A spacelike surface M in 3-dimensional de sitter space S13 or 3-dimensional anti-de Sitter space H13 is called isoparametric, if M has constant principal curvatures. A timelike surface is called isoparametric, if its minimal polynomial of the shape operator is constant. In this paper we study the cohomogeneity one de Sitter space S1 n. We consider the actions in both proper and non-proper cases. In the first case we characterize the acting groups and orbits and we prove that the orbit space is homeomorphic to R. In the latter case we determine the groups and consequently the orbits in some different cases and prove that the orbit space is not Hausdorff. 相似文献

Let M^n be a closed spacelike submanifold isometrically immersed in de Sitter space Sp^(n p)(c), Denote by R,H and S the normalized scalar curvature,the mean curvature and the square of the length of the second fundamental form of M^n ,respectively. Suppose R is constant and R≤c. The pinching problem on S is studied and a rigidity theorem for M^n immersed in Sp^(n p)(c) with parallel normalized mean curvature vector field is proved. When n≥3, the pinching constant is the best. Thus, the mistake of the paper “Space-like hypersurfaces in de Sitter space with constant scalar curvature”(see Manus Math, 1998,95 :499-505) is corrected. Moreover,the reduction of the codimension when M^n is a complete submanifold in Sp^(n p)(c) with parallel normalized mean curvature vector field is investigated. 相似文献

Let M be an n(≥3)-dimensional completely non-compact spacelike hypersurface in the de Sitter space S1 (n+1) (1) with constant mean curvature and non negative sectional curvature. It is proved that M is isometric to a hyperbolic cylinder or an Euclidean space if H ≥1. When 2(n-1)~(1.2)/n < H < 1, there exists a complete rotation hypersurfaces which is not a hyperbolic cylinder. 相似文献

In this article, we give the area formula of the closed projection curve of a closed space curve in Lorentzian 3-space L3. For the 1-parameter closed Lorentzian space motion in L3, we obtain a Holditch Theorem taking into account the Lorentzian matrix multiplication for the closed space curves by using their othogonal projections onto the Euclidean plane in the fixed Lorentzian space. Moreover, we generalize this Holditch Theorem for noncollinear three fixed points of the moving Lorentzian space and any other fixed point on the plane which is determined by these three fixed points. 相似文献

The eventually distance minimizing ray(EDM ray) in moduli spaces of the Riemann surfaces of analytic finite type with 3 g + n-3 0 is studied, which was introduced by Farb and Masur [5]. The asymptotic distance of EDM rays in a moduli space and the distance of end points of EDM rays in the boundary of the moduli space in the augmented moduli space are discussed in this article. A relation between the asymptotic distance of EDM rays and the distance of their end points is established. It is proved also that the distance of end points of two EDM rays is equal to that of end points of two Strebel rays in the Teichmu¨ller space of a covering Riemann surface which are leftings of some representatives of the EDM rays. Meanwhile, simpler proofs for some known results are given. 相似文献

In this paper we study the complete space-like λ-surfaces in the three dimensional Minkowski space R1^3.As the result,we obtain a complete classification theorem for all the complete space-like λ-surfaces x:M^2→R1^3 with the second fundamental form of constant length.This is a natural extension to the λ-surfaces in R1^3 of a recent interesting classification theorem by Cheng and Wei forλ-surfaces in the Euclidean space R^3. 相似文献

We investigate the Klein–Gordon equation on the Poincaré patch of the 5-dimensional Anti-de Sitter universe. Despite the loss of the global hyperbolicity, the Cauchy problem is well-posed in the space of the finite energy data. We establish several results of asymptotic behaviours. The aim of this paper is to prove a positive energy-momentum theorem under the (well known in general relativity) dominant
energy condition, for AdS-asymptotically hyperbolic manifolds. These manifolds are by definition endowed with a Riemannian
metric and a symmetric 2-tensor which respectively tend to the metric and second fundamental form of a standard hyperbolic
slice in Anti-de Sitter space-time. There exists a positive mass theorem for asymptotically hyperbolic spin Riemannian manifolds
(with zero extrinsic curvature), and we present an extension of this result for the non zero extrinsic curvature case.

In this paper, we determine the type numbers of the pseudo-hyperbolic Gauss maps of all oriented Lorentzian surfaces of constant mean and Gaussian curvatures and non-diagonalizable shape operator in the 3-dimensional anti-de Sitter space. We define the notions of lightcone Gauss images of spacelike hypersurfaces in de Sitter space. We investigate the relationships between singularities of these maps and geometric properties of spacelike hypersurfaces as an application of the theory of Legendrian singularities.
