Synthesis of substituted 2-ethyl-3-(4-hydrazinocarbonylphenyl)-4-quinazo-lones and 2-ethyl-3-(4-hydrazinocarbonylmethylphenyl)-4-quinazolones

Some substituted 2-ethyl-3-(4-hydrazinocarbonylphenyl)-4-quinazolones and 2-ethyl-3-(4-hydrazinocarbonylmethylphenyl)-4-quinazolones were synthesized and characterized by their sharp melting points, elemental analyses and spectral data.

Synthesis of methyl 4-aryl-2-{[4-(carbamimidoylsulfamoyl)- phenyl]amino}-4-oxobut-2-enoates

Methyl aroylpyruvates reacted with 4-amino-N-carbamimidoylbenzene-1-sulfonamide in acetic acid–ethanol (1: 1) to give methyl 4-aryl-2-{[4-(carbamimidoylsulfamoyl)phenyl]amino}-4-oxobut-2-enoates which were found to exist in solution as mixtures of Z and E isomers.

Nitro-substituted 2-phenyl- and 2-(2-tosylaminophenyl)-4H-3,1-benzoxazin-4-one

Nitro-substituted 2-phenyl- and 2-(2-tosylaminophenyl)-4H-3,1-benzoxazin-4-ones were synthesized. The UV, IR, and luminescence spectra were studied. The position of the nitro group affects the strength of the intramolecular hydrogen bond (IHB). The luminescence properties of nitro-substituted 2-(2-tosylaminophenyl)-4H-3,1-benzoxazin-4-ones are associated with the strength of the IHB. 4H-3,1-Benzoxazin-4-ones methoxy-substituted 2-(2-arenesulfonylaminophenyl)-4H-3,1-benzoxazin-4-ones

Methoxy-substituted 2-(2-tosylaminophenyl)-4H-3,1-benzoxazin-4-one and 2-phenyl-4H-3,1-benzoxazin-4-one were synthesized. Their UV, IR, and luminescence spectra were studied. The position of the methoxy group affects the strength of the intramolecular hydrogen bond (IHB). The luminescence properties of methoxy-substituted 2-(2-tosylaminophenyl)-4H-3,1-benzoxazin-4-ones are associated with the strength of the IHB. 1- and 2-(4-Hydroxycarbonylphenyl)-4-oxo-4,5,6,7-tetrahydroindazoles

Reactions of 4-hydrazinobenzoic acid with 2-formyl- and 2-acetyldimedones were utilized to synthesize 6,6-dimethyl- and 3,6,6-trimethyl-1-(4-hydroxycarbonylphenyl)-4-oxo-4,5,6,7-tetrahydroindazoles corre-spondingly, and the reaction with 2-cyano-3-ethoxy-5,5-dimethylcyclohex-2-en-1-one gave 2-(4-hydroxy-carbonylphenyl)-3-amino-4-oxo-6,6-dimethyl-4,5,6,7-tetrahydroindazole. Synthesis of substituted in benzene ring 4-[(2-aminophenyl)thio]-, 4-[(2-mercaptophenyl)amino]-2-methylquinolines and (4E)-4-[(2-mercaptophenyl)imino]-2-methyl-1,4-dihydroquinolines

By a reaction of 2-methyl-4-chloroquinolines with o-mercaptoaniline under various conditions synteses were performed of substituted in the benzene ring 4-[(2-aminophenyl)thio]-2-methylquinolines and (4E)-4-[(2-mercaptophenyl)imino]-2-methyl-1,4-dihydroquinolines that were respectively by isomerization or rearrangement converted into 4-[(2-mercaptophenyl)amino]-2-methylquinolines.
