPbI3 perovskite solar cells are obtained with improved performance and enhanced long‐term stability.  相似文献

Ternary hybrid perovskite solid solutions have shown superior optoelectronic properties and better stability than their ABX3 simple perovskite counterparts under ambient conditions. However, crystal growth and identification of the accurate composition of these complex crystalline compounds remain challenging, and their stability under extreme conditions such as in highly moist atmosphere is unknown. Herein, large-size (up to 2 cm) single crystals of ternary perovskite 0.80FAPbI3 ⋅ x′FAPbBr3 ⋅ y′CsPbI3 (x′+y′=0.20) are grown. An elemental analysis method based on wavelength dispersive X-ray fluorescence is proposed to determine their accurate compositions. Among these single crystals, the composition with y′=0.12 shows the best moisture stability at 90 % relative humidity for 15 days. Other components with richer or poorer Cs+ ions undergo different phase segregation behaviours. The performance and stability of photodetectors based on these single crystals are tested. This work offers a deeper insight into phase stability of ternary hybrid perovskite solid solution crystals in highly moist atmosphere.  相似文献

Zero‐dimensional (0D) lead‐free perovskites have unique structures and optoelectronic properties. Undoped and Sb‐doped all inorganic, lead‐free, 0D perovskite single crystals A2InCl5(H2O) (A=Rb, Cs) are presented that exhibit greatly enhanced yellow emission. To study the effect of coordination H2O, Sb‐doped A3InCl6 (A=Rb, Cs) are also synthesized and further studied. The photoluminescence (PL) color changes from yellow to green emission. Interestingly, the photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY) realizes a great boost from <2 % to 85–95 % through doping Sb3+. We further explore the effect of Sb3+ dopants and the origin of bright emission by ultrafast transient absorption techniques. Furthermore, Sb‐doped 0D rubidium indium chloride perovskites show excellent stability. These findings not only provide a way to design a set of new high‐performance 0D lead‐free perovskites, but also reveal the relationship between structure and PL properties.  相似文献

We demonstrate that an ordered 2D perovskite can significantly boost the photoelectric performance of 2D/3D perovskite heterostructures. Using selective fluorination of phenyl-ethyl ammonium (PEA) lead iodide to passivate 3D FA0.8Cs0.2PbI3, we find that the 2D/3D perovskite heterostructures passivated by a higher ordered 2D perovskite have lower Urbach energy, yielding a remarkable increase in photoluminescence (PL) intensity, PL lifetime, charge-carrier mobilities (ϕμ), and carrier diffusion length (LD) for a certain 2D perovskite content. High performance with an ultralong PL lifetime of ≈1.3 μs, high ϕμ of ≈18.56 cm2 V−1 s−1, and long LD of ≈7.85 μm is achieved in the 2D/3D films when passivated by 16.67 % para-fluoro-PEA2PbI4. This carrier diffusion length is comparable to that of some perovskite single crystals (>5 μm). These findings provide key missing information on how the organic cations of 2D perovskites influence the performance of 2D/3D perovskite heterostructures.  相似文献

Two-dimensional hybrid halide perovskites with single chiral and ferroelectricity together with various structural phase transitions provide the possibility for more diverse functional properties. Here, we present a 2D chiral hybrid halide perovskite ferroelectric, [C6H5(CH2)4NH3]2CdCl4 (4PBA−CdCl4, 4PBA=4-phenylbutylamine) that experiences two continuous phase transitions from centrosymmetric triclinic P to polar chiral monoclinic P2 and then to another centrosymmetric tetragonal P4/mmm with increasing temperature, accompanied by symmetry breaking, due to the prominent octahedral distortion and disorder transformation of organic 4PBA cations. In the polar chiral phase, 4PBA−CdCl4 gives a significant CD signal and has a moderate ferroelectric polarization of 0.35 μC/cm2. In addition, 4PBA−CdCl4 occupies a wide band gap of 4.376 eV that is chiefly contributed by the inorganic CdCl6 octahedron. This finding offers an alternative pathway for designing new phase transitions and related physical properties in hybrid halide perovskites and other hybrid crystals.  相似文献
