We report the synthesis, crystal structures, thermal and magnetic characterizations of a family of metal‐organic frameworks adopting the niccolite (NiAs) structure, [dmenH22+][M2(HCOO)62−] (dmen=N,N′‐dimethylethylenediamine; M=divalent Mn, 1Mn ; Fe, 2Fe ; Co, 3Co ; Ni, 4Ni ; Cu, 5Cu ; and Zn, 6Zn ). The compounds could be synthesized by either a diffusion method or directly mixing reactants in methanol or methanol–water mixed solvents. The five members, 1Mn , 2Fe , 3Co , 4Ni , and 6Zn are isostructural and crystallize in the trigonal space group P 1c, while 5Cu crystallizes in C2/c. In the structures, the octahedrally coordinated metal ions are connected by anti–anti formate bridges, thus forming the anionic NiAs‐type frameworks of [M2(HCOO)62−], with dmenH22+ located in the cavities of the frameworks. Owing to the Jahn–Teller effect of the Cu2+ ion, the 3D framework of 5Cu consists of zigzag Cu‐formate chains with Cu OCHO Cu connections through short basal Cu O bonds, further linked by the long axial Cu O bonds. 6Zn exhibits a phase transition probably as a result of the order–disorder transition of the dmenH22+ cation around 300 K, confirmed by differential scanning calorimetry and single crystal X‐ray diffraction patterns under different temperatures. Magnetic investigation reveals that the four magnetic members, 1Mn , 2Fe , 3Co , and 4Ni , display spin‐canted antiferromagnetism, with a Néel temperature of 8.6 K, 19.8 K, 16.4 K, and 33.7 K, respectively. The Mn, Fe, and Ni members show spin‐flop transitions below 50 kOe. 2Fe possesses a large hysteresis loop with a large coercive field of 10.8 kOe. The Cu member, 5Cu , shows overall antiferromagnetism (both inter‐ and intra‐chains) with low‐dimensional characteristics.  相似文献

Three new transition metal tricyanomethanide complexes [Cu(dpyam)(tcm)2] ( 1 ), [Cu(dpyam)(tcm)(OAc)] ( 2 ) and Zn(dpyam)2(tcm)2 ( 3 ) were synthesized and characterized by single crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis. In 1 each copper(II) atom is coordinated to three tcm anions and one dpyam molecule to form a square pyramide geometry. In 2 the coordination geometry around the central metal is also square pyramidal, and each copper atom is surrounded by two tcm anions, one dpyam ligand and one OAc. Both 1 and 2 display a µ1,5‐tcm bridged infinite chain structure. In 3 each zinc(II) atom is coordinated by two tcm anions and two dpyam molecules to form a distorted octahedral geometry. Different from the former two complexes, 3 shows a mononuclear structure. Magnetic susceptibility measurement in the range 2–300 K indicates that there are weak antiferromagnetic couplings between adjacent copper(II) ions in 1 (J=?0.03 cm?1) and 2 (J=?0.11 cm?1) respectively.  相似文献

We report the synthesis, crystal structures, and spectral, thermal, and magnetic properties of a family of metal–organic perovskite ABX3, [C(NH2)3][MII(HCOO)3], in which A=C(NH2)3 is guanidinium, B=M is a divalent metal ion (Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, or Zn), and X is the formate HCOO?. The compounds could be synthesized by either diffusion or hydrothermal methods from water or water‐rich solutions depending on the metal. The five members (Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, and Zn) are isostructural and crystallize in the orthorhombic space group Pnna, while the Cu member in Pna21. In the perovskite structures, the octahedrally coordinated metal ions are connected by the antianti formate bridges, thus forming the anionic NaCl‐type [M(HCOO)3]? frameworks, with the guanidinium in the nearly cubic cavities of the frameworks. The Jahn–Teller effect of Cu2+ results in a distorted anionic Cu–formate framework that can be regarded as Cu–formate chains through short basal Cu? O bonds linked by the long axial Cu? O bonds. These materials show higher thermal stability than other metal–organic perovskite series of [AmineH][M(HCOO)3] templated by the organic monoammonium cations (AmineH+) as a result of the stronger hydrogen bonding between guanidinium and the formate of the framework. A magnetic study revealed that the five magnetic members (except Zn) display spin‐canted antiferromagnetism, with a Néel temperature of 8.8 (Mn), 10.0 (Fe), 14.2 (Co), 34.2 (Ni), and 4.6 K (Cu). In addition to the general spin‐canted antiferromagnetism, the Fe compound shows two isothermal transformations (a spin‐flop and a spin‐flip to the paramagnetic phase) within 50 kOe. The Co member possesses quite a large canting angle. The Cu member is a magnetic system with low dimensional character and shows slow magnetic relaxation that probably results from the domain dynamics.  相似文献

