Trifluoromethylation of AuCl3 by using the Me3SiCF3/CsF system in THF and in the presence of [PPh4]Br proceeds with partial reduction, yielding a mixture of [PPh4][AuI(CF3)2] ( 1′ ) and [PPh4][AuIII(CF3)4] ( 2′ ) that can be adequately separated. An efficient method for the high‐yield synthesis of 1′ is also described. The molecular geometries of the homoleptic anions [AuI(CF3)2]? and [AuIII(CF3)4]? in their salts 1′ and [NBu4][AuIII(CF3)4] ( 2 ) have been established by X‐ray diffraction methods. Compound 1′ oxidatively adds halogens, X2, furnishing [PPh4][AuIII(CF3)2X2] (X=Cl ( 3 ), Br ( 4 ), I ( 5 )), which are assigned a trans stereochemistry. Attempts to activate C? F bonds in the gold(III) derivative 2′ by reaction with Lewis acids under different conditions either failed or only gave complex mixtures. On the other hand, treatment of the gold(I) derivative 1′ with BF3?OEt2 under mild conditions cleanly afforded the carbonyl derivative [AuI(CF3)(CO)] ( 6 ), which can be isolated as an extremely moisture‐sensitive light yellow crystalline solid. In the solid state, each linear F3C‐Au‐CO molecule weakly interacts with three symmetry‐related neighbors yielding an extended 3D network of aurophilic interactions (Au???Au=345.9(1) pm). The high $\tilde \nu $ CO value (2194 cm?1 in the solid state and 2180 cm?1 in CH2Cl2 solution) denotes that CO is acting as a mainly σ‐donor ligand and confirms the role of the CF3 group as an electron‐withdrawing ligand in organometallic chemistry. Compound 6 can be considered as a convenient synthon of the “AuI(CF3)” fragment, as it reacts with a number of neutral ligands L, giving rise to the corresponding [AuI(CF3)(L)] compounds (L=CNtBu ( 7 ), NCMe ( 8 ), py ( 9 ), tht ( 10 )).  相似文献

The pentaruthenium boride cluster [Ru5(CO)15B]- has been prepared from [Ru6(CO)17B]- but is unstable. The Ru5(CO)15B-core can be stabilized in the form of [Ru5(CO)15BAuPR3] (R=Ph or o-tolyl). Addition of [(Ph3PAu)3O][BF4] to [Ru5(CO)15B]- gives the trigold derivative [Ru5(CO)14B(AuPPh3)3] which possesses an novel core structure.  相似文献

We report the design, synthesis, and application of a (N^C^C)‐ligand framework able to stabilize highly electron‐deprived gold(III) species. This novel platform enabled the preparation of C(sp2)‐gold(III) fluorides for the first time in monomeric, easy‐to‐handle, bench‐stable form by a Cl/F ligand‐exchange reaction. Devoid of oxidative conditions or stoichiometric use of toxic Hg salts, this method was applied to the preparation of multiple [C(sp2)‐AuIII‐F] complexes, which were used as mechanistic probes for the study of the unique properties and intrinsic reactivity of Au? F bonds. The improved photophysical properties of [(N^C^C)AuIII] complexes compared to classical pincer (C^N^C)‐Au systems paves the way for the design of new late‐transition‐metal‐based OLEDs.  相似文献

Aggregation‐induced emission (AIE) provides an efficient strategy to synthesize highly luminescent metal nanoclusters (NCs), however, rational control of emission energy and intensity of metal NCs is still challenging. This communication reveals the impact of surface AuI‐thiolate motifs on the AIE properties of Au NCs, by employing a series of water‐soluble glutathione (GSH)‐coordinated Au complexes and NCs as a model ([Au10SR10], [Au15SR13], [Au18SR14], and [Au25SR18]?, SR=thiolate ligand). Spectroscopic investigations show that the emission wavelength of Au NCs is adjustable from visible to the near‐infrared II (NIR‐II) region by controlling the length of the AuI‐SR motifs on the NC surface. Decreasing the length of AuI‐SR motifs also changes the origin of cluster luminescence from AIE‐type phosphorescence to Au0‐core‐dictated fluorescence. This effect becomes more prominent when the degree of aggregation of Au NCs increases in solution.  相似文献

A "CO-like matrix", showing coordination analogous to that of carbonyl groups, is provided by silacalix[4]phosphinine macrocycles. Reaction with Au(I) leads to the first gold(I) complexes of macrocycles, which can be reduced with sodium or potassium to the paramagnetic gold(0) complexes (an example is shown), as evidenced by cyclic voltammetry and EPR spectroscopy.  相似文献

