The interlaminar stresses and deflections in a laminated rectangular plate under thermal bending were determined by using the generalized differential quadrature method involving the effect of shear deformation. The approximate stress and deflection solutions are obtained under the bending of sinusoidal temperature of thermal load for layer in cross-ply laminates and angle-ply laminates. Numerical results show that the shear deformation has significant effects on the dominant interlaminar stresses and deflections in the laminated plate of thermal bending analysis.  相似文献

利用小波微分求积法(WDQM)对任意荷载作用下的薄板弯曲问题进行了求解分析。数值算例表明,小波微分求积法与一般的DQ法相比具有很好的适用性,特别是薄板受集中荷载或不连续分布荷载作用时,由于小波基函数的紧支撑特性与其对突变信号良好的描述能力,WDQ法的精度明显优于一般的DQ法,具有良好的应用前景。  相似文献

The interlaminar stresses in a thin laminated rectangular orthotropic plate with four sides simply supported edges under bending was determined by using the generalized differential quadrature (GDQ) method involving the effects of thermal expansion strain and transverse load. The approximate stress and displacement solutions are obtained under the effects of thermal expansion force and uniform pressure load for eight-layer unidirectional laminates, symmetric cross-ply laminates. Numerical results on the dominant interlaminar stresses and displacement of bending analysis are compared to the Navier solution. The thermal induced forces have significant effect on the bending of plates.  相似文献

Based on the Reddy ‘s theory of plates with the effect of higher-order shear deformations, the governing equations for bending of orthotropic plates with finite deformations were established. The differential quadrature ( DQ ) method of nonlinear analysis to the problem was presented. New DQ approach, presented by Wang and Bert ( DQWB), is extended to handle the multiple boundary conditions of plates. The techniques were also further extended to simplify nonlinear computations. The numerical convergence and comparison of solutions were studied. The results show that the DQ method presented is very reliable and valid. Moreover, the influences of geometric and material parameters as well as the transverse shear deformations on nonlinear bending were investigated. Numerical results show the influence of the shear deformation on the static bending of orthotropic moderately thick plate is significant.  相似文献

A series boundary integration method is given which exactly satisfies the fundamental equation of bending analysis of general anisotropic plates or laminated plates in Kirchhoffs sense. With a unified deflection series, the method may be applied to the plates having different planforms and support conditions. Several groups of representative examples are calculated. The examples include circular, square and triangular plates, and their boundaries include clamped edges, simply supported edges, free edges and free corner. Numerical results indicate rapid convergency for both deflection and stress resultants and demonstrate wide applicability of the method.This subject was supported by the Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province.  相似文献

Summary The nonlinear bending theory for symmetrically laminated elliptical plates exhibiting rectilinear orthotropy with transverse shear deformation is developed. Using Galerkin's method, the paper solves the problem of large deflections for plates under uniform lateral pressure. The special case of symmetrically laminated rectilinearly orthotropic circular plates is also discussed. Analytical solutions obtained may be applied directly to the design of engineering structures. In this study, elastic large deflection analysis of axisymmetric ring-stiffened circular and annular general angle-ply laminated plates subjected to transverse uniform load is studied. Based on first order shear deformation theory (FSDT) and large deflection von-Karman relations, the governing equations are derived. The dynamic relaxation (DR) method in conjunction with the central finite difference discretization technique is used to solve the nonlinear equilibrium equations. A detailed parametric study is carried out to investigate the influences of plate thicknesses, stiffener width, stiffener depth, fiber orientation, stacking sequence and different types of boundary conditions. Also, some linear and nonlinear analysis is provided to consider the effect of nonlinearity on the results.  相似文献

We used the generalized differential quadrature (GDQ) method to compute the transient response of thermal stresses and center displacement in laminated magnetostrictive plates under thermal vibration. We obtained the GDQ solutions in a three-layer (0°m/90°/0) and a 10-layer (0°m/90°/0°/90°/0)s laminated magnetostrictive plate with four simply supported edges. We presented the transient responses of thermal stress and center displacement with and without velocity feedback control, respectively. The advantage of the GDQ method used provide us with an efficient method to compute the results including shear deformation effect with a few grid points. These GDQ results had its potential that could be used and considered as basic data in the future magnetostrictive laminate studies.  相似文献

Bending analysis of functionally graded plates using the two variable refined plate theory is presented in this paper.The number of unknown functions involved is reduced to merely four,as against five in other shear deformation theories. The variationally consistent theory presented here has, in many respects,strong similarity to the classical plate theory. It does not require shear correction factors,and gives rise to such transverse shear stress variation that the transverse shear stresses vary parabolically across the thickness and satisfy shear stress free surface conditions.Material properties of the plate are assumed to be graded in the thickness direction with their distributions following a simple power-law in terms of the volume fractions of the constituents.Governing equations are derived from the principle of virtual displacements, and a closed-form solution is found for a simply supported rectangular plate subjected to sinusoidal loading by using the Navier method.Numerical results obtained by the present theory are compared with available solutions,from which it can be concluded that the proposed theory is accurate and simple in analyzing the static bending behavior of functionally graded plates.  相似文献