Three dinuclear lanthanide complexes [Ln2(H2L)2(NO3)4] [Ln = Dy ( 1 ), Tb ( 2 ), and Gd ( 3 )] [H3L = 2‐hydroxyimino‐N′‐[(2‐hydroxy‐3‐methoxyphenyl)methylidene]‐propanohydrazone] were solvothermally synthesized by varying differently anisotropic rare earth ions. Single‐crystal structural analyses demonstrate that all the three complexes are crystallographically isostructural with two centrosymmetric LnIII ions aggregated by a pair of monodeprotonated H2L anions. Weak intramolecular antiferromagnetic interactions with different strength were mediated by a pair of phenoxo bridges due to superexchange and/or single‐ion anisotropy. Additionally, the DyIII‐based entity shows the strongest anisotropy exhibits field‐induced single‐molecule magnetic behavior with two thermally activated relaxation processes. In contrast, 3 with isotropic GdIII ion has a significant cryogenic magnetocaloric effect with the maximum entropy change of 25.7 J · kg–1 · K–1 at 2.0 K and 70.0 kOe.  相似文献

Reaction of iron(II), cobalt(II) and nickel(II) selenocyanate with pyrazine in water at room temperature leads to the formation of the isotypic new ligand‐rich 1:2 (1:2 = ratio between metal and co‐ligand) compounds [M(NCSe)2(pyrazine)2]n (M = Fe ( 1 ), Co ( 2 ), Ni ( 3 )). The crystal structure of 2 was determined by X‐ray single crystal analysis and those of 1 and 3 were refined from X‐ray powder data with the Rietveld method. In their crystal structure the metal(II) cations are coordinated by four pyrazine co‐ligands, which connect them into layers, and two terminally N‐bonded selenocyanato anions in a distorted octahedral arrangement. The terminal coordination mode of the selenocyanato anions was further emphasized by IR spectroscopic investigations. On heating, all compounds decompose in a single heating step without the formation of ligand‐deficient intermediates like previously reported for related thiocyanato compounds. Magnetic measurements of compound 1 show a long‐range antiferromagnetic ordering with an ordering temperature of TN = 6.7 K, which must be mediated by the aromatic π‐system of the pyrazine ligand, whereas 2 and 3 show only Curie–Weiss behavior with antiferromagnetic exchange interactions.  相似文献

Single crystals of CeAgAs2 have been obtained by chemical transport reactions starting from a pre‐reacted powder sample. The crystal structure was solved using X‐ray diffraction (space group Pmca, No. 57, a = 5.7586(4) Å, b = 5.7852(4) Å, c = 21.066(3) Å, Z = 8) and refined to a residual of R(F) = 0.029 for 46 refined parameters and 1020 reflections. The structure of CeAgAs2 represents a new distorted and ordered variant of the HfCuSi2 type. The characteristic feature of this structure are infinite cis‐trans chains of As atoms with As—As distances of 2.563(1) Å and 2.601(1) Å. CeAgAs2 is paramagnetic (μeff = 2.37 μB, θ = —10.5(2) K), with antiferromagnetic ordering at 5.5(2) K and exhibits a metamagnetic transition starting at 4.6 kOe and T = 1.8 K.  相似文献

