On Uniqueness of Meromorphic Functions That Share Two Values

A problem of meromorphic functions that share two values is discussed, and two results recently obtained respectively by Yi H. X. and Song G. D. ＆ Li N. are improved.     

Uniqueness of entire functions sharing an entire function of smaller order with their derivatives

In this paper, we prove some uniqueness theorems of entire functions and their derivatives that share an entire of function whose order is less than their order. The results in this paper improve those given by G. G. Gundersen and L. Z. Yang, J. P. Wang, J. M. Chang, and Y. Z. Zhu, X. M. Li and H. X. Yi, and others. Some examples are provided to show that the results in this paper are the best possible.     

On the characteristics of meromorphic functions with three weighted sharing values

In this paper, we deal with the relation between the characteristic function of two nonconstant meromorphic functions with three weighted sharing values, which improves a result given by H.X. Yi and Y.H. Li. From this we establish a theorem which improves a result given by P. Li and C.C. Yang.

This paper studies the uniqueness problem on entire function that share a finite, nonzero value with their linear differential polynomials and proves some theorems which generalize some results given by Jank, Mues and Volkmann, P. Li, J.P. Wang and H.X. Yi.

Weighted sharing of meromorphic functions relative to small functions

Using the idea of weighted sharing, we prove some results on uniqueness of meromorphic functions with three weighted sharing values. The results in this paper improve those given by H.X. Yi, T.C. Alzahary and H.X. Yi, T.C. Alzahary, I. Lahiri and N. Mandal, and other authors.     

A new lower bound on the strong connectivity of an oriented graph. Application to diameters with a particular case related to Caccetta Häggkvist conjecture

In this paper, by using minimum out-degree and minimum in-degree, we give a new lower bound on the vertex-strong connectivity of an oriented graph. In the case of a tournament, our lower bound improves that of Thomassen obtained in 1980 and which use the notion of irregularity (see [C. Thomassen, Hamiltonian-connected tournaments, J. Combin. Theory Ser. B 28 (1980) 142–163]). As application, we determine a pertinent upper bound on the diameter of some oriented graphs, and in a particular case, related to Caccetta Häggkvist conjecture, we improve a result of Broersma and Li obtained in 2002 (see [H.J. Broersma, X. Li, Some approaches to a conjecture on short cycles in digraphs, Discrete Appl. Math. 120 (2002) 45–53]).     

Results on L-functions and certain uniqueness questions of Gross

In this paper, we study the value distribution of L-functions in the Selberg class and concentrate on the uniqueness questions of L-functions that share one or two sets with an arbitrary meromorphic function. The results obtained in this paper improve the recent results due to Q.-Q. Yuan, X.-M. Li, and H.-X. Yi [Value distribution of L-functions and uniqueness questions of F. Gross, Lith. Math. J., 58(2):249–262, 2018] and also extend a result due to B.Q. Li [A result on value distribution of L-functions, Proc. Am. Math. Soc., 138(6):2071–2077, 2010].

Nowhere-zero 3-flows in Cayley graphs on generalized dihedral group and generalized quaternion group

Tutte conjectured that every 4-edge-connected graph admits a nowhere-zero 3-flow. In this paper, we show that this conjecture is true for Cayley graph on generalized dihedral groups and generalized quaternion groups, which generalizes the result of F. Yang and X. Li [Inform. Process. Lett., 2011, 111: 416–419]. We also generalizes an early result of M. Nánásiová and M. ?koviera [J. Algebraic Combin., 2009, 30: 103–110].     

On a question of Gross

Using the notion of weighted sharing of sets we prove two uniqueness theorems which improve the results proved by Fang and Qiu [H. Qiu, M. Fang, A unicity theorem for meromorphic functions, Bull. Malaysian Math. Sci. Soc. 25 (2002) 31-38], Lahiri and Banerjee [I. Lahiri, A. Banerjee, Uniqueness of meromorphic functions with deficient poles, Kyungpook Math. J. 44 (2004) 575-584] and Yi and Lin [H.X. Yi, W.C. Lin, Uniqueness theorems concerning a question of Gross, Proc. Japan Acad. Ser. A 80 (2004) 136-140] and thus provide an answer to the question of Gross [F. Gross, Factorization of meromorphic functions and some open problems, in: Proc. Conf. Univ. Kentucky, Lexington, KY, 1976, in: Lecture Notes in Math., vol. 599, Springer, Berlin, 1977, pp. 51-69], under a weaker hypothesis.

In this paper, we deal with a uniqueness theorem of two meromorphic functions that have three weighted sharing values and a sharing set with two elements. The results in this paper improve those given by G. Brosch, K. Tohge, T.C. Alzahary and H.X. Yi and other authors.

Small functions and weighted sharing three values

This article studies the problem of the uniqueness of meromorphic functions that weighted sharing three values which improve some results given by Yi [Theorem 4, Yi, H.X., 1995, Unicity theorems for meromorphic functions that share three values. Kodai Mathematical Journal, 18, 300-314] and Ueda [Ueda, H., 1983, Unicity theorems for meromorphic or entire functions II. Kodai Mathematical Journal, 6, 26-36] and other authors. An application of these new results, if f and g are two distinct nonconstant meromorphic functions sharing 0, 1 and CM, and a is a nonconstant rational function, then N2)(r,1/(g-a))= [image omitted] An example shows that the latter result is not true for some transcendental small functions of f and g.

Entire functions sharing polynomials with their first derivatives

In this paper we estimate the size of the ρ_n’s in the famous L. Zalcman’s Lemma. With it, we obtain a uniqueness theorem for entire functions and their first derivatives, which improves and generalizes the related results of Rubel and Yang and of Li and Yi. Some examples are provided to show the sharpness of our result. As an application, we prove that R. Brück’s conjecture is true for a class of functions.
