We show that a wide class of non-central potentials can be analysed via the improved picture of the Nikiforov- Uvarov method [Physica Scripta 75 (2007) 686]. It has been shown that using the alternative approach, polynomial solutions of three-dimensional separable non-central potential can be obtained.  相似文献

We investigate the nonlinear Landau-Zener tunnelling of Bose-Einstein condensate (BEC) in an accelerating optical lattice with two- and three-body interactions between the particles. The influence of the three-body interaction on the eigenstates and the transition probability are discussed both anaJytically and numerically. The analytical eigenstates and the tunnelling probability are obtained, which are verified by numerical methods. It is shown that the eigenstates and the tunnelling probability are modified dramatically by three-body interaction.  相似文献

We address the question of which phase space functionals might represent a quantum state. We derive necessary and sufficient conditions for both pure and mixed phase space quantum states. From the pure state quantum condition we obtain a formula for the momentum correlations of arbitrary order and derive explicit expressions for the wave functions in terms of time-dependent and independent Wigner functions. We show that the pure state quantum condition is preserved by the Moyal (but not by the classical Liouville) time evolution and is consistent with a generic stargenvalue equation. As a by-product Baker's converse construction is generalized both to an arbitrary stargenvalue equation, associated to a generic phase space symbol, as well as to the time-dependent case. These results are properly extended to the mixed state quantum condition, which is proved to imply the Heisenberg uncertainty relations. Globally, this formalism yields the complete characterization of the kinematical structure of Wigner quantum mechanics. The previous results are then succinctly generalized for various quasi-distributions. Finally, the formalism is illustrated through the simple examples of the harmonic oscillator and the free Gaussian wave packet. As a by-product, we obtain in the former example an integral representation of the Hermite polynomials.  相似文献

The formal solution of a general stargenvalue equation is presented, its properties studied and a geometrical interpretation given in terms of star-hypersurfaces in quantum phase space. Our approach deals with discrete and continuous spectra in a unified fashion and includes a systematic treatment of nondiagonal stargenfunctions. The formalism is used to obtain a complete formal solution of Wigner quantum mechanics in the Heisenberg picture and to write a general formula for the stargenfunctions of Hamiltonians quadratic in the phase space variables in arbitrary dimension. The solvable quantum mechanical model for the relativistic two-body system composed of spin-1/2 and spin-0 particles is constructed. The model includes the oscillator-type interaction through a combination of Lorentz-vector and Lorentz-tensor potentials. In this paper we consider a neutral spinning particle in interaction with a linear increasing rotating magnetic field and a scalar harmonic potential using the path integral formalism. The Pauli matrices which describe the spin dynamics are replaced by two fermionic oscillators via the Schwinger’s model. The calculations are carried out explicitly using fermionic exterior current sources. The problem is then reduced to that of a spinning forced harmonic particle whose spin is coupled to exterior derivative current sources. The result of the propagator is given as a series which is exactly summed up by means of the Laplace transformation and the use of some recurrence formula of the oscillator wave functions. The energy spectrum and the corresponding wave functions are also deduced.  相似文献

We study quantum wave packet revivals on two-dimensional infinite circular quantum wells (CQWs) and circular quantum dots with position-dependent mass (PDM) envisaging a possible experimental realization. We consider CQWs with radially varying mass, addressing particularly the cases where M(r)∝rw with w=1,2, or −2. The two PDM Hamiltonians currently allowed by theory were analyzed and we were able to construct a strong theoretical argument favoring one of them.  相似文献

We develop a five-well model for describing the tunnelling dynamics of Bose-Einstein condensates (BECs) trapped in 2D optical lattices. The tunnelling dynamics of BECs in this five-well model are investigated both analytically and numerically. We focus on the self-trapped states and the difference of the tunnelling dynamics among two- well, three-well and five-well systems. The criterions for the self-trapped states and the phase diagrams of the five trapped BECs in zero-phase mode and π-phase mode are obtained. We find that the criterions and the phase diagrams are largely modified by the dimension of the system and the phase difference 5etween wells. The five-well model is a good model and can give us an insight into the tunnelling dynamics of BECs trapped in 2D optical lattices.  相似文献