The crystalline one‐dimensional compound, [RhII2(bza)4(pyz)]n ( 1 ) (bza=benzoate, pyz=pyrazine) demonstrates gas adsorbency for N2, NO, NO2, and SO2. These gas‐inclusion crystal structures were characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray crystallography as 1 ?1.5 N2 (298 K), 1 ?2.5 N2 (90 K), and 1 ?1.95 NO (90 K) under forcible adsorption conditions and 1 ?2 NO2 (90 K) and 1 ?3 SO2 (90 K) under ambient pressure. Crystal‐phase transition to the P space group that correlates with gas adsorption was observed under N2, NO, and SO2 conditions. The C2/c space group was observed under NO2 conditions without phase transition. All adsorbed gases were stabilized by the host lattice. In the N2, NO, and SO2 inclusion crystals at 90 K, short interatomic distances within van der Waals contacts were found among the neighboring guest molecules along the channel. The adsorbed NO molecules generated the trans‐NO???NO associated dimer with short intermolecular contacts but without the conventional chemical bond. The magnetic susceptibility of the NO inclusion crystal indicated antiferromagnetic interaction between the NO molecules and paramagnetism arising from the NO monomer. The NO2 inclusion crystal structure revealed that the gas molecules were adsorbed in the crystal in dimeric form, N2O4.  相似文献

A new copper coordination polymer [Cu3(CN)(dmtz)2] ( 1 ) (Hdmtz = 3,5‐dimethyl‐1,2,4‐triazole) was solvothermally synthesized and characterized by IR spectroscopy, X‐ray power diffraction, and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. The single‐crystal diffraction analysis shows that compound 1 belongs to the orthorhombic space group Pmmn, and exhibits a 2D planar framework constructed by the ligand dmtz and cyanide anions, in which the cyanide anion was generated from in situ decomposition of acetonitrile. The photoluminescent study indicates that 1 emits strong blue‐green luminescence with long emission lifetimes in the solid state at room temperature.  相似文献

Rubidium amide‐ammonia(3/2), RbNH2·2/3NH3, was synthesized from Rubidiumhydride, RbH, in liquid ammonia at ?78 °C. The compound crystallizes in the cubic space group I213 with Z = 4, a = 10.0490(12) Å, and V = 1014.77(20) Å as isometric colorless crystals. The crystal structure was solved from single‐crystal X‐ray data. The structure contains a three‐dimensional network of amide anions and ammonia molecules, which are interconnected via hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

The crystal structure of the title compound, (C2H10N2)[Cr(C4H9N2O2)2]2Cl4·2H2O, has been determined by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction studies at 293 and 100 K. The analyses demonstrated that the crystal consists of ethylenediammonium dications (which lie about inversion centres), bis[N‐(2‐aminoethyl)glycinato]chromium(III) monocations, Cl? anions and hydrate water molecules, in a molecular ratio of 1:2:4:2. The complex cation unit has a slightly distorted octahedrally coordinated Cr atom, with two Cr—O and four Cr—N bonds in the ranges 1.951 (1)–1.953 (1) and 2.054 (1)–2.089 (2) Å, respectively, at 293 K. The geometry of the bis[N‐(2‐aminoethyl)glycinato]chromium(III) moiety was found to be trans, cis, cis with respect to the carboxylate O atom and the primary and secondary amine N atoms. The two analyses, at 293 and 100 K, exhibited no remarkable structural differences, although the colour of the crystals did differ, being red at 293 K and orange at 100 K.  相似文献

. The complex Hg4(L2)2(NO3)4 ( 1 ) (L2 = morpholin‐4‐ylpyridin‐2‐ylmethyleneamine) has been synthesized and characterized by CHN analysis, IR, and UV/Vis spectroscopy. The crystal structure of 1 was determined using single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. The crystal structure of 1 contains four mercury atoms, four nitrate anions (two terminal and two bridge ones) and two L2 ligand molecules. A chair shape, six‐membered ring is formed with the sequence OHgHgOHgHg built from Hg–Hg dumbbells and oxygen atoms from the nitrate co‐ligands. In the crystal structure, the asymmetric unit of the compound is built up by one‐half of the molecule. It contains the Hg22+ moiety with a mercury–mercury bonded core, in which one diimine ligand is coordinated to one of the mercury atoms. The nitrate anions act as anisobidentate and bidentate ligands.  相似文献

A novel organically templated copper pentaborate, [Cu(C3N2H4)4][Cu(CH3COO)2(C3N2H4)2(H2O)2]‐ [B5O6(OH)4]2, was synthesized by hydrothermal reaction and characterized by elemental analysis, single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction, FT‐IR spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy and TGA. The crystal structure of this compound consists of two copper‐centered polyhedra and two discrete [B5O6(OH)4]? pentaborate anions, which are linked together through intensive hydrogen bonding interactions, forming a 3D framework with large channels along c axis. The discrete pentaborate anions form infinite layers by hydrogen bonds. Moreover, the two crystallographically different octahedral coppers are connected by common oxygen atom to form an infinite chain.  相似文献

