在非对称的光腔中,我们提出了一个利用自然非均匀展宽的原子系综实现高效量子存储方案.在这个存储方案里我们使用了类似于传统光子回声技术中强π脉冲,而不是烧孔技术.这使得我们的方案可以在更多的材料体系中实现.在阻抗匹配的条件下,我们发现进入光腔的光脉冲可以完全被原子系综吸收.而且在光深度很小时,量子存储效率就可以达到1.  相似文献

本文提出了一个在光腔中利用可控逆非均匀展宽技术实现高效的量子存储方案.当光场在光腔中每次往返的吸收与透射到光腔中光场强度完全一样时(阻抗匹配条件),发现进入光腔中的光场可以完全被非均匀展宽原子系综吸收.通过计算得到无论是向前读取还是向后读取的方案,量子存储效率在光深度很小时都可以达到1.若没有光腔100%的存储效率仅仅只有在光深度无穷大时才能得到.在光深度很小时就能达到高效的量子存储在实验上非常容易实现.因此该方案为实验上实现高效的量子存储提供一个确实可行的方法.  相似文献

本文提出了一个利用光子回声技术探究非均匀展宽频谱线形(如高斯、洛伦兹分布)对存储效率影响的简捷方法。我们发现当信号光脉冲的持续时间与介质频谱线宽的乘积远大于1时,可将分布函数的傅里叶变换近似成狄拉克函数,使得研究非均匀展宽频谱对存储效率的影响变得非常容易;通过计算发现不同线形分布达到最佳存储效率的光学深度有所不同,频谱线形趋于均匀时达到最优存储效率的存储介质光学深度最小。该研究对实验上实现最优化光量子态存储具有指导意义。  相似文献

We propose a scheme to implement two-bit .quantum phase gates and one-bit unitary gates by using the two- mode two-photon Jaynes Cummings model. We study cold bosonic atoms on a two-dimensional inhomogeneous optical lattice with site-dependent atomic interactions. With the tight-binding approximation, we derive the extended Bose–Hubbard model. Base on the mean-field approximation, the ground states are solved by the exact diagonalization method. We calculate the mean-field order parameter and particle number density for the ground states. We find the coexistence of superfluid phase and Mott-insulator phase on the two-dimensional inhomogeneous optical lattice in appropriate parameter ranges.  相似文献

A cavity quantum electrodynamics scheme for implementing the deterministic quantum information splitting of an arbitrary three-atom state is proposed. In the scheme, a genuine five-atom entangled state and a Bell-state can be used as the quantum channel, which does not involve Bell-state measurement and only needs to perform the single-atom measurements. Our scheme is insensitive to both the cavity decay and the atom radiation, and considered here is secure against certain eavesdropping attacks.  相似文献

In this work we obtain a family of quantum nondemolition variables for the case of a particle moving in an inhomogeneous gravitational field. Afterwards, we calculate the corresponding propagator, and deduce the probabilities associated with the possible measurement outputs. The possibility of a super-resolution optical memory using a photochromic mask layer was theoretically discussed. An equation which estimates the transmittance change of the mask layer was derived. The numerical simulation based on the equation showed that the reflectance increase of the layer by photo-irradiation is nonlinear when the optical density of the layer is high. The nonlinear response decreased the crosstalk in adjacent recording tracks and improved the MTF (modulation transfer function) characteristics, resulting in a higher recording density.  相似文献

具备有效存储和读取光的相干态的能力是实现连续变量量子信息存储的关键。本文研究了利用混合光子回声技术对光场的相干态进行存储和读取。光量子态被记录在原子系综的基态的两个相干能级中从而实现长时间的量子态存储。考虑到由于原子退相干的噪声效应,我们发现在目前可实现的技术条件下存储保真度仍然高于保真度阈值2/3。我们的研究为实现高效准确的基于量子回声技术的光量子态存储提供了一些切实可行的实践指导。  相似文献

In this paper we mainly discuss the ground state properties of the two-mode Dicke model, which is realized in an ensemble of two-level atoms interacting simultaneously with two quantized cavity fields. We reveal rich phase diagrams and discover the second-order quantum phase transition from the normal phase to the superradiant phase by means of the spin-coherent-state variational method. While the critical phase transition point can be shifted by the detuning of the cavity mode or the atom-field coupling imbalance parameter. The collective atom-field coupling imbalance parameter can make the phase transition point symmetrically shift left or right in the resonance or non-resonance. If the two collective atom-photon coupling strengths are not equal in the resonance, the system may be in different phases, while the phases occupied are completely symmetrical. When one of the coupling constants vanishes or two couplings are equal, the ground-states’s properties and related QPT reduce to that of a standard or an ordinary Dicke model.

In this paper we investigate the dynamics of physical properties of the system introduced in Dimer et al. (Phys. Rev. A 75, 013804, 2007) and Zhao et al. (Phys. Rev. A 90, 023622, 2014) consisting of an ensemble of four-level atoms in Bose-Einstein condensate (BEC) state and a single-mode quantized field in which nonlinear interaction is taken into account. In fact, we start with a four-level atom and then explain how this model can be reduced to an effective two-level one via the adiabatic elimination. Also, our presentation is free of any classical approximation and so it is fully quantized. In this regard, we introduce the dynamical Hamiltonian of the system in terms of angular momentum operators and use the Dicke model to achieve the state of atomic sub-system. After obtaining the analytical solution of the state vector associated with the quantized BEC-field system, various physical properties such as atomic population inversion, quantum statistics of the field, squeezing in atomic and field subsystems as well as the degree of entanglement between the “BEC atoms” and the “photons” are numerically evaluated. It is shown that, the nonlinear interaction and other involved parameters in the presented model can dramatically affect the dynamics of the system. The collapse-revival phenomenon in the population inversion, Mandel parameter and atomic squeezing is a superb feature of the system which can be controlled by tuning the chosen parameters. Meanwhile, we propose an efficient way for the generation of sub-Poissonian and squeezed fields as well as squeezed atoms via nonlinear interaction of quantized filed with atomic BEC. In addition, it is found that, after the onset of interaction the system is always entangled. Altogether, under particular conditions, the approximated sudden death and then revival of entanglement can be observed.

We present a simple method to realize a swap gate at one step with two molecular ensembles in a stripline cavity. In this scheme, we can benefit from the enhancement of the coherent coupling and acquire a long coherent time with encoding qubits in different spin states of the rotational ground state in the molecular ensembles. As a by-product, a scheme to create an entangled state with one excitation stored in two ensembles is proposed.  相似文献