The study of perfluoroalkyl metal complexes is key to understand and improve metal-promoted perfluoroalkylation reactions. Herein, we report the synthesis of the first gold complexes with primary or secondary perfluoroalkyl ligands by photoinitiated reactions between AuI organometallic complexes and iodoperfluoroalkanes. Complexes of the types LAuRF (L=PPh3 or N,N-bis(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)imidazol-2-ylidene; RF=n-C4F9, n-C6F13, i-C3F7, c-C6F11) and [Au(RF)(Ar)I(PPh3)] (Ar=2,4,6-trimethylphenyl) have been isolated and characterized. Alkynes RFC≡CR were formed by reaction of Ph3PAuC≡CR (R=Ph, nHex) with IRF (RF=n-C4F9, i-C3F7). According to the evidences obtained, this transformation undergoes through a photoinitiated radical mechanism. AuIII complexes [Au(n-C4F9)(X)(Y)L] (X=Y=Cl, Br, I, Me; X=Me, Y=I) have been prepared or in situ generated, and their thermal or photochemical decomposition reactions have been studied.  相似文献

Homogeneous transition‐metal catalysis is a crucial technology for the sustainable preparation of valuable chemicals. The catalyst concentration is usually kept as low as possible, typically at mM or μM levels, and the effect of high catalyst concentration is hardly exploited because of solubility issues and the inherent unfavorable catalyst/substrate ratio. Herein, a self‐assembly strategy is reported which leads to local catalyst concentrations ranging from 0.05 M to 1.1 M , inside well‐defined nanospheres, whilst the overall catalyst concentration in solution remains at the conventional mM levels. We disclose that only at this high concentration, the gold(I) chloride is reactive and shows high selectivity in intramolecular C? O and C? C bond‐forming cyclization reactions.  相似文献

The multiple application of reductive amination on primary amino groups of first and second generation poly(propyleneimine) dendrimers is used as a one-pot approach to introduce twice the amount of the oligosaccharide units as surface groups, compared to initially present amino groups in the first and second generation dendrimers. This was proven by (1)H NMR, MALDI-TOF-MS, and LILBID-MS analysis. The size of these dendrimers was determined by the hydrodynamic radius using pulsed field gradient NMR and dynamic light scattering. Molecular modeling confirmed the presence of dense-shell dendrimers. These dendrimers exhibit a generation dependent Cu(II)/dendrimer ratio in an aqueous environment, highlighting these materials as possible metal-carrier systems with a well-defined oligosaccharide protection shell for application in a biological environment.  相似文献

Transition metal complexes with terminal oxo and dioxygen ligands exist in metal oxidation reactions, and many are key intermediates in various catalytic and biological processes. The prototypical oxo‐metal [(OC)5Cr? O, (OC)4Fe? O, and (OC)3Ni? O] and dioxygen‐metal carbonyls [(OC)5Cr? OO, (OC)4Fe? OO, and (OC)3Ni? OO] are studied theoretically. All three oxo‐metal carbonyls were found to have triplet ground states, with metal‐oxo bond dissociation energies of 77 (Cr? O), 74 (Fe? O), and 51 (Ni? O) kcal/mol. Natural bond orbital and quantum theory of atoms in molecules analyses predict metal‐oxo bond orders around 1.3. Their featured ν(MO, M = metal) vibrational frequencies all reflect very low IR intensities, suggesting Raman spectroscopy for experimental identification. The metal interactions with O2 are much weaker [dissociation energies 13 (Cr? OO), 21 (Fe? OO), and 4 (Ni? OO) kcal/mol] for the dioxygen‐metal carbonyls. The classic parent compounds Cr(CO)6, Fe(CO)5, and Ni(CO)4 all exhibit thermodynamic instability in the presence of O2, driven to displacement of CO to form CO2. The latter reactions are exothermic by 47 [Cr(CO)6], 46 [Fe(CO)5], and 35 [Ni(CO)4] kcal/mol. However, the barrier heights for the three reactions are very large, 51 (Cr), 39 (Fe), and 40 (Ni) kcal/mol. Thus, the parent metal carbonyls should be kinetically stable in the presence of oxygen. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.  相似文献

Hydrazinium metal glycinates [(N2H5 2M(NH2CH2COO)4] and bis(hydrazine)metal glycinates, [M(NH2CH2COO)2(N2H4)2], whereM=Co, Ni or Zn have been prepared and characterized by chemical analyses, magnetic moments and vibrational and electronic spectra. The thermal behaviour of these compounds has been studied by thermogravimetry and differential thermal analyses. These complexes decompose with high exothermicity giving metal powder as the final residue. The X-ray powder data of each set of complexes show isomorphism among themselves.  相似文献

Ab initio calculations suggest that a series of complexes of type [Pt(PH3)3? MPH3]+ (M = Au, Ag, Cu) are stable. We found that changes around the equilibrium distance Pt? M and in the interaction energies are sensitive to the electron correlation potential. This effect was evaluated using several levels of theory, including HF, MP2, and B3LYP. Both the magnitude of the interaction energies and distances Pt? M indicate a formal chemical bond, the latter being ratified by orbital diagram. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Corrole complexes with gold(I) and gold(III) were synthesized and their structural, photophysical, and electrochemical properties investigated. This work includes the X-ray crystallography characterization of gold(I) and gold(III) complexes, both chelated by a corrole with fully brominated β-pyrrole carbon atoms. The mononuclear and chiral gold(I) corrole appears to be the first of its kind within the porphyrinoid family, while the most unique property of the gold(III) corrole is that it displays phosphorescence at ambient temperatures.  相似文献