The dynamics and stabilities of Bose-Einstein condensate (BEC) trapped in a deep one-dimensional periodic optical lattices with three-body interactions are investigated. By using the tight-binding approximation, the Bloch and the Bogoliubov excitation stabilities and the dynamics of the BEC wavepacket with the effects of the three-body interactions are studied. The critical conditions for occurrence of the dynamical/Landau instabilities, self-trapping/diffusion/breather of wavepacket, and localized soliton are obtained analytically. The results show that the boundaries of the dynamical instability and Landau instability are modified significantly due to the presence of the three-body interactions. It is also revealed that, the initial wavepacket width, the initial momentum, especially, the strength of the three-body force have strong effect on the critical conditions which are used to describe the dynamics of the wavepacket. It is shown that the regions of self-trapping, diffusion, and breather for BEC wavepacket in the parameter space are modified dramatically by the three-body interactions. The analytical results are confirmed by the direct numerical solutions of the discrete GPE.  相似文献

We investigate a Heisenberg spin cluster with two particles controlled by a time-dependent magnetic field. The system is controlled by tuning the amplitude, frequency, and interaction time of the three-step time-dependent magnetic field. Then we solve the time-dependent Schrodinger equation of the two-particle system, and obtain the time evolution operator. By the three-timestep interaction, the wavefunction evolves from the initial state to the final state, and the total evolution operator can be expressed as a product of the three evolution operators. By adjusting the physical parameters, the key two-qubit logic gate, the C-Not gate, can be realized physically.  相似文献

We use the tools of the J-matrix method to evaluate the S-matrix and then deduce the bound and resonance states energies for singular screened Coulomb potentials, both analytic and piecewise differentiable. The J-matrix approach allows us to absorb the 1/r singularity of the potential in the reference Hamiltonian, which is then handled analytically. The calculation is performed using an infinite square integrable basis that supports a tridiagonal matrix representation for the reference Hamiltonian. The remaining part of the potential, which is bound and regular everywhere, is treated by an efficient numerical scheme in a suitable basis using Gauss quadrature approximation. To exhibit the power of our approach we have considered the most delicate region close to the bound-unbound transition and compared our results favorably with available numerical data.  相似文献

In this paper, the Feynman path integral technique is applied to two-dimensional spaces of nonconstant curvature: these spaces are called Darboux spaces D I-D IV. We start each consideration in terms of the metric and then analyze the quantum theory in the separable coordinate systems. The path integral in each case is formulated and then solved in the majority of cases; the exceptions being the quartic oscillators where no closed solution is known. The required ingredients are the path integral solutions of the linear potential, the harmonic oscillator, the radial harmonic oscillator, the modified Pöschl-Teller potential, and the spheroidal wave functions. The basic path integral solutions, which appear here in a complicated way, have been developed in recent work and are known. The final solutions are represented in terms of the corresponding Green’s functions and the expansions into the wave functions. We also sketch some limiting cases of the Darboux spaces, where spaces of constant negative and zero curvature emerge.  相似文献

We study phase synchronization in oscillator networks through phase reduced method. The dynamics of networks is reduced to phase equations by this method. Analysing the phase equations through the master stability function method, one obtains that the oscillators with identical frequency can be in-phase synchronized by weak balanced coupling. Similarly, the problem of frequency synchronization of oscillators with different frequencies is transformed to the existence of a locally asymptotically stable equilibrium of the phase error system.  相似文献

In this Letter, the combined dispersion equation was solved by the sub-equation method. In a recent paper by Barton [G. Barton, J. Phys. A: Math. Gen. 40 (2007) 1011], the 1-dimensional Klein-Gordon equation was solved analytically for the non-singular Coulomb-like potential V1(|x|)=−α/(|x|+a). In the present Letter, these results are completely confirmed by a numerical formulation that also allows a solution for an alternative cut-off Coulomb potential V2(|x|)=−α/|x|, |x|>a, and otherwise V2(|x|)=−α/a.  相似文献

The average transmission probability of a one-dimensional mesoscopic ring is calculated for arbitrary disorder strength. With increasing disorder the dependence on the magnetic flux changes from 0 to 0/2 periodicity. A supersymmetric method is used for the calculation which leads to the quantum mechanics in super-space of an anharmonic oscillator with hyperbolic symmetry. As a byproduct the transmission of a mesoscopic wire is obtained.