The structures of tetragonal (P42/ncm) lithium chlorite, LiClO2, and orthorhombic (Cmcm) potassium chlorite, KClO2, have been determined by single‐crystal X‐ray analyses. In LiClO2, the Li atom is at a site of symmetry, while in KClO2, the K atom is at a site with 2/m symmetry. In both compounds, the unique Cl and O atoms are at sites with mm and m symmetry, respectively. The structure of LiClO2 consists of layers of Li+ cations coordinated by ClO2 anions. In contrast, the structure of KClO2 contains pseudo‐layers of K+ and ClO2 ions containing four short K—O distances. The Li+ and K+ cations are surrounded by four and eight chlorite O atoms in tetrahedral and distorted cubic coordination environments, respectively.  相似文献

A novel mixed‐ligand complex {[Mn(azpy)2(dca)(H2O)2](ClO4)(azpy)(H2O)2}n ( 1 ) has been synthesized and characterized by single crystal X‐ray analysis, elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy and variable temperature magnetic measurement. The 4,4′‐azopyridine and dicyanamide ligands are abbreviated as azpy and dca, respectively. The crystal structure of 1 revealed that the 1D covalent bonding chains constructed by μ1,5‐dca bridging the MnII ions are linked together via O–H···N and O–H···O hydrogen bonds and ππ stacking interactions into a 3D supramolecular structure. V‐shape (bent) water trimers were also found in the structure. The water clusters play an important role in the formation of the 3D supramolecular structure. The determination of the variable temperature magnetic susceptibilities (2–300 K) shows the existence of a very weak antiferromagnetic interaction with a J value of ?0.16 cm?1.  相似文献

The synthesis and physico‐chemical characterization of an FeII complex [Fe( L1 )3](ClO4)2?CH3CN?0.5H2O, 1 , incorporating a bidentate imidazolylimine‐based ligand are reported. Complex 1 crystallises as the mer‐isomer and the crystal lattice is replete with hydrogen bonding interactions between ClO4? anions, solvent molecules and imidazole N‐H groups. Variable‐temperature structural, magnetic, photomagnetic and optical reflectivity techniques have been deployed to fully characterise the spin‐crossover (SCO) behaviour in 1 along with its desolvated phase, 1?desolv . Variable‐temperature (1.8–300 K) magnetic‐susceptibility measurements reveal a broad two‐step full SCO for 1 (T1/2=158 and 184 K) and photomagnetic experiments at 10 K under white‐light irradiation revealed complete photo‐induced SCO. 1?desolv displays considerably different magnetic behaviour with sharp single‐step SCO accompanied by a thermal hysteresis (T1/2↑=105 K, T1/2↓=95 K) in addition to full photo‐induced SCO at lower temperatures.  相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of the copper (II) complex [Cu2(OOCCH = C(CH3)Fc)3(phen)2]CIO4 · 2H2O (1) are reported. The structure of the complex was determined by single‐crystal X‐ray analysis. The compound crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group Pc, with Z =2, a = 1.2799(4) nm, b =0.9969 (4) nm, c = 2.5228 nm, and β = 91.576 (1) °. The cationic part of 1 indicates a penametallic core in which three 3‐ferrocenyl‐2‐crotonic acid salt (FCA) groups act as (O, O') bridging ligands between two copper (II) ions with a square‐pyramidal environment. Cyclic voltammetric experiments in acetonitrile have been performed mainly to examine the Fe(II) → Fe(III) one‐electron oxidation in FCA and its complex. The variable‐temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements revealed very weak intramolecular anti‐ferromagnetic coupling. Fitting parameters are 2J = ‐0.2 cm?1, g = 2.114, and θ = 0K.  相似文献