A general approach, based on shearable shell theory, to predict the influence of geometric non-linearities on the natural frequencies of an elastic anisotropic laminated cylindrical shell incorporating large displacements and rotations is presented in this paper. The effects of shear deformations and rotary inertia are taken into account in the equations of motion. The hybrid finite element approach and shearable shell theory are used to determine the shape function matrix. The analytical solution is divided into two parts. In part one, the displacement functions are obtained by the exact solution of the equilibrium equations of a cylindrical shell based on shearable shell theory instead of the usually used and more arbitrary interpolating polynomials. The mass and linear stiffness matrices are derived by exact analytical integration. In part two, the modal coefficients are obtained, using Green's exact strain-displacement relations, for these displacement functions. The second- and third-order non-linear stiffness matrices are then calculated by precise analytical integration and superimposed on the linear part of equations to establish the non-linear modal equations. Comparison with available results is satisfactorily good.  相似文献

Thermal post-buckling analysis is presented for a simply supported, composite laminated plate subjected to uniform or non-uniform tent-like temperature loading. The initial geometrical imperfection of the plate is taken into account. The formulations are based on the Reddy's higher-order shear deformation plate theory, and include thermal effects. The analysis uses a mixed Galerkin-perturbation technique to determine thermal buckling loads and post-buckling equilibrium paths. Numerical examples cover the performances of perfect and imperfect, antisymmetrically angle-ply and symmetrically cross-ply laminated plates. The effects played by transverse shear deformation, thermal load ratio, plate aspect ratio, total number of plies, fiber orientation and initial geometrical imperfections are studied. 基于修正偶应力理论及表面弹性理论,本文提出了一种新的双曲线剪切变形梁模型,用于均匀微尺度梁的静态弯曲分析。该理论可以直接利用本构关系获得横向剪切应力,满足梁顶部和底部的无应力边界条件,避免了引入剪切修正因子。根据广义Young-Laplace方程建立了梁的内部与表面层的应力连续性条件,单一的变量场可以描述梁的位移模式。通过在位移场中考虑表面层厚度以及表面层的应力连续条件,可以使新模型能够更准确地预测微尺寸和表面能相关的尺度效应。通过Hamilton原理推导出了梁的控制方程和边界条件。应变能除了考虑经典弹性理论,还要考虑微结构效应和表面能。Navier-type的解析解适用于简支边界条件,而基于拉格朗日插值的微分求积法(DQEM)可以研究在不同边界条件下的力学响应。把该数值解与Navier方法得出的解析解作了对比,得出:微尺度梁在考虑表面能或微尺寸效应、不同载荷和梁高变化下的响应一致;当不考虑微结构相关性和表面能效应时,该模型退化为经典的欧拉梁模型。  相似文献

In this paper, based on the step reduction method, a new method, the exact element method for constructing finite element, is presented. Since the new method doesn't need the variational principle, it can be applied to solve non-positive and positive definite partial differential equations with arbitrary variable coefficient. By this method, a triangle noncompatible element with 6 degrees of freedom is derived to solve the bending of nonhomogeneous plate. The convergence of displacements and stress resultants which have satisfactory numerical precision is proved. Numerical examples are given at the end of this paper, which indicate satisfactory results of stress resultants and displacements can be obtained by the present method.  相似文献

In this paper, static flexural analysis of elliptic Reissner–Mindlin plates resting on a Pasternak foundation is conducted using the triangular differential quadrature method (TDQM). A triangular serendipity transformation is proposed to map a curvilinear domain onto a unit isosceles right triangle. The applicability of the TDQM to problems on domains with curvilinear boundaries is improved significantly since no inner points are needed in the transformation. In the case of thin circular plates, the results of the present method are in excellent agreement with those of the available exact solution, demonstrating the effectiveness of the present method. Elliptic plates with various aspect ratios and thickness-to-width ratios under uniformly distributed load are studied.  相似文献

In this paper we discuss the adoption of the anisotropic hardening model due to the existence of Bauschinger effect when thin plate is applied by repeated loading. The loading condition of thin plates for linear kinematic hardening has been deduced in terms of generalized forces and generalized plastic deformation. A finite difference method at arbitrary meshes for the bending of plates with variable thickness is presented in this paper.The method is completely general with respect to various boundary conditions,load cases and shapes of plates.This difference scheme is simple and the numerical results agree well with those obtained by other methods.  相似文献