Three binuclear copper(II) complexes bridged by three different bridging ligands: μ-TPHA (terephthalato), μ-PHTA (phthalato) and μ-TCB (tetracarboxylatobenzene) have been synthesized. The crystal structure of [{Cu(dipn)}2(μ-TPHA)](ClO4)2 where dipn = N-(3-aminopropyl)-1,3-propanediamine was solved at room temperature. The [{Cudipn}2(μ-TPHA)](ClO4)2 complex consists of a μ-terephthalato bridging binuclear copper(II) cationic unit and two non-coordinated perchlorate anions. The TPHA ligand bridges in a bismonodentate fashion. The environment of the copper(II) ion is a distorted plane-square-planar coordination sphere. The magnetic properties of the three complexes have been investigated in the 75–300 K range, and show that the geometry of the CuII atom is the important factor for magnetic interactions in the terephthalato bridging binuclear copper(II) complexes. This revised version was published online in June 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献

RbSb2 – A Zintl Phase related to KSb2 The electron‐precise Zintl compound RbSb2, which was known to melt incongruently at 418 °C, has been prepared in pure phase from elemental rubidium and antimony in sealed tantalum crucibles. In accordance with the ribbon‐shaped antimonide anions, the compound crystallizes with extremely thin intergrown, mechanically and chemically very sensitive needles of dark‐metallic lustre. The crystal structure could be determined and refined using single crystal x‐ray data (monoclinic, space group C2/m, a = 1403(2), b = 414.0(4), c = 855.7(14) pm, β = 104.45(12)°, Z = 4, R1 = 0.0901) despite the poor quality of the crystals. It shows fused six‐membered rings of two‐ and three‐bonded Sb atoms forming ribbons running along the monoclinic b axis, which can be interpreted as sections of the elemental structure of antimony (dSb‐Sb = 281.9(5) and 286.0(9) pm respectively). The structure of RbSb2 is thus closely related to that of KSb2, which exhibits identical antimony anions. Compared to the potassium compound, the ribbons are reoriented against each so that the coordination number of the A counter ions is increased from 6 + 2 (for A = K) to 8 + 2 (for A = Rb). The results of a FP‐LAPW band structure calculation of RbSb2 are used to explain the chemical bonding in this classical Zintl phase with a calculated indirect band gap of 0.38 eV.  相似文献

Nanostructures of a new coordination polymer of divalent lead with the ligand 2, 9‐dimethyl‐1, 10‐phenanthroline (dmp) containing the first Pb2‐(μ‐ClO4)2 motif, [Pb2(dmp)2(μ‐N3)2(μ‐ClO4)2]n ( 1 ), was synthesized by a sonochemical method that produces the coordination polymers at nano size. The new nanostructure was characterized by scanning electron microscopy, X‐ray powder diffraction, IR, 1H NMR and 13C NMR spectroscopy, and elemental analysis. Compound 1 was structurally characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction and the single‐crystal X‐ray data shows that the coordination number of PbII ions is six, (PbN4O2), with two N‐donor atoms from aza‐aromatic base ligands and four O‐donors from two perchlorate anions and two N‐donors from two azide anions. It has a “stereo‐chemically active” electron lone pair, and the coordination sphere is hemidirected. The supramolecular features in these complexes are guided and controlled by weak directional intermolecular interactions. The chains interact with each other through π–π stacking interactions creating a 3D framework. The structure of the title complex was optimized by density functional theory calculations. Calculated structural parameters and IR spectra for the title complex are in agreement with the crystal structure. The PbO nanoparticles were obtained by thermolysis of 1 at 180 °C with oleic acid as a surfactant. The average diameter of the nanoparticles was estimated by the Scherrer equation to be 23 nm. The morphology and size of the prepared PbO samples were further observed using SEM.  相似文献

The crystal structure of the ambient‐pressure phase of vanadyl pyrophosphate, (VO)2P2O7, has been precisely determined at 120 K from synchrotron X‐ray diffraction data measured on a high‐quality single crystal. The structure refinement unambiguously establishes the orthorhombic space group Pca21 as the true crystallographic symmetry. Moreover, it improves the accuracy of previously published atomic coordinates by one order of magnitude, and provides reliable anisotropic displacement parameters for all atoms. Along the a axis, the structure consists of infinite two‐leg ladders of vanadyl cations, (VO)2+, which are separated by pyrophosphate anions, (P2O7)4?. Parallel to the c axis, the unit cell comprises two alternating crystallographically inequivalent chains of edge‐sharing VO5 square pyramids bridged by PO4 double tetrahedra. No structural phase transition has been observed in the temperature range between 300 and 120 K.  相似文献
